Apary from one if the dish rest all of them were great. Live music and great ambience. May be the bar and family counter can be different
Great ambience , laid back relaxed atmosphere and good live music.. nothing loud...a refreshing experience .
Good place to visit for live music and good food. happy hours spended with friends.
I visited the restaurant for the first time and I loved the food they served us. Both quality and quantity is worth mentioning. Price is little on the higher side. The only down thing is it has no parking area of its own.
Taken pan noodles that was simply awesome. I never eaten such tasty noodles. Love it and will visit again.
In frame: "Roasted Chilli Pork" and " Fish and chips"..
We had a great experience there.. Their service and management are quite impressive as well as their food.. specially the pork..
Although their price charge is a bit high but it does worth a try for sure..
I went two times there.its a cool place..Live music is there.. Fantastic food..Price is high but it's ok
This ironic restaurant stand on parkstreet as a witness of india's freedom fight(established in 1939) , here you can enjoy exceptional Contine food with live music performances..

To enjoy the place visit in any weekend evening. The ambience is good for the aristocats . You will get tasty dishes as well ENJOYED along with music.
Park Street and its charming restaurants with old world charm. Trincas was famous for cabaret and crooning performances. Infact,Usha Uthup started her singing career here. This was first time I visited this place and the food didn’t disappoint either. The baked crabs, lobster Thermidor, tetrazzini and grilled fish, everything vanished within minutes. Must visit!
Trincas is one of the old dining places of Kolkata in Park Street area. They are famous for their Continental dishes
We Had Chicken Tetrazzini And Sliced Lamb. Both the Dishes were very tasty.
The staffs were courteous and the ambience was very Good.
Amazing place with courteous staff. Best Prawns I ever had in my life!
OLD SCHOOL! Like the old clubs with tables close to each other and a live band in the center. The offer Continental and Chinese, both are pretty impressive. Cheap drinks :)

It's one of the iconic places of parksteet they have around 2 3 segments Beside each other so from live music to plain family restaurant they have everything in offer
Trincas is a very famous bar cum restro located at Park street,Just few minutes walking distance from park street metro station.
Ambience of this place is very unique and has a vintage touch. They have seating arrangement of more or less 40 people at once. They have arrangement of live music which is quite interesting.
If you are hoping for a calm ambience with soft music then this place is not appropriate for you. They have other section which has no arrangement of live music.
Service here is very fast and staffs are courteous and helpful to choose perfect dish according to your tastebud.
I tried chicken shaang dong which was amazing. Crispy fried chicken drumsticks tossed in sweet spicy tangy sauce along with some onions and chopped garlic.
I also loved their pan fried noodles and hong kong chicken. Pan fried noodles was loaded with chunks of chicken and exotic veggies. Hong kong chicken was not so spicy but taste was really lovely.
I had an amazing experience here. Looking forward to visit again.
Trincas is well known place situated in Park Street. This place is not only a restaurant and bar but also a heritage place of many memories. It has helped promote Park Street and placed it as a symbol. It's more than 60 years and continue, they have still hold their brand value. There are total 4 parts of Trincas. The main hall where there you can find spectacular ambiance and live music ( During evening) and the seating arrangement here is quite big and comfortable. The ming room is just beside the main hall, A glass separates ming room from The Trincas. This place was the first to introduce spicy Sichuan style food in our city. The other room and The Tavern are just behind the Main Trincas restaurant. These sections opens from 5:30 pm to 11:30 pm.
Coming to the food we had :-
Mini Chicken Ala kiev ( 375/-) :- It's the miniature version of chicken ala Kiev. It is basically crumb fried chicken breast which is an unique one from the normal ala Kiev available in other places. The melted butter stuffing is also amazing. Must try dish at this place.
Chilli roast Pork ( 365 /-) :- Soft and juicy diced pork cooked with veggies and spices . Highly recommend at this place. The quality of the pork was really good.
Chicken drums of heaven (285/-) :- Another Trincas special dish you should try at this place. The uniqueness of this dish is really different from others. The stuffing is really nice and the juiciness is also present in each and every piece.
Beckti in paprika sauce (445/-) :- Fish in a cheesy paprika wine wrap served with rice and mashed potatoes and sautéd veggies . The quality of the fish was just wonderful.
