Pocket friendly for students, their price is good and according to the price food quality is good. I didn't say extraordinary to have. But decent quality. I went there before lockdown and I was enjoy it. If someone look for ambience then I say no. If you are in Dhakuria lake and searching for a decent quality of food with reasonable price, then I say it's the place opposite of Dhakuria lake main gate.

We were a bit hungry and decided to check out this place. We've ordered,
Chicken Thukpa : The quantity is huge and even if you're super hungry it's gonna fill your tummy for sure. Not much of oil, so if you're health conscious you can give it a try.
Mixed Meifoon : Loved it. Looks a lot like the mixed chowmin with a fancy name. There was sufficient amount of prawns, chicken and eggs visible in the dish. Tasted lovely. Recommended.
The seating and interior can be improved a little. Apart from that everything else was fine.
This used to be one of my favourite places. They have ac now. Foods are quite good at reasonable price

Grub Club is located in Golpark area. The location is very prominent, presisely opposite to Ramkrishna Mission, Golpark.
This place is a major hit among the collage-goers, owing to its low pocket pinch.
The restaurant has no fancy decor, just simple tables and chairs. But, everything was quite neat and clean.
We had to place the order at the counter and pay the bill before we were served at our table.
We ordered the Chicken Lasagne.
The quality and the quantity both impressed me. Layers of chicken and cheese between the sheets of pasta and topped with more cheese before baking in the oven. It was totally value for money. I will love to revisit soon to try out the other items.

The quality and quantity of the food is good. I have been a frequent visitor to this place during my college days. I absolutely love their pan-fried momos. Ambience is ok. Service is good. The staffs are courteous. A nice joint to spend some quality time with your friends over some delicious preparations without burning a hole in your pocket.

A college goers' paradise. It is a nostalgic little place right at a little distance off the golpark crossing. The food remains student friendly though it's a family retreat too for many. It has a happy vibe to it and the variant cuisines are all grub club stylised to replenish the bong foodlust.

Grub club has always been coming on rescue for its affordable, great quality food and i feel guilty for not writing its review even after umpteenth visits.
There are a few restaurants which have managed to maintain the quality and the price even after gaining much hype and clearly Grub Club is one of them.
Now, they also have air conditioned interior so eating is all the more fun now.
My favourite hands down has to be their
1) succulent momos
2) fried rice
3) crispy konjee lamb which is a must try
4) pepper chicken which is again highly recommended
5) chilli chicken
6) gravy chows and lastly their 7) soups and 8) sundaes.
Their sundaes are simple yet delicious.
Dont want to comment on their new menu comprising of lasagnes and steak as haven't tried yet.
But their chinese is definitely a must, must try.

Ever since i was in school and in college evrytym i did not have much money, yet a lott of craving for chinese, i visited this place... although during the summers its lyk a hell to be in such a place.. but its ohk to have good chinese food at such a Reasonable price....the dessert counter which is outside the restaurant is lyk a cherry on the cake😁

The place is good to end up at when you are hungry. Staff is good, food is nice and spacious as well. We ordered 2plates mixed rice noodles for first time from “The Grub Club” and yes it was tasty. Its located at golpark and is easy to locate as well. I would recommend it happily to everyone here.
Yes,it's a five star from my side cause i thoroughly enjoyed the food here. They serve quality food,and the price is quite budget friendly. This place is quite popular for the college students as it's possible to have good food from fancy restaurant everytime. Ambience is decent.
I had combo meals.
One is chicken combo with fired rice and chilli Manchurian.
And one is fish combo (ahh...that's for me cause am a fish lover) with fried rice and fish manchurian.
And the day I went their some free offer was going on with every combo meals any cold drinks 500ml is free.

This is one place which is always on the list.. Whatever be the occasion.. Nice eatery around golpark.. Many options to choose from north indian to chinese.. Coolers and shakes are also available..

The Grub Club has been one of my go to places for years. It is pocket friendly, it has a lot of variety and it was always work out.
Speaking of place, the place is spacious but always crowded so it does feel cramped. In terms of decor, there isn't much going on but that's not the point, the point is that works. Service is probably one of the better things about the place, it is coordinated, timely and often accurate.
Coming to Food, I've always loved what I had here, minus one of two exceptions which is mostly due to a miss in the execution but apart from that, most dishes have been great here so far.
Recommendations would be their Crispy Chicken, Lasagne, Chicken Noodles, Thai Platter and Chilli Chicken.

Me and my friends made a sudden plan to visit this place for lunch. We were short on some bucks as it was the end of the month. So we decided to try out this place as we had heard that this restaurant was cheap. Google maps will help you to reach to the restaurant without hassle. There is nothing fancy about it's appearance. It is quite open and spacious. The stuff were decent. We ordered a bowl of Mixed Chowmein, a bowl of Mixed Fried Rice and another bowl of Chicken and Egg Fried Rice. There were six of us. Three side dishes of Schezwan Chicken, Shanghai Chicken and Chicken with Mandarin Style was ordered. Service was quick. Food was good as well. We did not have any issues with the food really. But the Chicken with Mandarin Style didn't inspire our taste buds. Overall it was a good experience and yes the place is really cheap with good enough food. If you are struggling with cash but have a date this place might just save your purse. All the best to the management. Hope to visit again soon.

