We went there for our second anniversary...Easy to locate as it is at a stones throw distance from Peter cat. The lobby is very well decorated and Aaira is on the first floor of the building(The Myx).
The decor is subtle and soothing.
The staff was friendly and courteous.
Since we bought a coupon.. The menu was limited.
We started with the mocktail...We were disappointed when we only got 2 options to choose from : Fresh lime juice or blue lagoon..We chose the later.
Then we ordered murg jahangiri shorba...It was a pale yellow soup with diced chicken pieces at the bottom.
It was good..3.5/5
Then for the starter we had Aaira speciality Pahari Machli...It is bhetki fish marinated with indian herbs with tandoori spices..It was soft and delicious.possibly the best we had from the menu...5/5.
For the main course we ordered Murg Afsha, Pulao, Dalma and butter naan.
By the time we had half naan we already felt full..e underestimated the quantity.
Murg Afsha 4/5...had lots of chicken chunks.
Pulao had veggies with fresh paneer pieces...5/5.
Dalma was a bad choice from our end..as it was not going well either the rice or butter naan...though it was good...3.5/5.
And at last we had gulab jamun...It was yummy...4.5/5.
Complementary meetha pan completed the meal for us.
The staff member samanto was very helpful and friendly and gave a chocolate stick to our baby.
We would love to visit Aaira again to try other delicacies offered by them, especially their mutton preparation and potli fish biryani.
Fantastic kebab platter and mutton rang. Each of the items on the platter was distinctly and deliciously different from each other. Huge portion size. Very prompt service. Highly recommend.
From mumbai kalyan . Recently i visited kolkata i visited aaira at park street had awesome food over here and potli biryani (fish) was best which i had . Good staff and chef had word with him . Must visit if u visit kolkata.
Delicious food.Out of all the items I had, I can genuinely not compliant regarding a single dish. Everything was so perfect_the shorba, the potato starter, roti was so fresh n crisp, garlic Nan-Best ever I have tasted... Dal makhmali was finger licking.. It's a Must place to go
A wonderful Dining Experience
As it was our second anniversary, we wanted to go to a fancy place to dine, and while surfing #zomato, we zeroed down to this place. The place was a bit crowded but the manager and the Hospitality staff made sure, we have a wonderful experience.
Food was Awesome and the mellow jazz instrumentals set the mood.
The price was reasonable as well.
One of the best food i have had in kolkata.. Within 2 weeks i went there 4 times so that well explains how its food was.. I would have rated it 6 stars also if i could.. Do try cheese chilli kulcha, dal makhani and paneer jhalfrezi its jus amazing

Aaira is a very well-known and one of the most popular place around park street area. Most of the foodie people are surely familiar with this place. Aaira is located at 1st floor, Myx building just beside of KFC Park Street. The ambiance of the place was very good looking, the interior was bright, classy and elegantly furnished. The seats were too comfortable and can accommodate more than 50 pax at a time.
We visited there at very odd timing like around 5:30PM So that we had to wait outside for almost 20mins as the working hours of this place was Mon-Sun: 12noon – 3:30pm, 6pm – 11:30pm. After grab our seats we quickly order few of their recommended dishes from their menu. We are literally starving but then again we waited more 20mins to get our starters.
Coming to the food which we had –
IN Starters –
Murgh Rozali Kebab (Costs Rs.385/-) – I highly recommended this preparation as many of you didn’t had this type of kebab before. Basically this was stuffed cheesy minced chicken coasted with tandoori spices and cooked in a clay oven like a Mughlai style. My taste buds goes dancing after having this and the flavors were just burst into our mouth. We cannot forget the tastes very long.
IN Main Course –
Hyderabadi Murgh Biryani (Costs Rs. 375/-) – For biryani lovers like me, main course sounds incomplete without having them. It was Hyderabadi biryani but it not tastes like that actually and even it wasn’t taste like Kolkata biryani as well. It tastes very similar to pulao with having succulent pieces of chicken. Tastes Okayish.