Chicken steak sizzler ( 395/-) :- It was really something that can't be ignore while visiting Trincas. The pepper mushroom sauce on a juicy, soft grilled chicken breast with some mashed potatoes and sautéd veggies is a unforgettable dish at this place. The taste was fabulous.
Overall a nice place to visit with your friends and families. Do visit their official website and in the offer section you can get a loyality card to avail 15% off on the bill ( T&C) apply. The service here in all the sections are really good. The food was fantastic and the portion was quite good with respect to the price. If you ever visit Park Street then do visit this place for some authentic food both in Continental and chinese. With out visiting this place your visit to park Street is incomplete. Will come here again soon.

Trincas is an already much popular and established restaurant in and across the city of Joy,so there is nothing much new to say about this place. But yes I would love to share my experience here.
Very recently, I had visited this place on an evening. When I entered, a soft live Hindi music was going on and the staff over there courteously welcomed us.
Then we ordered-
Mini Chicken A la Kiev,
Chicken drums of Heaven,
Chicken steak sizzler,
Chilli pork,
Bhetki In Paprika Sauce.
Will come to all the dishes one by one,but before that I want to mention that there are all total four outlets of Trincas, all the four outlets serve different cuisine(you can details on Zomato as well as on their official website).
Coming to food, pork in chilli pork was soft and I can say one of the best quality pork in the city.
Chicken steak sizzler was served with smashed potato and peas. Sizzler gravy was not too oily or greasy, chicken was soft and well cooked.
I tried a la kiev first time here,it was good, five pieces were served in a portion,it was a continental version of chicken pakora thick coated chicken with melted butter inside.
Chicken drums of heaven, coating was crispy and soft; chicken was soft, juicy and tender.
Bhetki in Paprika Sauce was my personal favourite here, baked bhetki was served with butter rice, smashed potato and sauted vegetables. Bhetki was soft, whenever I put it in mouth,it just melted.
Last but not least, I just loved their live music section and the singers.
Trincas is famous for its live singing and a decked up ambience. It boasts of rich flavours and soothing music. A must visit for all the foodies out there. They have a good bar as well inside the restaurant. This place is really recommended. Cheers and Happy Eating!❤️
Trincas is a legendary restaurant of Kolkata, located in park street. It was established in the 1930s, many restaurants have come & gone but Trincas has managed to survive this long. Not only they have survived but also expanded. Ming room was established in the 80's which serves Schezwan style food. They also opened The Other Room and Tavern in the 70's, which serves alcohol at minimal prices and has old calcutta vibes. Few days ago I had the opportunity to visit this iconic restaurant and try some of their signature dishes.
What I had,
🔸 Chicken Drums Of Heaven
🔹 Chicken Steak Sizzler
🔸 Chilli Pork
🔹 Mini Chicken A La Kiev
🔸Caramel Custard
The drums of heaven were extremely juicy with crunchy coating. Loved the chicken sizzler as well. Although, it would have tasted better if the chicken was more tender. The chilli pork was the show stopper for me. This was the best chilli pork I have had in a restaurant. All I was missing was a glass of whiskey! The mini a la kiev is definitely a must try. The best part is you can share it with your group, everyone gets to crack open the ala kiev. Finished off with caramel custard, which was very light on my palate and ideal way to finish a good meal.
Trincas is a classic old restaurant situated at the heart of Park Street. This is surely one of the nostalgic places for 80's people and after hearing so much about this place, me and my friends thought of paying this restaurant a visit and let me tell you it was worth it. Right from the dim light, red lamp ambience to those soulful live music, everything just falls right in place. According to me, this place is perfect for date night or even celebrations with family as the music sets the mood right.
Now coming to the food that we tried ie we took some of their signature dishes as suggested by them. These are.:
• Mini Chicken A la Kiev
•Bekti in Paprika Sauce.( Must try)
• Chilli Pork( Must Try)
• Chicken Drums Of heaven
• Caramel Custard.
Each dish was worth it but my personal favorite were the mini chicken a la kiev, chilli pork and baked bekti in paprika sauce as they tasted heavenly. I had the best chilli pork in my life till now here, so pork lovers do try out!
Go ahead and try out their signature dishes because they are amazingly delicious.
Would love to visit again just for the chilli pork and the live music which starts from 6 pm and goes on till 11.30 pm daily.
One of my favourite restaurants in Kolkata that scores both in ambience and food. Ordered today LIIT, bloody mary on cocktail. Spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti bolognese, shepherd's pie, lamb lasagna. All the dishes tasted good. Loved the live music too.
