I've always been a fan of Balaram Mullick and Radharaman Mullick's Sweet. They have a variety of amazing sweet collection and all of them tastes heavenly. If you are a Calcuttan you definitely should try their lovely Mishti's once in a lifetime.
Favourite sweet shop in town. I love that they offer sugar free sandesh as well. Their mishti doi, various flavoured sandesh, jol bhora, gur'er roshogolla are some of the must haves. They also have a variety of chocolate sandesh.
An excellent restaurant with some really mouthwatering sweets and savouries.. Also pocket friendly..
The chocolate kalakand and jolbhora Sandesh are my personal favorites.

Obviously a great place to have food anytime you are hungry and crossing this place.I usually go with my family members and friends there.
I have tried Mango souffle sandesh and dahi vada of this place. The dahi vada is really soft and tasty full with flavours. And the sandesh just melts in our mouth. I loved the subtle taste and flavour of mango with each bite. This place is mostly crowded. Other favourites are barfi, rabri, gulab jamun, gondhoraj sandesh and mishti doi.

Who doesn't know about this sweet shop in kolkata? It is one of the oldest establishments here. Place looks great, it is not very much spacious so you should probably take away your snacks. Though you can go at the right time and get the shop free. ordered Kulfi Sandesh and faluda. I would recommend you eating at the moment. They put in different stuffs on the kulfi which gave it a mixture of different flavours. The seviyan on top gives it a good and delicious texture. Yes, you can get good sweets at an affordable price. Service is good. Plenty of people are serving the customers so you don’t have to wait longer to get your snacks. The place is good and they experiment with their snacks. You can get good quality of North Indian Thali at a reasonable price.
For the misti lovers this is the right place to be in...and you will never regret to try out new things ..this is a place to experiment new mistis...😍
I dint think i need to rate legends.mango sou,baked rosogolla,baked mihidana,mango souffle are my favourites.recently I tried their potol dorma,kochuri and chilli paneer and found them nice as well.
This is a perfect place to taste all sweet of this city.
So I tried baked Ras gulla here ( I personally found it too sweet )
This on the other hand Chena Poda is not that sweet, very subtle sweet and it's baked.
If u live in Kolkata and haven't tried out Balaram Mullick yet, u r missing out on something really good .Everytime I have a Mishti craving I end up at this place and it rarely disappoints.Rosomalai,rabri,daab sondesh,choco lava sondesh,baked rosogolla,also the variety of doi- kheer doi ,baked doi the list goes on.The sweetness quotient is on point and quality is beyond compare.Highly recommended.
This Place is a paradise for sweet lovers. Located at a walking distance from ruby hospital towards acropolis mall. This place has a varieties of sweets and snacks to fill your appetite. It has a great collection of flavoured sweets, cadbury sweets and what not. Their is no sitting place, you will have to stand and have your food. The staff service is pretty good. The quality of their sweets is very good and they pay much attention to the fact of using authentic ingredients,even the Sugar they use is different -it is less harmful to the body.

This is the perfect place for gorging on Bengali sweets. Whenever we visit Kolkata, we make sure we visit this place. My all time favorite is Nolen gur mousse and the Baked rosugulla which one cannot have enough of. No matter what time of the day you buy the sweets, it is of utmost quality. We just bought them at 10 pm last night and they were irrestible. Thanks guys!
One of the best sweet shops in Kolkata, they serve a wide array of Bengali sweets along with a lot of contemporary twists. They also have a handful of tasty savouries.
I had their Baked Dahi, Kala Jamun, Radha Ballabi (kachori with sabzi) , Kacha Gola and Chamcham.
Each of these were delicious and will make you want more.
I have taken sweets from here few times in last couple of years. Balaram mullick has a reputation of bringing new types of variations in bengali traditional sweets. They have a large display in this branch and some small tables to eat. I have tried many sweets and the famous Doi too. Good place.
Nice area and can be easily noticeable. A polite area with serviceable features and good personnel. But the services rendered may be said is satisfactory. It's baked rosogolla is nice.

I like the hygiene maintained in the shop. I am also a fan of their attention to quality. They use a certain kind of sugar which harms the body lesser. The ingredients are healthier and the packet of the sweets are made of environment friendly paper.
The sweets here range from good to great. The Daab Sandesh Mousse is good. It's not too sweet which enhances the taste. The Chanapora is one of my personal favourites. The ice cream sandesh is uqite good too.
Must be visited if you're craving good quality sweets.

