Oly pub got the best steak in a very reasonable rate....their mix grill is a must try,other than that you can also try their chicken ala Kiev..the bar menu also have very cheaper price compared to other restaurants....so do visit the restaurant..

Being an oldest charm place in the buzzing city of Joy, but still bring its customers again and again for its own famous old dish of the place, i.e Chicken Ala Kiev 😋 Whenever you visit the place, you always fall in love with this place due to its every buttery bite of the legendary Chicken Ala kiev. Since many years Even though 'Olypub' has lost some of its former glory, it still attracts a lot of people every day. Officegoers, and collegiate fill this place everyday due to Mid-range pricing of drinks with an ambience to motivate that correct amount of adda with legendary Chicken Ala Kiev and Authentic Beef Steak 🍖 I have been to these place with friends for uncountable number of times since my college days. On one fine afternoon dove to explore every corner of the classic food places in the City of Joy with the foodie friends so I can miss out on this 70-year-old vintage restaurant in Park Street.

▶ Ambience/ Service: Speaking of Ambience, nice!! Classic ambience. Trust me if you are a vintage lover you so going to love this place. One of the few vintage places of Park Street, Kolkata. “Olypub” has been a hub for the collegiate and also office goers due to economical food prices are cheap and average ambience. The restaurant has 2 floors, top floor for the AC and the ground floor for Non-AC. The Waiters and staffs of the place are friendly.

⚜️ Chicken Ala Kiev- One thing that I make sure I should not miss is Olypub’s Chicken Ala Kiev whenever I visit this place. Every buttery bite of Chicken Ala Kiev gives a divine feeling to your taste buds along with the drinks.
⚜️ Beef steak 🍖- The steak was perfectly seasoned & cooked, with perfect accompaniment of mashed potato & peas. This has been my go-to dish in this place.
💰 Pocket pinch: - Pinch for two is ₹ 800 - ₹ 1000 with alcohol for a lovely experience.

The food is amazing. Whenever i have visited the place i have found the staffs to be well mannered. The food quality is very good in that particular price segment and a very affordable place to be in. The crowd is also good enough and so is the food items and once must definitely visit the place.

Food taste is sooo good. We had white rum cocktail nd that was something so so good any boozing lover can expect. Mutton steak was so tasty nd soft . Ambience was nice.
Olypub is quite an old establishment from what I’ve heard from my friends who live in Kolkata. It is definitely a pocket friendly option. You can visit this place for drinks. The food on the other hand isn’t so great. I wouldn’t suggest anything in particular. We ordered a grilled platter and prawn cutlets. The platter was not good. The prawn cutlet was average. They serve everything with boiled veggies. We had a couple of beers. It has a very old Calcutta charm which can be nice for tourists.
We took Chicken Ala Kiev and Fried Fish... The quality of food was good and the taste of the food was upto the mark..
Park Street in Kolkata is foodies' haven. You would be tempted to try all the restaurants and the array of food that they serve.
One such restaurant we always wanted to try was Olypub for the steaks.
We ordered - Beef Steak, Chicken Ala Kiev, Egg and Chips and some good ol' sweet lime soda.
The steak was delicious. Hardly I've had any meat so well done. The sauteed onions on top was a tiny bit too gravyish for my liking, probably to cater to the Indian taste buds.
The Chicken Ala Kiev was literally bathed in butter. Was tasty, but mind you quite heavy. The Egg and Chips was a little too pedestrian.
I took my kid too, and she was absolutely overwhelmed with the strong smell of alcohol. So I would strongly recommend against taking children. The ambience is old Calcutta, the staff lazy and seemed bored.
Go for their steaks is what I would say!

I went there today. This place is famous for Beef Steak. We ordered Beef Steak, Chicken Ala Kiev and Fresh Lime Soda.
The Chicken Ala Kiev was heavenly. The crunchy outer layer is amazing. The inner layer is full of chicken and butter. Highly recommended.
The beef steak was amazing as well. Must try.
Prices are reasonable.

Good food at pocket friendly prices. Also associated with good drinks made my experience worth it. I had Chicken a la Kiev, Mixed grill and Beaf steak. Everything tasted almost perfect. Though the steak felt a little to tough to tear and chew.

This is my and my boy friend's regular hangout place. One of the legendary pubs of kolkata. Serves the best beef steak in town and that's what keeps us going back to the place. Situated at the heart of Park street, this outlet always remains crowded though that does not reduce the charm anyway.
Had tasted other dishes too from the place but this beef steak is what attracts the most with its sheer excellence of taste.