On 31st evening I visited there with my lover.D place is truly mesmerising.2 things I loved d most.1. The live music which was soooo good and enjoyable.2. staffs are very co operative..Moreover,they made our new year eve very special and beautiful.Keep it up.
Location - Park Street. Beside the Park Hotel.
This place in one of the oldest restaurants in Kolkata. It's an emotion for the 80's and 90's people. I heard so many stories about this place and finally got the opportunity of visiting it.
I was there during the day so there was no live bands or any music whatsoever. It just got newly renovated but the best part is that it still has the aesthetic of old Calcutta style decor which is so rare nowadays and looks beautiful.
Coming to the order:
▪ Sula White Wine - got a 15% discount bcoz of happy hours.
▪ Chicken Cordon Bleu - Fried chicken with cheese filling. Tasted yummy.
▪ Chicken Straugonoff - Butter rice with chicken in cheese sauce. Tasted absolutely delicious.
The food here is super amazing and sumptuous. The staff is so sweet and polite. The service was good too. And the ambiance is just perfect. Surely coming back here super soon!
Trincas has always maintained a special place when it comes to the heritage of Kolkata. From it's classy ambience to food everything is so perfect.
It basically has 4 rooms.
Trincas, The ming room, The other room and Tavern.
So few days back I thought of having an amazing dinner and knew that Trincas never gonna fail me. We ordered-
Cocktail-
Pinacolada
Screwdriver
Bloody mary
Food-
Chelo Kebab Platter
Shepherd's pie
Chili pork
Drums of heaven
Crispy chicken
Murgh makhmali cheese kebab
Each and every dish was excellent and really enjoyed having it. Service was prompt if you are in Kolkata you should definitely try this place out atleast once.
We had 1 Non Veg Sizzler Platter, 1 Thai Fried Rice with Chicken and Shrimp, 1 Chicken Makhmali kebab , 1 Chilli Chicken Roast and 1 Vodkatinni in Cocktail

Trincas is an emotion for most 80's & 90's people. The ambiance, the food and the music, all three together makes Trincas a magical place in the evening time. Small red table lamps, a glass of whiskey and a seat near the big window that gives an amazing view of Park street. It's just an amazing experience all together. The music at this place has never stopped since 1959. Even today, bands play live Hindi music from 6:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. and English Music from 9:30 P.M. -11:30 P.M. every single day.
Trincas has four main sections that the restaurant is divided into and they are:
Trincas
The Ming Room
The Other Room
Traven
So recently just before Christmas I decided to visit my favourite place once again with my friends.
Now let's come to the food and cocktails that I had tried this time and tell you about my experience.
Cocktail-
Pinacolada
Bloody Marry
Screwdriver
.
All the three cocktails were well presented and well mixed. They tasted really good.
Food-
Chelo Kebab Platter
Shepherd's pie
Drums Of Heaven
Chilli Pork
Crispy Chicken
Murgh Makhmali Cheese Kebab
.
All of the food that I had tried was super delicious and the quantity that they serve is good enough for two adults to share. I would highly recommend the Drums Of Heaven, Chilli Pork, Murgh Makhmali Cheese Kebab, Chelo Kebab Platter and
Shepherd's pie. The Drums of Heaven is a house specialty and it's a must try. The chelo Kebab Platter was super delicious and filling. The Shepherd's Pie was well baked and the lamb was well minced and properly baked. The Murgh Makhmali Cheese Kebab was served with green chatni and salad. The succulent chicken kebabs had a layer of cheese on it that made it more delicious.

Trincas is a living icon it represents the past and is a modern reminder of Calcutta’s history and cultural heritage. Trincas is not "old", it is "classic" - it has many moods and secret rooms.
This is Kolkata’s most iconic stage and live music venue. The music here has never stopped since 1959. Even today, bands play live Hindi music from 18:00 – 21:00 and live English Music from 21:30 -23:30 every single day!
Have you tried the Chelo Kebab Sizzler at Trincas?
It's the best .
And try their Shepard's pie made of lamb meat .
These two own my heart.
Next up is chicken drums of heaven which is a orginal recipe and served with red chilli sauce which made in house.
Dry pork chops are also good.
Lastly I loved their murg malai cheese kabab. It's so nice with layers of Cheese and the spices.
