The staff were so warm and friendly. The food was good too. The beer was just awesome. The Scottish Ale was superb. Monsoons are the best time for a good drive, good beer and finger food. This monsoon, drive down to the Galleria Mall, Rajarhat and experience Country Roads. I loved it, including the drive in and back.

You will never go wrong if you decided to party in the weekend around this New Town area nowadays. One of the well-Known Microbrewery in the New Town area “Country Roads”. It is a microbrewery cum Restaurant, they are mainly famous for their crafted beers. It is simply the greatest place to hangouts with your buddies or colleagues after a hectic week. After months of anticipation finally I visited this microbrewery and it was truly worth it. We went on a Thursday late afternoon and the place wasn't much crowded.
📍 Location: This place is located near Central Mall, just opposite of Axis mall (New Town). It is at 2nd floor of Galleria building.
▶Ambience/Service: Speaking of Ambience, Top Class!! Vibrant and Classy ambience. The place is very beautiful with its rich interiors. You will surely fall in love with the place due to some soothing country music and 90s pop music been played in the background all the time. The place is really very spacious. They have comfortable seating arrangement and can accommodate about 100 people at a go. The staffs are very courteous and were very helpful while we were deciding what to order.

I have been here couple of times and simply love spending few hours and my love for fresh beer in deed.

Ambience is just perfect and it's a good value for money I must say. Also both of the sizzlers we ordered from the menu fish sizzler and mixed meat sizzler was good to eat besides the quantity. Often sizzler rice end up to be dry but here it was moist. Just the way I like it. Also tried their belgian blonde ale which was good. Must visit from my side.

Microbrewery is a comparatively new concept for our city. Whereas there are several stores in Mumbai and Bengaluru selling there signature beverages, options in the City of Joy are not that too many.
I had my first visit at this microbrewery house at the eastern township area a few days back. We'll I had to admit that it was a fantastic idea to make beverages instantly and serve.
This place is situated on the first floor of the DLF Galleria Mall, New Town. The interior is dimly lit and beautiful couches are inlaid for sitting. The in house beers were really refreshing and to my surprise it didn't come with excessive froth. The side dishes were also very suitable as accompaniments.
I lost all my fatigue down the Country Roads.

I have always loved this combination of special brewed beers of microbreweries with Chicken Wings (specially honey mustand, honey chilly, BBQ sauce) but unfortunately this combo is not well served in kolkata except this place called Country Roads in new town kolkata. Very good ambience with dim lights and soothing music. Staff behaviour is very good. The food here is awesome. We tried the house special red hot chilli chicken it came loaded with peanuts and it was spicy. I tottaly loved it. We also took Yakitori which is basically teriyaki chicken skewers. Had nimbu mahai fish tikka(the star of the show),tandoor bhetki(tender and delicious),makhmali sheek kabab(average in taste) as starter..Followed up all this with Mixed fried rice (great taste and pretty good in quantity with a lot of prawns,chicken & shredded lamb) and Mutton rogan josh(Had a very nice flavour to it).Was confused whether to give it a 4 star because of the not-so-impressive sheekh kabab but decided against it as the other dishes and the ambience makes up for that.Our total bill was around 2000-2100 and its worth every penny!

It's a decent place and also offers good food. The quality of the beer (since it's a brewery) is very good. A variety of options are available to select from in terms of drinks. Starting from German, Belgium, Scottish to crafted premium beer. The price range is also quite decent.
What I love about this place is the ambience. It has a very warm and at the same time chilly environment. The decor complements the whole atmosphere and the service is also very good. The stuff is friendly as well as fast.

The place is located in Newtown and offers some good food. Though we just ordered Chinese, I can say that that tasted good. The ambience is good, with polite staff and some catchy music.

This place will give you all the weekend vibes. Good music, great food and of course great drinks. Country Roads have their own brewery. We tried Ale and Long island iced tea, both were great. They have lots of food variety too. Food is also really great, however the quantity can improve but again in a place like this, it is understandable. Overall it's place well deserved for 5 stars. Highly recommended.

