Planning to treat yourself to a sumptuous meal this Christmas eve? Or may be a well curated buffet dinner with your friends and family on new year day? Want to avoid the chaos? Perhaps try a day in between? Café Treat, the inhouse restaurant and café of The Pride Plaza Hotel, situated at New Town, is all decked up, with their mouthwatering array of food, all awaiting you to step in. The buffet is huge, and literally is filled up with all the lovely dishes you can dream for. Beginning from fingerlicking starters to satisfying main course and finally finishing up with that wonderful array of desserts, get your dream fulfilled of dining like a King, at Café Treat, courtesy The Pride Plaza Hotel.
This special buffet will commence from the 24th of December, 2019, and will run till the 1st of January, 2020. The special highlight of this buffet will be the unlimited serving of roasted turkey, which will be kept for display as well as consumption in the buffet counter. You can get a free serving of wine pouring, and if you prefer mocktails, an unlimited serving of the latter. The café has been decorated beautifully with Christmas themed robes, and promises of candle light dinner along with live music, the latter being exclusively on the 24th, 25th, 31st of December, 2019 and 1st of January, 2020. The menu for both lunch and dinner has been kept slightly different so as to maintain exclusivity, with the price for both being Rs. 1000 + taxes per person. For lunch, you can start off with Seafood bouillabaisse and Cantonese veg soup before moving on to nonvegetarian starters like Dhuadhar chicken tikka and Country fried fish and/or vegetarian starters on the likes of Rome scow paneer tikka and Sichuan babycorn. For salads, try Ranch deviled egg on crunchy iceberg, Mexican fish salad with tortilla croutons. Christmas chicken terrine, caramelized apple with apricot sauce, Greek pasta salad, Tandoori aloo chana chaat, Carrot kosambari salad, Almond, orange waldorf salad, Chinese broccoli stem salad, Polenta panzanella with sweet chilly dressing, Kidney bean, rice stuffed in baby tomato, Two bean salad, Kimchi pickle, Curd Preparation and/or Plain curd.
For Mezze and dips try Bathenjan moutabal, Hummus, Carrot and cucumber tzatziki, labneh with crispy pita & lavash or boondi raita or even plain curd. Try the likes of Brazilian coconut fish in Continental, Roast Turkey (Accompanied with Cranberry Sauce, bread sauce and giblet sauce) at the Live Counters, (With three types of pastas, sauces olives, zucchini, corn, colored peppers, broccoli, carrots, pesto, baby corn, cheese sauce, tomato basil sauce), Baguette / loaf, Hard rolls /soft rolls, Exotic veg cannelloni at the exotic pasta counters, Pind da murgh and Gosht yakhni at Indian main course section and Kesari paneer pukhtan Dum ki gobi Kofta dil-e-khus Subz tar korma Urlai roast Mushroom makhana Dal muradabadi Subz hyderabadi biryani Plain rice and Indian bread for vegetarian main course section and staples.
If you prefer Asian, try Wok tossed squid in garlic wine sauce, Sichuan chicken, Hakka noodle, Pan fried exotic vegetables before moving straight to the dessert section comprising of Croquembouche, Christmas cake (Plum cake), Christmas pudding with brandy sauce, Saffron Pannacotta (Sugar Free), Fig and champagne mousse, Baba au rhum, Yule log, Sacher torte, Fruit of the forest delight, Spiced apple & Apricot flan, Hot chocolate walnut brownie, Kesari kalakand, Gulab rasmalai, Rosgulla and Misti dohi. For the evening menu, start with Tom Kha Kai (Thai Chicken in Coconut Soup) or Minestrone Genovese soup, along with Peshawari chicken tikka in nonvegetarian starter and Chermoula spiced paneer tikka in vegetarian starter.
