What a delightful place! Absolutely loved the ambience and service. And the food is just heavenly! Even a simple salad will blow your mind. And the cocktails are one of absolutely unique here. Their new menu is a must-try! All the compliments about this place have always been for its service and ambience. But, having tried their new menu, I can say that it's a must-visit if you have nothing but good food on your mind.
The place is awesome, calm and peaceful. The music was good and food is lovely especially the krabi chicken and pasta really loved it. I would recommend all the people especially the youngsters to go their they Wil have a good time, the place food all is just too great.

In this pandemic situation they are maintaining their services very well. Few days ago visited this place. Ambience is truly amazing and food quality is very good. We took Chicken Satay with peanut sauce as a starter and Porcini Chicken with roasted potatoes and greens as a Main course item which had two chicken breast marinated with their special sauce and roasted potatoes. Lastly we took Coffee cake with chocolate ice cream which was their dessert of the day. All items were delicious. My experience is nice as this is my first visit.
I visited the restaurant during this pandemic, Covid-19, they maintained all the rules & guidelines provided by govt. and also maintained well hygiene. Food quality was good but I felt prices are little bit higher as compare to quantity of the food. Ambience is quite impressing and good place to chill out with friends. My overall experience is good.

Burnt Garlic is located inside Priya cinema in Deshapriya Park, South Kolkata.
On 5th July 2020 I had placed an Delivery order of Baked creamy chicken and mushroom and signature fried chicken from Burnt Garlic through Zomato. Both the dishes were delicious and sufficient in portion.
The creamy chicken and mushroom was just as good as I tested earlier. Not a bit of compromise on taste and portion size while in the mid of this economic-pandemic turmoil.
The chicken and mushroom were tender and the cream was wonderfully prepared. The garlic breads were appropriately crisp and tasty.
The fried chickens were fresh, crisp and juicy. For those who haven't tasted their signature fried chicken, it isn't your normal with bone chicken pieces deep fried covered in batter and crumbs. It is rather juicy boneless chicken pieces/fillet fried with signature style of crumbs which looks and tastes totally different. I use to like fried chickens from KFC or other unbranded shops but have consistently found a kind of unfriendly aftertaste or uneasiness after I eat those. These fried chickens however were a different ball game altogether. I could easily gobbled up 2 - 3 of them without any uneasiness.
Lastly I have an emotional connection with Deshapriya Park, Priya Cinema and South Kolkata in general. At this time when I am unable watch a movie in Priya, atleast I could get a scrumptious dinner from there which makes me more happy :)
P.S. I am very bad to remember to click photos of the food before eating so maybe I'll add some next time.

Want some 'me' time this is a right place for you. Heard a lot about this cool place at Deshapriya park for a while now. So finally, when our gang decided for a small college reunion and to meet me somewhere near Deshapriya park, then we decided to check in here! Burnt Garlic was in my list since a very long time now so finally checked in here.

The area is divided in two sections up and down to sit and chill, of which I like the down section as it has some really good feel to be here ,thanks to the rolling pins hanging around from the top that acts as an unique divider. The happy hours offer of the place is amazing. The service of the place is prompt and quick to satisfy both the tummy and the heart along with perfect ambience. The staffs are well informed and can certainly assist one in choosing the right dishes and drinks. 💕

Really liked Baked Creamy Chicken & Mushroom with Garlic Toast, Chicken Phat Mama bowl, and Thai Green Curry. Sea Food platter was ok. Proportions (except platter) were good. Staff Sanjay Das was excellent in his job and behaviour.
This place serves Italian, Chinese cuisines that are really good quality products. Tried their mixed rice and chilli chicken both the items were good.
The staff was ill mannered with his own bizzare and biased rule.
A nice and cozy place, with helpful staffs and nice food. We tried the chilli pork, grilled hoisin chicken breast and fish & chips. All the items were good but the fish was fried in a typical fish munia style, which is a little odd, though it tasted fine. We also tried honey sesame chicken but that was horribly sweet. Overall a nice experience.
Went in the GIRF session (from Dineout). Absolutely fabulous! Quantity and quality was excellent. The decor was instagrammy and orders came in quickly. Recommending this place to everyone.

