I ordered food today..Feels like to eat from Royal.very tasty..My order was rumali roti and Mutton chanp..Mutton chanp taste was too good..And rotti was soft ..Yea about the chanp i just want to tell you give more good pieces than bone

Ok. First of all due to the pandemic situation now a days going out in a restaurant is not possible even ordering food via food apps is still very tough decision to take.
Anyway on the occasion of Rakhi Purnima or Raksha Bandhan me and my didi ordered Two Mutton Special Biriyani and Firni from Royal. It did not take that much of time to reach us in our work place. Without doubt both the biriyani and firni are awesome in taste however Being a Bengali Biriyani Lover my soul wanted a piece of Potato in the Biriyani which was not in there.
Anyway except for this tiny Potato incident everything was fine. With regard to contactless delivery and all.

Ordered dinner from here somedays ago through my brother's Zomato. The delivery was on time with good packaging and the delivery executive was maintaining the safety guidelines by wearing masks and using sanitizer.
We ordered:
◆2portions of Mutton biriyani:-The biriyani was quite light without much oil but yes it was little spicy,the muttons in the biriyani was soft and tasted nice.
◆Mutton Chap:This was of minced meat,little oily and spicy but tasted good as I had it after a long time.
◆Chicken Reshmi butter masala:The chicken pieces were of good size but it was quite salty,normally butter masala is not that much salty so couldn't eat this much.
◆Rumali roti:The size was good enough and it was very soft.
I hope they look into the salty thing.

It was a nice atmosphere all around. My suggestion is to try mutton Biryani and mutton chap. They are famous for their briyani. The management system is excellent and they served Fresh and hygiene food to every customer.

Its one of the best place for having a quality time eating with your family or your friends. This place offers a great no of royal dishes. Everything in it is quite hygienic and they dont add extreme level of spices or oils making the dishes not that much bad on your health. Definitely would recommend it and mutton biriyani should be a must have dish in your meal if you visit here.
When it comes to Authentic Awadhi Biryani in Kolkata, Royal India Hotel simply slays every other outlet. The Mutton Biryani with its own unique taste, stands out as the best amongst the whole lot.
Off course the Mutton Chap is quite well prepared as it blends in perfectly with the superior quality of the Biryani. The staff out here is very courteous and are quite prompt with their service. I had a very good experience both while dining here and also for home parcel as well.
As far as any other Biryani outlets are concerned, Royal India still rules and remains as the undisputed ruler in the Biryani and Mughlai cuisine category.

Talking about the Biryani its mouth watering the only problem I've faced is they don't provide Boiled potato with it or else I'm happy with the taste of it.
Then the Mutton Keema,the aroma of the keema makes me have more of it, it has the perfect blend of spices needed to make it tasty enough to satisfy the customer.
Then i would like to talk about the Chicken Tikka Butter Masala, I actually didn't had it their i ordered it online,the quantity is self sufficient for 2 people as it has 7 pieces and that also the size is large enough.
If you want to eat proper Mughlai food then this is the place you should visit or order from.

The big flat pan with chap in charcoal heat welcome you from the road side. You will be surprised when you will enter in the cosy dinning hall after climbing a narrow stairs. The ambiance is good. They have some separate family cabin. Service is ok.
We ordered chiken boti kabab, naan and mutton kima. Naan is soft and well baked, kabab is delicious and the spice in it is mixed in well proportion.
Mutton keema ....ohhoo....though it is little spicy, I must go again for it.
Visiting this restaurant since school days, the taste of mutton chanp still remains the same. Also the Mutton Tikia & Biryani is. Overall I have tasted nearly all their items in the menu, I can recommend to try any. Hope you will be satisfied.

This place has remain unchanged since last 15 years of my visit. I'm quite amazed to see their consistent service and the quality they've maintained. Mutton chap with butter naan is a must try here.
Biryani taste is excellent with perfectly cooked chicken. One humble request for owner to give at least one cooked potato with Biryani (as Biryani price is high enough to add that) . Paneer butter masala was also very tasty. 👌
One of the oldest biriyani house in Kolkata.The food is quite tasty and well-cooked here I ordered special mutton biriyani, mutton chap and rumali rutii. Biriyani's mutton is well-cooked and soft and the rice quantity is also good, too oily. It's price is high.The only con about this restaurant is the space. All over is ok.

Food is so so yummy. Yes you have to be aware that the food will have more oil. The taste and amount is very nice. They have good space as well. You might or might not get a seat because it's a popular place. We ordered mutton Keema and rumali roti. And it was delicious. Also we didn't go through any inconveniences in our stomachs after eating (because we are not habituated of eating spicy food). Also if you're ordering biryani, you should know that you'll get a meatball in place of alu.
The biryani (even without aloo) and mutton chap is love. Galouti kebab is also good but a bit heavy on the stomach. It is on Zakaria street on the 1st floor. Service are really poor. Only food is good, for the reason they are getting good crowd. They must have place insect killer machine. Also 200 ml pepsi they cost 70 rs
The food was good but the service and the atmosphere was terrific. Some time ACs are not working and service 😒.
Food had the great taste, but they use lot of Dalda. As they charged 300 rs for mutton chap, and if you are using dalda only then it is not worthful
I love that the Biryani they give here is a bit different than the other ones you get across Kolkata. The mutton chaap and liver curry are my go to apart from the biryani.

The biriyani was pretty good both taste and aroma wise. The galawati kebab was soo smooth and melted in mouth right away. The Queema on the other hand was a bit average in taste and had lots of bone fragments in it. The shahi Tukda was good tho. Perfect for family visits during occasions.
