Go to place for the Bengali in me. Food is delicious and just keeps you wanting more. I think this is Bengali food at its best and it comes at a great price.
I normally love the foods at Bhojohori Manna... This time I ordered normal veg rice thali with Bhetki Paturi, Sorshe Illish, Daab Chingri. Everything was taste good. The only problem with this outlet is the sitting arrangements. The place is really small and congested. I would prefer going to other Bhojohori outlets where they have a comfortable ambience!!!

It's just near Paradise Cinema Hall in esplanade. Food quality is very good specially chhanar kopta and misti doi..i loved it. Pure bengali restaurant with delicious food.
This place is really good if you want to try authentic bengali food. Try the basanti pulao and daab chingri.

Hi guys,, been here today with my family. Ignore these negative comment. Just try it what I say. Chitol peti,, elish,, mutton rajasthani,, dove chingri. In desert nothing but nolen gurer ice cream. Mouth watering. Just go for these items. Trust me you will not regret it.

On my friend's birthday, we went to bhojohori manna, it was my first time, I am very impressed by the food and ambiance. nonel gurer icecream is their specialty (must try).
Excellent ambience and very homely treatment. Specially the food is too yummy. The most authentic decicacy I have ever tasted even being a pure vegetarian. A must have for all Food lovers!!

This place is worth trying. I havenât been in the city for a long time and I am a die hard fan Ilish and my god, I was not disappointed. Each of the food items were just amazing specially the Ilish maach. Enjoyed it. The price of each items just suits the taste. Will go back again for sure.
Reached here after lunch timings so some of the items I wanted to try were not there. Still got to taste the best of theirs food dishes.

Super close to New Market, this location of Bhojohori Manna has speedy customer service and a delicious spread of both veg and non-veg items. My friends who are non-vegetarians loved the seafood variety. And, I'm a vegetarian and equally enjoyed the veggie thaali, alu posto, alurdom and natun gurer ice ceam available. While, I preferred 6 Ballygunge Place more for the ambience, variety and presentation, if you're looking for a more home-cooked meal vibe, this is the place to be :)

Five star ratings are only for taste but service i will rate 2 stars n prices 1 star. I read someones review regarding service that the customer is forced to place order for high end dishes. Yes he is right. The restaurant does not display prices anywhere on menu. We ordered mutton ; they gave us only 3 pieces in a small bowl for rs 300/_. Other items were also costly n serving size was extra small. Luchi they charged per piece !! But the taste is out of the world so be cautious when you order food. Check serving size n prices.
Nice place to have Bengali cuisine...Foods are really very delicious .. specially the "Dab Chingri" & "Vetki Paturi"... But price is little expensive.. âš1k for 2 person... One more thing to notice please go there after 2 pm... All foods will be available then..

This place was recommended by one local when we asked to try the authentic Bengali Cuisine and we were not at all disappointed.
During Pooja time , only a limited menu was available but still it was very tasty. We had to wait for one hour to get out turn and after having food we found that it was worth waiting.
The food includes chollar dal, Golda chingra malai curry, Irish barishali, kosha mangsho, aam doi, sandesh, Bengali pulao, Mishti paan.
Place is easy to locate but congested. Only limited number of guests can have food may be 20.

Instead had dinner there the options are limited as they get food supplies from their main kitchen which was at other place.

There is nothing new to say about Bhojohori Manna that the people do not already know. It is a standard mid range chain of restaurants that we visit to quench our thirst for trademark Bengali food which we are at times too lazy to cook at home.
For this particular outlet, the food standard and prices are as usual but there is one problem here which is the seating capacity and table arrangements. It is a small place but at the same time too congested if the restaurant is full.
No other complaints about the food but I would personally prefer going to the other outlets just for the better ambience.

This place just sits beside our office known for its famous bengali preparations. Went there several times. One must try their bhetki paturi, basanti polao and mutton dakbanglow were the best items accirding to me. Pathar jhol was also great and macher matha die moog dal was another gem. Dont forget to eat the aam doi and rashomundir payesh.
So I went here to have their Daab Chingri. But, unfortunately could not due to its unavailability. So I went for Macher Chop, Jumbo Golda Chingri Malaikari, Bengali Pulao and Bhetki Rongpuri Fry.
It was a nice experience. The place is small and you might have to wait to have your chance to eat. But they serve authentic Bengali Food and I loved maacher chop and rongpuri fry the MOST.

Let me tell you first that winding up to the first floor to a small cozy place might give you second thoughts but don't fear buddy!! The food over here will take you to heaven itself!! The taste of every single thing is lip smacking!! We took plain rice (2por), Mochar ghonto, Ilish bhapa sorseh jhol diyeh and mutton dakbungalow!!! The ilish mutton everything was so great that me and my girlfriend couldn't stop awing!! And being a Bengali with a "Bhuri" let me tell you it was an amazing experience!!
When it comes to bengali food then Bhojohori Manna needs no introduction. I visited this branch with my friends and we were there for lunch.
We ordered Machher chop, Mutton Daak Bangla (with egg), Plain Rice, Machher Matha diye Dal, Alu Bhaja and Tomato Chutney.
The taste of the food was good. The machher chop was good. I always love that crispy alu bhaja and when it combines with machher matha diye daal then it becomes a treat to the taste buds. The mutton was also good. The chutney was usual type.
The staffs are good and helpful. But this place is not so spacious and the ambience is also not that good. I prefer to enjoy my food in a good ambience. On the whole the food experience was nice.
The food was very yum. Last week we were in Puri and we had both lunch and dinner there.my most fav was mutton dakbanglo. Bangali polao was one of my daughter's fav. And offcouse moralla macher chorchori.
When it comes to Bengali food, this is a kind of restaurant you can trust, I have found a great shukto, a mesmerising bhetki paturi and amazing mutton kosha!! Polao is not at all tasty, but I would recommend to change their decorations because itâs too bad but we just keep visiting the restaurant just because their food quality, Quantity is too less as per the price but Their prawn preparation will make you forget everything!!!

