So Finally Visited This Rooftop Cafe... I have been trying to go but couldn’t manage time , so finally did it!
Mind it Due to pandemic they have limited *food options but all types of alcohol/beverages are available*
Ambience- I was literally speechless about it, with such a view , damn , music was good too!
Food- I was disappointed because right now the continental food was not available! Only few food options are available! But their quality is top notch!
And taste was really good!

Overall it was a great experience there, would have been happy if all the food varieties were available. Good service and good place to hangout!

Few days ago we visited their and the view from the restaurant is fantastic and mindblowing. It is a rooftop hotel&restaurant. Their food quality is awesome. And the quantity is also perfect. And they serve alcohol. It is a very soothing place for chilling with friends. Recommended their dishes.

Blue nd beyond is a rooftop resturant at the top of lindsay hotel . I would suggest you all to visit this place at night , it has a beautiful view. Also you can visit in day as it has a lovely ambience out there. A perfect place for candle night dinner/ or with friends,family. They have an amazing menu . Must try drinks nd teriyaki chicken.

1.Blue and beyond spcl mocktail-which touched our heart. It was so refreshing.
2.Kung Pao chicken sizzler - the sizzler was so yummy with a bit of spiciness .
3.Chicken Biryani - Biryani was good with 4 pcs chicken and ALOO.But not that rated.
Stafs were good and friendly but service was slow.
Best for evening hangouts .
They also provide hard drinks .

Blue and Beyonds is my favourite place since college days. One of the oldest rooftop ambience in kolkata. That feel of Esplanade skyline has my heart. Food here is good. Last time we went there we ordered the bhetki fish fingers and dry chilly lamb. We loved the fish fingers a lot.
Went for the first time with friend after intensive searches in the month of February.We ordered crispy chilli baby corn,Mahi Aghani,Lat me kai chicken as Starter.Crispy chilli baby corn was very authentic and served in a huge prawn cracker.First time i have seen baby corn served in this way.Mahi afghani was a fish item,it is soft,very juicy and cooked very well.Lat me kai chicken was also juicy and moderate spicy.For main course we ordered kung pao sizzler.It contains veggies,shredded chicken along with noodles cooked in sauce to make little thick.For dessert we order hot sizzling brownie and a normal brownie with ice cream.Both the items taste very good.Overall the rooftop ambiance and my experience of visiting Blue and beyond is pretty good and the price is standard for the food items we ordered.Also like to note hotel Lindsay is also well decorated.

This is a rooftop restro and bar located opposite to New Market. The view is really nice from here and the place is also beautiful.
Items we tried :
1. Drums of Heaven, it's a semi gravy starter. The spices were quite mouthwatering but the amount of bason flour was too much. Wouldn't recommend.

2. Penne Pasta with Pesto Sauce. The dish was really tasty. The pasta was soft and creamy and the garnishing was really nice.

This place has a beautiful rooftop ambiance for a perfect family dinner or a lunch or dinner date. It overlooks the entire esplanade area and at night it looks even more breathtaking. I have visited the place in daylight too and loved it just as much. The quality of food is not compromised.

Visited this rooftop today with 3 other friends and had a wonderful experience! The rooftop provides an awesome ambience and a really striking view! The service is really good too, I used my Gold advantage on 1+1 food. Now moving on to the food, we ordered for:
1. Chicken a la Grecque Sizzler. It was fairly good, a lot of chicken, very fulfilling & the sauce was yummy.
2. Chicken Lasagna. This one was good too, but definitely could be better.
3. Kung Pao Chicken Sizzler. This was really good and the quantity is very sufficient!
4. Spaghetti with meatballs. The sauce & spaghetti were really good, but the meatballs felt weird.

Situated at the 9th floor, literally it u cn see d entire city😂 rooftop ambience was perfect ,staffs wer courteous enough,managed to serve food within a short span of time,bt wht I personally dint like was the loud music at d background,it was giving a feel as if m sitting in a disco!
They need to update or shall i say bring new plates n cutlery as majority of them wer either crackd or dirty,

I love the rooftop ambience along with the whole Kolkata view in a row. We tried lamb chop sizzler with a Electra cosmopolitan. Lastly we tried their ice-cream brownie with hot chocolate fudge. Everything was just perfect there.