Ghost Kadai Masala (Costs Rs.495/-) – Mutton pieces were cooked with perfection and served in a kadai. The gravy was very rich in flavor and you can have it with rice or roti.
IN Desert –
Mint Gulab Jamun with baked cheese cake & pineapple rabri (Costs Rs. 325/-) –After having this our taste buds goes wow and they won our heart completely. Definitely a must try dish.
The food was tastes beyond our expectation and our overall experience was damn beautiful except their service and they need a little bit of renovation cause some parts of wall seems damaged.
The best north indian food I tasted here. When I entered the restaurant, it was totally empty no guests were there. I was thinking that food might not be good. Surprisingly it proved me wrong. Every item starting from appetizers, Biryani and roti all were exceptionally good. Naan was so soft I can’t even think of.
Very Good tasty food. Had fish Biryani and it was awesome.
Very Supportive staff !!
Less crowded and have a beautiful romantic ambience..interiors are woww..
Celebrating my friends birthday.. they allowed cake cutting and turned on birthday song...
About the food, all the items we had tasted just awesome...pocket pinch is ok according to zomato's review.. dessert item is just woww..bt the price of the desserts are much higher than food...2 piece mini golap janum with cake and rubri is 665/-......stuffs were well behaved...
Beside this, i recommended this resturent and wanted to visit again..
A casual late night stroll along with a friend of mine demanded a quick bite and without much thinking, we opted for the one which was immediately near to us and thus the Aaira.
Upon entry the calm, composed and warm atmosphere greeted us. The staffs were extremely soft spoken and the ambience was very soothing (not for the guys like us). After a few moments of hesitation with the quietness, we started our normal chit chats as the guests were minimal and far away.
We started with a plate of kebabs and it was delivered to our table in a moment which allowed us to grab in the vibes of the surroundings. The kebabs were costly but very nicely done, which brightened our mood.
We then ordered for a Bhuna Ghost along with 2 rotis and a Hyderbadi biryani for both of us. The preparation would take some time so the server informed us and also if we would like a drink or something. Since we both are non-drinkers, we declined and they nodded in acceptance.
The food appeared after a while and the quantity of the food was quite much. We did literally enjoyed our food but did not like the Hyderabadi Biryani, maybe, because of the way it is essentially prepared.
Overall, the experience was quite satisfactory.
Visited the place during Durga puja. Ambience was really good. Ordered chicken rozali kabab which tasted delicious, also ordered fish potli biriyani which is just wow.
Their service was a bit slow.
This is my second time visit to Aaira. The place is so much good and the ambience is also very calm. The staffs are very cooperative and helpful. The food is too good We ordered hyderabadi dum biryani and a mutton dish. The mutton was present so good that I would like to have it again on my next visit. The food was fresh and the mutton was so juicy and tender. It was prepared in the perfect way it should be in..The price of food is reasonable. The amount of biryani it serves is enough for two...It would recommend every one to visit this restaurant..And I would love to visit here again ..
Not so gd food .. it can better .. ambience is grt .. all I can say ..2 star for aaira !
A quite and amazing place Food is great and outstanding ambience A must go good crowd and a very nice service
A pretty good place for fine dining in Park Street.
I would especially recommend the grilled prawn dish Jhinga Nizami for people who love their spices. It's something to remember for a very long time!♥️
This place is one of the best Mughlai cuisine in town. This place is located at parkstreet myx building.
We ordered for :-
1. Murgh Rozali kebab.
2. Murgh reshmi kebab.
3. Hyderabadi Murgh biryani.
4. Murgh Peshawari.
As expected I was fully satisfied. The ambience is so good. This place is a must try for the ones who love Mughlai.
The ambience of the place is really nice. Went for dinner with my family. The staff was polite and courteous. The food is amazing in taste. Overall a very pleasant experience.
The food is just wow. Very few places can offer actually good north Indian food and this seems to be a part of that list. And Gold membership makes it so affordable.