We have tried to visit here several times, but ultimately the hotel gives us a long queue. So, in order to avoid this, we focused to reach there sharp 1.00pm.
It's a place which serves various bengali traditional or off the way dishes. Starting with some crispy starters, 'bhetki macher chop' (āĻā§āĻāĻāĻŋ āĻŽāĻžāĻā§āĻ° āĻāĻĒ). Eat one, you definately order another, just like we, everyone have done. We are two and ordered polao(half), full rice, mug daal with fish(āĻŽāĻžāĻā§āĻ° āĻŽāĻžāĻĨāĻž āĻĻāĻŋā§ā§ āĻŽā§āĻ āĻĄāĻžāĻ˛), chanar dalna(āĻāĻžāĻ¨āĻžāĻ° āĻĄāĻžāĻ˛āĻ¨āĻž), chingrir Malaikari (āĻāĻŋāĻā§āĻŋāĻ° āĻŽāĻžāĻ˛āĻžāĻāĻāĻžāĻ°āĻŋ) , chicken kosha and chutney (āĻāĻŽā§āĻ° āĻāĻžāĻāĻ¨āĻŋ).
The experience was awesome. No doubt about the taste with price but some dishes are slightly over priced( like polao & rice).
Ambience is poor. You can't spend your time here except eating. The place is only for food not for some rejuvenation. But for us, food is rejuvenation or rejuvenation is food.
Staff behavior is good. Even the owner (don't know, the man sitting on cashier's desk, Mukherjee Babu) was really polite and helpful. We loved eating there. We missed due to some long queues for several times. But we really recommened this place.

Superv food quality. Today i have take lunch at Esplanade outlet, ordered pulao and vetki kalia and the food was delicious. But the space is very conjusted and only 36 no seat available there. You have to wait at least 45 minutes in queue fot your turn.

We went there for lunch. The place was already filled with customers. After waiting for around 10 minutes, we were given the table. We ordered Mini thali, Daab Chingri, Ilish paturi. The Ilish tasted delicious. Daab Chingri was also at its best. But I would suggest people to go for a la carte - you can order rice, aloo bhaja, dal, etc. The thali is quite expensive. For fish items, it's value for money.
Visited because I was craving luchi and mangsho, and they didn't disappoint. The prawn malaikari and basanti polao was excellent as well and so was the vegetable cutlet, rabdi and chutney. The staff were really nice, but they missed an item from our order while taking the order but made sure we receive it asap when informed.

The kosha mutton was beyond our expectation. it was very good. the rice was perfectly cooked and so was the mutton. we also had lentil which was very good. the price is a bit high and the place is small. other than that the experience was very good.
Good Bengali foods are available. It is next to KC Das mistir dokan in Esplanade.

The story of Bhojohori Manna began out of a garage space at Ekdalia, Kolkata in March 2003. Five friends from diverse backgrounds with no formal F & B training but having a passion for food and people, reckoned from their own personal experiences that there was a vacuum in Kolkata for simple 'home style' Bengali food. The name Bhojohori Manna was chosen from a popular Bengali film song rendered by the legendary singer Manna Dey. The humorous track "Ami Sri Sri Bhojohori Manna..." revolves around a widely travelled cook who returns to his native land with a signature culinary style. The business model was inspired by the charming old-world concept of 'pice hotels' and moulded to the requirements of the day.
Very small place. Food is tasty. But food hygiene was pretty poor, and the menu option were limited as not all items were available off the menu.

It is a decent place. Though the resturant is small. Not enough space there. Around 30 people can dine here at once. The behaviour of the staffs is good. And ambience is not so good. More like a roadside hotel. Now, about the food all I can say that this is over hyped in social media. The food quality is not so good. We took eilish sorshe, and it was not tasty at all. Rest of the food are also of average. And as this place is over hyped in social media, all this items are over priced. We get more tasty Bengali food here in durgapur at low price.

Amazing food! They give very small servings and you have take multiple so the price becomes like a normal restaurant. But you taste the real taste of Bengali cuisine. I highly recommend the Mutton Jhol. Dab chingri was also nice. Papda fish was very nice. I had the sorshe(mustard) gravy with it. But it was a bit pungent for my taste but I'm sure that's how it is authentically supposed to be. The vegetarian posto Bora (fried) and posto torai was very nice.
They make the food in a central kitchen and just heat it in their restaurant branches so the service is really quick.
Itâs a fine dining restaurant offering Bengali cuisine. Itâs not inexpensive, and not too expensive either. But the food is awesome. Bangali food at its best. We tried as many items as we could and one was better than the other! Vegetable items are delicious. Fishes too. As a Bangladeshi Bangali, the difference in cooking styles was all too apparent.
Awesome Bengali cuise.. every dish maintained its authenticity.. well balanced flavours of spices, yet comforting.. fast service..food completely worth the hype.. only thing is place was very congested to sit
Had a splendid, mouthwatering experience here at Bhojohori Manna. Even though the space is small but it doesn't disappoint because of its quality food. We had ordered - Steamed Rice, Daab Chingri, Daal, Bhetki Paturi, Katla Kalia, Bangali Pulao, Mutton Kosha. Well, I literally cannot choose any one among these to say which was the best, we loved all the items! The food was damn tasty and mouthwatering. I highly recommend everyone to come and eat here.
