One of the few self-breweries belonging in Kolkata, the ambience is really good. Waiters are amiable and food and drinks are of superior quality. Located in the heart of Sector V and provides a good hangout place for IT professionals.
Well there is everything which u can find at Raise the Bar...a bit expensive and very high parking charges and no brewery license till now are the problems..but the food, drinks and ambience is really good..awesome saturday crowd. Must visit.
Everything here is great.From food to ambience to music..to non -alcoholic drinks(I don't drink or take hookah,)....service is fast.. awesome place for get together with friends�

Was here last week over for Lunch so let's talk about my experience.
Speaking of Ambience, the place is quite spacious w/ more than enough seatings for big/small groups. There's a Dedicated Bar Section as well as a Section that felt more private. Service is good w/ the staff being nice & friendly.
Coming to Food, I liked or loved pretty much everything I had here. Their Appetizers seemed to be a strong point, especially the Thai Wok tossed Fish. Loved their Pasta as well as Noodles as well. The only thing I felt was okayish was the Pizza which I felt can get better, given the competition. But apart from that, rest were good !
Recommendations would be Thai styled Wok tossed Fish, Gondhoraj Machhi Kebab, Baked Penne w/ Chicken & Chocolate Celebration. Loved the Rose Beer.

Planning to watch the IPL season with your gang? Planning to go on a weekend date? Planning to relax and deal with mid week blues?
Raize the Bar, Sector 5 has all of it for you. Chilled craft beer, tantalizing food, cozy ambience while maintaining all the safety precautions during this uncertain time. They have reopened their doors since the beginning of September and promises it's patrons a good memorable time. I visited this bar several times before the Covid-19 breakdown and always loved their woody finished decor. They have a section towards the back of the bar which is good for private parties. It has a fuseball table, some quirky quotes on the wall, a dart board and comfortable sofa style seating.
*Appetizer:*
1. Moroccan Cigar Roll - The cigars have a cheesy vegetable filling with a crispy coating outside. These are delicious and served with Thai sweet chilli sauce and mayo dip.
2. Melting Mushrooms - Mushrooms have a soft corner in my heart and these truly deserve it. Whole mushrooms topped with dipping cheese and herbs, baked and served with Thai sweet chilli sauce in a fancy triangular beaker.
3. Four cheese chicken tikka - Kebabs are always a favourite and when topped with cheese becomes a delight. Mildly spiced, yet delectable!
4. Gondhoraj maachhi kebab - These were just full of flavour and melted in the mouth. The fish had no smell and was marinated well. The lemon used brought about a different aroma on the dish.
5. Smoked tandoori aloo - The aloo was char grilled perfectly. The spices were well balanced and not to forget the mint chutney that complimented these kebabs. Unlike many places which serve boiled potato with spices only on the outside, these were really good as the flavours went right in and not once you can say that three potatoes are bland in the inside.
6. Wok tossed fish ,thai style - This was one bomb dish. Loved the aroma of the entire dish. The fresh basil and kaffir lime leaves added to the rich flavour of the crispy fish. It was a must order!
7. Kejriwal in the house - Eggs Benedict perfectly cooked and served on soft breads. It was tasty and very well made with the little runny, little solid yolk.
*Mains:*
1. Supreme Chicken Roll - Kati roll is a signature of Kolkata eateries. It makes a great combination with beer. This roll was made with a thick paratha, stuffed with chicken cubes, onion and capsicum. It wasn't oily and definitely something you would like.
2. Schezwan Chicken Sizzler - After a result long time had a sizzler. A good portion of dry schezwan chicken, fried rice, grilled exotic vegetables and an egg white is served on the sizzler plate. The dish is palatable and perfect for one person.
3. Gondhoraj murgh - Served in a satay style and marinated with Indian spices, the gondhoraj lemon used enhances the flavour of the chicken. It is juicy and tender.
4. Flaming Pizza - Do you like rum in your pizza? Well the simple chicken tikka pizza, will be put on flames to change the usual flavours completely. It is a thin crust pizza and served in a flatbread style.
5. Canteen Noodles - The noodle was too good. Coriander flavoured noodles with a hint of basil, served with kimchi and cucumber carrot pickle.
6. Baked Penne with Chicken - Creamy cheesy penne cooked with chicken juliens in white sauce and then baked. It is indeed a scrumptious bake!
*Desserts:*
1. Fried Ice Cream - Vanilla ice cream battered and deep fried, served on orange slices and topped with very cream. This was one of the very few places that make good fried ice cream.
2. A Chocolate Celebration - A chocolate lover's paradise! Hot brownie crumbs, chocolate almond nougat, peanut almond paste, cocoa powder and a scoop of vanilla ice cream sums up this dessert. It's quite big and definitely sharable!
*Beer:* They don't use hops in their beer and hence it is light & smooth. My favourite is the rose beer and I highly recommend that!