Visited with friends on Saturday afternoon and there was no one present apart from us. Ordered Raan e Aira which is a big Mutton leg piece and it was quite tasty. The other ordered foods were quite delicious. But not all the items fall under Zomato Gold, that's a bit confusing part. Overall it was a good experience to be there.
A really beautiful place,I loved the ambience and the atmosphere.
The food was amazing but the service could have been better.
This place is a must try for the ones who love mughlai❤Aaira
Good food and ambience good.

This beautiful restaurant is located in the first floor of The Myx. So, you'll get valet parking too.
The deco and the sitting is awesome. We ordered their signature Murg rozali kebab and Lucknowi Gosht Biriyani.
The kebab was too good..huge quatity too. The biriyani was awesome too. Again, quantity was huge.
Totally, value for money. Surely, recommendable.
Plus, Zomato Gold makes it light in the pocket too.
We went there for lunch with friends. Location was very popular. It is just opposite to the pitter cat. We ordered some popular items. In starter we ordered murg alishan, papri chat, chicken rosali kabab, raan e aira. It was very tasty. I am very impressed with this dishes. Specially raan e aira and rosali kabab. In main course we ordered fish poutli biriyani and rara mutton. This was popular dishes for this restaurant. As expected I was fully satisfied. This taste was quite unique. Ambience was very impressive. I am giving 5 star for this poutli biriyani and starters.
Hello frnds.. Yesterday I visited AAIRA n this was my 3rd visit... We ordered cheese taftan, rozali kabba, n chigra jinga.. As stater.. Bt first two was delicious n signature its tast... Bt most dissapointing was tha CHINGA JINGA... DEEP FRIED PRAWNS STUFFED WITH SOMETHING.... ITS COST 595 n let me tell u it was just waste of money..In main course we orderd mutton biryani which was ok.. Bt their signature dish RAN -A -AIRA was something mouth watering pls try this.. Overall a good experience.
Honestly speaking, I didn't expect the biriyani here to be this good!
We went for the main course directly as we only had ' biriyani' in our minds and had ordered the following:
1. Subz biriyani (for the vegetarian of our group and she said it was worth all the time we waited for the food to arrive)
2. Lucknowi ghosht biriyani ( this was the show stealer, hence, highly recommended)
3. Fish potli biriyani (the presentation was pretty enough, but the taste could have been a lot better)
4. Murgh tikka lazeez masala.
I wish only the service was a bit more prompt.
Fine interior with good food.
Not very crowed on weekend with is the best part about ths place.
Love going to aaira for having good Veg North Indian Food.
Nice food and overall ambiance.
The guy serving, needs to tone down the attitude. (Mr. Swadhin), just bit of supervision. Thanks for the nice food.
After long days of wait,we cousins planned to visit some good restaurant..so we chose aaira to explore it..well surprisingly it was a nice experience..the biriyani was very good..better than arsalan and aminia..every dish was a bonus..it is a must visit place..
Great food, good quantity and polite service. Enjoyed my meal. Chicken was tender soft, naan breads we're fluffy, all over a very nice experience.
This was our first time Gold Membership wala dining. We have ordered Hyadrabadi Murgh Biryani and Murgh Lazeez Tikka Masala.
The taste of the Biryani was okay , the boneless chicken pieces of the biryani was so tasty and mouthwatering. The Tikka Masala was a liitle bit Spicy.

One of the best North Indian Restaurants in Calcutta I will say.The menu has lot to offer and The dishes served are just yum.We went directly to their main course and Ordered "Dal Makhmali","Vegetable Keema".In Breads we ordered "Masala Kulcha" & "Zaatar Roti".Everything was prepared to perfection.Zatar Roti is Roti topped with Arabic Zatar Powder which has strong smell. It was fine. Can be experimented.Service is fine.Pocket pinch is on the higher side.
It has nice ambience and staffs are friendly. Food is good but costly.
They can manage tables well which we found lacking.

