Had rib eye steak, roast pork & tenderloin steak with red wine sauce. All were a delight. Tenderloin strips as starters were pretty good. Loved the roof top ambiance. Management may think of including lamb dishes & also some chilled beers could have done wonders to an already awesome eating experience. All in all, one of the best place for a carnivore in Kolkata.
Have tried almost each and every item on the menu.... never ever repented ordering any dish. Food is simply awesome. The staff is extremely courteous and the best part is they never rush you through the courses. It's one of the best places to hang out with family or friends... relax and enjoy a delicious meal.

Wise Owl is a small coffee shop with indoor as well as outdoor sittings. It’s a small cute cafe with good food and courteous staff.
One negative point is that there were a lot mosquito in the cafe which is not good, they should take care about that other than that all the sanitation was taken care off.

It was really creamy and delicious. They also served a pair of bread which was good to scoop the left over sauce. It was really delicious.

Before visiting this place we were much concerned about the safety measures taken by this place cause of this pandemic situation.They checked our temperature while entering,sanitizer bottle was there,indoor seating was spacious,it was Sunday evening and we didn't find it crowdy.It would be good if the people who were serving start using hand gloves too.

I and my friend went to this place after our meeting. This place is really very nice. The ambience is decorated as per its name wise owl. You will get to see a lot of owls statues kept. The place is quite cozy and a perfect place to hang out with your friends and family. We had ordered cheese sandwich and the quantity and quality both were outstanding. Visited here recently. The place is famous for its steakhouse. That is situated on the floor just above this cafe.Named as "Wise Owl Steakhouse". But I would say that this cafe too is a very good place. It has an outdoor seating arrangement too. Also the place is calm and has cozy ambiance and very much couple friendly. With full on Privacy. The foods were good too and very much pocket friendly. The place opens up right from the morning and runs till night. Student crowd and family crowd is there. Very much sober place and the place is convenient too. The quality and quantity of foods are really good. The staffs have good behavior and very much cooperative. I would say if going for a cozy cafe to spend relaxing time with your loved ones then this place is the one.
I had - Spanish omelette and Egg Cheese Sandwich with my favorite cappuccino. The quantity was well sufficient ! Also they maintain a very good hygiene.

• Cafe Latte- It's a coffee drink made with espresso and steamed milk and served in a Coffee Cup.
The shop is very well Decorated.
From the price point of view, it's a bit on the higher side. But it's pretty worth it.
Foods are Served nicely and it took around 20 minutes for them to serve us the above-mentioned drinks.
You should give it a try.

Went with my family yesterday. We ordered Cappuccino (amazing as usual), baked fish (still had a slight smell & taste of milk this time) & BBQ chicken wings (delicious).

Whenever we need to make a serious plan, a casual discussion, or just need to hangout with friends, we go to Wise Owl. My most favourite breakfast place, actually my most favourite place. Most Favourite: Corn and Spinach sandwich, other sandwiches as well. Cafe Mocha, Darjeeling Tea, All day Breakfast Platter, Strawberry Green Tea, Grilled Fish, mac and cheese, pretty much everything.
Food is good. Ambience is good but service is extremely slow...they take hours to serve even a cup of coffee.
The food was tasty and at a very affordable price. Definitely worth it. It's a good place to hang out with your friends.

Located in a hidden alley in Purna das road, 'Wise owl- The coffee shop' is a well decorated cafe, an ideal hangout space with friends or colleagues. The ambience is cozy with vibrant energy all around. There's an outdoor section too which is a smoking zone. The beautiful paintings hung across gives the place a contemporary touch.
Coming to the menus served over here, breakfast forms a substantial part in different combinations. We tried a few from the all day menu which includes pastas, burgers, sandwiches and even pizzas.
We tried cold coffee with cream, BBQ chicken wings, rice with pork in butter sauce and the brownie with ice cream and chocolate sauce made a decent ending.
One of the best places to try out something really different..located in a hidden alley on purna Das road, this is a hidden gem where food is divine.