They are open from 11 am to 11pm daily. They are also serving hookah. Temperature checks are done at the entrance and sanitizer stands are kept around so that guests have continuous access if they want. Wearing a mask except when eating is also suggested.
If you want to get food delivered you can directly call them order through the dining apps. However, to try their craft beer, you have to go for a dine in.
The hospitality of the whole team at TRB is top notch. They are maintaining hygiene and cleaning is done at regular intervals. Check out the IPL offers which are being offered right now. You will love it!

Raize The Bar has reopened a few days ago and are practicing all the safety measures for their patrons.
I was there last week to experience the same and i was all excited about it. Right from the food, drinks and overall service i found this place to be very comforting and attentive. The service team is always there to help you with your needs which is a good factor.
The food which i liked a lot from their menu and new addition are Canteen Noodles, Wok Tossed Fish Thai Style, Baked Penne Chicken Pasta, Kejriwal In The House and two desserts, A Chocolate Celebration and Fried Ice Cream.
For Alcohol and Beers lovers out there, you will get quite a lot of choices in the menu. The newly launched Rose and Belgian Craft Beer is something to check out.

They have a great ambiance and the hospitality is a top notch.

Appetizer:
1.Smoked tandoori aloo with sundried tomato chutney. The tangy flavours of tomato chutney along with tandoori aloo is a great dish to begin your feast, the flavourful appetizer is a perfect choice for vegetarians.
2. Kejriwal in the house( Egg Benedict ) - Cooked perfectly, I really liked the egg benedict, highly recommended.
Mains:
1. Flaming Pizza (Non Veg Pizza): The thin crust pizza with chicken topping is a must have.
2. Canteen Noodles : The noodles is a must-have dish from the menu, the flavours are balanced perfectly.
3. Baked Penne with Chicken: If you envy penne pasta, you must try this baked version of it.

I visited this place many times... Basically I love this place for their different flavoured crafted beers and hookhas... The service is prompt... The staffs are really courteous... The ambience is on the darker side and the music is very loud... So if you have some important meeting then ever this place... But it is obviously a very good option if you want to hang out with your friends... Their are little inconsistent about the flavours of their food... Someday the food is very good and someday it was horrible... But still I like the place very much... Pocket pinch here is on the higher side...
Amazing outlet with delicious food. It's located in the Sector 5. Staffs are cooperative and the decorations are excellent. Environment is excellent and clean . Must visit with friends and family 😊.
This restaurant is located at Sector V, Salt Lake. The ambience of this place is very contemporary and modern. Soft music in the background and a view of the nearby lakes that can be seen only from a few specific spots made it a great experience. We ordered some alcohol like beer which was made in there in house brewery. We ordered Premium Lager and Belgian Wit. Both these beers were light and had a sweet touch to it. For food we ordered Mixed meat Platter. The mixed meat Platter consisted of Braised lamb chops, grilled chicken breast and chicken sausages. The lamb and chicken melted in the mouth as it was cooked to such perfection. The service was very quick and prompt. Didn't have to wait long at all. Overall a great experience including the food and the alcohol and the ambience of the place.
This is a pub..only for the you generation..hangout and also for the couple..normal dishes will available.If you young then you will go and enjoy.yourself....
One of the best places to visit in sector 5. The place has got a very great atmosphere. The decorations of the place i.e ambience is on point giving it a classy look. The staffs are super friendly and the detailed menu of each and every dish and beverages makes it easy to order your food. They got a variety of dishes there so it doesnt matter what you like or dont. You gonna get everything here. Only sometimes the crowd is too noisy. Its a super place and I encourage everyone to visit the place. Its a little expensive but its completely worth the price.

