Indeed a beautiful place I would recommend this place to all the tea lovers of this city really it's one of my favourite place and I would like to visit it again 2 the tree price was a little hi but it managed with me quality that provide
Great collections of Tea.
A bit overpriced. The place is classy with an awesome vintage decor. Got a gift from the store as it was a valentines day.
Didn't get to taste food here. But I was really looking forward to experiencing their beverages. Tried Green tea with pomegranate and Wonder. I'm super impressed! Although you see coffee cafe's growing here and there you hardly find the right place for tea. And for a tea lover like me, I feel I've found my spot. Also their complimentary cookies were just so fine ❤ Furthermore, extra points for such amazing interiors.
My mother is very picky about the tea she likes. She isn’t easily impressed. A friend of mine suggested this place and so very apprehensively I took my mother for a tea date. She not only loves their tea but the food as well. Her favourite is the ruby Darjeeling.
Scrumptious food...and lovely ambience with polite and courteous staff.
The place seems like the Snow White has fallen all over it. Exclusively interiorized place. Copious diversification of tea. Loved the Caesar salad, vegetables were fresh and it was beautifully dressed. Had a delightful experience with tea (Ruby from The Darjeeling Tea and Mint Iced tea). Didn't like the sandwich at all, it didn't seem fresh and was tasteless. Loved the Jalapeno Cheese Corquettes was nice and the sauce served with, was cherry on top for it. Over all experience was delightful, would love to visit again.
Opted for this place after going through a long and intensive scroll down session in zomato..Basically,we were about to celebrate a b'day and looking for a comfortable seating in this area..This two storeyed cafe looks beautiful..an absolute class in real sense😍Felt really awesome while being there..specially because of that elegant look and feel.
When we went there it was around 4pm and the whole place was almost empty but as time passed by it became quite crowded..people who were serving food were very much courteous. They serve both veg and non veg.Pocket pinch is high if compared to the quantity..but quality was as we expected.
We had Cobb salad,Tea place by manjushree special sandwich and Stuffed chicken breast. We had a plan to have some ice cream but it was not available at that time. Will try some more items in my next visit as there are so many to check 😁😂
I went there on Navami , this puja 2019 with my relatives. Being a costly and elegant place, for one day , You can afford the expensive tea and other foods.
This place is situated in Hindusthan Park, the adjoining areas of Gariahat. The warm welcome and the entire service is worth mentioning as you walk the wooden floors. The European style of decor and furnishings along with the porcelain tea pot and cups will definitely steal your heart. If one likes exploring for varieties of tea, then this place will surely hit your senses.
We were two people, super hungry after work landed for some tea and sandwich. We both ordered for Champagne flavoured Darjeeling Tea Rs. 160/- each which came in a strainer fitted mug. The heavenly flavourful tea was a little pricy served hot with small cookies.
Next we ordered for Tea Place Special club Sandwich (Non-Veg)(Rs. 280/-) is a filling triple-decker white bread sandwich grilled with oil brush. The heavenly tasty filling consisted of vegetables like lettuce, tomato and cucumber slices and non-veg elements like grilled chicken, chicken ham, fried eggs with cheddar cheese and mayonnaise. It was served with extra mayo mixed with shredded veggies, tomato ketchup and deep fried French fries.
Loved every bit of the food, service and the ambience.
Definitely coming back again soon.
Wish them all the gastronomic success!
Excellent place. Simple yet classy.
Amazing service and food . Loved the Cobb's salad and the presentation was outstanding . Loved the cute little tea timer .
The place is one of the hidden gems if you are roaming in Southern Avenue,Kolkata. Classy decor & ambience with mild music. Style of service is well mannered & service folks were very courteous. If you want 5 star category service & decor with 1000 bucks.I am recommending it clearly. search it on Zomato for more details..
.
.

.
.
Ordered

#Chicken lasagna (mouth watering & heavenly feeling)
.
.
pocket pinch- ₹700-₹1000(for two)
Quantity- Every dish is enough for 2 persons.
taste- way upto the mark (10 out of 10)
If you are a tea lover then this place is a must visit The interior is amazing. The seating area is divided into 3 sections. One is the common seating area, One is the downstairs seating area and the other is the lounge.
They have a wide variety of tea to try from the menu. The food is also very good to taste.
