went to have rolls from here. the laccha parata which is used to make the rolls is unique here. it is very soft and the taste is sweet. The chicken pieces used in the rolls are very well garnishes and 5-6 pieces are give inside each roll. i personally like the chicken roll, however egg chicken roll, mutton roll are very common selling items here
Went to Zeeshan after a long time with my family. Delicious food,Reshmi Kabab is a must if you happen to go there. Firni is yum yum yummy... Spacious enough,so won't feel like someone is looking at your plate. Well mannered staff behaviour too. Overall great experience...
I have been a customer to this place since the day it opened... Long back in the 90s a very friendly place to me... And I guarantee u.. the make the Best Chaap in the Town... Even better than Royal (*personal opinion). Biryani was great too.. but recently about 2 yrs their biryani taste has gone wrong.. but still a great place for casual dining... And a good place to tickle ur taste buds if u love mughlai food like me...

Zeeshan is known for their mughlai dishes , especially biryani. Really it's not need to say anything seperately about their biryani. The food is really good. And the prices are affordable. The service is good as well. And it is somewhat hygienic too.

Zeeshan is also a very good restaurant is Park circus area. We visited here with my friends before lockdown. Great portions. Mutton biriyani is great.
I like their biriyani and their food quality. Mutton Biryani and chaap is a must. Their rolls are also different and tasty. the paratha has a tinge of sweetness with a kewra essence flavor which gives it a earthy and umami feel
This restaurant also has a different fanbase for biriyani lovers....Quality of rice they provide is excellent....Even the different mughlai dishes are also awesome

The kebabs are very soft and juicy rich in masala and butter or oil , specially the malai Kebab . Biryani out here is sufficient for two which comes with an egg as well . It’s not that oily nor that dry . Worth it try .
Along with that you must have the tea out here .

Well, has almost a good accommodation. The staffs are Co-operative. The place is little shady. The food as per pricing is good in terms of quality and taste. The Biriyani is also good here.

Both the starters were delicious nd the chicken was marinated well and tasted good.
For main course we ordered for

🔹 Butter naan
We nothing much both the main course. It tasted as it was supposed to be. But I found the chicken bharta different in this place.
It was my first visit to Zeeshan, and now I can say that I've found Tandoori and Biriyani Nirvana. The chicken tandoori was one of the best that I've ever had. There were succulent pieces marinated with a spicy yet not overpowering layer. The best part is that it came without the artificial orangish colour.
We had Laccha Paratha, Mutton Biriyani and Chicken Chaap for the main course. The Paratha was tasty and crunchy without much oil. The biriyani was, obviously, superb. The chaap could be better, as the piece was excessively lean, without much meat.
For the dessert, what else but Firni! And it needs no more validation. So, ending this here :)
the taste of the lacha paratha was awesome. biriyani taste was average as my expectation was more. and firni is my fav dessert and the taste was really good.

It has been so many years but Zeeshan has always stuck to the best quality of food. The staff is very welcoming and courteous. I have been eating biryani from this place since I was a young child. You can rely on quality, quantity, and pocket pinch. The food is very light and doesn't cause any gastroenterological problems. The phirni is also a must have from this place!
They also make Chinese food like noodles, chilli fish, and so on.

Zeeshan used to be a very happening and wonderful eatery when I was younger, that is 7-8 years ago, and was the only one dealing greatly in this area. Situated on the main road, on the right hand side off the 7-point-crossing in Park Circus, Zeeshan specialises in the Mughlai cuisine. The legendary Tangri Kebab has always been a favorite, and so are the others.
It is one of the oldest chains in Kolkata, dating before today's usual other names.
Must visit.
This resturant is in parkcircus. The place is famous for biriyani. I had chicken biriyani here along with a phirnim the biriyani was not that oily. Yet it was not that dry as well. They provide sufficent amount of rice . It was good over all. The price is also comparatively low.

I am a mutton chap fanboy and I suppose they serve the best in town, I literally loved it more than Royal's too. Even the mutton biriyani is exquisite. I would suggest this place over Arsalan as well. Please do keep up the food quality as is.
One of the best places to have kebab and tandoori kind of things. Landed there in puja times and had a great time. Phirni was a must recommendable thing.
I have been in this place many times earlier. As it is situated in very well popular place. This restaurant served best mutton rolls in Kolkata I have tried minimum 30times. And I went for lunch last day. I ordered Chicken Bharta, Kadai Paneer, Laccha Paratha and Steam Rice. The Kadai paneer was dry, it used to be little more gravy. As it was dry it was more oily which I didn't like. The Chicken Bharta was with Breast boneless chicken so it was very chewy. Previously I have tried same place it was made with leg boneless chicken. So I was very disappointed. I have only marked 4stars for the Mutton roll only with I have tried lots of time earlier.

Food :- The food here is very good and I would recommend you to take a Roll if you want to have something small, a Biryani if you want to have something or a Phirni if you want to have something sweet.
Ambiance :- The ambiance is average but I loved the clock that they had on the wall. The room is also full of space.
Service :- The service is good.
Overall, a nice restaurant.

