This place is always my favorite. I often come here to enjoy their delicious dishes. This place is also near to my house. Their mocktails are nice. I mostly love their fish fingers and fish fries. This is actually lip smacking.
I may be about 5 years late in writing this review but better late than never. I was hoping to find all the pics of the food but it's been years. Once I get them I will upload them, till then a written review would suffice.
Chicken boti masala and cheese stuffed naan were ordered. After the incredibly well balanced succulent chicken kebabs I didn't expect anything else to rival it's flavor. I was immediately proved wrong when I dug into the chicken boti masala. It was so damn good. The service and the ambience is of course a class apart. Gives off a royal vibe. Lazeez has stood the test of time, I have seen this restaurant ever since I was a kid. Had always wanted to eat there after trying out their biriyani and stuffed bell peppers. But I don't think a decade old review will justify zomato's objective, after all this isn't a food blog. So, I will end this here with the promise of uploading the old pics and visiting this place again in the near future.
The ambiance was really good. An environment friendly type of ambiance where you shouldn't be afraid of taking your children or family at. The service however was a bit slow. I loved the box of mouth-freshner / toothpicks-really extraordinary and extravagant- the noodles were properly cooked. Everything else was tasty. The 3 stars goes to everything else and the 2 stars subtracted because of the service. Otherwise everything was proper.
The ambience is really very cool. I ordered chicken bharta, chicken tikka masala, paneer butter masala and butter naan. I liked chicken tikka masala more than the bharta. But, bharta was also good.
The thing I didn't like was the quantity they served. It was not satisfying at all.

This was the college hanging out area. This is one of the old yet elegant restaurants in this part of the city. The food id lip smacking and the experience is memorable. The well suited team makes you feel good and the new face lift has made things better. Do check it out!!
Located in Elgin, the place has a nice decor and some delicious food! Had ordered Mutton Pulao and Chicken Kassa which was yum! The staffs are very friendly and the service was also prompt!
We had ordered chicken wanton, mixed noodles and sweet n sour chicken. Chicken wanton was an absolute delight as the amount of crisp on the outside was perfectly proportioned with the soft fillings of chicken inside, this menu deserves a 4.5 out of 5... The noodles was more or less good, but nothing special.. I would give it a 3..( Good enough at a reasonable price) .. But the sweet n sour chicken was not upto the mark . The tangy taste was over the top and the chicken was a bit stiff..( 2 out of 5).. But I must mention the service of the restaurant, which was pretty impressive. Even though the place was too much crowded, our food was not at all delayed and delivered quite on time. Overall my experience was not bad.. So I would give it a 3.5, mainly for the chicken wanton.

The place is situated at Elgin more near Rabindrasadan metro station. Been there many times. They provide good Chinese along with plenty of beer brand collection, so you will not be heartbroken if you are a beer lover. Overall a nice calm space with a good service at moderate cost

It was the last day of our graduation examination. we decided to end the day with some delectable mughlai dishes from lazeez. The food quantity as well as quality were both very pleasing.The ambience too was very appealing. We had chicken pulao and chicken boti kabab. Both were equally delectable. For college students, the price is a bit high. Otherwise, everything was praiseworthy.
We always enjoyed here, staffs are well behaved, we ordered fish tikka, mutton roghan josh and paneer kulcha. Tikka is among the best. Don't try tutti fruti, previously they used to provide fresh fruits but now it's like they are providing you the preserved fruits.

I went there with two of my friends. The Ambience was nice. Stuff behavior and service were commendable.We had Chicken Fried Rice, Egg Hakka Noodles, Hot Garlic Chicken and Tooti Fruity Ice cream. The food's taste were fine. Quantity was not so much but it's ok. I loved the hot garlic chicken. Overall not disappointing.

Lazeez situated in Elgin Road is 5 mins. walking from Rabindra Sadan metro. This is a lovely place to dine out with your friends and family. We ordered Chicken Tandoori as starter and it was cooked amazingly. This is a place which serves different types of mocktails and drinks at the same time. We ordered mojito and the taste was amazing and finally chicken steak. It was cooked beautifully and the taste was amazing. All the dishes in Lazeez are good and pocket friendly at the same time. You can taste them and you will not be disappointed.
Beautiful decor, decent ambience , courteous staff and amazing food forced me to give it a 4.5 rating. The menu isn't there and I don't remember the exact names of the dishes we ordered , so can't write in detail. We ordered Chinese and it was just perfect. We were 5 and the bill was almost 2000 (food bill) and 1000 for drinks so it's not a 500 for two restaurant but definitely it's worth the price.

What I love about this place is it's more than just a restaurant to me. It's childhood as I have been coming to this place since 1999 when I was a toddler cum child. This place constantly pulls me back, with its classical aura of a perfect diner outlet. They have maintained their fish and meat standard well enough so it's absolutely worth trying if you haven't tried it yet. Lazeez is a true second home for foodies.