So this was my first microbrewery visit in kolkata and I must say I wasn’t disappointed. German Weizen was my favorite and I simply loved it . Also they have this beautiful concept of rasgolla shots ( rasgolla with rum ) which was quite nice and fascinating. Coming to the starters , we had ordered a vetki tandoori, calamari salt n pepper and veg tandoor platter ; the taste of each of the items were quite good . In the main course we had ordered penne pasta in white sauce which was average in taste . Overall we had a good experience, the ambience was nice and cozy and the service was good . I would suggest people to give it a try if you are a beer lover and would love to taste something different!

Country Roads never dissapointed me when i visited the place with colleagues and a few days back single . Staffs are very courteous . Crowd is mostly of corporate people.I had ordered bhetki fish finger but the fish was basa and it was not at all good. I had a few pegs of Black Dog and price is somewhat fine . It is located insited DLF galleria opposite to Central and provides authentic drinks (without milawat) as I experienced a few places at New Town.
Food and drink both are of great quality. Ambience is so good. A perfect dine out place with friends or a special one. Best thing I liked about Country Roads is their non veg menu.. chicken is cooked with perfection, even veg menu will not disappoint you.
Coming from the brew-hub city of India (i.e. Bangalore), I was really happy to find a place near my home in Kolkata that brews good beer. I loved their German Weizen sa well as Scottish Ale. The food here is decent and the service is mind blowing... My almost every-weekend-getaway is here :)

Had a good outing last evening here. This is the first microbrewery I was visiting in Kolkata. Had visited couple of breweries in Bangalore before. However, was not disappointed here to be honest. Tried the German Weizen and Belgian Blonde. Really liked the later one. On the sides we took one Mongolian dry fish, some batter fried fish (it was crispy, and the fish quantity inside was also very good), and some chicken kebab prepared with cheese (brought the cheese out really well, along with usual kebab flavour). Also, got to try a shot before leaving. Overall, a fine place for beer lovers in Kolkata.
Heard a lot about this place. Visited in summary afternoon with my boyfriend. Though I am not a beer person but I loved the German Beer the guy suggested us, along with food. Prosen was attending our table. He has been really helpful giving prompt suggestions understanding our choice of taste. The ambience was really good. Loved it! Would love to visit once again!
It was an overall nice experience. I liked the decor and the food. The premium crafted beer and the Belgium one was yum.... And the chicken supreme in 3 dips was delicious. Overall pocket pinch was reasonable. It was overcrowded but then again we went on a Friday so can't complain. 🙂

We ordered Mongolian Chicken, Chilli Basil Fish, Achari Chicken Tikka, Yakitori, Chicken Fried Rice and Hot Garlic Chicken.
The quantity is also good. Overall a nice experience. Visit highly recommended.

The food here is exceptionally good. Hakka noodles is the best I have ever had. Roasted papad is complimentary. In house crafted beers are good too though the place lack flavoured craft beer.

Everything is very good untill you change the taste of Belgian blond and ruined it

Its on 2nd floor in Galleria; locating it may be tricky for some.
I've been here few times at different timing of the day and for sure the best moment when to go there is by night time.
The place itself is clean and has a very good vibe. The chilled brewed beer is really awesome and the food needs a special mention.
Staff is courteous and overall its a great experience.

Food and Beverages were great as always!
The mashed potatoes were not properly seasoned and when I informed them about the same, their chef came to our table and apologized as he said that he tasted it and realised the same so they sent in a fresh plate of mashed potatoes and boy it was so delicious ❤️

They have an entire menu dedicated to alcohol and there's a bar counter too to choose your cocktails.
As per food is concerned, it's really delicious and hygienic.
Would recommend to try Chicken Drumsticks, Fish in garlic honey sauce.
The salad was too bland but you can't expect much from salad.
Staff service is upto the mark.
However would have preferred if they'd have a dance floor.