A royal cuisine with a majestic milieu, Aaira, the fine dining Indian restaurant from the house of Myx, is placed at Park Street, Kolkata. Located on the first floor, the 60 seater restaurant is spread over an approximate area of 2,000 sq ft. Aaira is located on the 1st floor of The Myx, in park street which is one such places which caters variety of resturants. It is exactly few mins walking distance from the Parkstreet metro gate no.1. This place is very popular and famous resturant and known for its typical north indian cuisines. We also went there to try their famous north indian dishes.
But before going straight into what we ordered , let me tell you in brief about this place. Aaira is really beautiful from inside, right from their decor to the ambience and the interiors specially looks top notch. There is a huge waterfall in the middle giving it a very retro vibe. The staffs are also very responsive and their hospitality is something to mention about.

The above all the dishes were very good in taste. But being a non vegetarian lover, still i am craving for that dahi ke kebab and the banarasi malai kofta. They were fabulous in taste. And ofcourse the biryani and the variety of naans with the murgh dishes were heart warming. It was very amazing in taste and i highly recommend you to try all the above dishes. If not all, few of them and you will not be dissapointed at all.
Will be surely visiting here again and again.
Thanks, Aaira for your warm welcome and great hospitality.
Until next time❤️

This time I'm not giving the rating of each dish according to their taste as I loved each and every item . Every item mentioned here is recommended . So do visit the place and try these items . Hope you are gonna love this place also.
veg starter platter was awesome. i reduced one star because of the raw masala kulcha full of butter. it simply ruined my meal. even dal makhni was too thick n little blande. please keep everything upto the mark
This restaurant is situated in the first floor of Myx opposite Peter Cat in the Park Street area. It's cozy place with classy interior design. They serve delicious North Indian and Afgani delicacies.
We booked a nearby coupon of 5 course non veg meal and ordered:
▪️Tomato Dhaniya Shorba
▪️Murgh Charminar
▪️Banarasi Pulao
▪️Murgh Alisan
▪️Dalma
▪️Vanilla Ice cream
Food was delicious. Quality and quantity was good. Staff are well behaved. It's a nice place to go with family, friends and loved ones.
Aaira is one of the finest gastro pubs in Park Street area, hidden in the 1st floor of The Myx Building. As we stepped in, we found that the restaurant was completely empty, not even a single customer and that's when we started doubting about the quality of the food and drinks served. The only question that ran through our head was why isn't there a single customer if this is a good place??? But nonetheless, the interior decor is quite captivating and the chairs are really comfortable. Anyways, we ordered Pomegranate Mojito and Gin Cocktail and Aaira Mixed Tandoor Platter. The moment we put the drinks and food in our mouth, our doubts evaporated in seconds.
The drinks were finely executed with every bit of details and the tandoori is one of the best in town, served with 3 types of dipping sauce. Very tender and smoked to perfection. All in all, had a really good time and can't think of a reason why I shouldn't be here again.
Decent food. Cooperative staff. However these people don't join tables for a larger group. Seats available during peak hours on weekdays. Decent ambience. Chutney is good. Dal
Makhani is good. Mixed veg not that great. A lil pricy
This place is located at the 1st floor of Myx,opposite to Peter cat with a cozy ambience serving delicious north indian and mughlai food.
Staff service is pretty decent.
Price tag is quite reasonable for the quality of food they serve.
For dinner I had murgh rozali kebab & mumtaz tangdi in starters, potli fish biryani and garlic naan with murgh afsha in the main course.
From starters to all the main course items everything was cooked to perfection,I just loved all of them especially potli fish biryani and murgh rozali kebab.
I would highly recommend everyone to give a try to murgh rozali kebab and potli fish biryani as they were really awesome in taste.
I would definitely love to visit this place again to try out other authentic mughlai dishes.
Aaira is located at the 1st floor of Myx. Been there at 24th December, place was not crowded at afternoon. We ordered Murgh Rozali Kebab which was great and Achari Machli which was good too. Also ordered Lucknowi Mutton Biryani which was a let down for me because the rice tasted like Hyderabadi Biryani and has potato like Kolkata biryani.
It was a mixed experience. Will go there again to try out some more dishes.