Went here today. We only ordered for Chicken Bolognise. The food tasted really good. The staff was friendly and courteous. The interiors were very pretty.
The lasagna was meagre in terms of quantity. However, it tasted brilliant. The beverages were nice and I love the fact that they use paper straws!
Loved it like anything... Such great environment and service. Food was great portion and tasty.... The Ruby was a great recommendation for the start... I loved the little comfy library they have... The finger sandwiches, the white sauce pasta was really tasty and to end the pomegranate ice tea was so good .... Overall 5 star worthy experience ... 😃
I had bookmarked this place for a long time and I was really excited to visit. The ambience is beautiful. The staff is very friendly. The food is a little overpriced. I had the lemon iced tea which was quite refreshing. However I didn't liked the lemon tart much. It's too small for around 200 rs. All in all, it was a great experience and I am looking forward to visit again.
Sophisticated ambience with cordial staff. Ordered the mint green tea and asparagus broccoli pasta .Since I love iced tea I decided on trying mint green tea from their range of tea chillers. What disappointed me was the shortage of mint flavour. Nevertheless it tasted good. The broccoli pasta was a 3 on 5.

Okay so when you enter the place, a vibe of sophistication hits you. An incredibly beautiful place to hang out with your pals. The food is so delicious and not to forget the blueberry cheesecake...its yum. The ambience is so well decorated and the stay are really nice and friendly. A must visit place.
An elegant place with stupendous decor. The service is excellent and extremely personalized. They have a range of options in tea, each of which will be tailored to your taste according to your specifications. The Mango White Tea, when available, is highly recommended. For snacks, we had Mushroom on Toast- which was phenomenal. A must visit for any tea lover.
Perfect place for all tea lovers.
The Tea Place by Manjushree has much more to offer besides a variety of tea. Its located in Purna Das Road (Hindustan park).
Good food ,nice ambience and picture square interiors makes it picture perfect. We really enjoyed our time here. However, you need to have a deep pocket to visit this place. But it's a must try place for all the tea lovers!
Healthy and tasty place for continental food lovers. The decor has a class of its own with white touch everywhere. Food is excellent. Situated at Purna Das Road near Gariahat.
Overall experience was good😊
One of the best experience for not only tea but fur the food and ambience too.Very royal set up and very courtesous staff.I love going there again and again.
Beautiful decorations. Classy place.
Varieties of Tea. Fish& chips was awesome. They give Fried Rice Noodles on top...seasame seeds also. Price is too high
As you enter this elegant place you feel the warmth of the posh british palaces that define its culture. The staff is welcoming and did serve us well inspite of a bit of crowd. The interior is astonishingly detailed and the ambience is amazing in a unique way!
Coming to the food we ordered a chocolate milkshake and a grilled spicy chicken ricotto sandwich.
A huge glass well presented with chocolate strips on the sides and a small heart on the top made of chocolate powder. The beauty and the taste of it blended quite well!
I was a bit disappointed with the sandwich. The fried onions and the flavourless chicken spoiled the beautiful presentation. The finely cooked french fries provided with the sandwich did overshadow the downs.
They can add some more dishes to the menu.
Loved this place! Will visit again!
A place for adda and chill out with friends and family. Excellent food, brilliant staff ,welcoming ambience. What is not to love?
Comfortable, cool and makes for total relaxation.
Absolutely loved their ambience, the white decor made the interior looks very classy. Coming to the beverages we had Lemon Iced Tea and First Flush Darjeeling Tea which was presented on a royal mug. In food we had ordered Bay of Bengal Fish Sandwich which was delicious. Please visit them for a classic experience.

Excellent food - from starters to desserts.
Loved the wasabi tempura prawns, the bruschetta, mushroom toast as starters. The mains were fantastic too - grilled tiger prawns, mushroom crepe, chicken Alfredo, baby roast chicken, Bekti in a parcel and stuffed baked potato. Dessert - the Tiramisu was fantastic as was the lemon tart. All in all we were a satisfied bunch on Mother’s Day. Thank you The Tea Place. Thank you Manjushree.
Loved the ambience and the staff. The items r fresh and the prices even though a bit high are justified. A perfect place for a good 'adda' or a date. (:
I visited this place a week ago. It is definitely a very nice place with a very soothing and classy ambience. Coming to the food it was delicious. I ordered Darjeeling champagne tea, Chicken Alfredo pasta and Crèmè Brulèè for dessert. Both were very tasty. Looking forward to come here again. Also the staff were very courteous and polite.
