Get prepared to be welcomed by traditionally dressed servers, who will seat you by a table laden with a heavy Kansa (gun-metal) thaali with half-a-dozen katoris, which as soon as you settle will be filled in with several Gujarati and Rajasthani delicacies. There’s no limit to the food you can eat here. Be careful though, the staff here will easily coax you into having more ghee than you had planned.
Went there with a gujju friend of mine for it was his treat. It started with Jaljeera/Aampanna drink and then came the famous rajasthani Dalbati Churma, followed by gujrati Karhi, Kali Dal, Meethi Dal and 3/4 varieties of breads and 4/5 types of veg. curries. Then came khichri, pulao etc. In the dessert there were malpua with rabri, gulabjamun, dahibara, bundiya laddu etc. To end the dinner there was a glass of Chhanch.
To summarise it was a rich and sumptuous dinner and that too at a affordable price. The only problem is that it is impossible for one to consume all the varieties, unless one has a big appetite. Also, carnivores like me who dwelve on meat, this felt like a good indulgence.

Rajdhani Thali in Park street is probably the best Rajasthani and Gujarati Thali restaurant in Kolkata. On Tuesdays the Thalis cost 275/- only!! Unlimited food offered to you in the Thali and a lot of varieties as well.

Food is top quality here. From the starters to the desserts everything is delicious and finger licking good.

Service is great, staff is very courteous and ambiance is calming.

Overall an amazing experience ❤️
A must visit.

Since my childhood, i am a big fan of park Street area, just because of food like continental, north indian or Chinese. But this time in my list, this type of food have been added. I never thought that it's gonna be my favourite. As a foodie, i like to taste several types of foods. This place is well known for the rajasthani and gujrati foods only. So I made a plane to go there to have some rajasthani and gujrati foods. Their presentation was so impressive along with the staffs behaviour. Lots of foods they serve in a single thali. Taste was really good and the ambience was also good. Overall my experience was so good. 🙂

One of the best & most hospitable dining place I have come across in the city.

Firstly, being a vegetarian place, its a bit overlooked in the Park Street area among other places. But don't let that dishearten you.

You are greeted in traditional Gujarati style, with friendly faces & all wearing traditional clothes.

They offer clean warm water to wash hands at the table side.

Now lets come to the food.I went to try their on going Swad Kesariya Festival. Its a must enjoy.

The menu of the day contains over 20 dishes -

Bajra Nu Khichu

Ghugra

Dal Baati Churma

Laddoo

Paneer ki Najakat

Aloo Sambhariya

Palak Mangodi

Mini Undhiyoo

Moong Vatana Khandvi

Surti Dal

Dal Palak

Rajasthani Kadhi

Phulka

Puri

Bajra Rotia

Chatpata Gobi Paratha

Jeera Rice

Moongdal Khichdi

Basundi

Beet Halwa

Jalebi with rabdi

Mix salad

Chaanch

Apart from this thali menu, they also have options for drinks,to be ordered separately.I tried their Kesariya Lassi.

It was one of the best.Very thick,& made only from self-made dahi.

Also unlike other restaurants, they welcome the diners to visit their kitchen;which I must say is amazing in cleanliness & very well-managed food stations.

The Chef-in-charge is also very nice,& explained the details of their culinary journey & goals.

Highly recommended to drop a visit & enjoy the dining experience,I guarantee you won't be disappointed on this being a veg only place.

Savour India’s top winter delicacies with Khandani Rajdhani’s Swad Kesariya Festival.!

Talk about creating a visual and aesthetic pleasure while dining, and one of the very first names which come to your mind is ‘Rajdhani’. A national chain, my first encounter with Rajdhani was at Bengaluru, at their Central Mall near Jayanagar. I was simply flabbergasted by their sheer depth in variety as well as quantity while maintaining an utmost simplicity and down to earth flora and fauna. Their grace and kindness give an impression of adhering to the idea of abiding by the mantra ‘Atithi Devo Bhaba’, where guests are considered the ‘King’. When you step inside this outlet at Park Street, you are greeted and welcomed with their hospitality which is then followed by washing of hands. Not only does this impart a positive vibe, but also has a psychological gesture which involves in the cleansing of mind and soul.

Speaking of the cuisine, it mostly reflects the culture of Gujarati and Rajasthani food, unless it is a reflection of a local or national festival. The food is served in beautifully large steel platters, with the servers replenishing the bowls or katoris even before you have a chance to finish them. Each and every individual item is prepared in a beautiful and aesthetic way, displaying a fine variety of taste and flavour. The chefs are handpicked and selected carefully, o as to give in the best of experience to the patrons. We were invited to experience the simplistic grandeur and savour the flavourful food created by their in-house maestros.

