Absolutely amazing breakfast experience at this famous, renowned place in south kolkata. Maharani has maintained its tradition, quality and adheres to safety standards. The kochuri is delicious & the desserts are amazing as well. Overall, a wonderful experience that I recommend to everyone because of the outstanding food! 5*
Awesome jalebi and gulab jamuns at the cheapest price all over Kolkata. And the quality of jalebi is not like in the melas. It's like actual jalebis. Loved their kochuris and alu tarkari. And the main usp is that they don't serve you cold food. Only the time taken is to deliver from shop.
The hinger kochuris, singaras, and jilipis were still hot when they arrived 20 mins after ordering. Everything was delicious. The kochuris are everything they are hyped up to be and the taste has remained just as good over the years
What if life is all about good food only.
Ahh,The dream land.
Maharani explains every emotion together.
Location : sarat bose road close to desopriyo park crossing .
My life and almost all sundays rotate around this only.
My sundays are incomplete without having kochuri and gorom chaa along with jalebus from MAHARANI.
The price is literally too nominal within 30 rupess you can have all of these 3.
The portions are quite heavy .
Also special mention to the chutney they provide you with the aloo ki sabji.
Waiting for this lockdown to get ovver and get my life back on track.

Ordered through swiggy -
the epic Hinger Kochuri with potato curry is just a bliss. Some singaras and sweets - juicy jalebi with its sugary syrup dripping from the side, Malpua, Goja to pamper my buds.
Mind blowing hing kachuris they serve with a perfectly matched alur torkari . And after gulping the kachoris you will have to try the syrupi jilipis. It is situated in the lake market area.Happy fooding
Winters rituals at home always were special with food being prepared specially during winters like, gajar halwa and sarso saag! .
.
What if you crave different weather in winters, you feel it through the food! .
.
An ode to summers with this delicious dry fruit lassi from maharani tea stall!
They are also famous for their special tea and kachauri Sabji! Head there for a perfect brunch on sundays

Well this is a place for breakfast or evening snack.I would recommend their hing kachori with sabji for sure.Try their jalebi and gulab jamun as dessert.Their Tea is also good.I found this outlet to be one of the best kachori sellers in town.Quality and taste are also pretty good.
An age old eatery serving Aloo subzi, Kachuri ( Poori), Sweets like Jalebi, Malpua and Tea. Priced reasonably it's a good place for a scrumptious UP style brrakfast in Kolkata.
Very Great experience it was. You must visit this place. If you're new in the town take help from google map. It's very easy to find. The food quality is outstanding. If you eat once you will feel like flying in the sky.. 😆
The kachori and jalebis are very very tasty. The green chilly pickle given with the kachori is something unique but tasty. Yet to try their malpua, gulab jamun and tea.
One of the oldest local breakfast and evening snacks outlets in South Calcutta. Located opposite to a petrol pump other side of the road, looks bit filthy usually, but probably the best one in the neighborhood. Try Kachauri, jalebi, gulabjamun and milk tea in morning and evening.
Located near Deshapriya park crossing. Finger licking & pocket friendly food items are here to treat yourself. We had Singara, Hing Kachori, Jalebi. Singara was so delicious. Mouth-watering Kachori and its curry was so tasty.. Crispy Jalebi was ultimate at the end. It's truly a hidden gem of Kolkata.
Located at sarat bose road just opposite desapriya park petrol pump. Tried their kachori, jalebis and gulab jamun. Each food items taste good. One of my favorite kachori shop I must say. Very much pocket friendly. Must visit.
It's the best. From food quality to the price. It's a marvelous place for morning tea and a happy breakfast. It's also one of the oldest joints in the city. People usually take their food and eat in their car or take it home.

Most of them items are priced 7 bucks..
Tried their jalebi and malpoya.... They were freshly made... Jalebi was quite large enough... Malpoya was perfect in terms of its sweetness...