Had a lovely brunch at this place today. Its quite an old place, serving good food and affordable drinks. Front of the house is excellent with an inviting and cosy ambience.
Tried the following:
• Devilled Crab - Tried crab meat for the first time and I am thrilled with the experience. It is served with mashed potato, blanched peas and a sauce.
• Betcki with Paprika Sauce: This is really a treat for the taste buds. The fish is baked in a cheesy paprika-wine sauce served with veggies, mashed potatoes & cream and buttered rice.
•Budweiser
•Bacardi Breezer(Cranberry)
I would love to visit the place again and taste other dishes. Highly recommended.

Good ambience but with loud live music. Small place a bit crowded. Very well behaved staffs. The food is tasty but very much spicy. Roasted chliiy chicken congi lamb pan fried fish were all very much spicy and hot than other places. Price and quantity is reasonable

Nothing to say more about this hotel. One of those famous restaurants of Kolkata which our father's generation started adoring and we are continuing. The live music and the food .. Yummy...
Good food, good ambience, a bit music and cheap drinks!!
Main show stoppers are pork starters. Also their Chinese dishes are very good!
Overall a good place to have drinks with friends over any day !!
Few days ago I visited this place with my friends and really loved it.
The taste was so good and really loved the quantity and quality.
Will surely visit this place again and will suggest this place to everyone
We went there on ashtami. Even during the busy hours the service was top class - be it food quality, punctuality or staff behaviour. The food was tasty too. I loved the chelo kebab. The keema kulcha was mouth watering. The murg tikka makhani was buttery, flavourful and the meat was very tender. The quantity is also very good. I will definitely visit again.
The name itself describes everything... The place where generation after generation gather to touch the history and taste the old flavors of Kolkata... So for Ashtomi night out this was the best place to go... I was super excited cause I've heard a lot about this place from my dad and now am stepping to the exact place where my dad used to go at his early age... The entire place was filled with the Durga Pujo crowd... People were enjoying food and booze over music... When we entered, the next band was about to perform... It was an amazing experience to have food with live music... We had Beer, Chicken wonton, Chicken drumsticks, Mixed haka noodles and lemon ginger fish... Chicken wontons were super crispy and I loved that chicken drumsticks... It was crunchy outside and juicy inside... Though that lemon ginger fish was a bit disappointing as it was sooo bland... Otherwise it was a very nice experience...
Old heritage place still maintaining standards. had a wonderful time over there at Ashtami night.such an amazing live band performance. Food was classy too.worth every single penny.. must must visit place
The ambience was superb with live arcestra. I visited the restaurant on navami night. The taste of food was very nice but the mojito was too bad, it was tasted like fresh lime soda. Overall experience was good, will recommend.
Nice place to hangout... ambiance is pretty old school, live band is also an attraction...food is also good specially those starters and sizzlers
One of the best place in kolkata, rhe food is awesome, specially the sizzelers, and the music by live band just make your day and night 😁 a must visit place

Been there with my friends & tried some continental with red wine..Food was nice..Overall nice experience..
Visited the place at afternoon on a weekday. The place was almost empty except 2-3 tables. The ambience was nice, staffs were courteous.Ordered Chicken cordon bleu,Thai fried rice,Chilly roast pork. The servings were enough for a full belly.Food was fantastic.Waiters were ready to serve everytime we needed a helping. The bill was 1.1k with gst which was quite reasonable.Wish to visit the place once again preferably during live music hours.
Had been to Trincas today.... Its a wonderful place for a short break from your regular routine..
.
Had #jasmine_tea and #chicken_cordon_bleu.
.
The cordon bleu was mind blowing...
Jasmine tea could have been better..
It was a unplanned visit. We were in new market and suddenly made a plan to visit it. Located at the heart of park street, Park hotel building.
Musicians were playing in front of us. We ordered chicken peeper, chicken omelet with sweet lime soda. Each item were so good. Pocket pinch is average. Ambiance was so good. Overall a good experience.
The place has an old world charm. I have been there twice now, once on a weekday and once on a Sunday. The place transforms on Sunday! However on a week night one might find mostly men with their drinks. The live music ups the vibe of the place. We have had only Chinese both the times and the food is strictly okay. But not bad. Maybe a visit for old kolkata's sake is worth it.
One of the oldest and most renowned places in the heart of Kolkata.
Their continental dishes including chicken tetrazzini are out of the world.