One of the high end Indian restaurants on the park Street belt. A hidden gem to be honest. Lovely kebabs and main courses on offer. Would recommend the kebab platter here. Prices are steep but hey if you see the decor and ambience I would be ok paying a bit higher for it. Mocktails could be revamped out a bit. It's kinda cliche for me. The menu is vast diverse and authentic. Good place and a must try.
Food tastes too good. Good quantity. But staffs are quite indifferent. Reception system isn't good. We went for anniversary lunch and it was just after puja Doshomi so place was empty infact they don't have enough beer stocks.
Aaira is situated in park street . This place is famous for their north indian delicacies. We went there to take durga puja special lunch. We ordered chicken hariyali kebab , fish tikka in starter , 2-3 pegs of BP & 1 planter's punch cocktail in drinks , 1 Lucknowi murg biriyani , 1 murgh makhana & 1 butter naan in main course. Food was awesome , finger licking , perfectly cooked. 1 handi of Biriyani was sufficient for 2 adults. But this place is very costly. Our total bill was Rs 4450/- .

You can get n numbers of biriyanis from different states of India. Also kebabs are must try item. Presentation of every dishes were excellent. Must recommend!!
The ambience is good. Went for a romantic candle light dinner with my wife and loved the setting. We ordered food without onion and garlic, and as there were not many options available, the dishes served were good.
Awesome ambience...Food quality is just excellent, presentation of food is outstanding with tummy full quantity. Must try those kebab platters and whole bhetki platter...It's fully mouthwatering.

We ordered murgh Reshmi kebabs two portions, 3 fresh lime sweet 4 portion of butter tandoori roti one portion of roomali roti and one portion of murgh patiyala and murgh makhani.

I can just wow. Very good ambience. And very good romantic ambience. If any you willing to for a date then this is the best place. Food are very tasty. Personally I recommend pardewali Biriyani this is one of signature dish. And plz plz try rozali kebab, this was heaven.
The place is good.
The food is good, dal makhani is awesome.
Everyone you visit this place, it has few number of customers. But this does not mean the place is not good. It adds to the advantage as the place remains calm and quiet, and therefore you can enjoy your food along with your family or friends.
I have deducted 1 star because i believe the place needs some maintenance with respect to wall paints and furniture.
On 8th of August I finally paid a visit to this restaurant after being bookmarked for a long time. Its located in the heart of Park Street . We went during the kebab festival and tried Gulmohar kebab. From the main menu we ordered Afgani tandoor, Potli fish biriyani ( one of their signature dish and my favourite too) and Murg peshwari. All the dishes tasted really good. However the service is really slow and that’s the only major drawback of this restaurant.
Visited this place for a farewell party and it was a very nice experience. Ambience and hospitality was more than good. Food quality was really really nice.
Ordered different cuisines:
- as Starters:
Murgh nawabi tilwali kebab (this one was really good) and,
- as Main course:
Lucknowi gosth biryani (awesome)
Garlic naan, butten naan,
Kashmiri naan(something new),
rogan Josh(average),
murgh makhani(good).
Price compared to quality of the food and ambience looks OK to me.
It was a nice experience. Visited with family. My daughter faced no problem consuming the food (6 years). Nice attendants. The ambiance was nice too. We ordered a raan, peas pollow, stuffed potato, chicken sobra, tanduri roti and hara vara kebab. All tasted good.
We visited this place after finding out the ratings on Zomato. When we arrived we were the only ones to be there that evening, so we were a bit hesitant about our choice initially.
But slowly and steadily people started turning up.
We ordered a couple mocktails and a couple kababs from their new kebab menu.
The dahi kabab and the gulmohar kabab were both equally tasty and well presented.
Next for mains we ordered the potli biryani and the murg Peshawari. Needless to say, both were yummy , well presented.
The only negative about our visit this time was there was a long wait for the main course items to arrive.
Apart from that we had no complaints, the ambience, the service , the food totally explains the rating this place has on Zomato.