Blue and beyond, located opposite to New Market is a roof top restro cum bar on the 9th floor of the Lindsay Hotel. The place has both inner and outer sitting arrangements. The main USP of the place is the roof top and the view. The place remains crowded mostly in the evening time and the ambience is tempting with soothing music and low light dining.
Items we tried :
1. Drums of Heaven - Though this starter was recommended by them, we didn't find it that much satisfacting. The outer layer was spicy, but it contained a considerable amount of bason flour which ruined the whole taste.
Rating - 3.2/5.
2. Chicken Fettuccine Pasta with Pesto Sauce - The quatity was really good and tastes delicious but I found it a bit oily.
Rating - 4/5.
3. Chicken Lasagna - It was baked well with exotic spices and ample amount of chicken. Loved it.

4. Chicken Penne Pasta with Pesto Sauce - Pesto sauce is our favourite and we attempt to try it whenever possible. The pasta was well tossed in pesto sauce and garnished with bacons and basil leaves. The presentation was really nice and tasted great.

My favorite place.... "The ambiance " i can die for that ambience... Staffs are so so polite and cooperative.. This is the perfect place for have beer and enjoying the cold wind under the sky and the view from The 9th floor..in one side u can see The 42 building, from another side u can see the whole new market area... The food was really really tasty

If it is a romantic date or a chilled day with your friends,rooftops restaurants are now a favorite go to place for everyone. Kolkata has already flooded with some amazing rooftop luxury restaurant but they are quite expensive and if you are looking for some budget friendly restaurant in and around esplande area then this place should be your first pick. They have two separate seating area one is Ac section which is indoor along with the bar top and other one is the outdoor area where you can feel the cool breeze and enjoy awestruck panaromic view of kolkata and a legendary howrah bridge.
I visited this place twice and i completely enjoy a every single moment over there. On our first visit we are landed there for a quick bite along with some drinks. So, ordered 2 Plate of fish and chips along with some beers & cosmopolitan. It was One of the best fish and chips. On our second visit they are running some customized new menu and ordered some white pasta , beers , blue lagoon cocktail and dry chilli chicken for adding some spice to our dinner. Food were as usual great. We liked it a lot. Staffs are well trained and service was decent too. One more thing that they have zomato gold offers as well. so, you should try this place once , you won't regret.

The rooftop is good but not that spacious, it's on the 9th floor so gives a good view of the new market area but not a view to go wow about. An average view of the surroundings. Better to visit this at night so you can enjoy the dinner at an upscale place and under stars. Ok, talking about food, I ordered cheese kurkure in starters which were awesome. 6 pieces of fried cheese sticks shaped as kurkure. The dip given was so awesome. 6 pieces seemed less but there french fries also so it compensated. Then in main course ordered chilli manchurian and noodles which were ok. Nothing special in them. Overall I was satisfied as I used zomato gold. Service was fast. Drinks were costly so we prefered to skip them.
Absolutely great experience. Love to visit the place after sunset next time.
Blue and beyond is located at the ninth floor of hotel lindsay, in new market area, kolkata. With a very gorgeous ambience and the seating area, it is hands down my favourite place to hangout now. While eating, we had the best view in front of us. And the lighting is also very nice once it's evening. The staff were very courteous and helpful to us.
We had ordered a chicken pepper steak priced at Rs.445 and a mutton biriyani priced at Rs. 495. The chicken pepper steak was very juicy and soft and it is the most delicious steak I've ever tried. The veggies were also very fresh and tasty. And the mutton biriyani was very rich in flavour with the correct amount of spices, mutton, egg and the aloo. They also gave us some raita and salad by the side. I would totally recommend to try out these dishes whenever you give a visit to the restaurant.

It's an iconic rooftop restaurant located at New Market area. The place has quite a charm and people will fall in love with the ambience beyond doubt. The service was one of the best regards to the well trained and courteous staffs . Coming to food which were appetizing and delectable. We had Teriyaki chicken in the starters, followed by main course with kung pao chicken sizzler, Lamb chops Normandy, sizzling brownie as dessert. All the items were very well cooked and decorated.

Location is Opposite Simpark mall. On the 9th floor of the building. There are both options of rooftop and A. C. Restaurant due to rainy season we gone for A. C restaurant. Food quality is good and quantity is also good. Staffs are ok but they are not trained . As this is a open roof top the view from the above is quite good. If you are going for a candle light dinner it will charge around 500 extra for that. In 3K you can arrange your own decorated place.
Over all this is a nice place and recommended.