Happy fooding!😋
Great ambience with live music. Staffs are very courteous. Spacious outlet. I didn't like cocktails here. But others are good. Since its spacious you won't feel the crowd. That's really good.
I went there with my friends...Loved the ambience...you can enjoy there Live music...food was not so bad..and not so good... Quantity was enough for two...
Located near the park hotel , park street, ,the food here is really nice.
The ambience is completely retro and classy, accompanied with soothing english music.
We ordered:
Chello kabab 4.5
Afghni fish 5/5 recommended
Chicken steak 4.5
Mixed fried rice 5/5
Lamb chilli sauce 5 recommended
Coke and Bacardi
The food was awesome and flavourful.
A must try place.
The pocket pinch is 2000₹ for two
The cremē de la cremē of imperial places in Kolkata to dine in, this place is the birthplace to cabaret culture as brought in by the Europeans when they first came to India and settled in. Decor wise, this place looks posh, ambience wise fantastic, with singers performing (good ones only on Friday and Saturday nights). The food is to die for, my regular order here is Trincas Special Mixed Grill (try it, you will not regret it). Also, for a change of taste after a meal, DEFINITELY try the Pineapple & Cheese on a bed of ice cubes.
P.S. - Middle aged drunk uncles might get a little loud as the night progresses, but the food can make you ignore that.
I have visited this place several times with my family. Being one of the popular outlets in the Park Street area, this restaurant is a must visit. This place offers casual dining. Ambience is good although a little congested because tables are placed too close to each other. But this is a minor issue that can be adjusted. They also have a live band performing there. The English numbers from them will definitely lift your mood up.
Coming to the food, they offer Indian, Chinese and continental cuisine. Every cuisine offers a wide range of dishes and each dish has a speciality of its own.
This time we ordered from the Indian cuisine. Ordered chicken pakora and Murgh makhmali kabab for starters. The pakoras were a totally different preparation unlike the regular pakoras. The makhmali kabab was too tender and buttery. It justs melts in the mouth. Then we ordered butter naan, Murgh bharta and Murgh do piaza. They were all mouth watering and up to the mark. The do piaza was a complete treat to the taste buds. Completed our dinner with a glass of sweet fresh lime soda. This place should be in your list if you crave for good food.
Whenever I'm going to parkstreet area, most of the time I'm ending up at this place to enjoy their mouthwatering delicacies specially the Chinese platters. Not only the food, we can enjoy the live music and the cricket on a large screen as well. Also, staff's are very professional & friendly in nature. This place is one of the oldest & reputed restro bar in the city & I can surely visit this place again n again.
Recommended ~ Prawn cocktail, so refreshing and made with fresh prawns.
Cheery Cheese Pineapple, the tanginess of pineapple, sweetness of the cherry, bit salty cheese & I'm drowning in the flavours.
In Frame- Nachos served with salsa & shredded cheese. Tried for the first time but taste was very ordinary to me.
Didn't like much except the salsa.
So whoever like Indo Chinese plate this is a must visit place for them..
Quality of food is excellent, but given the price, I'd have expected a little more. Beer is pretty expensive too.
It's a great place for a date but not for hanging out with friends.
You will surely love this place for the live music. The food is decent but the service is not so great.. You literally need to call a person thrice to just ask to serve the food.
A place where i want to visit more often!
I went there twice, once with my wife during durga puja and once with my friends during last winter. My experience visiting here were amazing. What a musical ambiance does this restaurant offer to its visiters after evening. This restaurant also has a wide range of variety in food, beverages and hard drinks. First time when i visited there during Durga Puja, i had ordred chicken in hot garlic sauce and mixed chili garlic fried rice along with budweiser magnum beer. Food was awesome with this heavenly smooth beer. In my next visit, i had ordered roasted lamb in devil sauce in starter along with bira, budweiser and kingfisher beer. The starter was amazing in taste and then had ordered some Indian and continental dishes in main course and my taste buds were constantly falling in love with the food that i ate.
The place doesn’t have the same charm as it did many years ago but it’s the nostalgia of the place that brings me back every time. The food, drinks and ambience are alright.
The tables are placed a little close to one another. So it's a little difficult to have a private conversation. Live music is good. Although it can get a little loud at times and prevent you from having a free flowing conversation. I went with a friend on a Sunday evening. They did not have Most of the beers listed on the menu. So overall it was an ok experience. Did not live up to the hype.