1. Fish florentine with grilled bread-- very well cooked ..fish absolutely melts in your mouth.the white sauce accompanying that was totally in sync with the food.
2. Red sauce pasta ... a nice preparation
3. Green apple mojito....normal refreshing drink..
All in all a good experience..will visit again

This is a great place to spend a pleasant morning having a scrumptious breakfast. They have both outdoor and indoor seating arrangements. If you want to enjoy the early morning sunshine from the outdoor seating, you better get there early, around 7:45-8. The outdoor covers usually get full after that. Inside, the decor is minimalistic and the ambience is warm. The servers know what they are doing and are polite. However, they take quite a lot of time to serve the food once it is ordered. So, it's better to not be in a rush at Wise Owl.
Now coming to the food-
•Frittata: It's an Italian egg-dish resembling an omelette and comes with toppings of your choice. I had mine with generous amounts of mushroom, chicken and ham. The frittata was delicious and ensured a great start to my day.
•Pancakes with chocolate sauce: It's hard to go wrong with pancakes and they did it the easy way. The pancakes were fluffy and yummy. What worked wonders was the chocolate sauce. It was gooey and not overtly sweet. It was just perfect.
•Cafe Mocha: Excellent
•Iced Hazelnut Latte: Excellent
Their coffees are highly recommended. They use good quality ingredients all over and that obviously makes a difference.

Great ambience, courteous staff, lovely food. The chicken stroganoff and grilled chicken are absolutely delicious. If I had a complaint, it would be that the place is too noisy, especially when there are a lot of people. Other than that, it's more or less perfect. :)

The name itself depicts a sense of belonging as to where it is grown. Hence, the name "Darjeeling Tea" derives it's name from it's inherent place.
It's a nice place contains a rooftop area with wooden decorations... Let's come to the point of food quality and taste... I took one cold coffee and another veg pizza .... The quantity was so good and was pocket friendly.... Rating of cold coffee : 4.6/5 and rating of veg pizza is 4.1/5 .... Go and try it... And have fun in that beautiful place...! 🙈

It was a pleasant experience altogether.
We had a cup of wise owl special cappuccino and a chocolate milk shake where the cup of cappuccino was great that came with a complimentary cookie but the milk shake was very thin and was not upto my expectation.
One of my favourite places. Do try out the GRILLED BHEKTI IN HARISSA SAUCE. It tastes heavenly. Wise owl cafe is a must visit for people who are looking for a place to hang out with friends or looking for a great place to eat at a very reasonable price.

Wow! Its where tea meets sophistication. A perfect place to hang out with friends or family or even colleagues. The friendly staff and the great ambiance adds on to the happy time you spend there in the cafe. Their different kinds of tea is a great way to try on your taste buds.

Cold Coffee - A very regular normal cold coffee. Nothing extravagant or different.
Overall a very so - so experience. I would love going here on a winter evening just to enjoy the ambience and a good hot coffee

The idea of a morning breakfast had always been on my bucket list. And Wise Owl turned out to be that perfect place. Located away from the hustle and bustle of the roads, this place provides a calm and soothing ambience. Ordered the grilled chicken honey mustard sandwich, an all day breakfast platter and coffee. The honey in the sandwich made it taste quite different. Give it a try if you love the taste of honey. You will definitely love the flavor. And about the breakfast platter. You will get 2 fried eggs, 2 piece of sausage, 2 piece of toast, french fries and bacon. The food was good. But I felt that the quantity was not justifying the price. I would suggest to add a few more pieces of sausages. The coffee was good, but nothing extraordinary. If you are up for a morning breakfast, in a calm and beautiful place, do visit the place. You will love the silence.

Nice place for hang out,and we ordered healthy brown sandwich which was amazing,and grilled chicken which was tasty but chicken was little stiff,but over all it's a nice experience.
To begin with, the interior is pretty and cosy. They have an indoor as well as an outdoor seating facility. Talking of service, quiet prompt and courteous. The staff were well behaved and food was served within reasonable time. Prices are all right, considering the quantity and quality of the items delivered.
We ordered a hot chocolate, and a cold coffee with Ice cream, both of them being more or less good.
Food -
We ordered Fish Finger, that tasted really good. We have loved it.
We had also ordered for a Margherita Pizza and a Chicken Steak, both of them were very tasty, especially the Pizza, with all the extra cheese!
However, we also wanted to taste the Peri Peri Fries, but no variety of fries were available on the day of our visit. Looking forward to our next visit, soon!

