This is what I had there:
- fish kasundi (as a starter)
-luchi
-chingri polao
-alur dom
-mutton kasha
Every dish was lip smacking, specially polao n mutton combo was great. My favourite was luchi with mutton kasha. It made my day happier and my tum
It was a good experience.. The flavour of each dish was good and flavourful…
Service was good..
But cleanliness is not that good which is very important for the restaurant to keep the place clean and hygiene.. Washroom and the tables need cleaning..
And the MAIDA PARATHA is too oily to handle..

It was a good food experience! Going to a Bengali restaurant and having only veg... I was a bit sceptical...but surprisingly I had quite a few options. I chose to have the shukto mini thali where together with shukto they serve rice, Sona moong dal and jhuri alu bhaja, I also ordered separately dhok
We tried several of their thalis and except Shorshe Pabda the rest were great choices.
Our order for Lime soda sweet was mixed up for Shikanji, but this faux pa was redeemed with original nolen gur Ice Cream for desert.
Service was fast. Place could use little better up keep in wash basin area.
The atmosphere is decent. The food items were great. Specially, the mutton was heavenly. We visited on an occasion. So there was rush and most of the items were not available including thalis. That was a disappointment. Servicing and management was slow and can be improved. But the cook and food des
Visited on a Monday evening.
Restaurant was mostly empty. Only one other customer was seated.
Atmosphere is average with algae green upholstery and brick theme wall lining in interiors with life size creatives.
We were guided by the waiter on selection of dishes.
We ordered Bhetki Paturi, Shorshe
Very authentic and tasty Bengali dishes.
I tried mutton thali mini which was superb. For starter I tried fish cutlet. I would certainly recommend this restaurant. Moreover extra points for the ambience.
The food is delicious if you like authentic Bengali cuisine. Try kachu patha chingri, fish fry, chicken gandhoraj, mutton kasha, basanti polao, sarse ilish, chutney. Also the nolen gurer icecream. However if you visit during peak hours, be prepared to wait.
One of the best authentic Bengali food joint in Kolkata.
A must visit if you want to try Bengali cusine.
Went there to celebrate an occasion with family, ambience and staff are great and very friendly. Food was one of the best authentic Bengali food I ever had in any restaurant. I had Chicken dakbunglow, Prawn malai curry and Dhakai dum pulao. Loved the taste. And on top of that the price of the food i
Delicious authentic Bengali food, though a bit high priced.
Lovely deserts as well.
Had tried out their Bhetki Paturi Thali, Katla Thali and Fish Fry. Both the thalis were delicious and satisfying. Fish Fry was also up to the mark. This restaurant is definitely worth visiting. Will make plans to come back here again. ♥️
I liked it very much. The food was very good. And the atmosphere inside was amazing. The thali combo is the best.
Amazing flavourful food especially khochopatha chingri bhappa😍.... I can visit this place again and again for these kind of food❤️
A very famous place for Bengali cuisine, you should definitely try it.
But I had a mixed review about their food.
We ordered prawn cutlet, katla kalia mini thali and Mutton kosha bhoj. Now coming to the first one, I didn't get any flavour. Prawns were not marinated properly. Mutton wasn't properly c