Recently came here, it is located in Park Circus Area. We ordered Chicken Rashmi Kebab and Chicken and Mutton biriyani with Egg. Quality and quantity was fine the pieces of mutton was tender and properly cooked and items were pocket pinch, looking forward to visit again ..
If you are not familiar with this place then my friend you know nothing about food in Kolkata. This outlet near park circus (towards your left while driving from 7 point to quest mall) serves as a combo of restaurant+roll centre. Even if you don't have the time to opt for a proper dine in option, do check out the mouthwatering heavenly rolls of Zeeshan. Trust me it is one of the best places to get rolls in Kolkata. The special egg mutton roll will surely be my favourite and gets a special mention. The bonus for this particular outlet is obviously less crowd (compared to Deshapriya park).
With time this restaurants has becom old school; like me. But that has it's own perks, Like chicken jalfrezi in the menu. Also love mutton chaap and butter naan.
Chicken tikka masala is a must have from here! Yummy boneless deliciousness. And gravy that's like cooked at home! Masala kulcha is awesome too! :)

Recently came here after going through lot other reviews. I ordered mutton biriyani from here. Quantity was ok for one person. Quality of rice was fine and they will serve the biriyani with one piece of egg and one piece of potato. Mutton was soft and properly cooked. This biriyani is not very spicy and do not contain a lot of ghee as compared to Arsalan or Royal. Price for 1 plate of biriyani is 225.
The rating is due to the food they serve. Everytime I go to parkcircus Zeeshan is one of the Hop. Taste is very good. But the cleanliness is not upto the mark. The finger bowl and the wash area and the floor to be kept more clean. Rest all ok.
My all time favourite since childhood. Their narrow private section makes me nostalgic. The biryani and shahi tukda are mind blowing. Everyone should try.

Went to have afternoon lunch. It was not hard to find, just along the road, beside Quest Mall. The ambience was okay-ish. It looked hygienic though, quite well maintained. We ordered Chicken Biryani with Egg, Butter Naan and Chicken Bharta (B/L).
The Chicken Biryani was superb in taste. Just the right amount spice, fresh rice, and the egg and potato were perfectly cooked.
The Butter Naan was smooth and delicious and it went perfectly with Chicken Bharta, both of them being not too spicy.
The price was reasonable, but the quantity of the chicken main courses are less than expected. Would love to go back for more. Recommended to go for a hearty meal with spouse/family.

The taste was mesmerizing! The paratha was crispy and the stuffing was full of onions, chillies, sauces and pieces of chickens. The pieces of chickens were quite large in size and was juicy and soft.

A stalwart of Kolkata mughlaai food. Been there after nearly 25 years and the food was as good as before or maybe even better. A legend. MUST visit if you could ignore the very basic decor and seating arrangements. Service was fantastic along with the food. Portions were big and soul comforting.

Food is of good quality and quantity but nothing unique from other biriyani sellers. Ambience is very casual and average. The upstair sitting area is too low height. The service is also average and quite time taking (except biriyani).
Everyone knows that Biryani is good here.So last time we tried different dishes to explore.We tried rumali roti, tandoori roti, kulcha with shammi kebab and muttun kalia .
The taste was average . Shammi kebab has the raw smell of mutton which i personally don't like that much. Mutton kalia was like generic mangser jhol which is made in every bengali family household ig. the pieces of mutton were also small but according to price it's okeish. Rumali roti and tandoori roti were nice but mixed kulcha was not something which i expected.It tasted just like tandoori roti but with some toppings.
I gave the atmosphere a three because the height of the AC floor was too short.But it was cozy though.
Biryani is good. All items are pocket friendly. Quantity is ok compared to the price. We ordered a Non veg combo( little quantity of biryani rice with 1 aloo, 2 Reshmi Kebab with onions and green chutney, Chicken Bharta and 1 laccha paratha), Chicken biryani, chicken chanp and coke. Non veg combo is a good choice for 1 person. All chicken gravies were really tasty and a perfect combination with laccha paratha. Overall it was a great experience for me.

We tried mutton shami kabab. Very less oil but uncompromised flavours, very delicious. The food was served piping hot. We were full but wanted to try the firni. It was worth it. Authentic taste.
The place was rather surprisingly empty on a Sunday evening. But that wasn't an indicator for their quality of food, which was at par with the "Zeeshan" name. We ordered 1. Chicken Tandoori Full, 2. Mutton Biryani with Egg, 3. Naan, 4. Chicken Tikka Butter Masala. Ghol wasn't available sadly. The service was nice. The place could use a little bit of cleaning and upgrading tbh. There is a non-ac zone and an AC zone.

Pleasantly surprised by the Nihari at Zeeshan hotel near Park Circus. This famed eatery has been drawing flak from its customers over dwindling quality. In fact this eatery wasn't even into our consideration when we planned to venture out early in the morning for Nihari. We had targeted Siraj at Mullick bazar but to our disappointment almost everything on the menu including Nihari was finished by the time we reached there at around 7am.
Just that we dont go back home hungry we choose Zeeshan. We weren't hoping for great meal but the proximity was the only decisive factor.
But oh boy, the restaurant had bowled us over with amazing Nihari, Paya, Istew and Dal Gost. Everything was finger licking good and that made us reconsider our opinion about the quality of food at Zeeshan.
I only hope that today's experience is not one off and they are consistent about it.

This is my favourite place to catch a bite. The kebabs and platters are a delight. A good place to catch up and laugh with friends as well as for a cosy dinner you take your pick. You can either make a quick stop or be seated leisurely to enjoy your food. The morning breakfast, mutton stew, is a must try.
Zeeshan is one restaurant which you can readily go up to and not return disappointed! Kathi Rolls at the very best.
Their Roll menu is just as elaborate as any Park Street Roll Counter and obviously, all you Non Vegetarians will be at bliss by just being here.
Crisp flaky paranthas, with freshly made super succulent paneer filling and some onions and chillis adding to the munching. A drizzle of Ketchup and done! Classical Kolkata Kathi Roll! A hungry stomach can have N number of such rolls! (Who counts the calories anyways?!) I approve of this Kathi Roll at Zeeshan!
And that firni, did make a necessary impression. The texture was just as it should be and served beautifully just as it should be!
The food was awesome & staffs behavior was modest but the upstairs where we were sitting was having a pretty low roof so moving was bit difficult.