The live music ambience is my favorite and main reason to visit Trincas every time I am in Kolkata. Place gets crowded quickly on weekends and special occasions like during Pujas, New Year etc so either book a table in advance or reach well in time. Food is good. Try their Chelo Kabab sizzler & Chicken Tettrazinni.
There is hardly anything left (or anything already not known) i can write about ..for something which is in the market for 60 years now!! it carries a brand name being one of the oldest bar and restuarants in the city .... and also carries a special memory for me as well, as i dined out here only, with my girlfriend on our first date ....
Leaving aside emotions and coming to food now😊 .... it's famous for it's diverse range of Continental, Chinese and Indian items as well ..... quality is overall good for most of the items , and great for some (like butter garlic prawn, sizzlers, etc ) .... but what adds to the overall satisfaction quotient is the live music being played by artists .... the restaurant consists of one large hall and one small room ... the hall hosts live music ... if u want a comparatively less noisy environment, u can opt for the small room ..... if u want a more vintage feel along with live music, go for Trincas ..(in contrast to a more polished and sophisticated feel like in hard rock cafe) ... guess it would depend on your mood at that point of time 😊 ...

Trincas is on it's 60th year and is known as the legendary place in Kolkata. The vintage charm of this place with good music , food and drinks makes a perfect place to hangout.
Food :
Mini chicken ala kiev : mini crispy butter filled chicken appetizers which was my favourite from the menu.
Mixed grill : Grilled pork chops, sausages, steak, veggies, mashed potatoes makes it a wholesome meal.
Chicken stroganoff: the flavours were amazing, very light and comforting.
Shepherd pie: great in taste.
Caramel custard: best custard I ever had. Perfectly sweet, soft and full of flavours.
The service was great and ambience was authentic and vintage. Spacious seating with courteous staff. A must visit.
And who doesn't want to come back ever and ever at Trincas. There are some places which do not need reviews and Trincas is one of them.. We visited the place 2months back but spent a quality time. Singers were all marvelous. The drinks, food and ambience was just perfect to take you at a certain distant place where your soul will get ultimate solace. Infact we became real late to return hearing on the performance.. I just remember that salt was really on lower side for every starters we ordered... Drink was just perfect . Trincas is a must visit for all kolkatan as it bears the nostalgia
This heritage restaurant of Kolkata turns 60 this year. I was recently at this place along with my friends to try out their continental menu.
Trincas holds a special place in our hearts and also it's vintage feel adds a different charm to the city.
The items that we had tried out were
Mini Ala Kiev - This is absolutely my favorite. When I had tried this out it was completely hot and butter was oozing out it. This is one of the signature dishes that this place had to offer.
Baked corn and spinach supreme - A completely delectable and healthy dish to try out from their menu.
Vegetable Stroganoff - This dish is unique and was good in taste.
Shepherd's pie - This had the perfect combination of lamb and mashed potatoes. I absolutely loved this.
Mix grill - Chicken, lamb, sausages, bacon, sunnysideup and fries were part of this mix grill platter. Absolutely delicious.
Spaghetti with Shrimps - Being a shrimp lover this had to be menu. Absolutely amazing to taste.
Along with the dishes there were mocktails to try out as well.
To end our meal we had the caramel custard which is undoubtedly the best in the city having the perfect balance of sweetness and soft texture.
Absolutely I loved this place, it's food, ambience and amazing hospitality.

Located at the hub of Park Street, Trincas is one of the most renowned place to dine in, in a Victorian ambience. Moreover in the evenings one can enjoy live music as well. We had gone for lunch and ambience is kept simple and sober.
Tried out some their continental menu this time:
Vegetable Straugonoff in which veggies were tossed in a light mushroom sauce served with butter rice.
Prawn Tettrazini was my favorite, spaghetti tossed in a white sauce with cheese, olives and babycorns with ample amount of prawn was too delicious.
Chicken A la Kiev, they had a mini version of the dish which can be only found here. The butter just bursts in the mouth and tastes just amazing.
Shepherd's Pie had minced lamb on a bed of mashed potatoes which was baked and it tasted quite good.
Spinach and Baked Corn Supreme tasted good.
It had a unique flavor served on a bed of rice, tasted good.
At last for Dessert had Caramel Custard, which is undoubtedly the best I have had so far with the right texture and sweetness.
