Locaed in the primeloction of sec5 saltlake. This place has wonderful ambience with good decor which totally justifies it's name. We were so warmy wlcomed by the staff there.
Now coming to the main attraction of the place, the WINTER Buffet.
It started with Veg and Non Veg Salads, then Veg and Non Veg soups with soft drinks.
Now the most important part of the buffet were varieties of kebabs.
Now unlike other buffets the main course of this place was as good as the starters.
It was sad coming to the last section of the buffet but I was so full with my stomach but cudnt resist myself from having the desert. Baked Alaska stole my heart.
So wen it ends it was lyk having the perfect buffet at this amount of money, which makes Ocean Grill a must visit. <3

I was here with a group of friends and we tried a number of starters uand liked the most of them.Their food is highly recommended and it is a heaven for seafood lovers.
Situated beside RDB cinemas saltlake, sector 5. Obviously we went for the buffet. Now the famous starters-Chicken tikka kebab, chicken reshmi kebab, fish ajwani, tandoori babycorn - u need it! And also the lamb 3 pride, seafood ball and PRAWN COCKTAIL, which was quite exquisite. A large array of deserts will impress you. So a visit to this place is must for such a delicious experience.❤️

They are well known for their variety of items they provided from table top grill to their Table top grill to their the lavish main courses including the varieties of desserts . There you can get a Oceanic Ambience , as it is a ocean theme based resturant .There you can have 14 types of starters including non veg and veg item .You have to pay extra 99 for the table top grill. The chicken spicy wings , Prawn grill and fish Kabab is mouth watering . Veg starters are also good . Coming to main course they serves Mutton ,Fish , Chicken ,Prwan all most everything you just name it, coming to the. And the main attraction the unlimited crab curry and seafood you can have if you pay extra 149 Rs. After that they serves allmost 7 to 8 kind of starters . Gluab jamun was really good . Rating - 4/5. Cost - 599 (excluding tax)
This place is good when it comes to food and ambience. But the price is a bit high for what you get. Also the staffs here have a bad reputation, though we couldn't complain as they were nice to us. Anyway, as a verdict I'd say you can try this place atleast once in your life.
The Oyster Pan fried fish was excellent! So was the Cantonese fried noodles. The best part was, even though the servers were limited, they were still very friendly, polite and helpful. Great service, good food. Definitely recommend if you are okay with shelling out a bit more for oriental food. Also. They are very careful about sanitization, which included our shoes.

This restaurant was basically seafood themed base restaurant and one of the best buffet in Kolkata.They have a very elaborate menu so I ordered 599/- buffet but only few items were listed in their buffet menu.only five starters, max to max 5 to six main course and only 3 types of dessert.
Food quality was really good. Service is very good,specially the staffs took great care of us.., Specially thanks too u 'Raja' (staff). The staffs are maintain fully proper hygiene.
So I must recommend to all the people. Such a great experience a head too. So u will go and share ur own experience. Highly recommend.

Took up the #DIYchallenge organised by Ocean Grill.
I ordered a Salmon Fillet which came nicely organised in a neat package with the sides. As you can see all the ingredients were labelled and they sent me the process of cooking the dish. The full dish turned out really nice and looked gorgeous.
Presenting to you Grilled Salmon in lemon butter sauce on mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetables in garlic infused butter.

One of the best buffets of Kolkata. I am amazed by the sheer quality of their main course and dessert section specially. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service was extremely good and prompt. The interior was awesome, classy. The staffs took great care of us. and the main thing was there buffet duration which was of four hours unlike barbeque nation. so if you are thinking to go anywhere in this lockdown, go to this place. Help this place. This is a hidden gem.
The security measures are also tight. Thermal gun, sanitising doors, waiters with mask and gloves will give you a sense of comfort.
Throwback to the last place I visited before the misery of COVID befell!
Seafood themed Ocean Grill is known for their amazing buffet spreads. I had a hearty meal with 699/- only along with some additional ala carte orders.
My favourites - Absolutely tender mini beef steak, Aussie bush run shrimps, bacon wrapped chicken (oh bacon, I miss you so much), crumbed calamari, bbq chicken wings and garlic chicken tikka!
Mind you, these are only a few of the so many items we have had!
Oh, and I cannot just not mention the profiteroles. I don’t even know how many I ended up having! 🙈

