This Bancharam is relatively better than any other Bancharam in Kolkata though I haven’t yet tried eating food in all of them still I am satisfied with their food quality and freshness.
Located almost beside Veg dhaba this outlet has some good sweets. Best of the lot was Malai sandesh and baked rasogolla. Talsansh was disappointing. Chocolate sondesh and gulabjamun mihidana bake was nice.

I never like tarts because of their hard crust but mihidana tart has an extremely soft crust and tastes mind blowing, it made me nostalgic and reminding me of "puran Poli".
I highly recommend you to try once.
Had been in my bucket list for long time .Finally when I visited my Pisi's place (Bangur) I decided to pack sweets from Banchharam's .
I had One Chocolate Naru , Choco Nerve and Sandesh ..

Bancharam has been serving us centuries with us quality sweets. Its located at the most busient and commercial Street of new Bangur of extreme compitition of selling food items because its completely crowded of food franchises of all kinds of snacks, sweets,fast food,beverages and much more. But still they been running the shp successfully even in the extreme compitition . Though I'm not sure about its unique items, Still I really enjoy is radha bhallabi and baked rossagullas.It is also heard that RANI RASHMANI herself used to stop her palki and bought the traditional sweets of Bancharam. Bancharam suddenly went on trending this year when it became the official sponser of ZeeBangla's longest running reality show DIDI NO: 1 . The interior is not such attractive and large but as same as other sweet franchise it can accommodate 6-7 customers and hardly 3 can rest their plates and have it. But still the best part of a sweet shop which is serving quality sweers is all possessed by them s and moreover this is the only shop where I saw all the sweet treats completely full inspite of being sold every minutes.One nust get confused all over as every item of them is just teeth lick'in good.... Located at Bangur Avenue this Bancharam is a bengali foodies ultimate destination for sweets. The rosogolla is nice but ladoo and some other items are really dry.Though their quality is good .

This is full marks sweet and snack shop with an excellent choice from traditional sweets like pefas, jive goja , rajbhog, rosogolla to new genX delicacies like Strawberry sandesh or baked rosogolla.
In the snack category their singaras ( as we call Samosas here in Bengal) are simply awesome and vegetable chops are Hakka Bakka in their taste appeal.
If I have to choose from the top 3 well Singara with Strawberry sandesh and baked rosogolla are a deadly combination.
This sweet shop is just 2 minuted walking distance from Bangur More. This is a fully A/C shop with huge space and nice decor. Winner of Times Food Award 2015, Bancharam Sweets had lot of expectation from my side. I visited so many sweet shops in and around my home, I really liked to give this one a try. I recently visited this sweet shop. The ambiance is quite aristocrat, fully air conditioned.All the items are nicely displayed with their name in front of the tray. Prices are a bit high. There are so many sweets and snacks items like Mihidana, Abar Khabo Sondesh, Lancha, Butter Scotch Sandesh, Laddu, Doi, Rosogolla, chocolate naru, Kaju bargi, mati chur laddu, Singara to mame a few. They also make Parota with Sabji. So, ultimately you can have your snacks out here anytime with a touch of sweet anyday.
this is one of my favourite sweet shops. this outlet is a small one located in bangur avenue. i tried the mihidana tart, it was fresh and tasty. the baked rosogolla is also a must try. the price is affordable. they do not have a lot of variety though it may be due to the shortage of space. one can give a try at this shop and try some new concepts of the good old bengali sweets
I used to like their products... this outlet is situated just beside kalika at bangur... deco was decent... staffs are very well mannered... service was good... I tried some of their preparations like baked gulabjamun, baked cheesecake n baked samosa... all were very good... pocket pinch was ok...
Had their malai chumchum, gulab jamun and lyangcha.. all the sweets were really awesome 😊 😊 ordered through grofers, so i have to give a special thanks to them ☺
Bancharams is one of the finest sweet shops which has a variety of Bengali and non Bengali sweets equally.
Thus outlet is located at Bangur near the super market. It's a pure veg outlet so a big advantage for the vegetarian people.The outlet is very neat and clean. All the sweets are equally nice and tasty. Most importantly fresh and tasty. You get some good breakfast options as well. They maintain good quality always. A good one and recommended.