Thank you dear Azmeen for keeping this one legacy of #ParkStreet alive & kicking even today when most of the other so called famous restaurants on that stretch are nothing but a sorry state of affairs with snobbish staff happily pushing them into oblivion with time..

Well, their steak was good but it could be more juicy and soft. The great thing here is cheap liquor, just awesome.
Recently I visited olypub with my friends and I had a wonderful time there. Located conveniently at Park street, this place serves you amazing food at extremely reasonable prices. The liquor available is of different varieties and the prices are reasonable too. You can choose to have a variety of dishes from different cuisines. The Chicken Ala Kiev is a must try dish. I loved the fish and chips too. Loved the overall experience.
Olypub certainly doesn't require any introduction. Located at park Street. It's my second time there. This time we ordered fish finger and chicken ala Kiev. Staffs are courteous. Food is good.
It's not only about pocket friendly, the main reason is the mouth watering food is waiting for you and it will never disappoint you
A very satisfying environment, though loud and chaotic at times when there's rush, else a good zone to hangout with friends. The foods are pretty convincing and the staffs are pretty well trained on drinks. At rush time, it gets tough to get the servers. But overall good. Good Luck ahead.

♦1.Beef Stick- Probably I tried beef properly for the first time. As I am a chicken person not a very big fan of mutton sort of meat teast I didn't like this that much. But I can bet it will be a heavenly experience for the beef lovers.(3/5)
♦2.Fish masala kabab- It was just WOWWW😍. A must must try of olypub. Never had such juicy crispy fish kabab yet. It was pure love ( 4.5/5)
3.Chicken Ala olypub- I ordered this by mistake😣. Actually I wanted to order their chicken ala kiev. Mistakenly i ordered this instead of kiev. I didn't like it. ( 2/5)

Famous for its beef stake. I can't rate it. It is still nostalgia of college days for me. They got almost all brands of drinks available but no cocktail is served here. It has got an old looking interior not like today's trendy bars but that's where it apeals to me. Chicken ala kiev also very good. You can also complete your dinner here with few traditional Chinese dishes. Pricewise it is at per with any moderate park street hotels
This place is one of the oldest pub in Kolkata. Very famous and cheap pub in parkstreet area. Their Chicken Ala kiev is all time fav dish. I am not so buttery person so kinda feeling monotonous to eat cz its so heavy. Then comes the chicken omlet , so yum n tasty. They have variety range of Drinks which are mostly cheapest according to me in area like parkstreet. However, we didnot like the chicken tikka kebab, It was of bittery taste and the mint chutney is so bad that we forgot to take picture of that dish. Overall, I recommend to try here atleast fir once. I visited this place few months back .. it’s a very old & famous one in park street . They have their signature dish like beef steak & chichkn Kiev .. this place is not like posh & well decorated one.. but it’s a cheap pricing place for food & drink.
The place is not good , I don’t like the ambiance here at all . It’s like local place .. the people comes are also weird . Staff behaviour is good but not like very well mannered in the recent cafés & restaurant. You can go when your pocket is almost done.

Visited this iconic pub after a gap of many years. Interiors have changed beyond reccognition and so has the client profile. Staples like mixed grill, beef steak, roast mutton etc are still pretty good and reasonably priced.
The pristine aboriginal pub in Parkstreet area, olypub boasts of its steaks and ala kievs. Supplemented with apposite beverage options like a chilled beer, I sampled the steak which came along with poached egg, mashed potato and peas. Such succulent it was that despite feeling almost full, I ordered one more and gulped that too like a glutton.
A perfect place to hangout with friends and colleagues, I haven't any idea about the first floor, I don't even know what's up there, but the ground floor is very noisy. Not a quiet place, but if you love to eat & drink, and love having fun or catching up with close ones then definitely check in this place!!!

The old world charm is missing now. The food quality is a bit down than before..and now as COVID is over, the routine of pouting drinks over the glass on the table with the overflow can be resumed!
A conventional Park Street bar. Nostalgia and Old world charm loaded with new age service. Service staff could have been a tad better however the two signature dish Chicken Alakiev and Beef Steak didn't disappoint. Alcohol here is probably the cheapest all across Park Street. Good place to spend a couple of hours.