Finally, I'm writing a review for the Wise Owl! It's my coveted place for a good breakfast on a sunny cold weekend. And somehow it's quite underrated for it's breakfast. Flurry's, on the other hand I think is overrated. I've been to both which qualifies me to compare these two.
The reasons to like the Wise Owl are many. From the behavior of the waiters to the quality and care with which the food is prepared is really something you'll notice.
Something I love the most is their outdoor seating area. It's an absolute delight to look over the serene South Calcutta street, away from the hustle and bustle and occasionally a car or two will pass by. You can also have a fag while you sip on the piping hot cappuccino.
Now coming to the food, I tried their Bacon and Cheese Omlettes, All day breakfast platter, Joey's platter and the Meat Lover's Sandwich.
The All day breakfast platter is a steal deal for it's price! You get 2 fried eggs, french fries, Sausages, some bacon and toast. Just club it with a hot cup of cappuccino and you're good to go!
I love their Bacon and Cheese Omlettes and that is something I keep going to this place time and again. Carefully made Omlette with cheese and a good amount of bacon inside which will make you go yumm on the first bite.
The Meat Lover's Sandwich is a bit on the heavier side. You'll come out full if you can have the full plate. It had 3 layers of bread with 2 layers fillings including sausages, meatloaf and cheese.
Another VFM dish you can find there is the chilli cheese toast. I guess it's the cheapest and the most filling dish there. They also have some yummy cheeseballs.
I am yet to try out their burgers the next time. Would update the same when I do. Till then, you can be rest assured you'll have a great breakfast if you decide to pay this place a visit.

My association with wise owl started about 8 years back as there banker at that point of time ... I still love this place and keep going there as a food lover only .... Food is excellent... For a long time I did not visit this place fearing its prices. But never was I more mistaken. The food quality is just superb and I have never been disappointed with anything that I have ordered.
The Grilled Chicken with Mushroom sauce is amazing and honestly I have never had such good mashed potatoes anywhere which was the icing on the cake. The pizza was also amazing as was the Fresh Lime Sode. It was just perfect.
The ambience is quiet and peaceful and the staff are very well behaved. The prices are very reasonable and with a t3 discount which I had, it became even better.
It is a fantastic place to spend some quality time with friends and/or family.
This place has the perfect cafe ambience. They serve any kind of Italian food. Their staff behavior is very nice. The best part is their lasagne which is just awesome in taste. We also loved the chocolate dessert. That was just too good😄
Great place if you are upto any informal meetings or hangout with friends.. They provide both indoor and outdoor seatings.. Comfy place with a great menu.. Starting from different hot and cold beverages to finger food, snacks and main course dishes like pasta..
I have visited this place for brunch a couple of times.I love the ambience,the outdoor seating area,the service,their coffee ,salads and sandwiches.Amongst finger foods,the omelette wrap is pretty average but do try the panko fried chicken.The one time I ordered their grilled fish with lemon butter sauce,I didn't quite like it although the grilled chicken was good.Its located in a relatively quiet area which is a plus and adds to the vibe of this place.
Also do try their hot chocolate,u won't regret it.
One of the best places to have continental food. Nice ambience to spend time. Staff are well behaved and served their best to comfort us with all requirements. Food quality was upto the mark. I loved this place..wish to visit again. Washroom available. Parking available infront roadways. Both AC and non AC sitting available.
Great experience! One of the best cafes I have visited till date. The grilled fish and the chicken steak is a must try. The teas and coffees are also quite good. The ambiance was great. Overall a nice place to spend time with family and friends.
What a charming little café! The atmosphere is lovely, and the decor is so unique. The service was fantastic, with such friendly staff. Plus, the food was absolutely delicious; we finally found the perfect Eggs Benedict in Kolkata! Meeting the chef was a delightful surprise. The coffee was excellent too. In my opinion, this place deserves more recognition; it's a hidden gem in the heart of the city. We're eager to explore more items on their menu soon.
Charcoal is a beautiful and cozy place with an outstanding view. They have a beautiful and soothing colour palette. It's on the top floor of Wise Owl Cafe. Each Corner of Charcoal is beautifully designed.
The food was very presentable and very tasty which I did not expect seeing the colour of the plate, Rice with cheese gravy.
This place definitely deserves some more attention and a spot in your insta feed.
Had an awesome dining experience here, with kids, thanks to the friendly and dedicated staff here. Lovely ambiance and cozy place to dine with friends, family or just by your self. Comfort food, and delicious too.