I visited this hot and happening place at the very accessible and easily commutable place on last Sunday along with a friend. Firstly, the ambience was very moody, cinematic and inviting, and staff here is extremely well-mannered and welcoming. Even the chef, himself was courteous and amicable. They have an excellent selection of beers, being prepared in their own micro-brewery. I especially loved the apple cider variant. Then comes the very intriguing section of food, from green chilli chicken, to gandharaj murg, every single item on the menu that we tried were lip-smacking and adequate in quantity. I'd definitely visit this place again.

I really liked their brewery...I had stout and the Belgium wit...and I must say that both of the beers need to be recommended...I am willing to go there again to have food as well...I really liked the ambience and also the stuffs are very polite and helpful..

We had a splendid evening at Raize the bar with 65+ of our friends and colleagues. The hospitality led by Sanjay Karak was simply outstanding. The food was sumptuous and drinks package made it an awesome experience. We will visit again...
Special call out to the DJ who played electric 90s till the end...enough get our spirits up. Starters with spicy chicken wings and fish finger was simply the best.
The chocolate brownie ice-cream concluded the great event with cheers.

It is located in sector v, near college more saltlake..I loved the place,ambience they have good looking interior with some loud music.. The best thing about this place is that they have their own brewery so u can have some freshly brewed beer.. Beer tasted is just awesome, for me truely the best I have ever tasted.. Food is also awesome.. If u like to have some fresh beer it will be the best reccomended place 🙂

Went to this place to try the Fried Ice Cream 🍧 Two scoops of vanilla ice cream coated with a warm crunchy layer of bread were served on the top of two tangy slices of orange🍊with a dollop of cream garnished with caramel and cointreau sauces and choco chips. It was fabulous in taste. Also I visited during the happy hours so I got a discount.
Man this gotta be the ultimate brewery house in Kolkata. I'm not saying it the best but the view is something that catches anyone eye.
Coming to the beer, the taste of the freshly brewed beer is something i go ga-ga for. They beer is amazing special if you order for pitcher, you will get save some buck.
The sides were amazing. We ordered kebab which looked amazing on the plate. The taste was very good.
I will suggest this pub to anyone who is looking to get a good beer with some nice ambience in salt lake

Had been planning to visit for a long time hence visited on Halloween eve. Amazing food, great ambiance and the crafted beers are truely the best I have ever tasted. Qudos guys seriously you have raised the bar for all other pubs in town!!😁
Sudden visit on Halloween night was fun, it was dark and themed with an eerie manner. They brew their own beer and having probably 7different types, having large tanks set up from where separate pipelines are made up till the bar counter. Looks cool. I loved the way they serve the Tester set of their different flavors of beers.
Also they were having ladies night on Thursday eve where they were serving vodka based shots and cocktails.

recently I visited Raise the bar with my friends. The place is quite big and very nicely decorated with hanging lights and paintings. The best part is that it's own microbrewery. We tried Belgian wit,German wheat, Rose wheat ale. I loved Belgian wit .The all beer that have tested is up to mark and most important thing that the brew master taken review personally for food and drinks I like the way of treating.. The food was good but I liked mostly beers quality..
Finally I loved the place I recommended to every to go and visit the place and enjoy the beers (Belgium wit.. )
This is one of the very limited places in town that serves craft beers. Visited this restaurant recently during Durga Puja with my boyfriend. Located in the Godrej Waterside IT Park.
We tried-
▪️ German Wheat: We tried the tasters. The restaurant charges 100/- for tasters. Coming to this beer, this a blonde beer and the most bitter variant just the way I like it.
▪️ Original Nachos: Regular Nachos were served with 4 dips. Cheese fondue, sour cream, black beans and my favorite salsa.
Loved visiting this place. Perfect for a grabbing a quick drink or hanging out with friends.
The brewed beer is definitely recommended.... I tried the Belgium beer and Apple cider...both were good and fresh...the music was mellow which I prefer...it was good experience on a Saturday evening....the happy hours added more to the fun..

We had testers first and apple cider was the best among all. It was one of the finest beers I have ever had. Gandharaj Murgh was perfect starter for my tastebuds. Chicken Biriyani was different but tastes so good. The only thing is with the plate the biriyani comes has a narrow opening. Even the staffs were uncomfortable while serving it. The hookah was okayish but after the coal change it started to stuck a bit, not pleasant at all. The ambience was like cherry on the cake. The staffs were so friendly and well mannered. Highly recommended. Planning to visit again soon.
I loved the place.. ambience , food was so good. 🍺 was just the cherry on top, they have their own brewery . I went for my birthday night so arranged browney, candle and music for me. Staffs are really very cordial. Place is highly recommended.