Treat yourself to a pocket friendly and finger licking good breakfast at Maharani😋
Most certainly the queen of all Kachori shops, tucked away in a cosy corner in Deshapriya Park, Maharani is an absolute must visit place on your Kolkata bucket list. The shop opens in the wee of dawn and has customers flocking to them from near and far just to be able to soak in the delicious and mind boggling flavours. A heads up to the prices that are so low that all you have to do is carry a few pennies but go back with full and happy tummies.
From customers arriving in the longest BMWs to cycling down on the oldest bicycle, Kolkata unites at Maharani!
If you are crazy for jilipi or swarbhaja, or even if you are wanting for a special-taste tea, I would suggest you this place- Maharani, located at the lake market area, quite close to Deshapriya park.
Jilipi (7/ piece) is quite good in their house.
A very old outlet for having tea, kachori, and sweets. This place is located in the opposite street of Deshapriya Park. It requires 2 mins walk. It's a nice place to have food though it's a bit inconvenient and the place isn't very clean either.
The place is a “puri kachori” paradise.Apart from the puri kachori one should also try the jalebi and their tea is also great altogether a complete package.
Okay! Hidden Gem Alert!!!!
If you havent visited this lovely place yet please do visit.
Basically a street side shop mainly for takeaway serving chai and snacks, sweets and some others. A perfect place to have your chai adda or breakfast. Hing kachori needs a special mention. I can go again and again to have those beautiful hing kachoris.
Oh wait did i mention about their jalebis and Gulab Jamun. They specialize in these as well.
Overall a happy place for breakfast or evening snacks or your chai wali adda!
Very nice place.... The foods are very tasty .... specially after a moring or an evening walk ...... The hing kachuaris are really good the quality of food is also good the samosas and the jilapis are also very tasty ....overall its a great place .........
This place is really popular. One should try jalebis, tea and kachoris from here. Everything is served hot. I often satisfy my hunger cravings by having kachoris from this place. Though I am not a fan of kachoris, but they really make delicious kachoris.Perfect for evening snacks

Are you jalebi lover? If yes then you must have jalebi of Maharani....small outlet but it has made a great place in everyone’s heart...whether it’s garma garam kachauri ,Samosa,Gulab jamun or Jalebi..every item is tasty and fresh....very pocket friendly and delicious items will force you to come again and again
Located at 174, Sarat Bose Road, opposite to the Desapriya Park Petrol Pump, Maharani is a sprawling breakfast paradise.
I got acquainted with this place on a fine winter morning two years back while strolling around the locality. It’s always crowded, the day starts in the wee hours of dawn with a plate of delectable hing kachuries, coupled with a piping hot cup of chai. Then, there are alluring Gulab Jamun and crispy Jalebi as well to finish it off.
So, if you are nearby, you can come and try the queen of all Kachori shops that is Maharani!
Quintessential Kolkata Cha'er Dokaan.
Their very popular (and rightly so), Hing'er Kochuri is a must must must. I especially crave for them in the monsoons. The best accompaniment would be an earthen cup of steaming tea.
The one thing I must mention is that they don't compromise on the quality/taste of tea even during peak hours, which almost all tea stalls do. Their tea has always been consistent.
One less star for hygiene, otherwise it's a top!

