The taste and quantity of the food is very satisfying.
The ambience is a bit noisy. As large groups from school, colleges come, the place becomes loud. It's not a place where you can have first time date or special meeting with colleague.
Anyway if you are searching for a cheap pocket friendly restaurant for your birthday treat, tandoor house is the best place for it.
Staffs are not bad. Sometimes serving is a bit late,and I totally understand that it's because of high demand.
Overall I love the place, as I'm a college student, I can't afford big places 🥺
Tandoor house is a great place for college or school going students who has a budget problem. They serve a very good portion of food in a very reasonable price range. There are many good combos and you will be stuffed and still have it under budget after having a meal here.

1.CHICKEN MAHARAJA (Rs.240)
This is a perfect Indian dish to relish.Whole Chicken cut into Four big succulent pieces cooked in a rich thick gravy with ideal balance of Indian spices served with a boiled egg cut into half along with fresh salad and a bowl of flavoured long grain rice.
2.📍CHICKEN BIRIYANI COMBO
Chicken biriyani with one big Potato, boiled egg and chicken is acommpanied with Two pieces of chicken kabab and one piece of Chicken Butter Masala (rich gravy).
Such a overwhelming combo offered at Rs.135 only.
3.CHICKEN SIZZLER (Rs.200)
Sizzling Chicken steak placed over a bed of lettuce and shredded cabbage with a light saucy gravy along with some sauted veggies and a sunny-side-up beautifully topped on it served on a stone hot plate kept on a wooden base creating that smoky affair.This tempting dish is plated along with buttered rice or bread toast.
Best pocket friendly restaurant with great variety of affordable combos. Recommend for college and school students. My favorite is Badshahi chicken pulao combo.
I have heard many times about the biriyani combo and also the chelo kabab😋❤️ and being a foodie I ordered this combo first❤️❤️❤️ and it was like awesome...you should at least try this for one time, trust you will be happy..

So we ordered this biriyani from tandoor house at Lake mall. With that we took chicken tandoor. Well the overall taste was amazing. The biriyani was good. It was nothing special though. But it was not average too. Tandoor was perfectly cooked. Place was cozy and comfortable.

Tandoor house is always famous for its quality food in very affordable price. I went here few days back and tried their chicken biryani. The biryani was great .the portion of biryani was huge. The piece of chicken was tender and juicy and properly boiled. I am very satisfied with this place.

Had the whole roast chicken from Tandoor house. And hands down, the best from the lot! The chicken was tossed in a sauce that tasted smokey and so flavourful. Loved the sauteed vegetables as well! A must try whenever you pay a visit here!

Tandoor house is the name that pops up first when we think about quality food at decent price.
We tried the special chicken biryani combo which included chicken biryani, egg, chicken chap and a piece of chicken tikka.
The chicken biryani tasted delish with the potato being cooked to the core.
The chicken chap was rich in gravy and was delicious.
The chicken tikka was succulent and was grilled to perfection.
We liked the chicken tikka so much we ended up ordering a chicken tikka kebab platter which was as described earlier succulent and the platter was worth every penny spent.
The only thing off was the colddrink,which was served hot and for us foodies the coke has to be served cold or it turns the whole affair to a stale state.
On a whole i highly recommend the place as a perfect dining option to visit with friends and families as it serves quality food at quality price.

Food quality and quantity was good. Staffs are courteous but service is little bit slow and ambience was good, very much colorful. The price is very affordable for all the people.
So, I suggest u will go to this restaurant and shared your own experience and spent a lot of time. Highly recommend

I just love their combo menu... My favourite is the biriyani combo and Pulao combo. In such price their portion of food and chickens are great. If you are looking for throwing a party or treat must go there. Their combo packs are just lovely. Taste of each food is delicious and chickens are so juicy. Highly recommended.

I go there specially for the biryani combo.
The price is just Rs-140/-
What you will get in the combo - Chikken/Mutton biryani with 1 aloo and 1 chicken/mutton ,2 pieces chicken kebab,salads,1 piece chicken chaap.
I love the biryani cause it taste good and have a light kolkata style biryani flavour.
But dont like the chaap that much.
Kebabs were too good.
Totally worth of money .
Best combo at a very pocket friendly price.
I also had noodles combo.
In that combo there was- noodles,chilly chicken,crispy honey chicken.
I love the Chinese combo.
But if you visit tandoor house you must try the biryani combo first.

Chicken biryani combo : In this combo you'll get
two pieces of chicken kebab, chicken chaap and chicken biryani. Tbh I don't really like their chaap as the first time I tried, it felt like stale but then the second time I tried the same one and that day it was good. The biryani is as usal, nothing special but the quantity was too good for 139/-
Hakka noodle combo : In this combo you'll get halka noodle, chili chicken and crispy honey chiken. All the items were good and definitely worth 159/-.
This place is really economical and definitely worth your money. Do give it a try and decide yourself.