Very nice place good ambiance. Decoration was very nice.. come to the food was awesome and delicious but price was quite high according to the food quantity. Staff are very polite served the food gently. My overall experience was good. You can definitely visit this place..😊👍🏻
Rarely do you come across a place that ticks all the right boxes of food, decor, ambience, service and everything else.
Unlike lots of cafes where you can feel people breathing down your neck, The Tea Place by Manjushree offers ample free space that makes you feel cozy and the company intimate. The clever use of glasses, mirrors and monochromatic colours render a picture-perfect appeal. The service is great as well with all the servers being courteous, warm and on their feet.
Now coming to the food.. Neither I nor my friends are tea-lovers (yes, we do exist) and opted to not have any. In food, we ordered the Cobb salad, the Caesar salad and the Roasted baby chicken. Each dish was perfectly made and it was a scrumptious fare. We would definitely go back to taste everything else they have on the menu and this time, we may give the teas a try as well. If long conversations over good food is your thing, The Tea Place by Manjushree is a must-visit.
This is one pf the most amazing places to have snacks and chill out with, friends and family alike. They have a wide range of dishes and from whatever i have tasted, its really delicious. Their staff is very gracious and take time to explain the menu . The ambience is also very good, not to mention the place is extremely pretty. Special thanks to Mr Abhay, Mr Debashish and Mr Sudeep for their wonderful treament on poila boishakh.
Very sophisticated place
Must try for tea lovers
We ordered oolong tea and Caesar salad
The Taste of salad was good
Perfect texture
And the tea was exquisite
Pocket pinch-approx ₹480
The place has got old ward charm and resembles glenarys of darejeeling. The decor is amazing with soft instrumental music playing on the background its a lovely place and a must visit for people who love tea and little quiet time.
Just one small complaint the variety of tea is pretty impressive but given the price point the quantity can be increased.
Firstly, the interiors are absolutely picture-perfect (although, an extra fee to use the upstairs back corner area is a bit lame given initially you could sit wherever you wanted). Customer service is usually pretty good and the staff is knowledgable about the different tea varieties (there are plenty!). Starters are great - definitely try the Chilli Avocado & Asparagus on Toast, Mexican Nachos and even sandwiches like the Veggie Panini and Tea Place Special (pita bread)are pretty good. Risotto is average in terms of flavor (too mild). Unfortunately, if you like to pair your tea with dessert, that is the one department The Tea Place fails in - the Creme Brûlée is really sad and the apple pie is literally a one-bit size portion (a bit steep for the Rs. 260 price it comes at).
Had gone there with expectations that of a tea place but was pleasantly surprised and awestruck with their food menu. The dishes offered are mostly continental, which works wonders for me. Ordered Roast Chicken, Chicken Cordon Blue and Chocolate Mud Cake with Icecream. A special shoutout to the Chef Benjamin Gomes who ensured that the food is not only completely non-spicy but also yummycilious beyond words. Coming to the decor, the place is very beautifully decorated which just adds up to the charm.
Amazing ambience, awesome hospitality and most importantly, fantastically fantabulous food!!! Definitely a 5-Star 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟deserving place.
The roasted baby chicken was a good choice for dinner .
It had simple and yet tasty flavours and to add the flavours they served grilled veggies with it . I would rate 3/5 for this dish.
The Alfredo chicken pasta was another good choice for happy tummy dinner . It's filled with molten cheese , veggies and tasted good . I would rate it 3.5/5
One word for the ambiance of this place "Beautiful" I loveeeed the ambiance and the staff's were really sweet and polite 10/10 for the ambiance and the hospitality.
Coming to the food Sandwich was the star of the evening for me each layer had something
Over all all the food we're good and worth to visit and eat also this place comes under the most pocket friendly places in Kolkata. good food in less price what else we need ❤️
Awesome, felt like I was in Europe. Food excessively well. Ambience just spellbound. Caramel custard was handsomely tasty creme brulee hmmmmmm.
The tea place by Manjushree was there in my bucketlist since a very long and I finally went there !!
This group is runned by the Birlas and it is very popular for its various kinds of tea and snacks items !!