We visited raize the bar on saptami, ordered gondhoraj chicken which is a must must must have here!! Our next order was green chilli chicken which was itself a heaven believe me!! 🤩🤩 we tested the a beer tester & sorted german wheat beer, the best one among 6 variety of them. The ambience was lovely and how couldnt it be the best evening when ur childhood buddy chef doyel sarangi handpicked the best dishes for u? !!

My review for this place was pending since a week. I went their with my friends and ordered for Gondhoraj Murg Tikka, Melting Mushroom, barbeque chicken wings, RTB pizza, cilantro rice with grilled chicken. In drinks we ordered for Belgian wheat, German wheat and Apple cider. Food tasted excellent and the star of the show was Gondhoraj Murg, It was juicy and full of aroma and flavors. Staffs were thorough professionals and courteous. Manager visited our table for feedback and we liked the gesture. Overall its a must visit place.

Chilli Cheese Toast is a very simple and easy toast / open sandwich recipe which you can make for a quick breakfast or as an evening snack.
Kids absolutely love this dish, as it consists of cheese, just be carefull when you are making this dish for your kids to keep the amount of chillies in check.
There are many variations of making chilli cheese toast. But this style is my absolute favorite as it’s so easy and hassle free and you can make it on a tawa or if you wish to you can make it in an oven.
You can use white bread, brown bread or any bread of your choice. In this recipe I am using white bread. You can also use your choice of cheese, I am using Amul cheese cubes.
You can also make it mumbai style where you use the stuffing and make a toast sandwich. Just grill or toast the sandwich in the sandwich maker.

Noodles again , yes !!! This time it was Perfect Veg Hakka noodles – Indo Chinese with a side of healthy yummy healthier .
Well heard a lot about this place so wanted to go for sometime long . It was a nice place to hangout with buddies,ambience was good though dj songs can be better thanks to that lady DJ who rocked with her songs.Coming to items we ordered Belgian wit and it was really amazing along with Wheat which was little strong and one fruit punch which was OK(Saving one drink for last line).
For food we ordered Vegetarian kebab platter which was really nice and we are about to appraise it jsut then we got Sambal Cottage cheese sizzler and it was the worst sizzler I had in my life and quantity was too too too less(Felt looted).Then we ordered pizza which was like 2/5.
Lasting we had Long Island Iced Tea and guys it really hitted so hard and I must say you should gave it a try . so finally this place is a nice visit.

This is a great place for loud dance music with hookah. The place also brews their own beer which is an attraction in itself. I had taken the Belgian beer which was great. Although my friends did not like the apple cider beer that they took.
The food is very good, especially the onion rings that came along with their assorted veggies.
Would definitely revisit the place and would recommend it as a must go for people who love loud dance music, hookah and beer.

Try the apple cider beer here because it is awesome. Our table was really small in compared to other places' 7 seater arrangements. All over a good experience!
It is quite famous place for hangouts, situated in prime location of Saltlake sector 5. I went there to celebrate my special day and really experienced a good time. I found the reasons of its popularity and those are nothing but the awesome food and good music. Another speciality is they serve their own liquor though I didn't try. Small dance floor is also available.
My few suggestions : If they make the sitting arrangements little more interesting it will be perfect as I found it very normal and bit congested. Another is cutlery arrangements on table can be improved as everything was not on table as per our need.
Overall I can say it is a must go place. Do visit and enjoy.

Now coming to the foods and liquors, they are serving their own beers.we had tried some of their beers its was really fantastic.we ordered Pizza Rtb, Gondoraj chicken, barbeque chicken wings and chicken teriyaki it was okiesh.They serve hookah for 500 or 600 including tax and additional 50 rupees for coal change. The place was fantastic, Service was perfect and ambience was fabulous. Experience was really good.

