Ambience is pretty good inside but the restaurant is located in such a place that you can't locate it properly. Moreover I personally do feel that outdoor decors may need some upgrades. Every staff was courteous enough and food quality is good enough.

Tried this place for the first time on 13th sept 2020. Was very skeptical about safety because of this pandemic situation but as soon as we reach there our doubts got clear. They keep all their plates and stuffs inside an UV sanitized dish box. After reaching there the staffs cleans the table infont of the customers. They also provide sanitizer sachets. We have ordered chili milli squid for starters. It was light spicy pan fried squid. Really recommended. Next there famous bamboo biriyani and lava mutton was was served. Biriyani is lightly on the spicy side not exactly Kolkata style biriyani but the taste is good. Lava mutton was also nice, if the mutton balls were little more juicy then it would have been mind blowing. Along with it fresh lime soda and masala coke was there. Kesari kheer just completed the meal. It tasted too good. And is a must have from this place.The staffs were the best part of this place, they were exceptionally well behaved and helpful. The kesar kheer was complimentary as it was my birthday. A big thank you for that.

**Decoration- The famous movie 'Pirates of Caribbean' is the main concept of this restaurant. The interior is very similar with a structure of an ancient ship. Starting from the seats to the hanging tables, the play guns on the walls are extremely outspoken about their theme. Lighting is playing an important role for giving an rustic feel of it's ambience.

••Squid Butter Chilly Fry- The preparation is very unique itself. Small crispy squid pieces infused with grated coconut & green chilli paste. Butter has a prominent presence in this dish. So, this will be enlisted in my list for every visit onwards.
••Arabic Fusion Kabsa- This is a must try item of this place. Kabsa Biryani is originated from Saudi Arabia. Imagine, about a plate which is full of aromatic rice (cashew, raisin & dry dates are added for flavour) is served with a whole roasted chicken, isn't it drooling enough? Yesss! Ofcourse!
••Vetki Poli Mirch- Fresh vetki pieces cooked in a tasty gravy. The gravy is seasoned with red chilli, black pepper, ajwain, tamarind. Perfectly goes with any rice item.
••Sahi Kheer- Kheer is a well known dessert. Thick mixture of rice powder & milk. Dry fruits & saffron are added for flavour. Excellent royal ending!

A perfect place for lunch. Brilliantly decorated and perfect ambience. The place gives the vibes of Pirates of Carribbean with all the props well decorated and the dine-in place turned into one of the crew chamber with bunkers and other stuffs.

The place is perfectly being sanitised.
They will sanitise the table in front of you.
All staffs are wearing masks and plastic gloves(hand care).
Plates and other utensils are kept in a UV-B blue light cabinet for sterilization.
Sanitization before entering and after leaving were also given.
P.S - a plate full of pocket hand rub were being given for sanitising before having food.
All together it was a nice experience.

Best tribal food in kolkata . Must try kali mirch chiken tikka . Its taste awesome and not so spicy . Its a starter item . We have ordered lots of food like kabsa. Kabsa is the signature dish at fusion fantasea its full chiken shareing for two people . Then we ordered two bambo biriyani one mutton and one chiken that biriyani taste like haydrabad smell rice was marinated with some spices and 4 piece of chiken /mutton added . One bambo biriyani 2 people for enough . So go and visit there theme (pirates ) and spent some happy moments . Ohh one main thing they are fully sanitaised the hole restaurant and mainly focus on cleaning so not to warry about anything go and enjoy .
An amazing place with great theme work. Well there's no comparison, they serve the most delicious & authentic bamboo biryani in town. Roghan Josh is also a must try.

We ordered 3 mutton bamboo biryani, ,1 chicken starter and chicken lava ghost. The food quality was outstanding, the quantity of 1 biryani is sufficient for two people. 1 bamboo biryani consists of 4 pieces of mutton, 1 egg. The ambience was decent and the behaviour of the staffs were also polite and good. They aslo offered us complimentary cold drink at the end. Highly recommended from my side.