A wonderful quirky interior greets you when you walk into the ground floor of the iconic Priya cinema hall where Burnt Garlic is situated. Rolling pins act as separators and there are plates on the walls. We ordered the Yellow cheddar stuffed mushrooms and the signature Fried prawns to start. Bit disappointed in the prawns which were really neither here nor there in terms of flavour but the mushrooms were awesome. For mains we ordered the Barbecue chicken pizza with carmelized onions and the Spaghetti Lamb Bolognese. Spaghetti sauce was good and the pizza just fine. The grilled Bhetki with lemon butter sauce was superb, though mashed potatoes and fish is not my cup of tea. We also ordered the Porcini chicken with roasted potatoes and greens -sauce was good but the chicken a little underdone. All in all a good experience but the food could've been better.

We walked in in the evening of 14th February to Burnt Garlic underneath Priya Movie Hall, where we were greeted with courtesy. We headed to our table for four. The table was adjacent to a sofa, and behind it was a very beautiful art made out of wooden 'belan' hanging from the top. The place also had a upper floor with seating area. The area played Post Malone songs keeping the ambience pumped up for the V-Day. We ordered pizzas and whiskey. The walls ok the other side had abstract figures and there is also a bar counter by the side which added to its view. I liked the place and so did my friends. The number of staff seemed to be a bit less as there was a little delay with the service maybe because of the importance of that day😁.

Ordered one Krabi style pork and one pad thai mixed (flat) noodles. The dishes were mild in spices and had a bit of sweetness in it, didn't like much. Located beside Priya cinema, this place is easy to find. One is enough for two. Staffs were helpful and courteous.

Loved the taste as well as the texture of the fried chicken. It was served with a mint chutney. The chicken inside was well cooked and it was coated with crispy noodles. The portion size is satisfactory.
This place is a hidden gem, located just under the Priya Cinema premises (ground floor). We went there during the pujas, and surprisingly it was not that crowded at all irrespective of the festivity. The food was really good. Tastewise superb, the fried rice tasted blunt though but the side which we ordered complimented well with the main. The litchi shake was very soothing. Overall it was a good experience and would love to pay a visit again.

Visited with a friend yesterday during their Happy Hours had a wonderful time! The staff was really polite about explaining the menu. The ambience was really so beautiful and perfect for groups of friends! We ordered for the following:
1. Cheese Baked Nachos: This one's a must try if you visit! So flavourful, sufficient amount of toppings, perfect kind of snacks!
2. Lamb Bolognese Pizza: Also a must try! From the toppings to the crust, everything's perfect! Such a unique flavour and a wonderful crunchy thin crust!
From the Happy Hours' menu we had:
Blue Riband, Honey Bee (perfectly served with hot water) and Bacardi Black.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience! The food was good, the ambience was good, the people were good. Definitely want to try out other stuff from their menu too.

We had ordered lemon coriander chicken soup, hot and sour soup and Fried Crispy Chicken.
The Lemon Coriander soup was just what I need on a winter evening. It had the perfect amount of zing to it, and tasted delicious.
Hot and sour soup was quite spicy, with a lot of shiitake mushrooms and chicken.
The Fried Chicken at Burnt Garlic was like Crispy Thread Chicken. Tasted very good.

Coming to the food, ambience and service:
1. Food- They have a huge number of cocktails as well as food from where you can choose. The best part is they have cocktails which have some unique combinations.
Cocktails:
~ Rosemary Cucumbertini- This had a flavour of Gin fused with Rosemary and sweet lime & cucumber juice.
~ Elderflower Shandy- This was a fusion of beer, lime, elderflower and rosemary.
~ Burnt Garlic Rob Roy- This is for all the Whiskey lovers. Do try this one as it contained whisky, sweet vermouth, garlic and apple juice.
~ Curry Patta Coconut Vodkatini- I personally love the flavour of curry patta, and when it is fused with a drink, the flavours it gives are really amazing.
~ Postobata Gondhoraj Ghol- This particular cocktail tasted like a litchi drink mixed with Vodka base, but the smell it was giving, was of Gondhoraj.
~ Jamaican Expresso- This is for all the coffee lovers, specially for the black coffee lovers. Irish cream, coffee liqueur along with dark rum and cointreau, served with 2-3 coffee beans as toppings. This one was my personal favourite.
The best part about the cocktails is that the smell will give you a different flavour but the taste will tell you a another one.

~ Chocolate Intense- This is a must try for everyone, whether you love alcohol or not doesn't matter, you need to try this one.

Both the soups were hot, tasty as well as refreshing, even the quantity is good enough for two people.