We ordered the following items :
-ROASTED BROCCOLI: The roasted broccoli are served in a multi grain bread topped with heavily roasted broccoli ,cheese ,salt and pepper poured on the top along with chilli flakes and origano .
.These kind of snacks are apt for an evening snack ,very light and completely filling ,do try this delicacy @theteaplace by Manjushree.
-DARJEELING CHAMPAGNE TEA SERVED WITH FRESHLY BAKED COOKIES .
.This tea is finest in terms of flavours and a special kind of uniqueness that cannot be replicated by another !!The speciality of Darjeeling tea is that it is formed by the combination of taste and aroma .
Now as you can see in this picture that there are three colours of the timer ,these three timing sand colours are segregated on the basis of the strong ness of the tea !!
.The white colour is if you want a mild flavour in your tea , orange is for medium strong ness ,and green is if you want a very strong flavour of the tea , so it all depends on your taste and preference of teaThis is one signature tea
Now coming to the ambience
The tea place by Manjushree is a beautiful place and there is something really Royal about it !!The interior and the decor is simply beautiful .
I love the way how they have curated the tea utensils , and they have a small library inside where they have various books comprising about tea making ,and tea style in various countries .
Do visit this place when in Kolkata
.
Location: Purna das road
Ambience: it was amazing, the crockery cutlery sets, the paintings, the lights and the pastel shade walls really won my heart.
Yesterday went there ,it was decorated with delicate flowers , the theme of valentine's day was well put together.
Tried : •pure bliss and first flush : it had a great aroma, the quantity was well provided. Being a tea lover, i can say that it won't disappoint u!
• fish and chips : it was different from what i tried before from other places..it definitely had an unique flavour , maybe because of the use of ingredients like sesame seeds.
• lemon chicken escalope : the presentation was really good, the use of herbs and light spices , tender chicken breast and veggies - everything was on point.
Staff: they were really nice and well behaved, they welcome their guests with warm gestures.
A small token gift was given by them, which was really sweet.
Thank you "The tea place by Manjushree" for making my evening with my valentine so special!
It's a very beautiful place to be.. Ambience was good. Foods tasted too good.. Service was good and the people were very courteous. I would love to visit again this place.

So for last few days I am down with cold and all I am craving right now is some Darjeeling tea and some fish cakes to go with it maybe! I was just recollecting my experience at The Tea Place by Manjushree - that lovely evening adda with my close friends and that amazing tea and finger food! This quaint tea place is truly classy with a proper colonial decor which is neat, well organised having soothing beige interiors, wooden flooring, optimum lighting and loads of open space!
We were seated at the first floor and ordered for some Darjeeling First flush tea i.e. with first pickings of the season. It was light and nice giving that perfect start. Timer came along with the tea, which helps you make your tea strong, medium or light. Also you get cookies when you order tea. We followed this up with some Tuna Fish Cake, Chicken Sandwich and my favourite Spaghetti Aglio Olio, and some mango juice to wash things down in the end. The Fish cakes were nice but considering the freshness, it was kinda okayish. The spaghetti was pretty good with a higher shower of Parmesan cheese on top. The sandwiches were delectable and my friend had them all, it was loaded with mushrooms, bell peppers and cheese.
Overall a nice experience and definitely coming back to this place for the tea and the snacks and definitely for the classy ambiance. Not to forget, you can also buy your tea from this place! Would rate the place 3.7/5.
Amazing place amazing food amazing ambience everything out here is amazing all the food items are superb and the staff is very friendly do visit this place
Very conveniently located with ample🚗 parking space outside makes it all the better
The place looks so exotic from outside. The moment you step in and reach the first floor you just cant take your eyes away from the rich royal decor. The tables have been placed at quite a distance may be knowing we Kolkatans are very noisy 😂
The team here is very courteous and soft spoken. The respond immediately to your requirements
We ordered for
- Green Salad. This was ok not so great 3/5
- Chicken spicy grilled sandwich. This was lovely 5/5
- Darjeeling tea 5/5
- Iced tea 5/5
Ineed a lovely place very reasonably priced
A perfect place for a perfect cup of tea. You can find a variety of flavours if you are a TEA connoisseur. Their large plates are very well cooked and dressed. The best part of the plates are the vegetables which are cooked to perfection retaining the colours and the taste. Their Creme Brûlée is definitely a delight.