Grub club is such a great place to hang out with your friends and its great for a quick bite. This is a non Ac restaurant but serves good food. Not really preferable at summer. But good enough! You can give it a try. It will not disappoint you.

This is a pocket friendly place offering good quality Chinese food.
I had ordered the Non-Veg Chinese Combo with wontons. The wontons wrappers were thin and crispy. And the Chicken Fried Rice had ample pieces of diced chicken. The Chilly Chicken was the typical Chilly Chicken available in any decent Chinese establishment.
They had packed the food in proper containers.
Since I had opted for takeaway,I cannot comment about the ambiance.

If You Want to have great food at normal price, visit here. The ambience might be normal and without AC but the food taste will surely make ur soul happy. The fish fry is such beautiful here, had a lot of times and also the mixed fried rice is good too. The Chinese chicken tastes normal. But other than that, everything is well and good.
This place is old and perfect for hanging out with friends. You choose what you want to devour at the counter, pay for it and the food's going to be there in a short while. A fine set off options of fast food dishes to choose from. And fresh juice too!

This is a place near golpark crossing which is probably the birthday treat place for a lot of college goers nearby, their food is particularly inexpensive and mostly worth the money. It's also food haven for doctors going for pg coaching in dams nearby.
We used to always sneak out for their honey chicken lollipops and the steamed momos. A relatively bland soup somehow made sense with this order.
Their crispy conjee lamb is delicious and the texture deserves a shout out. Had the chilly basil prawn once and it was quite alright. The quality of the fish in the fish and chips and other items is alright. Its not the premium bhetki but its unfair to expect at this price.
They do have a small continental menu some of which is decent and a sandwich section which I've never tried. It's not on the Zomato menu
Another favorite since ages😍 Have tried mostly all the dishes from this joint and must say have never been disappointed, be it Momo , Chinese combo, italian dishes, deserts , everything makes me happy.
The food here is absolutely amazing. Nothing less than unadulterated love. Their sweet corn soup is rich in flavours and is worth the value. Their chicken in oystersauce is to die for. This place is all about value for money
When you are super hungry and dying to have something spicy but you are too lazy to go out then Chicken Schezwan Hakka Noodles can be the best option for you !! Pocket friendly menu is a plus point for this place. The quality and quantity they offer is pretty heavenly.
The other recommend dishes would be Momo's be it Steamed , fried or pan fried.

Being one of the oldest and renowned joint for snacks and chinese items it doesn't need any feedback. We had Chicken Wanton Soup and Teriyaki chicken, both of them were nice. But the quantity of the Teriyaki chicken was a bit on lesser side depending on the price.
If you are on a budget for indo-Chinese food, this place is very good to dine in. The ambiance and feel might not be very sophisticated, but the food is good.
The Grub Club strikes the perfect balance with its affordable prices and exceptional food quality. While the ambience is very simple, the generous portions make it a value-packed dining choice.

The USP of this restaurant is the quality and quantity of the foods they serve...with no pressure on your pocket...honestly we enjoyed their Chinese Menu and the starters they have with no pinch on our pocket even on these days. Another amazing thing of The Grub Club is that the taste of their foods has remain unchanged over the years..maintaining the brand and the legacy of serving quality food with no compromise on quantity. Mixed F.Rice (8/10): Very good quality. Rice was well cooked, had am authentic aroma. Decent amount of chicken, egg, prawns in the rice, tastes very good.
Chilli Chicken (7/10) : 4 pcs in a half plate, enough for 2 people and also has enough gravy. Decent sized chicken with thin coating, which we loved. It was decent in taste, make sure to convey, how spicy you want, to the waiter.
Ambience (8/10): This is not a fine dining restaurant, but a normal eatery and as per it's type, this place has a good ambience.
Service can be improved a bit, as most staffs are aged
I still vividly remember the times when this place opened back in the late 90s.
Visited it after 2 and a half decades. The ambience has changed from it being an open air Chinese outlet to an air conditioned one but the food is still as good as it used to be back in the days.

Have been going to this place since I was a little kid. Have seen this place literally rising,from having seats under four huge umbrellas till today when it's an ac restaurant! The only reason why we loved coming here has always been the authentic Chinese taste,the quantity and the good pricing. But yes on my last visit I was left a bit disappointed as I did not get that taste,we ordered simple Gravy Noodles, Fried rice with 2 side dishes , Chilli garlic lamb and Sweet and sour chicken. But both the noodles and the rice did not taste good as it used to be, the noodles had a very strong flavour if cabbage! The vegetables were cut in different style,basically chopped up,the gravy was extremely runny! The fried rice was better than the noodles though,but not like before. Both the side dishes were good,the chicken had 1 or 2 tough pieces but taste and overall was good. Lamb was too good. Good food,extremely casual ambiance and quite pocket friendly pricing makes it quite attractive for young crowds specially. My only request to the owner would be that take a look into the taste of the food ,and guide your chef's to bring back that old taste that we used to get here.