Speaking of the thali we were served; words do really fall short. It was simply loaded with multitude of dishes, each having its own shine and aroma, yet looking so simple and lucid. This is ofcourse, not including the various kind of staples which were there as an accompaniment. The dishes on display and the gigantic thali served for tasting purpose, highlighted some of the finest delicacies the country has to offer, all curated and presented to us over the table. The dishes, although had a predominant Gujrati and Rajasthani touch, as mentioned before, some of them and essentially the platter as a whole was a resemblance of the culinary wonderland of entire PAN-India.

We started off with Green Peas Ghugra, a popular fried snack made out of a mixture of mashed green peas, grated coconut, ginger, lime juice and other seasonings, put inside a dough covering and fried till golden brown. Next to come was Bathua ka Muthiya, a steamed lentil dumpling made with lots of greens, Kela Methi Nu Gota, which was ideally fritters with chopped fenugreek. Some of the other appetizers served were Kela Vatana Nu Bhakarwadi and a soft and spongy dhokla made out of coriander and mustard which was named Sarson Aur Palak Dhokla. When it came to saag, be prepared to be pampered with Jamrukh Saag, Haldi Nu Saag, Undhiyo among others.

The simplest of lentil preparations like Desi Chana Kadhi, Mutter Tivar Kadhi or even the Methi Dal will blow your palette with their simplicity. You can pair the dishes with Aloo sambhariya Khichidi, Kaju Gatta Khichidi, Kesar Dryfruit Pulav, or Bajra Rotla with fresh butter and jaggery, Makai Rotla, Methi Thepla or even the Mooli Paratha among staples. If you want dips or chatts to spice your food up, try their Kavta Chutney, Sauth ki Chutney, Hari Lasoon ki Chutney, Mooli Vagharelo, Hara Chana Chaat among many other options. This is before you end up your sumptuous meal with the array of fine and delectable desserts on offering.

Gajar Halwa, Shakarkand Halwa and even the Chunkandar Halwa, all three of them were to die for, with each of them with their individual flavour profiles. The Sauth ki Ladoo was a treat to the tastebuds and so were the Kharma Ladoo and Gundh ki Ladoo. Not to forget the steaming hot Jalebis topped with Rabdi, made with condensed milk. The Swad Kesariya Festival has already commenced from 5th of December, 2019 and will run till the 31st of December, 2019. Priced at Rs. 450 A.I. on weekdays, Rs. 463 A.I. on weekends and at a lucrative price of Rs. 263 A.I. on Tuesdays, this festival is being hosted across all Khandani Rajdhani outlets in India.

The Color of Light knocks its way at Rajdhani with their Diwali Special Thali..!

One of the most popular and sought-after festival in India, Diwali is literally knocking on the door. A festival of lights, prosperity, tranquility, peace and that of symbolizing the victory of the good over the bad, this festival ushers in bundles of joy and oozes out dollops of happiness in all our hearts and mind irrespective of our regional preferences. That being said, this is also a festival to celebrate, be jolly and eat out with your near and dear ones.

Rajdhani, a premier brand and name in this country, has bought forward an extremely well and diligently curated Diwali Menu, to satisfy the tastebuds of its patrons. Some of the basic items remain the same, which is for example Roti, Phulka, Aachar, or even three kinds of chutney, but the surprise comes mostly in the form of the side dishes and the extraordinary sweets to tickle your appetite.

We were invited for a brief foodtasting and even before I entered the place, I knew I was going to get clean bowled by the awesomeness. With a huge thali being kept on the table, then began the serving process. We were asked to cleanse our hands, and then followed the ongoing of three kinds of chutney, Aachar, Pickle, Lemon, Salt, two kinds of Daal (Out of which one was slightly on the spicier side). Paneer Khaman Dhokla was then served, which had a slightly Italian taste to it.

The Dhokla was soft and spongy, and undoubtedly was one of the items which I liked the most. Then came Shikampuri Punjabi Tikki, Raj Kachori, Dry Fruit Bhareli Baati with churma, Bharwan Sambhariya nu Shaak and Green Gujarat. The Tikki was crispy and flavorful, The Raj Kachori tangy and sweet, Bharwan Sambhariya nu Shaak was overloaded with green vegetables along with shaak. Next followed Rajatsthani Kaju Masala, Sangria Paneer, Paneer Anjeer Makhaniya Sabji and Mewari Paneer. Ratlami Sev Kadhi,

Rajasthani Kaju Masala and Mewari Paneer won my heart with their super-light texture and for their contrast in flavors. The Kaju Masala had a thickened gravy, slightly on the oily side, but not oily per se. Special care was taken to make the dish look and taste delicious without the extra intake of oil. The Mewari Paneer had a light texture instead, mostly on the creamy side, and both of them paired well with the butter-clad roti and the paratha.