~ Fish Finger- We all know how it tastes and we all love to have fish fingers.
~ Baked Cheese Nachos- Nachos is what we all love. They served these nachos with lot of cheese and scrambled egg, fused them with the nachos and served them.
~ Signature Fried Cottage Cheese- A pure vegetarian dish. Oval shaped cottage cheese, fried and served in a basket which made it look ten times more tasty.
~ Fish in sweet Thai Chilli Sauce- Any preparation of fish, can beat the other dishes anyday. This one was the second best dish of the day. The fish was soft as well as juicy, they dish contained veggies which was fresh and because of the gravy, even they tasted so good.
~ Roasted Chilli Pork- My favourite meat is pork, so any preparation of pork has to be the best for me. This was was great, shredded pieces of pork, it was spicy and taste was perfect.
~ Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce- All of us has tried this dish from various places right? So give it a try here, and let me know which one is better. The satay I had here was the best satay I've ever had. The chicken was soft and was cooked perfectly.
~ Panko Crumbed Prawns with Honey Chilli- It was crispy and fried very properly. This will taste best only when dipped in the honey chilli sauce.
~ Bacon Wrapped Prawns- Everyone of us love prawn, but yes some people do not like to have bacon, for them this is a big miss. This one was the best dish I had that day.
Mains:
~ Fish Burger- The most unique thing I had from this place. This was the first time I had fish burger ant it was really amazing. The burger was served with Tartar and chips. The burger was loaded with more than enough mayonnaise.
~ Chilli Chicken Pizza with Sliced Capsicum and Onion- The pizza was too spicy, other than was the taste was good.
~ Just Prawn in Spaghetti in Coriander Sauce- This one is a must try from all the mains. The spaghetti was really tasty and the quantity was good enough for two peeps.
~ Randang Curry- This curry was made of eggplant and slices of chicken in it. Since I don't like eggplant, that's why haven't tried it, though the curry was smelling too good.
~ Lamb Shank- Two leg pieces of lamb served with a sauce and mashed potato is something you must try.
~ Grilled Hoisin Chicken Breast in honey Basil Chilli Sauce- All of us had tried this before and we all know how good it tastes.
All the dishes we tried were of great taste and quality. You must try all of these, but if you have problem with chilli, then you should ignore the pizza.

BURNT GARLIC located inside PRIYA CINEMA HALL serves some authentic Continental and American cuisine. On my recent visit we ordered Chilli Chicken-Pizza, Lamb Shanks, Bacon wrapped prawns and Papaya Salad. The Papaya Salad is a healthier option for you to order if you are maintaining a strict diet.
Lamb shanks are an inexpensive cut of meat begging to be slow cooked. Slow cooking turns this tough cut of lamb into the most tender, succulent, fall off the bone meat, while creating a luxurious depth of flavour in this delicious gravy. And they served it with mashed potatoes. The meat was juicy and tender. It was infused with herbs and is extremely flavourful. Chilli Chicken-Pizza is something different I tried here. Chilli Chicken pieces topped with cheese made it more tasty.

Bacon Wrapped Prawn : Large succulent shrimp, seasoned, wrapped in bacon. Damn. It was too good in taste.
Overall i loved the food of this place which was so delicious. Good food equalls good mood and this place totally deserves a 5star rating.

Lamb shank- One of the best dishes of the evening. Perfectly cooked lamb shank served in brown sauce along with creamy mashed potatoes. Highly recommended.