A trend in the town is to have bamboo biriyani and the best place to have it is FUSION FANTASEA. A pirates of Caribbean themed restaurant situated in the lanes of southern Avenue with just 10mins from triangular park is the attention of the town at this moment.
We have ordered chicken bamboo biriyani which costed around Rs 300, along with a chicken crispy starter(not remembering the exact name..but do recommend the picture to the staff for ordering this) which was around Rs 200.
First things first, the biryani..or the most importantly "BAMBOO BIRIYANI", the speciality of this being cooked in dum inside a bamboo to give the essence of raw bamboo. If you compare it with a normal kolkata biriyani, its not just, because it has its own bit of flavour. The flavors were rich, and the spices was infused to perfection. Compared to Kolkata biriyani it is a bit more spicy by the color of the image you can guess. Trust me you would love for a try atleast once ,and who knows you may love it so that you try it more. The way it is presented is simply superb and worth capturing infact. The quantity can serve two people.
The chicken starter was indeed another delicacy of flavour and spices and trust me it was one of the best starters I had. It is a must recommended.
The ambience is brilliant and the food is delivered from the kitchen through a lift, which is another unique feature observed.
Do check this place out for awesome other foods as well and we highly recommend the above foods as well.

This place has a nice interior and gentle staffs. Now about the food, bamboo biryani is fine but don't expect "biryani" wala biryani! It's totally different, there's kaju and a bit of sweetness also. If there's not "kolkata biryani" in your head you may love it also. And the lava ghost was too good!! Must try kinda! You can definitely visit this place! Google map will help you with the direction very accurately if you in need! And yes food is good here and so the ambience.

Bamboo Biriyani(Chicken) The biriyani was light along with a beautiful aroma in the rice due to burnt charcoal, making it more juicy and it just melts in your mouth. Lava ghost (Mutton)- First of all a big thumbs for the way it is presented. Very appealing and it gives you high expectations. Now about the taste, the mutton was minced well and was tasty. Talking about the gravy, the consistency was thick and Bengalis like us we love that brown thick gravy alongside biriyani, a perfect match. AMBIENCE- Tribal themed place. Along with that, it will give you vibes of a seafood restaurant. Fisherman nets hanging, boats and other sea vehicles decorated the place. Still, i would say the interiors could have been less gloomy and more organised.
FOOD-
We had:
1. BAMBOO CHICKEN BIRYANI- I quite liked the concept of cooking biriyani in a bamboo shoot. As a result of which, a very light smoky flavor was added to it. Apart from it, there was nothing extra or special about it.
2. MURGH GHEE ROAST - I wanted to taste this dish since long. Was just curious regarding how ghee would taste with chicken. It is one-try-worthy. There was a faint smell of
ghee. It was tasty. Recommended.
3. BAKHAR KHANI- A soft roti type of thing. I didn't get any smell of saffron or milk as they claimed in their menu.
4. LAVA GOSHT CHICKEN- It was a unique dish. Its flavors were quite different and special. I recommend.
We visited the place during puja. There was a hell lot of rush. We had to wait for like 45 mins approx. Still, i would say the place was worth the wait. They maintained to keep up the quality and the tasty during the puja time too.
I will visit again for the other tribal and sea food delicacies.