I'm writing this review based on my experience a year back. Shocked to see that I didn't upload a review! So here I am, writing it out today.
As the name suggested, me and my office colleagues were wondering about some exotic seafood oriented buffet with an exorbitant price (thats what we had heard). And i was amazed!
Buffet started with a complementary soda lime, followed by crispy corn fries, chicken wings, chicken kebabs, fish kebabs, mutton sheek kebabs etc......What amazed me most was we had the chef willingly prepare a calamari dish for us to taste. Me being a food adventure junkie, digged in and totally loved it. After some time they served us a special dish - mourala in mustard sauce. Its an exclusive delicacy of bengali cuisine. Though, availability of this mourala( mola carplet ) fish has become very limited now a days. Naturally, we were overjoyed to have it in a buffet. Keep in mind, I'm not a fish lover, but the starters had me blown!
In main course, crab curry, chicken vindaloo were some uncommon dishes alongwith those regular ones like noodles, pasta, manchurian, chicken, mutton, biryani etc., in main course.
After all these, you won't have much space left to eat dessert. But there were just sooooo many stuff like baked alas,a brownie bits and profiteroles. OMG the profiteroles. They were out of this world. Also they had my favorite anguri gulab jamun. I gobbled up quite a few.
Overall, a must visit place if in the neighbourhood or if you are in Kolkata and want to try out something different than the regular buffets.

So many cocktails, mocktails and hard drinks they serve apart from the buffet. And if you don't want to go with buffet, not to worry, Aà-la-carta is also available there.

If you are a seafood lover, then ocean grill is the place worth visiting for. Located just opposite to the Rdb cinema hall (Sector V). There's this blue soothing ambience with a quite few number of aquariums and everything related to marine life making it quite an unique place.
The dinner buffet costs INR 699 inclusive of mocktails/cocktails/shots. As an add on,They also have an offer of sigree and seafood packages for INR 99 and for bbq and live grill it is INR149.
Coming to the mocktails, they have a wide range of mocktails and cocktails to choose from. Among the mocktails, virgin mojito, green apple mojito and brain freezer were the most refreshing.
Starters-
•Bbq chicken wings-Medium sized chicken wings tossed in barbeque sauce were totally delicious.
•Dahi ke sholay- This is quite an unique one. Totally loved the flavors.
grilled prawns- The prawns were fresh and perfectly grilled.
•Cajun spiced potato- Was never a potato lover. But I loved how flavorful the dish were.
•Mutton shammi kebab- This was my favourite one. The mutton was so soft that it could just melt in your mouth.
•Onion rings- Perfecfly crisped but felt the coating could be a bit thinner.
•Stir fried mourala fish in mustard sauce- Tasted average felt it could be better though.
In the main course there was an array of food items-
Veg-Chilli garlic noodles, stir fried vegetables, exotic veg in hot garlic sauce, steamed rice, palak paneer, dal makhani, macaroni.
Non veg- mixed veg pulao, mutton rogasjosh, lasagna, roasted chicken in rosemary jus.
All the items were desserts good.

` OCEAN GRILL ' from the name you can guess the theme of the restaurant. It is one of the best Sea Food Themed restaurant as well as best buffet in Saltlake Sector V. It is just opposite to RDV cinema hall. It's very near to College more hardly 5-10 minutes walking distance.
I really like the interior decoration. The interior was based on ocean theme. Blue lights were everywhere inside the restaurant. Near the buffet place their was a net hanging with many crabs, shells, starfish.

As the name suggests it’s a seafood themed restaurant and it is one of the best buffet places in the area and known for its amazing buffet spread. The prices are reasonable, and the quality is supreme. If you haven’t tried ocean grill buffet yet, then you must try their buffet once❤️
Being a buffet lover, I am always on the lookout for good buffets. This place got me interested with its widespread buffet menu, so I dropped in with my office colleagues after office to try their delicacies and the beautiful buffet spread.
📍 Location: This place is in 1st Floor of Infinity Benchmark, just opposite to RDB cinemas, Sector V. It is very easy to visible.
▶Ambience/Décor/Service: Speaking of Ambience of the place, it was soothing and warm ambience. As the name suggests the décor of the place is Oceanic décor. The place is beautifully decorated with blue lights and great art of seafoods were used on the walls. The buffet menus were displayed on a boat shaped table. You can find Large aquariums with a variety of colourful fishes. They had a separate bar counter, where you can enjoy both mocktails and cocktails. The sitting arrangement of the place, they can accommodate around 50 to 60 people at go. This oceanic themed restaurant is really good for family gatherings, team meetings for lunch and dinner. Superb oceanic décor and a warm ambience create the perfect peaceful combination. The buffet spread of the place is also quite lavishing. There is a smoking room for the people who need to take a quick smoke. The service of the place is great. The staffs are cordial, well behaved and were very helpful while we were deciding what to order ❤