A special mention of Debasish, who has been courteous and helpful while deciding on the food.
This place has my heart! The ambience that this place has is worth it! It feels calm and serene in there. Everyone is so friendly and sweet. This is one of the best places that i have been to in the past few months! It is really beautiful there!
Lovely decor. Polite and friendly staff. Terrific desserts. Must try their creme brulee and classic Tiramisu . Will definitely recommend visiting this place!
Very nice ambiance. Loved the Chicken Caesar Salad!! And Tiramisu is a must eat in desert section!! Lots a variety in tea. A must visit to this place.
Hello, I'm again back with another review. Well, today, I'm here and checked out this amazing cafe 'The Tea Place'. I'm not a tea person, but my mother loves tea. She longed to be here once, and try out something. So, we planned an evening hangout and headed here.
From the outside, the cafe looks beautiful.
People come here to try out wide range of tea. We ordered a special tea, which was Apricot flavored. Personally, I ain't a tea person, but, when I tried it, it was really good. The people follows the tea rule very diligently. We had this strong tea, which was guided by the staffs. It was really good, and I never had such kind of tea before. Besides, we ordered appetizers like, Creamy Mushroom Toast, Fish and Chips.
The toast tasted amazing, and mushrooms were cooked perfectly. It's beautifully tossed, and taated tender and creamy. Fish and chips were good too. The fish fries, was amazingly fried.
We ended our glutton trail on a sweet note, with Créme brulee and Plum pudding with Brandy sauce. The plum pudding was today's specialty.
The brulee was amazing, I never tried Créme brulee before. So this was my first time, and I loved it. Plum pudding was good, but I was a bit confused that whether it was a cake or pudding. But I loved the flavor of spices and it was good as well.
The interior is orientally decorated, with a tinge of classy British decor. The services were in amazing. The staffs were friendly, and we were happy with their choices and their cooperation as well.
So, all over, I had a good time over here. I would definitely love to visit again and try other specialties as well. Ciao!

Loved this place a lot. Mention worthy decor, polite & active staffs, wonderfully created menu everything set the mood for a perfect lovely afternoon before Christmas.
Its like a mini dollhouse...the ambience is just perfect for a date...and its surprisingly on the reasonable side i would say when it comes to the pocket pinch compared to the service nd food nd beverages that they offer...the decoration inside and the set up is just flawless...one of d best cafes in d city i would say... amazing!!!
Beautiful ambience. Its a totally Tea place with a seperate Tea lounge. I loved the set up. Very apt location. A quiet and hi-tea set up done.
The crockery is bang on for having tea. I tasted the silver needle with apricot -White tea. It was very tasty. And the champagne darjeeling tea is also recommended. Served with cookies.
The avacado and asparagaus chilli cheese toast was delocious. Served along with french fries and coleslaw.
The pasta was average as it was overcooked and less of veggies.
Rest overall.much appreciated service.
Totally in love with this place.
This place won my heart...soothing ambiance with lovely decor.. Ordered Champaign tea and vintage collection... Wow wow too good..
Love this place... Must visit.
Absolutely in love with this place! Love the decor and the simplicity of design and decor. A classy place in the middle of the city that can be misleading if you step in from the entrance. Step on up and you find a lovely open space with enough tables including a private dining area. Ordered a grilled king prawn, herb crusted Bhekti fillet and a club sandwich with some black and iced tea. Perfect indulgence for the start of a winter lunch
Nice ambience, ample space, quite atmosphere.
One the best cafes of South Kolkata. Food quality was quite good, courteous staffs - on a single note, it will make your day whether are you in mood of gossiping or in a very important date.
Try it and surely love it...
Absolutely loved the ambience . The food is also very delicious . I ordered Fish n Chips , Chicken Lasagna and Lemon Ice Tea . All the items were very delicious and nicely cooked . I would love to revisit this place to cherish both the ambience and the food . Way to go !
This place won my heart with its ambience. It has a nice soothing ambience with a beautiful and simple decoration. The joint is enough spacious.Food was also very tasty. We ordered Lemon Iced tea, Chicken Lasagna , Fish and chips.
Everything was very tasty but to me they were a bit costly . The staffs were really well trained and very much courteous. They cooperated with us all the time .