How many of you actually know that priya cinema hall has a complete bar cum restaurant inside it? I guess not many . Burnt garlic is the name which is known for its continental and American cuisine . This is actually located at Deshapriya park on the ground floor of Priya cinema hall which can be accessed easily from Gariahat as well as Rashbehari crossing . Kalighat being the closest metro station.
A perfect place to have your meal right after watching a movie or before . People mostly prefer their drinks because they smell of something else and taste something different . This twist keeps one thinking about it untill the drink gets over. The food menu is also vast . Dishes have their intro inside the menu card for better understanding of the customers.
Tried many items from their food menu of which the noteworthy dishes includes
Chicken satay with peanut sauce : A dish from Indonesia where piece of meat is cooked ona stick or grilled and served with a mildly spicy peanut sauce .
Fish fingers : Traditional boneless pieces of fish cut in the shape of fingers coated with bread crumbs and deep fried until turned golden brown , serve with mayo. It was delicious .
Baked cheese nachos: Something cool , nachos with topping of cheese and tomato puree baked to perfection.
Panko crumbed prawns: Fresh prawns coated with panko crumbs and deep fried , crispy from the outside soft from inside.
Bacon wrapped prawns: Shrimps wrapped with half cooked bacon slices attached with a toothpick and then roasted in the pan. The prawns tasted sweet to the tastebuds.
Roasted chilly pork : This was my favourite of all. Pieces of pork cut in thin sliced and roasted with lots of chillie . Fat to meat ratio in the dish was perfect.
Signature fried cottage cheese : This dish from the veg section turned out to be my favourite , Bing chunks of cottage cheese coated with crumbs and deep fried untill turned perfectly golden. The crunch sound coming out have its own charisma .
Bakchoy with tofu : Fresh green bakchoy grilled with cubes of tofu . This was perfectly seasoned .
Besides the raw papaya salad and the mushroom brocoli soup had promising flavours .
From the mains i loved their Spaghetti in Coriander sauce with prawns . The spaghetti was very well cooked and the sauce wasn't overpowering . Hence it was a perfect combination made out of simple things.
The chilly chicken pizza had a thin crust which i perspnt prefer . The pizza was full fo cheese and the taste was decent .
Also had Laksa which is known for its spice . It is a noodle soup with other veggies and meat . I missed the punch of spices from the soup . The only dominating flavour was that of coconut and nothing else.
Overall food had its own highs and lows . Nevertheless service was prompt but on the slower side . Definitely check out their happy hours where they serve selected drinks at 71 only . ( 12 pm to 7pm)
A must visit place for people who like to experiment with their food or like fusion food. The food was great. I really loved the Fish Finger, Fish Burger, Chilli Chicken Pizza with Sliced Capsicum and Onion and Grilled Chicken in Honey Basil and Chilli Sauce. I strongly recommend their Signature Fried Cottage Cheese. One must try the mocktails. I really recommend the Strawberry Pinacolada and Chocolate Intense.
5 on 5 for ambience. The service was good as well.

Tried out this place yesterday as we were around Deshapriya Park in the evening,so needed a good place to chill.
So spotted this place in Zomato,this place is right inside Priya Cinema Hall.The place is divided into two sections.
We decided to try out some dishes from their vast menu.
Spaghetti in Coriander Sauce with prawns was something I really liked.The flavour of the coriander was not too overpowering and the spaghetti was cooked well.
Bakchoy with Tofu in Thai style was flavourful and healthy option.
Chicken Satay with Peanut sauce was made perfectly the chicken was tender and not stiff.
Tried out the the Chilli Chicken pizza, going apart from the normal pizza that we always have,it was not that great,the flavour of chilli chicken was felt more however the taste of pizza had subsided.
Panko Crumbed Prawns is a must have dish,I loved it with Honey Chilli Sauce.
Baked Cheese Nachos were delicious.
Lamb Shanks was the best out of the main course that we had,the meat was tender and juicy and cooked with perfection,so was the presentation,served with mashed potatoes I would totally recommend this dish.
Being a non-alcoholic person I had Chocolate Intense which had a nice consistency and tasted amazing.
Overall a great place to hangout with friends and family, however the service needs a bit of an improvement.

Except the fact that the place is a bit costly every damn thing is great about the place. Never had better cooked meat in my whole life. Coriander chicken was a gem for starters. We had lamb spaghetti ,3 chicken dishes , noodles. Everything was so amazingly tasty. The desert part was also one to remember.
Best place to beat up your Monday blues, the ambiance is so good and so is the food. Their taste of music is so good. Perfect place to relax and enjoy your food , a must visit place in town.
A nice little place just below the Priya Cinema Hall. I don't know about their cocktails but their mocktails are hands down amazing. I would also suggest that you try out their fish preparations. They are simply lip smacking. The people working there are very polite which makes your experience worthwhile.