Visited this pub last Saturday and had a nice time. The place is quite big and very nicely decorated with hanging lights and paintings. There are few indoor games options as well.
In drinks we had Belgian wit, German wheat and LIIT.
Both the brewed beers were really good but LIIT wasn’t that good it lacked the flavour.
In food ordered BBQ Chicken wings, Meaty pizza and Chicken teriyaki.
BBQ chicken wings was average. The pizza was really good, it was based on thin crust and tasted so good. Chicken teriyaki was good too.
The staffs were very courteous and food and drinks were served quickly.
I visited the place for office party. Place is pretty good with nice ambiance. There is private place also which is available for big party or family gathering. Hard drinks also available. One must try Gandhoraj chicken, dish is fabulous. I never had such kind of dish in any other place. But if you try something North Indian dish then this place is not good. Various type of beer and cocktail also available. Restaurant is situated in Godrej waterside building. Must visit to try Gandhoraj Chicken. Bit costly than other restaurant, good for official dinner or party.
You should definitely go and hang around with your friends. You could even play some games and win prizes. Food is good and service is also good enough.
Ambience- 5/5, the lady DJ on our day had a great choice of music which was adding special charm to the beautiful ambience.
Food- 4.5/5, we ordered red wine, rum, cilantro rice with grilled chicken, gandharaj chicken and chicken pizza. The beverages were perfect and I hope this doesn't need an extra mention when u r speaking about such a renowned bar. But the food was unexpectedly good. The gandharaj chicken was superb with juicy and tender minced chicken. The pizza was okayish, thin crusted with a lot of cheese. I personally loved the cilantro rice with grilled chicken. The chicken breast pieces were perfectly grilled, the cilantro rice was way too tasty and so were the sauted veggies along with it.
Service- 5/5. The man who was serving us was very very well mannered and professional. He welcomed us in a very cordial manner and guided us with our order in a very polite way.
Overall, I am very much impressed with raize and will look forward to visit here again...

This place have brewery with lots of options. Foods are delicious, also the coctails are good. The place have dance floor and loud music. Perfect place for corporate parties. The staffs are well behaved and helpful.
Starting with the best which I like is food.
The taste of food here is better as compared to other bar. You can enjoy veg and non veg both options are of great taste. Service is also good but the ambience and environment is not as per my expectations. It could be better and needs little improvement. Overall it's a good place to visit.

They are running fish festival, where you can have amazing fish items including pomfret, squid, prawn and many more.
Each dishes are very flavourful and the fishes are really fresh.
They have a very good ambience, with slow music which will lit up your mood and also they serve in house beer 🍺. For those who wanna enjoy having some drinks.
And yeah they have Happy Hours everyday from 12pm-7pm.

I was searching for handcrafted beer and found this place. Probably the best place for crafted beer. Happy hours is 12-7pm. Whooping 30% off on total bill! Except for the hookah. I would recommend the german and belgian ale crafted beer. The belgian flavor is unmatched. The rose flavor and mango flavored are okay. The ambience is really cool and will make you high even when you drink just beer lol! Perfect for weekend evening crashing. Smoking counter is available. Parking is available inside. It is under a different business site. The vibe, music, ambience is perfect. There is a better view of outside also. The jerked pizza was fresh and just perfect. The bbq chicken wings was good but could be better. The service of staffs are really polite.

Felt a bit old in our last visit to this place. It is one of the hip and happening bar with dj and dance floor frequented by the young crowd of sector 5. And, our bunch was a middle aged group of a bygone era. But, having said that, it was good fun.
We had German, Belgian, Stout beers, some cocktails, and then capped off with some Irish Whiskey. The taste of the draft beers were good but I thought they would need to refine the taste a bit to stand apart from the increasing competition of the micro-brewery.
The food was very good. We had -
Green Chili Chicken (never seen before but quite good)
French Fries (Served with Ketchup and Kasundi, ask for Mayo separately)
Crispy Baby Corn (fantastic crisp that stayed on for quite long)
Chicken Tandoori (well marinated with good char)
Tandoori Pomfret (good but not excellent)
Gondhoraj Murg (Served as a satay with coriander chutney)
We need to commend the manager Amlan and the host of waiters, especially Tania, for the fantastic support lend to our ever demanding bunch. Fantastic staffs. Nice ambiance.

I was there at this beautiful place, happening if I may call it, during their Fish-tival, such a unique name. It is still running though. Having tried so many delicious items, right from their Lote Fry to Thai dishes, it was all a wonderful experience. My favorite item would certainly be their Prawn with Mango Salsa. You must visit RTB and try these seafood dishes.