So I would suggest to give a visit. I really liked the place and will visit it again.☺️
Monalisa Chakraborty Though today tea joint are different from yesterday. But this place has old British look to this place. The menu is Continental with wide variety of tea available there for selection. My personal favourite is Darjeeling.....
Nice place for a quiet cup of good quality tea. They have a very good range of teas and while it is served in a really fancy way, the quality of the leaves used is outstanding.
The food here is decent as well, but a bit pricy (and rather ordinary) for what they serve. I would go here just for the tea! The ambience is a bit too prententious for my liking but there are those who might like it!
On a rainy evening while walking down the lanes of Hindustan Park, visited this lovely cafe for some evenings snacks. The décor left us flabbergasted. Beautifully decorated with wooden flooring and white interiors gave it a British touch.
We were spoilt for choice when it came to picking out the type of tea we preferred. Finally settled on Green Tea with Tangerine & Citrus and a Darjeeling Champagne Tea. The presentation of the tea was splendid. It came with a timer based on how strong you like your tea and also some complimentary cookies. The Tea was indeed worth the all the hype.
Alongside we ordered for a Creamy Mushroom on Toast which too delicious and is highly recommended!
The service was great and the server was very well-mannered and helped us with the extensive menu. The pocket pinch is tad bit high but worth it!
Well it's one of those places for me where you can gossip with old pals, with good food and a decent no noisy atmosphere, I visit this place everytime I visit byloom(walking distance).Located bang opposite to the mystic yoga cafe, walking distance from China wok at the purna das road, easy to spot a pretty two storey white building.
Charming and wooden decor!!
Courteous staffs and prompt service!
So as it's tea place we ordered Darjeeling =ruby and lemon ginger tea as champagne wasn't available.
They serve it quite in a unique way than the other tea places in the city, and along with buttery and chocolate chip cookies well I liked the ruby more, aromatic and soothing whereas the later one was average in taste more subtle.
Coming the food we had a chicken finger sandwich whcih was well stuffed qith crispy juicy chicken along with cabbage mayo and properly grilled, one plate is enough for two.
And also my favourite spaghetti in aglio olio which I try and explore everywhere possible, compared to the sandwich this was average a bit blant in taste but was fresh.
So overall it's a must for a high tea or even for a get together gathering a classy well maintained place.

Went with my mom today. Classy decoration. Very courteous and polite staff. Coming to the food...very unique style of serving tea. Tea lovers its a must visit for you!☕ We had also ordered tea place special sandwich which tasted good. But the mushroom baked with cheese was amazing!! 😃😃😃
Finally we had blueberry cheese cake which too was delicious! Really enjoyed !!😎
Previously i had tasted Chicken cordan blue which was also tooo good!...
Lovely decor freindly staff .
Excellent food
Huge variety of teas and lots of nick naks
We ordered aappricot tea which was okay
The tea house sandwich was excellent
Me and my friend kind of discovered this place while hopping for puja pandals. As a tea lover, It was already on my bucket list, so decided to walk in without any second thought. I must admit the ambience was class apart. The spacious interior, vintage style decorations and courteous staff will make you feel like you've entered a tea house from another age.
Now coming to the food, I really wanted to indulge in every kind of tea mentioned in their menu. Tea is served within infuser glass teapots. It comes with a pretty setup of three hourglasses that lets you brew the tea as per your liking - light, medium or strong. We went with their suggestion and had the followings:
√ Darjeeling Oriental Beauty Tea had its typical smooth Darjeeling flavour.
√ Southern Spice Tea (Black tea) tasted as good as it smelled. As the name suggests, this one came with a perfect blend of cardamom, cinnamon and clove.
√ The Tea Place Special Sandwich was served with some french fries, salad and yogurt. And it went well after the tea.
Overall, it was quite an experience. Pricing is also reasonable. Highly recommended👌👍
This was my first time here at The Tea Place. Right from the moment you enter, you get taken up by the vibe of the place, if I may use that word. Be it the tastefully selected lights, the impeccable decor, the white wooden chairs, the courteous staff and simply the layout of the place - I firmly believe the aristocracy which this place is able to generate is only possible in a city like Calcutta. The staff was extremely courteous and the tea, sandwiches top notch. I would love to come back here whenever I am in Calcutta.
Located in the bylanes of Hindustan park, this place is a gem. Went there during the puja season, and the experience left us enthralled.
Firstly, thumbs up for the polite, courteous staff and the amazing hospitality.