Tandoor House is one of the best places to hit if you're looking for a sumptuos meal. Try out one of their platters - Chinese and Mughlai, and enjoy a platter of kebabs in perfect ambience. The quality and quantity of the food was no doubt very good.. And the price is very cheap compare to the quantity.
The combo contained biriyani,an egg,one piece of aloo, two kebabs, one piece of chicken,salad chicken chaap (it tastes yumm).They serve it in a plate with a banana leave which looks very pretty and authentic. The kebab combo contains three type of kebab items and salad. Staffs were polite and courteous.
The only thing which I didn't like about this place was, it remains very crowded and had to wait a lot in a line to get a table.

"Tandoor house" is a one of the famous resturant in kolkata . I had visited their lake market area's branch. Which was located at lake market near Rashbihari and just beside at lake mall area.
• Ambience of this place is very nice and beautiful . It is a family resturant.
• This outlet is spacious and they have seating arrangement of more or less 50 people at once.
• I had tried their's Mutton biriyani combo .
• Mutton Biriyani combo was amazing in taste, it had 1piece of mutton and 1piece of egg and definitely 1 potato. Mutton was tender and flavourful. With biriyani , 2soft Kabab also had in this combo. Along with these also had chicken chap which was so flavourful and tasty.
•Quantity and quality of each item was enough and upto the mark. Service is fast and staffs are courteous and helped us to choose the right item. Prices are appropriate according to the quality and quantity of food.
Well I went there with two of my friends,I really like the atmosphere over there,,we can visit there with both families and friends,,the staffs are well behaved and the seats are also good ,,overall the place is a good and clean place to have food.
Now comes to the food,,we ordered 1plate CHICKEN BIRIYANI COMBO(Chicken Chaap),2plate NAAN COMBO( with 1 plate Chicken Rezala and 2 Chicken Reshmi kabab) AND SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN SOUP, the food was well prepared ,, biriyani and chicken chaap both were very good ,,bt I was a bit disappointed with the chicken rezala as the poppy seeds were bit more which was not giving the taste of the dish as much expected. Other than that its was a great experience to visit there. I would recommend every one to go and try other combos as well.

This was the first time that i visited to this place this evening. It was a good place to gorge some kebabs. At first lets talk about the location, it was easy to locate the place, just behind the lake mall. Second the ambience, it was moderate with young bustling crowd, the decor suits the menu "mughlai khana". Third the food, it was quiet reasonable the quantity was even sufficient to fill ones tummy,the menu though doesnt have many options but yet it was suffice. The taste was good but not excellent. Lastly the service, the men were cordial and provides the order on time. Overall a nice place to visit if one feels to eat some good mughlai

You get 6 pieces of soft & succulent pieces kebabs and a plate full of chicken pulao which actually has small pieces of chickens.
Now coming to the taste,you can feel the perfect blend of masalas in every bite.The kebabs are fresh and will melt right in your mouth.
You get 3 kinds of kebabs.
🍗 Chicken Lasagni Kebab.
🍗 Chicken Tikka masala.
🍗 Chicken Reshmi masala.
The restaurant has a very cosy ambience but lil bit over crowded at times.

Everyone loves the biriyani combos... Please visit there and have some lovely food... But cold drinks which one provides us is little costly... 13 rs cold drinks you get there at 42 rs... Other wise behaviour wise arrangement wise and decoration wise it is greate place to eat on budget price and have some fun with the friends... Otherwise it is 10mins away(walking distance) from rabindra sarabor lake... You can go there after eating a lovely food for a walk and enjoy the natural beauty.... 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Tandoor House, near Kalighat, offers one of the most splendid options to dine-in within the city.
The quality and taste of the foods were marvelous. The kabab combo, the chicken polao combo and the biriyani combo is worth mentioning among the dishes. The menu card provides various options from where one can select from starters to desserts and drinks too.
The ambience was nice and good.
The main point into which I want to draw viewers attention is that the space is compact having more number of seats in a very cramped room. Other than the compactness of the space, the restaurant doesn't compromise with it's taste of food.
The behavior of the staffs were not up to the mark that one should expect. The staff's should be more active and more polite towards the customers.
Tandoor House doesn't take payment through dinein payment methods of Zomato and Swiggy, but online payments from UPI, debit or credit cards and cash are available.
Overall I would recommend everyone to visit Tandoor House and experience the combos at a minimum price.

Well connected, bus - route and metro route ( kalighat metro station).
The food quality is very good, especially commbo offer is pocket friendly.
Toilet facilities is not too good, only one toilet is there for both male & female.
We visited this place during weekdays, this is just beside the Lake Mall.
Talking about the ambience, it has a retro themed interiors but the seating arrangement seems to be very disorganised.and not very comfortable to move around.
Comming to the food.. we ordered two Mutton Biryani Combos with Phirni.
The combo included decent amount of Mitton biryani with both egg and potato along with two pieces of chicken tandoori kebab and a piece of chicken masala for Rs. 220.
Quantity was enough for one person however the quality was little compromised in regards to chicken masala which was not going with the biryani and tasted below average. Biryani on the other hand was flavourful with a fair piece of mutton along with a soft and tender piece of potato. Chicken kebabs were soft and tasty.
Over all the food was good compared to the price and would highly recommend this place for small get-togethers with friends and family.