Being a pure bong, I cannot help myself to refrain from sweets even after many obligations from family and doctors for health issues, diabtes etc. I mean how can a bengali spend a day without having any sweet!!
This morning I went for my son's checkup at apollo clinic and while waiting over there, we went for club kachori from the sharma tea and then I felt an uneasiness inside. It transformed into a smile when I looked outside and found Banchharam, Amriti, Annapurna - sweet shops one after another. Without much delay, I dropped in. The person at the counter is aged and very nice behaved. He insisted me to wait for few minutes so that he can provide me with the fresh stock that was being deposited from the van outside. We had the ghee laddoo and moong laddu - both were so delicious and so smooth and soft - a real treat for ur taste buds. I also packed two types of kaju barfi for my home - both were nice.
The outlet is located opposite super market...it is a new store compared to the heritage sweet stores of bangur..anapurna n vip sweets....the paneer roll n radhabalabhi are really good...
The sweets are awesome and fresh.. Best is the Misti doi and baked rasagolla. Strawberry sandesh is also my favourite. A good place to taste bengali sweets. Besan laddu is also mention worthy.
Located at Bangur Avenue this Bancharam is a bengali foodies ultimate destination for sweets. Very well maintained the outlet serves both bengali and non bengali customers equally. The baked rosogolla is to die for! !! I also liked the mihidana tart.. a very innovative sweetmeat indeed. The lyangcha and lady keni are equally irresistible. I am waiting to try the other sweets from this outlet. Please visit if you have a sweet tooth.

Banchharam has slowly opened up a number of outlets and is now a brand name of a chain of sweet shops serving the people with quality products but, at a near premium price. As we say, quality comes with its own price.
Relative meets are one of the most common amongst all families. Now, one wouldn't wish to go empty-handed. Same was the case of my family and to tackle this all we wanted was a good sweet shop for a takeaway. Came across this outlet, while on our way and simply parked by for the takeaway. The outlet suffers from a space constraint and might feel too crowded if more than six heads are inside at a time.
Sampled the following while the family members were busy choosing what to opt for a takeaway:
- Plain Rosogolla
Was mildly sweet, soft and good to taste.
They were opted for a takeaway too.
- Boondi Laddoo
Now, this was sad. Dry, hard and had average sweetness. Didn't suit my palate, has scope of improvement. Have had better ones.
• Along with the Rosogolla, the chocolate Sandesh was parceled too. They were good to eat. The little ones at the relative's place loved them. :)
The staff was friendly and served quickly.
Prices were found to be slightly inclined to wards the moderate end.
Overall a decent experience.
- One can also opt for the shelved (decent in taste) or the few fresh savories (average in taste) on offer.
If you are a "Khati Bangali" and do not suffer from diabetes. This is the place. An array of mouth watering sweet delicacies, which are like from Grandma's time.
P.S. It's quite heavy on the pocket.

Located in the poshiest area of bangur and the first outlet of the another branded sweet shop in dum dum area..
The good thing definitely the sweet and the smoothness of the chhana yet again it will melt your heart once you start to indulge in it...ON A SECOND THOUGHT.. watch out for the rassogollas of bancharam and kora pak r sondesh ..
The bad thing is not as spacious as you would expect it to be .. a little less eye catching mishti for a sweet lover like me but it will do for me enough...
another thing about this shop .. it is located in highly dense population of marwari community area so many of the sweet are not so choosable as we liked it have it during the recent times ..if you visit that shop.. But not yet its not finished..
If you happen to dislike the sweets ...you musn't forget to take home the ghee
Enough to make you go mad if not fallen in love with the aroma of it
though a must visit to this shop but highly recommend to people not to expect the unexpected from this particular branch