The decor spells class and sophistication in bold;from the elegantly done tables in white and to the array of colourful hourglasses- everything is sure to catch your eye.
Coming to food next,we ordered:
-Chicken lasagna: the only thing is , portion size is small for this.
-french fries
-Chicken Mexican wrap
-Roasted Baby chicken
-Stuffed chicken with spaghetti
-Lemon iced tea
-Passion fruit green tea
Taste wise, every item we picked, well, I'd say deserves full points and a few brownie points too!
So glad to have checked this place off the bucket list. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!-with Madhuti Chakraborty Soumyasis De
Iced Strawberry white tea with Veg Aglio Olio sauce pasta
This is the official retail store of Manjushree Plantations. Incorporated in 1938, the plantation has contiguous estates covering 22,000 acres, of which 5191 acres is under cultivation, leaving the rest to the nature as virgin forest, perennial streams and waterfalls.
The tea lounge houses three seating zones, one on the ground floor right next to the tea station where you can experiment with your brews. The zone upstairs has more seating and a lounge that has cover charges. Along with great variety of teas you also get some great options in Pastas and Pizzas!
Been going to this place for several years now and it continues to be on my list of good cafes in Kolkata. Here's why:
Calm, Regal and great tea quality. Pleasing ambiance. The food is also excellent. Have had their sandwiches multiple times and use of good quality ingredients sets this place apart.
The only con of this place is that the prices are on the higher side.

Had a marvelous lunch in a charming ambience, with amazing food and delightful tea. Service was super. We, seven, sat and ate in a special enclosure which is mysteriously charged per head and not for the room. A doubt remains whether 3 small groups would be allowed simultaneous access, if entry is individual. Isn't the idea of a reserved space for a special get-together for one group, required to have one fixed charge?
Ah well, will seek the answers on our next visit - very much on the cards.
Information available on the net is out-of-date. Please update the menu - TPM. I had not taken pictures of the menu, alas.
Meanwhile my photos will be with me to ensure we remember to go soon.
The ginseng oolong tea I had, inter alia, came with a special timer for the tea to infuse correctly - how cool is that !!!
The ambience steals everything. Situated in a quiet but posh lane, this place can be easily located. As the name suggests, the variety of tea they have is amazing. We ordered one Lemon Iced Tea and one Honey Ginger Black Tea. The later was a surprise with the timer which suggested when to pour according to our taste (mild, medium, strong). Coming to food, it was bit average but the presentation was impressive. I am sure they must have better food items since we tried only one.
Definitely deserves a second visit.
A tea room set in chic sophisticated classy ambience. Its very relaxing and has a peaceful aura. Very nice place to sip the tea the classic way. The flavours of infused teas is very nice. Original flavours with many options like first flush, oolong, Darjeeling teas. Food is nice too. Lots of food options to have a nice evening outing.

Found my new favourite hangout place. I'm always looking for tea cafes that bring to mind calm and soothing vibes. The Tea Place by Manjushree doesn't disappoint. The ambiance, the food, and of course the brilliant collection of teas, any tea lover would be floored. The aesthetics of the place are wonderful, with vibrant warm colours that make you feel right at home. The decor is classy and sophisticated, and in these Covid times, it's wonderful to see a place manage and maintain their hygiene and safety standards well. I loved it here and would definitely go back again and again.
I really love this cozy beautiful tea place.last time we tried tiramisu in dessert and white tea.loved both.
By metro, from kalighat opposite of Gate Number 4 metro station you need take an auto. Leave the auto at Triangular Park. Then cross the road, walk straight for two minutes, you will get it on your right side opposite of dakat kali bari.
Overall this place is a good visit. They have varieties of Tea option along with Food options. Food dishes are overpriced. Overall had a good time. Good hospitality given by Mr. Debashis.
Sitting on 1st floor. GF you can buy packaged tea products.
Neat & tidy interiors. Well light. Great ambience.
Good to sit down for a leisurely tea break.
We went for a quick desert run here yesterday and we were so amazed by the ambience it's so sophisticated and classy, the ambience is everything here it's very romantic, perfect for a date.
We had Creme Brulee it was yum but didn't liked the tiramisu here the taste was not so good. This place is generally famous for their teas, we didn't have the opportunity to try yesterday but will surely try next time.