A perfect place for a morning breakfast or an evening quick bite.
This place is famous for it's kachori Sabji, jalebi, chai and samosa.
Just nearby to the Deshapriya park crossing.
A must visit place.
This place is famous for it's gorom gorom kochuri , singara and gulab jamun. Also don't miss out on the chai . The kochuri is served with aloor torkari and pickled chillis . A must try for all if you're kochuri lovers.
This place features in the Sunday morning breakfast goals of many. After a short/long drive or walk to Lake Road park yourself on the footpath! Yes, this is a small roadside stall at Lake Road. If you want to seat and eat you will have to grab your plate and seat on the stairs of near by shops. But it's amazing.... Both the experience of seating on the foot early in the morning and digging into yummy hing kachori with several other patron's. I specially like the masala chilli that accompanies their kachori and singara. The jeleb's too are very good, not too sweet and crispy. U also have options for malpua (which is too oily) and gulab jamun too. And at the end of it all don't forget to have hot tea in earthen Khullar. Your winter morning will be sorted.
Savour Kochuri and Jilipi at Maharani Tea Shop and indulge in a satisfying breakfast. All you have to do is spend a few pennies and you can earn a full and happy tummy.
Known to have visitors from the daily passer-by to a celebrity, Maharani is a must visit. It is tucked in a lane near Desapriya Park.
Call it the queen of snack shops? That's why the name. Maybe.
Good Food. Nice quantity.Timely Delivered.Good Behaviour.Recomend others to have a try on this food joint. Although it's a popular food joint.
The best kachori in town. Lip smacking and served hot. Try gulab jamun and the tea after the kachori treat. It's awesome. Highly recommended.
Amazingly good. The best kachori and chai in town. Can't even compare any other place with this one. As per market the rate is quite affordable. And the taste is top notch. Love for them. Their Jalebi is just love. Must must try place for kachori lovers.
Got to know about this place from zomato and went there yesterday. It's on the main road. I found their tea to be more satisfying than their food😌 After reading the reviews i was very excited to taste their food but i have to say i was expecting a lot more than what i got. The kochuri tasted good but they wern't hot so a minus point for that. The malpoah was good,my friend BIJIT MONDAL ate 2 of them and the gulab jamuns were good too but small in size. I loved their tea❤the small size is rs.7,medium- rs.10 and the bhars were really pretty,it looked somewhat like "choto kolshi" 😝
You get perfect street food here. The kachori sabzi is served extremely hot in the evening and its heaven. Sometimes we do drive from Bhawanipur to this place just for a sip of tea. Highly recommended.
I will not say anything about the kachori because its beyond best. After the kachori, I ordered one malpoah and a gulab jamun. They were too good. The gulab jamun just melted in my mouth. And the malpoah was so lip smacking too. Loved it.
Oh my God.... You have to eat here if you want to truly experience the kolkata street food that is so famous. I personally recommend the kochuri with the potatoes on the side and the special tea they serve. Everything is fresh, piping hot and filled with wholesome goodness. Do not miss this!
Rated 5 out of sheer nostalgia. Have been eating here since the last two decades, as I stay just across the road. . From a time when there was only maharani. No maharaja etc. The taste remains the same. The kachori sabzi and the jalebis are my favourite. The samosa size has diminished over the years , though. Not very partial to their samosas. Way too salty, small & way less of the fillings. So have been giving it a miss. Also, am yet to come across a Calcuttan who doesn't know about Maharani. Always helps while giving a landmark 😉
This will be nd shall remain the most popular snack corner of south Kolkata, since my school days it was regular thing to visit ofcourse bcoz it is pocket friendly nd great on quality. Starting from their tea, samosa , kachori to gulab jamun nd jalebi every items are amazingly delicious. If u r low on budget nd need a quick bite this is the place to go.
Extremely good and pocket friendly place as well.Kauchauri was good soft nd crispy in taste and along with it the sabji was quite okish.Loved the gelabi out there:)
A good place to have tea and snacks with family and friends on holidays or Sundays... items such
as kachori subji and samosa are the best here.

Maharani and maharaj are the two famous tea and kachuri stalls of deshapriya park. They have variety of range of tea cups and flavours and variety of snacks too. Hing Kachori and alu ka sabzi, singhara, gulab jamun, jalebis all are extremely good in taste and tummy filling. One can finish their breakfast or snacks within 30 or 40 Rs. Hing kachori and sabzi has an aroma which attracts almost every passerby. Students or guardians or office goers can definately try this outlet for a regular basis. Maximum of my own tuitions or my students's house were in this area. So a big cup of tea, a plate of kachori and a jalebi was enough to fulfil my hunger within my budget.
Maharani... The place always full of life and warm smell of delectable Kachoris ! The place always takes me a trip down the memory lane. Most of my tuition classes were centered around Lake Market area and so was my school and college. Visiting Maharani after our classes was a routine affair and we barely missed to have those piping hot Kachoris and Alu Sabji (which tastes amazingly the same all year round) and finish things off with Gulab Jamun and Jalebi. I have left my school and college lives long back but I never miss a chance to visit Maharani whenever I am passing through that area...
A place where you fulfill your bong criteria by eating kochuri torkari and jilapi in breakfast.....
Mainly it's on open road but for food they have regular customer and all are happy after the food.
Hot gulab jamun is the next big thing.....
Must visit in the morning.....
This place is kind of a heaven for kachori lovers. The spot is situated right at the opposite of deshopriya park petrol pump, beside Zeeshan restaurant. It is the twin sister of the famous Maharaja, which is also known for the same. Kachori sabji and the tea are one of the most common and famous orders here. Apart from these, you can also try their jalebi, gulap jamuns. The place is open from morning to noon. And again they are open during evening hours also. So if anyone wants a quick bite after a nice evening drive, you can drop yourself here.
If you thinking abt breakfast, maharani is the Answer.. If you craving for evening snacks, maharani is the Answer.. Best for Hing kachori, tea, samosa and loads of adda😍😍
Unplanned visit but totally worth it. We ordered:
Kochuri with Sabzi: The taste was really good. I mean I would definitely love to have it a few more times. I also loved their simple chilli pickle.
Samosa: The filling was tasty and so was the crunch.
Tea: It was good as well.
Overall a very nice place for snacking.
I have visited this place many times the kochuris and the aloo sabzi is fantabulous along with the jalebis when you have it seems like heaven awesome
This small eatery has its big name in serving excellent hot kachoris and jalebis in the morning... The two are the must try here... One can also taste the variety of sweets and Indian snacks that they has to offer... It's a perfect place for breakfast... But they don't have a seating arrangement... You have to eat your food while you're standing...