To end, the desert part proved to be the killer. Mawa Karanjiya could be taken even a dozen together. Built on the shape of Balushahi, this rather had no liquid inside, but was even sweeter, crisp and tastier than the most sought after sweet in the world (if there was one). Then followed the Kaju Katli, Shakarpara and Murukku. The Kaju Katli or the Kaju Barfi as one may call it popularly was again nicely done.

The epitome of Gujarat Murukku, gave a crunchy and crispy end to one of the most memorable meals ever. But then, there was the Chaas or Butter Milk to gulp down if you ever felt thirsty. Personally, I cannot wait any longer to welcome the Diwali and be a part of its celebrations. If you have a similar plan, which I believe you ought to do, take out your friends, relatives or your parents and treat them to something exotic, yet simple and memorable to cherish the pages of history.

NB:- Was invited as a part of the group Panchphoron for a food tasting event to try out some of the newly introduced dishes at Rajdhani, Parkstreet Kolkata Branch.

A new Rajasthani/Gujrati restaurant in Kolkata!

Food :- The food here is nice and I like how there is SO MUCH VARIETY! If you love variety, go to this restaurant since you will love it. However, their parathas are pretty average.

Ambiance :- The Ambiance is the best thing about this restaurant since it's absolutely top-notch and I really liked it! It encapsulated the Rajasthani/Gujrati theme PERFECTLY and I enjoyed every moment of being in this place!

Service :- The service is just as good as the ambiance, if not even better! Very polite and quick service.

Overall, a must try restaurant if you like North Indian food.

So its 30th Nov 2019, and was my mother's bday, we being a typical marwari from Rajasthan, we are very selective of rajasthani food. So for this day we thought of visiting Rajdhani, parkstreet. To start with.. they have a very unique style of welcoming their guests by chandan tika and arati. Once we settled ourselves, they placed a huge thali with 11 katories in front of us and two steel glasses. Then they started serving us the food one after the other. Food tasted so good either it be the super soft and fluffy dhokla, or the khasta kachori, or it be the puran poli which is perfectly filled with mewa or be it the variety of sabjis. Everything tastes so brilliant. So after the sumptuous meal we had the dessert which was halwa and jalebi with rabri. Slowly the crowd filled up the entire place, but what i really liked about this place is even when every table was occupied with customers, they never failed to ask us again and again if we want anything. After our dinner, they suddenly came up with a cute and beautiful halwa cake topped with almonds and pistachios for my mother, let me tell u it was a surprise. My mother felt so special. Also we asked us if we would like to visit their kitchen, and to our satisfaction their kitchen was spotless clean sharing some pictures. It felt a relief that the food we had is so Hygienic.

For me it is surely a must try restaurant if anyone wishes to have veg or authentic rajasthanii food.

Thank you Rajdhani for making my mother's bday so special.
Warm Regards

So, starting with the hospitality, it was really good. We were welcomed warmly and they put chandan as tika on our forehead and offered us Prasad(sweets).

Then talking about the food it was just amazing!!! They serve us almost about 30 varieties of Rajasthani dishes and each of them tasted heavenly. I personally loved the maalpua (pancake served as a dessert) and fruit custard the most!!!! And they would give you as many servings as you want without charging extra.

But the best thing was that today they had an offer for all the people whose name starts with "Anu" would get this thali for absolutely free!!! And fortunately I had this amazingly delicious thali for free!!! They also have many other varieties of thali!!!!

If you want to have authentic food then this is the place to go!!!!

If you are looking for some delicious veg thali, this is the place to be. We went to this place on a weekday i.e. Monday and overall pocket pinch was INR 1030 A.I for two people.
It included the thali cost and INR 65 per head per drink + taxes on those. Not sure if drink was optional or mandatory with thali. The options available for drinks were mango lassi and jaljira water both of which were good.
Now coming to food, it was super delicious. Options are varied and each and every item was well cooked. I loved kadhi the most. The thali was unlimited and the staffs were also very helpful and courteous. Overall the best vegetarian restaurant i have been till date.

This place is located in Park Street with an amazing ambience and beautiful decor. We love the service as well. Staffs are professional and courteous. The thali is sufficient for one. Taste is amazing too. One must surely visit to get a taste of this lip smacking thali.