The rossomallai, rabri, baked sandesh, choco lava sandesh, the list goes on. You cant have enough of them. All taste better than the other. Recommend this place to all my friends to satisfy their sweet tooth craving.

the best thing about this outlet is that how hygienic they are.. according to the taste..the samosa(singara) was quite average..but the baked rasogolla was just very delicious..will visit again

This place is just perfect to satisfy your sweet tooth craving. The sweets, cakes and bhujias available here are simply mouth watering. The price is a bit expensive but it's worth it. The location is supreme, right beside the GST Bhavan. I would love to come here again.

This shop is located at Kasba. This is famous for its variety of sweets especially chocolate sweets.
Earlier we have been familiar with Kolkata Roshogolla and cherished its every bite.But I first came to know about Baked Roshogolla after Balaram Mullick invented it. Its baked and got a smooth creamy texture more like dipped in Kheer. Its such a treat to mouth that I can't explain . So as their Baked Doi and Baked Mihidana.
One of their another iconic item is Aam Doi. Its basically sweet curd with an essence of Mango.Served in small earthen pots , it just makes your day !! Their another must try item is Mango Souffle . Its again very frothy and creamy in texture.
They have a variety of Chocolate Sandesh items. Choco Lava, Choco Bonbon , Choco fudge are among them.
Its not possible to mention every item here but I can assure that not a single item of sweet will disappoint you.
They sell snacks items like Chanachur , Namkins as well.Their Radhaballavi and Sabzi is another wonder.
I think Everyone must pay a visit here. I highly recommend this place to every sweet lover. Good luck.

"Balaram mullick and radharaman mullick" in Kolkata one of the oldest sweet shop. They are mainly famous for their variety of sweets. Last weekend i visit this oitlet. And tried their daab sandesh,misit kolos. Dab sandesh was really aweosme in taste. Flavour was perfect.The service was pretty much on time. Really loved it.
A few varieties of jolbhora sandesh and doi later, I am pretty sure, that this franchise is taking a lead in carrying forward the legacy of sweets from west bengal with a few of its peers to the next level of excellence for the foreseeable decades ahead......
Prices are still reasonable......

Being a bengali I am no different when it comes to sweets & what's better than this outlet. One of the best in class in the city. I specially loved their baked rasugolla. They also have a wide range of snacks. Will suggest to try their sweets at least once.

This place situated opposite Siemens. Bengali sweet is always favorite for me. Mostly we would took parcel from this branch. Staff are good but not helpful. They never guided us properly.

The shop is always full of sweets and people. The price points are on a higher side but they have a wide variety of sweets. Winter time it’s popular for chocolate and jaggery sweets. They constantly innovate.. they have a namkeen section as well. They launched chilli jam and pepper lemon jam.. they have favoured popcorn as well.. the location is on the main road, very easy to locate.. the staff is helpful even the doorman .. 😊

I visit this place very often due to the sweets. Some of their sweets are of good taste and quality but what confuses me is the staff behavior.
A person might have travel the whole globe, might be a very respected person in his field and highly educated or sophisticated person. If that person wanted to be treated very badly, they should come here in person. The staffs will treat you in that way. You might hold top prominent govt or corporate position but these staffs will address you with tui, tor and all. Last year, one of my family member went and the person is not used to such words. He snapped and scolded the staff on their behavior. However, I had to calm down the person on escalating any further. They should provide basic training etiquette on behaviors.
I gave 4 stars for the food and the services staffs behavior would be in negative.
Excellent products , polite and fast service. Presentation good and containers are pressure sealed. Only the guy in the cash counter never smiled and looked uninterested in the customer and more involved with the money. Maybe he has been instructed and trained that way. However, I have seen people in the west handling far more money, but at the same time equally interested in the customer. Bengal is an eccentric place anyway.

Now comings to the taste mostly the variety of sweets are very gud but I have not tried yet all the item as my favourite items are baked rossogolla and aam doi both are just amazing.

One of the Best Sweet Shop in kolkata. Various sweets as well as Something Fusion sweets are also available. Seasonal products ( sitaphal Sweets) or Mango Doi n Mousse are too good. Baked Rosogolla, Chocolate Sandesh are new item .
Been to many sweet shops. This is the best mishtir dokan in Calcutta hands down. Huge variety to choose from, savouries and snacks too. The people working there are too nice and patient inspite of customers driving them crazy with their demands. Sweets are expensive no doubt but it's all worth it. They even serve veg chowmein and cakes these days. They are all good.

They have every kind of sweet you can dream of, I spent 1 hour here and tried every sweet they have to offer from mango gelato, to normal rasogollas, baked rosogollas, baked doi, aam doi, mishti doi, baked bundi, ras malai, rabri, etc
They also have great dhokla and chops served with mustard sauce aka kasundi.
They have tin packed rosogollas that you can take anywhere , I would suggest you try all kinds of sondesh too.