Along with the regular buffet menu, they have recently introduced 3 additional packages like Seafood package, Sigree package and BBQ & Grill package from where you can choose any one item or all items. Ocean Grill is one of the best buffet in sector 5, Kolkata. It is located just opposite of RDV cinema, 5min walking distance from SDF more/College more. They have huge menu for lunch and dinner.
As you can guess by the title its a sea theme based restaurant. I would they really do justice to their name. At the entrance you will see beautiful aquarium. They have decorated the whole place with blue lighting, there are jellyfish kinda thing hanging from ceiling. They have kept their main courses on the boat shaped table. All of it gives you vive like you're in a ship.

I had lovely experince here. Food is great also their service is good. They have recently added complimentary shots with their buffet menu which will be available from 29th Feb (Only for saturday) which is a great deal. 😋

Ambience : Their theme justifies their brand name Ocean Grill. Its all Blue Lights, amazing art work of seafoods on wall. Full buffet menus has been displayed on a boat shaped table. Ocean Grill is probably one of the oldest sea food restaurant in town. Known for its variety and fresh sea food dishes , no wonder it maintain a healthy rating in Zomato and other food forums.
Location: is just opposite to RDB Cinemas in Sec-5 on the first floor of Infinity Bench mark Building.
Decor- Just from the moment you enter this restaurant, you will feel how much the name "Ocean Grill " justifies the restaurant. Will blue lights interior ,amazing flooring and ceiling work , its totally looks like you are inside a vast ocean.
They have a full time working bar which can serve Hard/cocktails /mock-tails as well.

I had an amazing experience with this bakery! I ordered a customized cake with a desired design with photo. The cake looked exactly like what I had in mind, and the taste was outstanding. I couldn't have been happier with their service and the delicious cake they provided.
We tried a couple of their unique menus. They have quality items with portion quantity. But somehow I was not in awe after coming out from their restaurant. It's just like you know you have had a great lunch but not with the ultimate satisfaction which we all look for.
Very hospitable staff. Nice and ample starter menu in the buffet which you get served on your table. Main course is fine too. Probably they could improve their dessert options but it's not bad though.
Winter carnival buffet was very nice.. Food spread has a lot of variety. Mr. Ali our server was prompt and welcoming and made sure we went back happy. We highly recommend this place specially to the fish lovers. :)

The food was of great taste and covered a wide range of non veg cuisines. The sea food was particularly brilliant and the dessert section was particularly praiseworthy as well.
The service a and management of Mr Ali was as good as the food
Winter buffet was excellent. 50 items to choose from . So many I couldn't eat all honestly..but each one is different from the other. Great service from Mr. Ali. Helpful staff.. will visit again surely.

Located in front of the RDB Cinemas in Sector 5, Ocean Grill is a very huge and a recognizable name. I went there a few days back with a few of my friends and we were treated to with amazing hospitality and grace along with great food.
Ocean Grill serves various cuisines such as Oriental, Asian, Continental and Indian. Along with a variety of food, Ocean Grill also has an open bar serving great cocktails and mocktails.
Ocean Grill has an eye-catching decor and the staff here is very courteous and polite. The best things which I liked here is how with utmost grace and dedication, they plate their dishes. It's really amazing. plating your dishes is also an art.
I have previously been here and tried thejr a-la-carte items but on my latest visit, I have tried out their buffet with the table grills.
All of the food were amazing. The mutton biryani was really delicious along with the EGG preparation, steamed fish in mustard sauce and the veg items were Amazing as well.

Now you can try quality buffet with variety of items only at Ocean Grill, which is located at Salt Lake Sector 5. The ambience of the place was very soothing and have plenty of space to sit and enjoy your food. The taste and the representation of the food items are amazing. They are having soup, starters, biriyani, rice, egg curry, chicken and many more in their buffet menu. Then don't waste your time just come and have some delicious and lipsmacking foods here. Highly recommended.
An amazing place to drop in at. They have a restaurant area and a lounge area and the ambience is based on the sea theme with a shark thing on the wall in the lounge area which I liked alot. Their staffs are very courteous and helpful and the service is excellent. The buffet had a huge variety and I didn't like the fish starter much but the main course was absolutely delicious. Even the chicken, rice and other items in the buffet was good. I liked the chicken wings too. The dessert menu was the best of all. I absolutely loved it. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this place.