The best hinger kochuri and jalebi.
When i get a chance to go to desapriya park i never miss an opportunity to have kochuri and jalebi from here.
Mind blowing taste.
A small kochuri shop where you can have a garma garam kochuri.
Keep it up.
I have been stopping my car here to come for kachoris and jalebis for ages. The marsala aloo they give with their hung kachori is perfect! Piping hot , well spiced and absolutely divine! You must come to this place to try it. Also , don't forget the jalebi to end meal here. I do admit that they sell fried goodness , but it isn't bad quality in the least . Definitely recommend you all to try this place .
The wafting aroma of those piping hot kachoris are sure to grab the attention of your nose and pull you towards this little corner as u walk past.. And then u cannot resist ordering a plate of your own.. Real crisp and flavourful, their kachoris are just one of the best around time.. The maharani of kachoris for sure.. The alu curry that accompanies it is just as good.. True value for money at its best when those naughty street food indulgence hits you..
Oh yes ! Probably the best way you can start your day. In Calcutta, Kochuri and Sabji is a delicacy and nobody knows it better than Maharani. Worth a try !
Awesome food at awesome price... Always fresh and piping hot food. Although every one in my family loves their kachuri but I am a huge fan of their sweets and specially jalebi.... Yum yum
Oh my God!! This is a gem of a restaurant. Best quality food at the most pocket friendly price ever possible. You have 30rs and can eat a meal like a king here. The kachoris are real hunger saviours and their tea is a must have. I’ve been at this place very early in the morning too. It’s a feast for the eyes to watch them start prepare the food for the day religiously in the morning. Pride of SB Road since years :)
This place is the best kachuri junction of southern part of the city. Kachuri, jalebi and the tea are the deadliest combination of them, quality is impressive. The place has no seating zone so you remain there with a leaf plate and nibble the sustenance up.One of the best place for roadside breakfast.
You don't have much to write about legends. Simply they know there kachori's and they r best in making so, my favourite joint for a Saturday brkfast and kulhar wali chai.

I rate it 5 very responsibly!
Voluptuous Kachoris are haunting me. Blame it on the FB post that, besides making me drool in sleep, set the untiring treasure-hunter on 'The Kachori’ yet again, landing him on the other side of the teeming city seeking immediate consummation. Now I am at ‘Maharani’ on Lansdowne Road mooting on the ways to begin my Kachori-binge. The ones I hold are consistent, freshly fried, tanned, round, indulgent, soft and coming with the quintessential 'Alu'r torkari’ to complement. What the priceless mole on upper lip did to Rekha’s face for years, the Green Chilli Pickle does exactly that to the Kachoris – enhance – turning the experience surreal.
For the uninitiated, Maharani is one of the Kachori Trinity - the rest two being The ‘Maharaja’ on Hungerford Street and ‘Potlada’r Kochuri’ on Bagbazar Street.
Maharani/Maharaj is an old gem situated in the heart of South Kolkata. Located near Deshapriya Park, it is an old wonder and a hidden gem. The huge crowds thronging there all point to the adulation this shabby old restaurant still receives.
For a Kolkatan, many a Sunday mornings are remembered by gorom gorom kochuri and jilipi(jalebi). Maharani/Maharaj offers hot, freshly fried hing kochuri at the measly price of 7 per piece. The jalebis or the pantuas are hot and fresh and even though sure to induce diabetes, is nothing short of lip smacking comfort food.
Add to that the very special, " special tea". This for me is the highlight of this place. Prepared with special spices and infused with more than a generous dollop of sugar, the tea on a cold winter night with friends by your side is the reason why Kolkata is still the adda capital of the world.
No seating arrangement. No specialized bills/tokens. No extravagant prices
No flash. No show.
Just plain old romance.
Happened to be in the Deshapriya park locality around 7:30 am with my father .So we both went to this roadside breakfast shop and had hot kachauri with "alur tarkari" along with jalebi and gulab jamun . Din ki shuruwat agar aiysa hoon to aur kya chahiye ??? 😀