I had recently been to this heritage restaurant in Park Street and tried some of their signature Continental dishes.
• Mini Ala Kiev - This is only place in Kolkata where you can find this beauty. They were fried to crispness and had butter inside. One bite and butter would ooze out of it.
• Baked Corn and Spinach Supreme - Cheese, corn and spinach - the best ever combination for vegetarians. I loved this among all the veg dishes.
• Shepherd's Pie - I loved the combination of minced lamb and mashed potato. Tasted delicious !
• Mixed Grill - This was a sizzler which had chicken, lamb, sausages, pork, poached egg and fries ! All in all, it was amazing and very filling.
• Spaghetti with Shrimps - The spaghetti was well cooked. It was cheesy and had shrinps and mushrooms. It was served with potato mash and veggies.
For dessert, I tried the Caramel Custard, which was one the best in the city, having the right texture and the perfect balance of sweetness.
I had dinned at this place so many times...
Baked bhetki is one of my all time favourite from the menu!! Also the the live music that can make your day... One of the oldest rasturants in town a must visit... 😊😊😊
Visited this place for the first time and had a great experience. The food was good and the ambience was even better, loved the live music. But, the best part was the service, which is why I look forward to visiting the place again.
I've have been waiting for a long time to dine at this place. I was way too satisfied. Food was finger licking good. It's quite pocket friendly. Waiters were very polite and they kept asking us whether we were enjoying or not. 5 stars to the food. If you love hindi classics along with good food, you can step into Trincas. Singers singing live for you, while you enjoy your food with soft music. We ordered
1.Murg Lahori Kebab- If don't want to have anything spicy yet tasty , you can go for this.
2.Murg Makhani - It was different kind of dish. It wasn't spicy but it was full of taste. I bet you wont be talking when you'll have this.
3.Masala Kulcha - It was full of veggies , soft and really delicious
Highly recommend.

Located at Park Street, just beside Someplace Else, this place has a very soothing ambience with live music playing English songs from the golden era evening onwards, can be enjoyed with family and friends.
We ordered Fish tikka kebab, lat me kai, Murgh malai kebab and chicken steak with Virgin mojit cocktail and tuborg. Each of the food items were succulent, tasty and satisfying.

Park Street in Kolkata has a bunch of good restaurants. And I'll put Trincas right there at the top. Excellent ambience with live music, genres changing every couple of hours. Polite staff with prompt service.
We started off with drinks, and within the group, ordered a beer, vodka with orange juice, virgin pina colada and lemon soda. The good music, platefuls of crispy corn and the cool beverages wonderfully set the mood for the evening. Next up was the subzi seekh kabab and paneer hariyali. Soft, melt in the mouth mix of finely minced veggies cooked to perfection makes the kabab a must order dish. Paneer hariyali had succulent paneer chunks coated with a tangy and spicy green gravy. The quality of paneer used was superlative.
For mains, we ordered the Baked Corn and Spinach Supreme, that had oodles of spinach and palak coated with a cheesy sauce, baked and served in a glass casserole. It was paired with mashed potatoes and butter rice. This is the second restaurant Ive come across serving buttered plain rice and I must say it went very well with the casserole.
Next up was veg lasagna. I've maintained always that lasagna is not an easy dish to perfect. The sheets of pasta, the consistancy and quantity of the filling must come together just right. Only the right combination of sauce, filling, pasta sheets and cooking time can deluver a good lasagna. And the chef at Trincas got it perfect. Surely Lasagna and the baked corn casserole were the highlight of the meal.
We also ordered some hakka noodles, which kind of stood like an odd man out. Thouh made well, it didnt stand a chance after the lasagna!
Overall I very much enjoyed the evening here and wouldn't think twice about recommending this place.
This place needs no introduction. One of the oldest pubs in town with a rich heritage. The live music here is amazing and worth spending your time on listening to it.
A legendary place, from where my grandfather bought the finest cake for my mom's birthday every year. The old world charm still exudes from the classy interiors to the exquisite choice in old school music. They also have live music performances in the evening (this place was actually the launchpad for the famed Usha Utthup). The Irani kebabs were made to perfection, the raan mangsho with just the right amount of spice and everything about the caramel pudding was to die for. Definitely recommend with place as a must for anyone visiting the city!
Food recommended:
Irani chicken kebabs, chicken Cordon Bleu, raan (Mangsho) mutton, caramel custard

Decent place to dine with family...reminds of old Calcutta and aristocracy. The food is good as well as service... Scrumptious quantity is offered.