I loved this place as ambience was really nice and music was soothing . Now coming to the food we ordered kiwi mango smoothie (refreshing and a must try) .then for starters we had chicken rozali kebab which tasted like heaven with cheese filling and gosht paturi kebab . For main course we had garlic naan , butter naan , masala kulcha , murgh mughlai masala and gosht spicy masala . The hyderbadi dum chicken biriyani is another must try over here . They served complimentary papad and paan at the end . Everything tasted so yum . Overall nice place .
Very well decorated place, most of all food was very tasty...we took... chicken rozali kabab (must try), ghosht paturi kabab, butter naan, garlic naan, masala kulcha, hydrabadi biriyani, mutton kalmiri, murgh mughlai. All of them was really good, stuff is also friendly, only problem was delayed service, although overall a good experience
Dining was awesome , prices are a bit higher but it's food quality and quantity is worth the money there are many signature dishes like Murg Lemon grass Potli , Murg Rosali kebab,
Lucknow ghost biryani, Bhindi aamchur, Birbal Batata etc. The ambiance is nice , behaviour of the people is good. You can expect crowd during special occasions. All I would say everything was fine.
The ambience here is too good.
Just awesome and unique.
They have very cosy seats.
The ambience is really appreciated.
However the food that is served doesn't quite match the quality as per the price.
The ambience does Justify the food cost but the taste isn't that too good.
Had tried their Chicken tandoori.. around₹375 for a chunk of chicken.
The Banarasi polao was very tasty.
The daalma was good
And also the fish dish was good .
Aaira, is a large sized luxurious restaurant offering Mughlai and North Indian Dishes. It's located in the 1st Floor of Myx, Middleton Row at Park Street Kolkata. It's the very same street where you would find Peter Cat and Flurys Restaurants too. One can have elevator access to this place.
It's been a wonderful experience over here with all the finger licking dishes and every dish tasted awesome...Feels like having them over and over again. Moreover the atmosphere was quite soothing with a soft music in the background and water works with interior decoration.....
I would like to suggest some dishes which we ordered:
Jingha Nizami
Raan-e-Aaira
Murgh Rozali Kebab
Murgh Peshawai
Murgh Patiyala
Mutton Afreen
Hyderabadi Murgh Biriyani
Kesariya Chenna Payash
Hot Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream
Lilly Top
Green Apple NOJITO
Kiwi and Mango Smoothie
Litchi and Strawberry Smoothie
We have been 4 and increased our appetite to reach for all the above-mentioned menu. Raan e Aaira and Jingha Nizami have been tremendously wonderful...and kiwi mango smoothie and Lilly top too joined the same delight...All the foods were prepared and served with great care and attention with exotic spices simply enhancing the taste of each dish. As earlier mentioned this is a luxurious restaurant so it did go a bit heavy on pockets, costing around 1.1k per person.
This restaurant is Highly recommended and would surely like more and more persons to have a visit over here....and we too would like to visit again!!!! The tastes still runs in our tongue and nose......

Indian food and Traveling
+4
Visited this place for the first time and to be honest I was highly satisfied with the quality and taste of the food that was served .
First we ordered Mocktails:
Shirley Temple - A mixture of Orange and lime littlebit tangy in taste (must try)
Grape Berry Cooler - creamy and sweet in taste (must try)
In Starters we ordered
Murgh Rozali Kebab -Kebab Stuffed with cheese in the middle,it has total 8 pieces ( a must try dish )
In main course we ordered
Masala Kulcha - Very small is size habit very good in taste
Murgh Peshawari - Shredded chicken pieces mixed with rich Indian gravy goes really well with kulcha
Worst point - I ordered a bottle of mineral water they charged us Rs 100 for a litre but the MRP was only Rs 60
Food taste is better than average, portion size for main course should be improved to commensurate the pricing. Ambience is fine. Restaurant size is mid sized probable with 8-10 tables
Tasty food.
Nice ambience.
Reasonable price.
Service is ok ok.. Not great.
Very nice well decorated restaurant with nicely behaved cooperative stuffs.. Interior and food both are awesome..