Heeng Kachori and Aloo tarkari is a lovely snack for Bengalis. A plate of kachori and aloo here is a must if you come across this outlet. Kachori lovers get attracted to this place by the aroma of heeng that comes out of their kachoris.
Close your eyes and let yourself get indulged into one of the best breakfast experience of South Kolkata. Kochuri and jalebi 😍 paradise on plate.
One of the best places to have Hing Kachori and Jalebi in Kolkata. No wonder it's crowded most parts of the day. Pretty cheap and the food is delicious.
The most delicious and authentic hing kochuri in Kolkata . Located near Deshapriya Park in the Lake Market area . You will always find this place crowded . People come here for kochuri , singara and jilapis . The stuffing inside the kochuri is really good and has a fat layer of hing stuffing . The curry given with the kochuri is also very tasty . The jilapis are very crunchy . If you are a kochuri lover you need to visit this place .
Apt place to hv breakfast...hing kachori, singhara, khasta kachori n tea...vry famous in dat particular area n is always crowded...u cannot go wrong wid maharani n der hing kachori...it will want u to come back from more...
Haven't been here but my brother just got Kachori, sabji and jalebi for breakfast. The service was prompt and the food was hot even after my brother drove home.
Generally, kachori's get hard and you can't eat themm but this one was really soft. It didn't get hard even after keeping it for 7-8 hours. Taking about Jalebi, 2-3 jalebi's were slightly burnt but the taste was remarkable.
This is a good place if you want to have typical breakfast.
Have been here couple of times for morning breakfast. Kachori, jalebi and tea.. Served smoking hot. Feels great on winter mornings ! Good way to start your day.
Had chaa..jalebi and packed 10 pieces of kachori.
Though it is a bit pricey considering the road side shop but the taste will finally justify the price..
Have been sitting on this review for months. Visited this place on Navami, and was blown away by the taste. Fluffy and delicious kachuris with equally tasty sabji. That was awesome!! One of the best kachuris I have ever had. Period. The tea was very good too.
Will definitely visit this place again.

Had Jalebis,Gulab jamuns,Kachoris over a year back.Very affordable.....very tasty...best times to visit would be late noon after 4 pm or so...when these are served piping hot as it is freshly made...Or early morning.
I have grown up in the neighborhood. It started as a small shop bang opposite of where it is now. It's become a sort of a cult. Though I am not a kachori person, the kachori served in a Sal pata has its own charm I guess. Hot masala chai and the jalebi and malpoa are my favourite. It's a must when in Kolkata.
This place located opposite deshapriya park. Near monalisha guest house
. I ordered kachori sabji and hot jelebi .
The food so fresh and testy n hot jelebi 😍 crispy . Price is pocket friendly
The place is the best kachuri destination of southern part of the city. People who are regulars, can voucher for the taste and the quality of the food available here. The place has no seating area so you stand there with a leaf plate and snack the food up.
The place is at deshapriya park just opposite of the petrol pamp.we ordered mainly tea.they serve always hot tea.tea is very nice.i love this place.
A typical road side venture serving amazing street food. Quick and fast with their service and quality is maintained. Having since a very long time.
Cloudy Saturday morning, raining slightly , and pair it up with hot kachoris, finger licking sabji and hot jalebis and bhar e cha ( won't spoil the flovor translating in English ;) ) My weekend couldn't start in a better way.
Prompt service; take the plates and just stand and have it or u can also get served in cars if u park nearby.
The kachori and sabji get served with chutney and a green chilly pickle. It's heavenly.

