I love the cakes here with pie crust. Best of the lot. Love chocolate ganache, tart and puff pastry sections. They give you freshly baked good. Price is at a higher rate. The products are absolutely amazing. If you are a sweet tooth its an absolute visit. I visited the city center branch . Its pretty crowded.
I love all the pastries here. They make amazing celebration cakes as well, just the way you would want. A bit expensive, but every penny of yours will be worth it. I love the egg chicken sandwich from here. They also sell good quality breads and ice creams. Totally worth it.

Well to start off with...i love this place personally❤This is my patent bakery for the last 10 years.I have been loving its pastries insanely.My favorites are evasion slice,pineapple pudding,black forest,truffle pudding and their strawberry tart.Their preparation is vvvv different.I havent loved any bakery soo much as this.Plus they have a cute standing arrangement if you wanna have there.Their service is also very prompt and staff is very polite.Many more visits❤

cake tastes heavenly but it is very pricey compared to the size. the chocolate quality is great.
I had bought Chocolate Chip Cake, Chocolate Fudge Cake, Lemon Tart, Belgian Chocolate Capuccino Tart and Chicken Tikka In Masala Bun for Rs.1400.00( approx ). I took all of these as takeaways. I had visited their Loudon St. shop near Minto Park 2-3 times this time of the year. Nonetheless the taste was impeccable.
The pastry was soft and moist and just melts in the mouth.
Just love it.
Lemon tart is very nice and so is the the chocolate paraline pastry but if someone is solely dependent on the sample menu price on Zomato, they will receive the biggest blow of their lives when they reach the store. The food there is super pricey and sooner or later that might not be the correct marketing move for selling the food in bulk. Obviously, the big cakes will always remain a classic and people will keep ordering but I hope they do understand what is a medium budget food and what is high end. If it would have been a cafe, the pricing would have justified but kookie jar only attracts me when I want to order chocolate truffle birthday cake.

These two are the best pastries that Kookie Jar has to offer. My eternal favourite is the Evasion which has a consistently delicious melt-in-the-mouth taste. The pastries of Kookie Jar are heavenly, quite difficult to describe in words. Next time you are in CC1, give it a try. You won't regret!

This is one of the bakeries I've grown up enjoying the desserts of. I absolutely love their chocolate pyramid, mixed fruit pudding and mango cake when in season. They're definitely worth a try if you haven't already had it. Custom cakes are also available.

This place is a legend! I am yet to find another place that gives me such high satisfaction quotient for money spent.
Most of the pastries and tarts here are excellent, my top picks being salted caramel truffle pastry, cappuccino truffle pastry, toffee pastry, lemon tart, nut corner.
Tarts must be refrigerated first and then brought back to room temp for an hour to restore crispiness. A soggy tart eaten is an opportunity wasted.
Most pastries here have small shelf life. Post 6 hrs, the sponge cake layer will either become soggy or dry, depending on the ambient weather. Ganache, if present, will dry up and lose its shine. Even refrigeration and ziplocking cannot save it. Moisture will often creep into the sponge cake from surrounding layers of cream present in the pastry itself. Pastries with high amount of cream (e.g. salted caramel truffle pastry) are worst affected.
Tarts and cookies are more stable, can be successfully refrigerated for 2-3days. Brown butter, cappuccino and caramel aroma will, however, decay sharply after 24hrs.

I was in City centre and was just walking to see the places present there, came across this place and I was wondering seeing the name what it would be like.
I visited this place and to my surprise it was a small place with homemade icecreams, pastries and lot of snacks kept.
Me and my husband were any which ways hungry and we decided to try their Chicken Envelope and Chicken and Mushroom Patties.
We were delighted to try their chicken envelope as it had good chunks of chicken inside and tasted awesome.
The chicken and mushroom patties were also not bad but not as good as chicken envelope.
We had 2 of those chicken envelopes and still were not satisfied, as our stomach was full but it was so tasty that we wanted to eat more and more.
Tried their salted caramel cake and it just melted in the mouth with an awesome taste at the end which was a bit salty not exactly just tasted like one .
Would want to try their more pastries next time I visit this place.
Chicken Focaccia: This was a round pizza bread topped with chicken and few other things , very tasty .
Would love to try their ice creams as well someday.
Though the place doesn’t have any ambience or any seating arrangement as such but if you look at the place they maintain high quality standards and hygiene.
The place is a bit expensive than the other places but I guess that is becoz of the quality they maintain.
No doubt will surely visit this place again whenever I am in City Centre . I love trying everything on the menu of the place I like.

We ordered a fondant cake and a Alphanso Mango fresh fruit cake from here. The Fondant cake theme was 'Gym Girl' and it was well made. The chocolate cake inside was very good. The Mango cake was very fresh n tasty. The only negative is the exxxxtravagant cost which you have to bear for ordering cakes from here. The Mango cake alone costed 4k for 2 pounds.

We got two iconic lemon tarts from there (that were highly recommended to us by folks who visit Kolkata frequently), the bottom left one is the chocolate macaroon tart and we really think that’s a phenomenal invention for a tart.