If you are looking for a deadly combination of Gujarati and Rajasthani food then this is the place. The whole thali was filled with many items. But what I loved about this place was the behaviour of the staff, that was just heart melting, they were so warm and polite. Again one more thing that I have not seen in buffet restaurant or thali type restaurant is they were insisting us to have more just like in wedding.
About the location this place is just 5 minutes walk from Park Street metro gate no 3.
Specially on Tuesday they offer a plate in half the prize that is Rs 275 and the beverage is charged separately.
One should at least try once, you will like it

This restaurant is situated at 5 mins walking distance from park street metro. The thali has quite a number of items and is unlimited. The quality of food is amazing. But what caught my eyes is the behaviour of the staff. I felt as if I was at a wedding as they were looking after the customers so well. They were literally insisting us to have more, which is very rare in buffet or thali themed restaurants. They even customise the dishes according to your taste which is great for the price that you pay. All 5 stars are for their hospitality because I am so touched. I've never seen such high class service in any other restaurants. Now coming to the food, if you are someone who prefers spicy dishes then you might not like every item in the thali but you can definitely ask them to customize and they happily do that wherever possible. The items that I liked the most :
1. Dahi aloo
2. Churma
3. Paneer
4. Aloo paratha
5. Kheer
6. Aam panna (charged separately)
7. Kesar lassi (charged separately)
If you visit on a Tuesday then the price of the thali is Rs. 275+taxes, which is a great deal. Also I suggest you to go between 12:00pm to 1pm for lunch as after that this place gets crowded and you might have to wait to grab a table.

A wonderful experience to cherish for.Located in the heart of Park Street. The price was 452 with unlimited food offer. A special discount of 50% was given for senior citizens. Bring one Id proof to claim that offer. All over the quality of food was great. Loved the mango lassi which was separately charged.

Rajdhanj Thali serves you one of the best thalis in the city. The raw materials used and the quality of the food that is served is too notch. The service is really good. Parking might be an issue at peak hours.

Traditionally best.. the concept of thali takes you back to the good old days and makes you miss home food all the more.. so many varieties of food with such varied flavors acts as a real treat to your tummy and soul.. true to their name this restaurant serves traditional rajasthani and gujarati dishes and is a hearty meal by itself.. priced very moderately according to the quantity this thali takes some real gut to finish off in one go..
One of the vegetarian paradise this restaurant is a must visit spot for all the veggie lovers out there..

The food was awesome, but the hospitality of the staffs are more interesting. They served us with lots of smile and generously. I love the food as it reminds me of many places from North India. The dishes were well arranged and served in a well fashioned way.

If you're a vegetarian, head to this place immediately !
Rajdhani serves khandani north indian veg thali and the spread is humongous! More than 15 items and all unlimited. You would find some authentic rajasthani dishes like daal baati churma, various kinds of halwa, 3 different kinds of daal and various other authentic and unique items. Who knew vegetarian dishes too could have their perks ! During the season of mangoes, the spread becomes all the more delightful, they serve aamras and other mango infused items. On regular days, the variety of desserts would just spoil you ranging from sugary dripping malpuas to rabri and jalebi and more. All this comes with a complimentary glass of chaas. Other beverages are available too but they are chargeable. The hospitality of the staffs is beyond words. They would treat you like you're treated at home, indulging you to take more although you're full and you possibly cannot eat more !
The place is buzzing with a constant crowd of office goers, families and friends. A very warm place with warm courteous staff and great great food. The prices of each unlimited thali is about 500 plus taxes, on Tuesdays, the prices become half. Grab the offer.

Had their Independence day special thali which was priced at RS. 475.
A resplendent Rajasthani affair with pleasant intervention from Gujarat in the form of the Khandvi dish, this thali was flavourful and lipsmacking to say the least. Aside from what you can gather from this picture they also served kichdi, Jeera Rice and Plain Rice.
In the end the Malpoa with Rabri was a dream 😍.

Food in frame ⏩ Work meal box containing 4 small, chapatis, rice, daal, sabzi, papad and pickle.

Taste ⏩ It was not very oily neither spicy. Food was light and tasty. Spices were subtle and balanced. Rice was well cooked and they sent tawa rotis with ghee just like home. Papad was crisp and spicy.

The presentation ⏩ I love this idea of a meal box specially for working people, students or even for those who want a pocket-friendly meal with a good taste.

Cost ⏩ Affordable, and best meal for one.

Ordered crispy jalebi with rabdi along with malpua with rabdi.. The packaging was good.. The jalebi and malpua were also good except the rabdi.. The rabdi was delivered in a very small container that we usually get for a dip.. That was not satisfactory for me.. Also the taste of the rabdi wasn't good.. The texture was grainy not smooth as rabdi should be..
But except that the jalebi and malpua itself is recommended..

Rs 500 approx and that is all you pay for a complete Rajasthani experience. We were served more than 12 items and I cannot even criticise one item on the list. The food was genuinely mouth watering and the place was value for money. The staff were humble and very helpful. The best part about this Restrurant is the food.