This place has got it own old Kolkata charm, good for family dineout, food is ok, tried chicken lollypop, dry chilly chicken and mutton boti kebab, everything taste ok, service can be improved as few waiters are not that well trained, ambience is quite comfortable only the air-condition can be improved a bit. overall a good place I would say with a good location in the heart of the city.
Went there for Continental food. We had Chicken stake and roasted chicken, some alcohol also. Foods was good. Good ambience. Though I think they can improve their hospitality a bit.

It's in a prime location which is always a bonus, not very far from Rabindra Sadan metro and easy to find. The place is really spacious and comfortable, with full bar available. Ambiance is good. We ordered the following :

2. Mutton Nawabi
3. Garlic Naan
4. Fresh Lime Soda
The salad had extremely humble amounts of chicken shreds, not that it didn't taste good but I just felt the "chicken" was merely for namesake. Other than that everything was satisfactory. You might wanna check this place out if you happen to be near Elgin road.

Some dishes which are recommended are Crispy chicken, chicken lollypop, lazeez special fried rice, Kabuli naan, Butter nun, chicken tikka butter masala, mutton boti masala etc. In pictures showing Crispy chicken, butter nun, kabuli nun, chicken tikka butter masala. Last week we had these dishes. Each of them were made perfectly. Love to visit this place.
We have been to Lazeez on Elgin road for years,the place is always packed and has alot of waiting on the weekend.The place is very pocket friendly and the Indian food is yummy.We usually order tandoori chicken,golden bhetki fish,chicken bharta,Paneer butter masala,chicken boti masala and the navratan pulao.The tutti friuty ice cream is yummy and to kill for😋

I ordered 1 beer & 2 large whiskey along with pan fried chilly fish & bhetki fry with tartare sauce .

Lazeez is one of the best places to eat in Elgin. The ambience is just perfect! Those dim lights are a big positive for a perfect lunch or dinner. The service is good, the waiters are very polite. The quality of food is also good. Ordered Veg. Hakka Noodles and Chilli Paneer. Both tasted good.

Located on the crossing of Elgin road is a easy to locate restaurant. Recently they went under renovation.. they serve some pretty tasty dishes.. though they don't serve anything extraordinary dishes.. but the quality and quantity of the food served are enough to satisfy a hungry appetite.
Visited this place just a week ago. It's located at the first right after PC Chandra Elgin Road. Well decorated, nice cozy ambience. We were a group of 5 and we were happy with service they provided. Each and every food was good in taste and fresh. It's a bar cum restaurant but can be easily treated as family restaurant. We ordered Crispy Chicken , Chicken lollipop in starters.Both the item was juicy and toothsome. In main course we ordered Tandoori roti, Kulcha, Paneer polau, Mutton Nawabi, Mutton Shahi Pasinda, Murg Achari. All were palatable. For Mocktail go for there mango milkshake. Overall a nice experience and will surely visit again.

A very popular place. Been here innumerable times for birthday parties and get togethers.
The decor is posh and comfy with dim lighting huge sofas and big hallways.
Food is delicious. Must haves are the chicken reshmi butter masala and all such things. I really love the baby onions dipped in vinegar. This place isn't overpriced at all.

The ambience and the behaviour of the staff make one relaxed. There is no hurry. One can take enough time to select the dishes to order. But they do not take long to serve. This place had a great balance between good food, average service, and convenient parking. However, the ambiance of the restaurant could have been improved by adding more lighting, especially for those who want to take pictures.
Let's start with the food, the dishes were amazing, and I must say we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The flavors were spot on, and the dishes were well presented. The menu had a wide variety of options to choose from, and the prices were quite reasonable for the quality of food that was served. We ordered - Chicken Reshmi Kebab, White Mischief large, Absolute small, Sprite, Butter Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chocolate Ice Cream.
Moving on to the service, I would say it was okay. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, but they could have been a bit more proactive in refilling water, and making sure everything was alright with our meal.
The restaurant had its own parking lot, which was very convenient for us. It saved us the hassle of finding a spot to park on the busy streets outside, and we were able to park easily.
However, the one downside to the restaurant was the lighting. The place was a bit too dimly lit, making it a little difficult to take good pictures of the food or the ambiance. Adding more lighting could have really improved the ambiance and made it more comfortable for diners.
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for its great food, convenient parking, and affordable prices. While the service could be improved, the overall experience was still good. If they could improve the lighting, it would definitely make it a perfect spot for a night out.
This was our first meal in Kolkata and it was excellent in every regard. The staff was very helpful and spoke English (limited). They adjusted the spice level as requested.