What will happen, if you got some great quality kachuri with some finger licking sabji? Well, if you are bong, I’m sure you mouth is already full with water. :P :P
Been there few days ago with one of my friend during the evening time. The shop situated near the Sarat Bose Road crossing, near the triangular park, towards the Lake Gardens. We reached the shop near about 8PM and still it was fully active and surrounded with crowd.
After waiting for some moments, our turns came. They offers you very limited some items from their small menu item. We ordered –
Hing Kachori – Probably one of the best Kachori, I’ve ever tasted. Deep pouring from inside but soft and crunchy texture from outside brings some real authentic flavors of Bengal. The Kachori served with Aloo curry, with was also brilliantly cooked and goes perfectly well with the kachori.
Jelabi – Forget about Haldirams or Gangurams, this is one of the best street Jelabi I’ve ever had. Crunch outer layer but deep sweetness from Inside makes it really special.
Malpoa – Well this in something, which you usually don’t get in every shop. It was big in size, crunchy and deep fried but juicy from inside. Love it.
Gulab jamun – What could be the happier ending to end up your tiffin with some delicious hot gulab Jamun? Well this is something for which Maharai is also famous for! It was not too sweet unlike other shops but it had a rich flavor of sweet with some mouthwatering aroma. Fallen in love with it and also the must try item here.
Well, if you ask about pricing the most item here are around Rs. 7 which is very decent pricing! So in conclusion, I will say that, Maharani is one of the must stop destination for all kachuri lovers. Just have your tiffin here either in morning or in evening and it will surely make your mood awesome. Overall an over satisfactory Street food experience.
Maharaj and maharani 2 shops besides each other serving similar foods. Hing kachori, jalebi, masala tea etc. Starst serving from 5 am and closes very late. All the taxi and bus drivers starts their day having tea from here. All the morning walkers of the Rabindra sarovar lake area have kachories and jalebis as breakfast. Very tasty food and always bustling.
Its a basic roadside eatery, where you have to stand in the pavement to enjoy the delicasies. They serve samosas, kochuris, jilabi etc. Though they are very popular, I ve eaten these basic dishes in other places which tasted even better.
Very convenient location and a nice place to have tiffin or breakfast
Located near Deshapriya park
They serves yummy kachoris, dhoklaa, samosa, gulab jamun, jalebi, goja and many more
Tea, lassi is also available
Price range is reasonable
One of the popular breakfast joint in Kolkata.. it opens early in the morning and from the morning kachori, jalebi, tea, singara are available.. taste is average like others shop but kachori is little bit different.. best for the breakfast and quick snacks in the evening.. this is near debapriyo park ..
Nice place to have your breakfast or quick jalpaan in evening..
Taste is OK but maharaja snacks is having better taste for their cuisines and presentation of food is good too there!
Overall average experience taste can be improved just like maharaja.
Its good place to grab some hot kachori, samosa & khasta kachori, price is reasonable not too high not too cheap. They will serve you hot foods if you ask for the same. Make sure to grab a cup of tea before you leave the shop. Tea is their speciality.
One of the best kochuri-aloo torkari for breakfast in South Kolkata.
For 20rs a plate, it's sasta and very acha in taste.
Also must try their jalebi - crispy, hot and juicy.
Please note that their kochuri gets over by 11.30 on most days
Located just opposite to the Petrol pump at Sarat Bose road , Maharani tea & tiffin is one of the go to place for quality breakfast & evening snacks. Great food , large variety and reasonable price are the USP of this popular eatery.

Just to be clear. Its not maharaja. Its Maharani. Maharaja is a different place. Great place for breakfast! The tea tastes great! I just loved it! The kachori with that potato curry and that green chilli pickle put on side soothes the taste buds and give a great kick to your morning routine. The jalebi also tasted amazing. A must try place.
Lovely place, we had hing kochuri alur torkari and samosas along with malpua, gulab jamun, jalebi, ending with special tea.
I'd highly recommend the salted items and jalebi, I didn't really love the malpua it was okayish, the gulab jamun was a bit small but the jalebi was great.
The special tea was absolutely fantastic and in just 120 Rs, two adults ate so much we were completely full.
This is one of the best places for snacks on a budget near the sarobar Kalighat area and I highly recommend this.
They service milk tea and snacks.I brought 30 rs special tea that was big hug clay tea pot with milk tea and samosa with was very good in test with tamarin sweet chatni.....😁
Maharani is food take away place. They serve hot breakfast & sweets. Like samosa, kachori & sabji, jalebi gulabjamun along with hot & refreshing tea. Very crowded in the morning time as it is everyone's favorite morning snacks.
Maharani is great place to satisfy your early mornibg cravings for hot samosa or kachori sabzi. The delicious food is served piping hot. The tea is really good too.

Very good Khasta & Hing Kachauri with Aloo Sabji and Lanka Chutney, Jalebis, other Sweet items like Gulab Jamun, Malpua also available
Tea deserves a special mention, all items served hot. Old shop near Deshapriya Park, has its own legacy Must try out place. Also other items like Lassi, Samosa etc. also available.
It's more of a Marwari kachori...not much in sync with my bengali tastebud...but gulab jamuns were not bad
The hinger kachori and tea are fantastic. There are other items too in their menu like singara, lassi, jilipi, goja, etc. However, there are no seating place and most of the times it gets too crowded.
The kochuri was delicious and the chili chutney is a must. We ate 6 kochuri, tea, a thumbsup, packed 6 dhokla and the total cost was 165 rs. Also, we went pretty late around 12pm yet they ensured we got fresh and newly made kochuris.