There was Happy hours going on some selective brands.If you have movie tickets for Priya on same day you can have 15%off on total bill but in that case happy hours will not work for you. You have to choose either of them.
Lets come to food. I ordered Chicken Sweet corn soup, Orange and Ginger Mojito, Pork in BBQ sauce and Chermoula Marinated Fish.
Recommended : Mojito and fish
Price is reasonable and pocket friendly can say.
I liked the ambience here. The food was nice and tasty too. I tried pork for the second time, here. It was much much better than the pork I tried the first time in a different restaurant. Deducted one mark because I think the menu should have more variety and the taste of starters can be improved.
Recently visited this place. The ambiance was comforting with a soft music playing at the background while the decor was really beautiful.
Coming to food,tried their Barbecue Chicken Pizza with caramelized onions. It was a thin crusted pizza with 8 slices. The pizza tasted really well.
A must try if you plan to visit this place. The staff were also nice and courteous.

One of the most underrated restaurant in Kolkata... The staffs are helpful and understanding... The food was delicious... Happy hours available... Prices are not superhigh and affordable. I have been to Burnt Garlic a number of times with family & friends. It has been wonderful each & every time, except for a visit during the Durga Puja last year. The staff are very friendly & helpful. My kids love the pizza & burger at BG, my personal favourite is the Griller Pork Chops & the Pork Burger. Also, we always end up ordering the Burnt Garlic Fried Chicken. My recommendation is that you must try this restaurant at least once.
Very good food and very good restaurant. Pleased with all the services. I was completely mesmerized by the sole presence of a wonderful aroma of sweetness all around the place . Again the services facility are good and customer friendly . This restaurant is a must visit for foid lovers in Kolkata they would just simply like to get around this place watch a movie and then settle for a fresh food in reasonable price.
This hangout joint deserves a strong mention. Located just within Priya Cinema, we went there right after a movie for dinner and drinks.
1. The liquor is reasonably priced. The bloody mary was perfectly made.
2. The lamb spaghetti.bolognese is probably the best I've had in years, so flavorful and delicious.
3. We ended with the blueberry cheese cake that was again very well presented and delicious.
Special mention of the the staff who were extremely polite and courteous.

Second time visiting this place , had a good experience both times . We were served by waiter Kanchan who was prompt and courteous .The ambience is terrific .We had ordered mushrooms salt and pepper , it was crispy and spicy as adequate, Spaghetti lamb Bolognese which was very cheesy creamy and delicious.For desserts we had blueberry cheesecake ,it was served hot and the top blueberry jam was really delicious .

Amazing decor and ambience....the high chairs are extremely comfortable and have a pretty laid-back yet royal feel to it....we had ordered pan seared lemon butter bhetki,grilled butter prawns...porchini chicken with roasted potato and greens along with some amazing and innovate cocktails named frozen mango coconut daiquiri and posto Bata gondhoraj ghol....both used fresh ingredients and was refreshing for summers....food was well cooked and each had distinct character and one was different from the other....we had an amazing time courtesy the chilled out laid back ambience and ever smiling and courteous staff...highly recommended...love food love burnt garlic

Situated in the ground floor of Priya Cinema, this cozy and well decorated place serves good continental food. We received great service here. Staffs are polite and have good knowledge about the food they serve.
We were starving at the time we reached there for lunch, as it was a Thursday afternoon the place was empty, that's how we prefer though. We directly ordered our main course, lemon butter bhetki and chicken with roasted potato. Both of them was delicious and had adequate quantity. The mashed potato with the fish was creamy and tasted beautiful. We ordered one of there signature cocktail with posto bata, it tasted different but not great. It seemed the alcohol percentage was lot less than what should've been.
Overall good experience and worthy of multiple visits.
I had a lovely dinner experience here. We ordered chicken satay and roasted chilli pork along with couple of drinks. The food was extremely delicious and the portion was a lot for 2 people. After eating the appetizers we were so full that we couldn’t order the main course. I guess we should have ordered just 1 appetizer and main course. The fine decor made the place quite insta worthy. Very good place to eat and drink at the heart of south kolkata. The ambience was quite good and soothing.. food was tasty..and not very expensive though...people has plenty of room to hangout along with enjoying movie at priya cinema located at the same building....this pub even provides discount to people carrying movie tickets....a must visit place....

We have tried Indonesian Nasi and the taste was very good. Nice restaurant near to Lake mall area. Price is bit on a higher side though but it justifies the ambience. TV is there so one can enjoy cricket while dining in.
Great pub in the heart of South kolkata, with a variety of dishes to choose from. We ordered oyster pork, charmoula fish, coriander spaghetti, double lamb burger, and some drinks, and let me tell you it's definitely tasty. Been to many pubs, where the food wasn't their forte, but this hits different. Overall would recommend it to everyone.
