First look it's a expensive restaurant with huge car parking in 1st floor also. � But normal rate with awesome food. I suggest it's good for a group of 4-6 people. Love this place !

We were actually planning for our X-mass reunion and after so much of dilemma finally we choose to be there in Big Boss.Reason behind choosing this place was simply the quality of food they serve nd that too in a very much affordable range.Well,it was not my first visit in big boss but for my fellow teammates it was and they simply superliked this place.
We were 7 ppl so got a chance to try many of their dishes.Starters,main course both were equally good..specially the Noodle dishes and the ice cream.
This place is quite spacious and neat..found it best suited for family get together or if you've a big gang..prompt service.

🟣Mongolian Chicken which is damn tast and if you're a bit chilly lover not that much but you really like the smell of chilli then definately try this out.
🔵Mixed Thai soupe which is a mixture of each and every veggis and mashrooms chicken and shrimps.

All the items are a bit expensive but quantity was great and Tbh I really love going any resturant near chaina town cuz they serve the best quantity food in this town. A huge place accommodate atlest of 50 peoples in one tower and they have two towers and a huge parking area so no tension for the car peoples.

Tangra is foodie's hub. Those who want to spend less and want to have good quality and quantity chinese food, come here. Being very famous Big Boss serves the best in that area. I am writing this review quite after few years. While being in Kolkata I had been to this place twice and loved experience both the time. The authentic Chinese food were just yummy. Noodles were too good, and especially soups were. Would love to visit again.

Quite old restaurant situated in Tangra with Good food,huge space,decent ambience and polite staffs...what else you are expecting in dine out..one of my favourite places for good Chinese food,it’s has ample space in dining area suitable for big gatherings.Staffs are not very attentive but very polite,they don’t take much time to serve food.The food is undoubtedly tasty.

Visited this place recently. Ordered drums of heaven, mixed noodles, garlic chicken, mixed fried rice. Everything was good, quantity is good according to the price. Ambience is perfect. Alcoholic drinks are available. Nice place for family dining.
Yesterday I and my family went here. The place is cool as well as they served cocktails also. This place is located at China town. It is one of the best place for hangout with friends and family. They also served delicious Chinese items which are not too oily. The behaviour of the staffs were very good as well as they have quick service. It is one of the big Chinese restaurant compared with other in that locality.

After Coffee House, if there should be an official place for get-togethers, well it has to be this restaurant in Tangra named Big Boss. I have been visiting this place since I was a kid. (Extra info- I am the 90s kid) So you can assume how old it is. But each time this restaurant has simply given me happy memories. The place is a large dining hall which in most cases is almost filled. You can enjoy good food and drinks with your friends and family.
The ambience is very positive and may give you a Chinese vibe. The food is quite delicious and the staff is just how you need them.
The quantity and quality of the food have surely decreased considering old times. But you are still going to enjoy it. Recommendations would be Stir Fry Chilli Garlic Mushroom, Lut Me Chicken, Hoisin Chicken, Ma Po Tofu and Hunan Chicken. In desserts, Honey Noodle with Vanilla Ice-cream and Fruity Cocktail with Vanilla Ice-cream are a must.

Quality Chinese food,, family type,great place little cosy
This is a huge restaurant as per the space and compound is concerned. Food quality is very good and amount is more than what we expected. One must try rice noodles.
As its name suggests , this place is really a boss. I liked it's food and it has a huge space to fit in all kinds of crowd. I had food here during Durga puja as well but still they maintained a standard classy taste and quality. I had better Chinese food than this but I would ask whoever is reading this to give a visit with family, friends or with your loved ones.

Very good restaurant. Probably one of the best Chinese restaurants. And really reasonable.
So I have visited this place earlier also. This time I got to seat in a different Hall. This restaurant is massive. They are having a huge car parking also. This is located in China town, near Beijing. Serves finger licking Chinese. I think the price of alcohol is also pretty cheap. And this is a proper family restaurant. The food was decent. In total I enjoyed the place.

Navratri Night. We planned for a dinner and the place's name comes first in my mind i.e., Big Boss. It is situated in Tangra (China Town). From Sealdah railway station, you can avail auto. Authentic Chinese Cuisine, you will get great food with great ambience. In the time of the festival there may be long queues, so be prepared for that. They serve a huge quantity, so keep it in your mind. One can parcel the food if they are unable to eat completely. Once you place an order, after that they start preparation for that food. You will always get hot food. Prices are on the moderate side, but considering the quantity of the food price is fine. One full plate is sufficient to serve 4 people. I hope they continue this service with this quality in future too.

Authentic Indo-Chinese food. Ample parking - a feature that very few places in the area boast about.
Appetizers were more flavorful than the entrees, as is the case in most places. The fried chicken dishes were indistinguishable from each other - crispy fried chicken vs fried chicken in Szchewan sauce vs a third kind. Drums of Heaven were the best of what we ordered. Steamed chicken momos, mixed fried rice, and mixed Hakka noodles were a close second. Golden fried prawns were also pretty tasty with a satisfying crunch. They don’t have a bar - but can serve drinks straight out of a bottle (whiskey, rum, vodka, etc), and are willing to mix things together if you tell them how to (fresh lime soda + vodka).

It is a typical tangra restaurant where the decor is not something you should think about. You should look at the cheap food that tastes good.
Coming to the food - The mixed Thai Soup as well as the chilli pepper prawns are too good and definitely value for money.
The main course was a bit disappointing. The American Chopsuey had a lot of cabbage and didnt taste that great. The Malaysian chicken was just dark soy sauce and the hot garlic chicken didn't quite feel like a properly made dish. The last time we visited we ordered the mixed fried rice and chilli chicken and that was good. So I suggest go for the simplest thing - they will not mess that up

The environment here is very good. And there is no comparison of the food market. As the country of food is more, the test of food is also excellent. There are plenty of seats to sit and eat here. You can also order alcohol here. But Saturday/Sunday is very crowded, so the food takes a little longer to be served. The behavior of the waiters here is also very good. Washroom/toilets are also available here.

This place is for family, couples, friends…this restaurant is spacious with a good sitting arrangement.
First off...love the fact that there is amply parking space. This is a rarily in restaurants in Tangra. Secondly, love the fact that there is a lift to go to the second floor where the restaurant is located! This alone is major plus point for my aged parents who has trouble with stairs.
The restaurant space is huge with plenty of seating. Good menu options, which is at par with the other similar restaurants around.
Food itself is tasty and the portions are big. Loved the Golden Fried prawns here. Great taste, but parents found the food bit oily.
Service is good. The staff is attentive to your needs. Billing took longer than expected for me, but I assume it was a one-off case.
On the whole, it is a place I would return and eat at again.

Taste of the food was amazing as expected but I want to mention about the amount, we were 3 persons and ordered one soup, one starter, one rice and one side dish. It became impossible to finish all of it. One should think about the huge ami before making an order.
Well I have to give a 5 star rating owing to the combination of quality, quantity and great service. The prawns chips went very well with both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Lime soda had the exact pertinent portion of lime, salt, sweetness and soda. Crispy fish was exceptional as appetizer. Main course wise mixed rice noodles/meifoon was a big revelation in terms of quantity and it was equally savory.