They serve continental food. I love their chicken steak with rosemary sause with mashed potatoes by its side. Good place to hangout with friends. A quite and ambient atmosphere to enjoy a meal. They are open till late nights if you like to enjoy a late night meal.
A cozy Cafe for friends meet and greet ✨️. We ordered drinks ( blue sparkle, red owl and fretini ) , fish finger, BBQ chicken pizza( with mushroom and broccoli add on), chicken lasagna 😋. Among these loved the lasagna most. The amount they serve is sharable by 2.The Cafe is pocket friendly and great ambience. Must try for something unique.

What a cute little cafe! Beautiful ambience! Unique decor! Service was excellent. Very friendly staff. And absolutely delicious food. Finally found someone in kolkata who can make the perfect Eggs Benedict! We were very happy to have met the chef. The coffee was great too.. in my opinion this place is underrated.. I really wish more people find this gem of a cafe in the middle of the city worth visiting. We cannot wait to try more items from their menu.
We visited Wise Owl the Coffee Shop for breakfast. The service was a bit slow but the ambiance more than made up for it.
We got the Breakfast Platter, Joey's platter as well as the Meat Lovers Club sandwich. Both the Breakfast Platter and Joey's platter were served with chicken/pork sausages, baked beans, toast, bacon, hash brown and a side of eggs. The Joey's platter further had ham in it as well. We took a cuppucino and a masala tea as an add on to the two platters @Rs. 80/- each
Meat Lovers club sandwich wasn't that great to taste. It was a mix of egg and chicken and ham with cheese served with a side of potato chips.

Wise 🦉 , this name sounds charming and symbol of peaceful place , we all know about the bird 🦉 it's looks actually as it is , but we all troll this bird as a significance of ugly looks, don't know why !?, okay leave it last few days ago me and one of my friend cum brother visited this place. Actually we were huge hungry after done our job at new garia and bhawanipur 😄 , I already told you this place was actually quite and the ambiance runs a positive vibes always. There decoration was very cozy and well maintained . After all of this we ordered lots of foods ☺️...
You all know if I get Greek salad in the menu i ordered it first and he ordered 🍤 🍤🍤🍤 fried prawn ( as usual prawn size was normal and tested avarage with sauce)
After that I ordered all pork rice with pork meat ( this item were literally healthy and tasty and quantity served properly)
Bhetki stake with harrisa sauce (good fish test like good kiss but the fish were not cooked properly maybe or maybe the fish wasn't actually bhetki)
Baked prawn 🍤🦐 🦐🍤🦐 it was actually good but the prawn size was too small tested well none spicy dish
Add on : smash potato (80/-)
One thing there guest service was actually very poor don't know why , I have been waited for so long to order every items

I have been to this place earlier but visited today after a long time. I must say the service level has gone down a notch from before. The place was quite empty when we visited (around 12 pm), but no one was coming to deliver the menu card and take the order. At around 12:15,when we selected some items from the lunch menu, we were I formed that only breakfast menu will be available then. The breakfast menu was pretty limited, yet we had to settle for an item. The food came pretty fast and tasted good. The rates were reasonable. However, overall the vibes that emanated from the place earlier, were totally missing.
Quite a cosy place.The Wise owl is everywhere. Nice place if you want stay to have long leisurely conversations. No pressure on time .Food is decent .The first flush Darjeeling tea was good.The service was good 👍.