Great place. We have visited other rooftop before though its view is amezing. We have there during puja days to avoid the crowd. What a experience we have. The foods and the ambiance both are too good. We have spent plenty of time and ordered many dishes.
Sweet corn soup is ok (3/5).
Alfredo chicken Pasta (5/5) is finger licking good. Sauce is ver nice. Quantity is enough for one.
Chicken peper steak (3/5) bit salty.
Chichen scallaopini(5/5)
Chicken strogonaf (5/5).
Service is bit slow but it doesn't matters if you r in such a nice place.
The place is awesome but the sizzler quality is not good.. The quantity and cost is ok bt please improve the quality. The desert was just awesome.. the views was nice and the environment was just 😘 and the service was ok. All over happy us😊

It was 20th September 2019.It was my birthday. My wife decided to give me a surprise treat. But didn't expect the surprise would turn out to be the best treat.We ordered sizzler Fish Meuniere in sea food and Chicken A a La Grecque along with drinks and mocktails. Loved the rooftop ambience, the view. The romantic aura that it creates. Very courteous staff. Tasty yet affordable food with variety of drinks. Ideal place for romantic date. A quiet and serene place at the heart of the city. I gave 5 stars because would like to visit again and again.

The ambience is amazing on the rooftop of the Lindsay hotel. The food is good as well. We had a marvelous prawn starter (so tasty and soft) and the best brownie with ice-cream of my life. We were short on time so had to leave a bit early, so will return soon to try out the main courses. The cocktails need a bit of attention I guess, because we had ordered bloody Mary and it was really bad.
Although the rooftop view is worth visiting, the seating arrangement could have been a lot better. The arrangement seems fine for refreshments or snacks but not appropriate for having lunch or dinner. The lighting seems to be a little less, lack of fan or cooling makes it miserable in hot and humid weather. 🥵 The pricing of the food is also slightly on the higher side although the food is very good. 👍

Ambience is pleasant and cozy. Foods and mocktails tasted delectable. However service was little slow. The 360 degree view of the skyline of the metropolis will make you fall in love with the place.
The main attraction of this place is it's rooftop seating. Unfortunately we went on a rainy day and couldn't enjoy it to the fullest but the view was mesmerizing. The Victoria standing in it's beauty right in front of it. Food was good not great. Serving was also above par. The rooftop indoor seating was not clean and AC was not working, so had to sit in the main seating. We ordered 2 Budweiser, Reshmi Kebab (must try), Drumstick, Blue and Beyond special mocktail and Lamb Slizzers. Food came pretty quick. 2400/ for 3

Its on the top floor of the heritage hotel Lindsay. This place gives you an old heritage vibe. Nice, cozy ambience, stunning views from their outdoor rooftop and very cordial staff. Food was good.
Very cozy place. The building structure is old but it goes with the theme. I was expecting something much less impressive but upon the elevator doors opening. I was taken aback. The rooftop was amazing. It had an entire view of the Kolkata Skyline. As a tourist to the city, this was absolutely delightful to look at.
Now for the food and drinks.
The drinks: Loved the cocktails and mocktails. My personal recommendation: Muddy water. They also serve other great mocktails, we also had a kiwi fruit one and it was worth the money.
The food: It's a good place to eat, but it is not anything special. If you want Kolkata food, Blue and Beyond is a solid choice to go to. It has an impressive amount of food item to choose from.
The indoor could've been decorated better but overall, I was very impressed and would definitely come visit again.

Hygienic and quality food. Perfect place for get together with family, friends. The ambience is amazing. However the service is not that upto the mark. Affordable price for the ambience and food they offer. Serves hookah and alcohol too.

Though I visited this place a long back but I would love to review it. I got to know about this place from the nearby app. I absolutely loved everything about this place. The food was great and the ambience was hypnotizing. The decorations on the Rooftop at the 9th floor were mesmerizing and u can spend a lot of time there. It is a perfect place to visit with your friends as well as a perfect place to set up a date. They also offer you a 5 course meal for two for which you need to make a prior reservation from the nearby app. Starting from the starters to the dessert in such a low price. The cocktails were also satisfying especially the Cosmopolitan. The behaviour of the staff was also very polite. My experience was amazing and I strongly recommend this place ❤️
One of the best rooftop restaurants i had ever visited. The ambience was top notch. This place has a unique corridor decorated with the memories of the legends of INDIA. You can have a great photoshoot over there. You should give it a try to hang out with your friends in the breezy air of the evening.
It's a good place for one time visit I would say. The staff behaviour and food is good. But the ambiance is so so. Also they hardly have Your choice of drinks.You will find much better place than this one that too less expensive as well.
Amazing cooks this place has got, I had food for over week here during my Calcutta stay.Amit and Abhijeet Mondal are really outstanding cooks, the food they make with almost zero oil and no trace of chilli yet spicy enough food is a treat. I strongly recommend this place!!