I visited this place last Sunday with my parents and had a lovely experience..The cordial behavior of the stuffs was really worth appreciation..Live music performance was there..We had tried out Fish Fingers with french fries and Makhmali murg kebab for the starters and both especially the former one won the show ❤️ In the main course we had a masala kulcha,a makhani nun and a tandoori roti alongswith dhania chicken..For the desserts we had tried out chocolate brownie with icecream..And a glass of red wine and beer ❤️
Trincas Restaurant and Bar, situated on Park Street, stands as a sophisticated culinary establishment offering a captivating and enchanting dining experience. The establishment's refined ambiance, complemented by live music, exudes an aura of elegance. The extensive and meticulously crafted menu caters to diverse tastes, presenting an array of options from delectable starters to mouthwatering main courses. The culinary offerings are rich in flavor and consistently impressive. The restaurant's tasteful decor and well-appointed seating arrangements contribute to an inviting and refined atmosphere. Trincas, with its commitment to excellence, is undeniably a superlative destination for those seeking a delightful and memorable dining affair.
Extremely slow service during breakfast apart from that it is excellent . loved the place since my childhood days due to its historic values. Excellent breakfast with eggs and sausages. Place is the morning has its vibes with calm and relaxing atmosphere.
Trincas is a Posh Restaurant in Park Street with a very Liberal Ambiance
I loved the hedonistic ambiance of the restaurant, everything about this place simply oozes of elitist luxury and having mindless fun with friends.
I loved the Food of this place, but what I appreciate even more is the Rainbow Pride Banner hanging outside right beside the door of this restaurant, which makes me as a homosexual man feel represented.
Overall, I love Trincas, it's a great place to be in!

I wanted to give the service 5 stars also, but 4.5 is right.
Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, excellent live band, and very good service. But there was someone not in uniform at the door who was kind of driving traffic which I did not appreciate.
The food was excellent. The service was mostly thoughtful (and most so from the junior staff). And the drinks menu was very well priced and adequate.
Highly recommended. Well done. Exceeded expectations.
I went again, on 19 Dec 2023 for a small meal of beer and Prawn Tetrazzini. For its price, the food is excellent. A little surprised though that Garlic Bread doesn't go with the meal. One suggestion would be l, to tell the guest that at the time of ordering.
The food, ambience, decor and service were outstanding. Still highly recommended.
What can one say more about Trincas. Iconic place with a lot of history. The restaurant lost its way a bit in the past, but recently they went a change and their chef as well as service went a full overhaul.
Now it's a brilliant place to have chinese mughlai and even continental dishes. Live music on weekends is an add on.
We had mixed grill platter, mixed fried rice, chicken side dish.
Much recommended, give this place a visit definitely.
🫰How to reach:4-5 mins walk from park Street metro station. Just beneath the Park hotel
🫰 Cuisine- a huge variety of food items including coffee from morning 8.30 AM to dinner with Pina colada 11 PM
🫰Menu- https://www.trincas.in/menu
🫰Food- foods were very tempting, each item was superb.
🫰USP- FOOD WITH LIVE ORCHESTRA
🫰Most most recommended. As in a park Street area, foods are affordable and side dishes are enough for two persons.
The ambience, feel and vibe of the place is very classy without doubt. Service is prompt and sharp. The waiters help you with the menu and recommends the best. As for the food i felt not all the dishes are worth the hype. Overall it is a fine dining experience 😊😊
Great place for an outing with family and friends. Good quality food and lovely ambience with live band. This place has sufficient staff unlike other places in Park Street area so their service is prompt and very good. Tried both Chinese and Indian , both were equally good.
It was truly an amazing evening. Foods taste awesome. The services were also good and also the atmosphere. The music band did a wonderful job. Overall, it was a lovely experience which should be remembered. Mr. Gomes helped us to select the dishes which were really amazing in taste and also the presentation of the dishes was really commendable. Had a lovely nostalgic evening with Trincas. Definitely a second time visit place with family or friends. I will highly recommend my people to spend a lunch or dinner or a nice evening at this place.
What more to say about this place, everybody in Kolkata knows what Trincas is to Calcutta.
The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, with live music and a wide variety of food options. I tried the North Indian cuisine, and it was delicious! The service was also excellent, and the prices were reasonable.