Ambience is nice and unique and theme of this place is a pirate ship.
I heard a lot about this place especially about their bamboo biryani. So i tried mutton bamboo biryani and ghee roast chicken. Bamboo biryani was nice but not that much good. It came with 2piece of mutton and one egg. Mutton was flavourful and tender. Ghee roast chicken was not upto the mark from my side. They added curry leaves, flavour of which was very overpowering. Otherwise the dish was good but not like proper ghee roast chicken.
Quantity was upto the mark and one portion is perfect for two people.
Staffs here are courteous and polite.
Service was fast and upto the mark.
Bamboo chicken briyani was something very delicious at a pocket friendly range. Try to avoid this place during any vacation

"FUSION FANTASEA" is one of very famous restaurant for its fusionary Costal cuisine . Yesterday I had visited their restaurant which was located at Southern Avenue , near from Kamala girls school and just beside lane from Cafe Coffee day.
• Ambience of this place is very nice with beautiful wooden structures and chair tables . Specially many table's design was rocker style and this structure of this restaurant was really unique.
• This restaurant was really very nice for their way that how to welcome their guests and treat them not like a customer just like a guests.
• I had tried their Kali Mirch Murg Tikka as a starter and Bamboo mutton Biryani as a main course and as it is a fusion restaurant so must be try any fusion in menu .. so asper their chief's suggestion we tried with biriyani , Poli Mirchi Fish as a side dish.
• Kali Mirch Tikka was so nice in taste.. Chicken are so soft and infused with spice.
• The main attraction Bamboo Mutton Biryani was superb. It was a different taste not like a similar taste of other mughal biriyani . It's taste was really a Fusionary taste it had cashew also. And the mutton was also soo soft too yummy. Overall the Bamboo biriyani was really just WOWSOME!!
• And I have said it before that as it is a fusion restaurant so must be try some fusion in menu so according to their chief's suggestion I tried Poli Mirchi Fish with biriyani. And seriously poli mirch fish just fantastic in taste . With biriyani it was just awesome . Must try it.
•Quantity and quality of each item was enough and upto the mark. Prices are appropriate according to the quality and quantity of food.

If you really like seafood and want to try the South Indian flavoured ones, this place is a must. We went there on a mid-week afternoon. First let me mention that locating the place took a lot of time for us. We were extremely hungry by the time we arrived so we forgot to click pics.
What we ordered?
1. Butter chilly fry squid (5/5): One word: Delicious. Remembering the flavour makes my mouth salivate. Spicy and not for the faint hearted though. Oily too, but who cares as long as it's tasty. Squid cooked in a red gravy and lots of butter with a mix of South Indian spices, a must try.
2. Ghee roast octopus (4/5): If you have ordered the squid dish do not order this one as the flavours were more or less similar. Spicy gravy. Just the texture of the sea food was the difference.
3. Crab poli mirchi (3/5): I gave it a little less points because of the extreme difficulty in having it. What we thought was that the crab meat will be cooked in the gravy but the crab portions were with the shell and it would have been better if was served separate. The gravy was tasty though. But it's a messy affair.
4. Kovakki Rice (5/5): I extremely liked the flavour of this particular dish. Tasted it for the first time and was in love with it. Though my friend pointed out that it was oily, still it was packed with flavours.
5. Fantasea delight (mocktail) (5/5): This particular drink is a combination of all the fruit juice that you can think about. Though been skeptical at first, we ordered it, but we were not disappointed at all.
6. Kokum sea beach mocktail (5/5): Who does not love kokum, the tangy flavour along with a mild spices made the drink very refreshing. It's a must try.
The ambiance of the place gives you a cool vibe. On one side is the giant poster of Jack Sparrow. The whole arrangement is more like that inside a ship. But if packed with customers, the place might give a little bit claustrophobia to some.

Went there last day for lunch. The restaurant was basically of pirates themed inspired by the Pirates of the Carribean. The decor and the ambience was quite impressive. Ok so this is my second review for zomato about "Fusion Fantasea"
Yesterday we had our Anniversary dinner there. In this review I will be talk about four things! Ambiance, food, price & staff. So lets talk about ambiance, in the past the restaurant was spread in 3 floors but now 1st floor is closed. So we got our table booked in 2nd floor via ZOMATO ( we had a pre booking)
This is you can say the main attraction of the restaurant. Its Pirate Theme, you will feel like you r in a Pirate ship. If you like dark, deep cozy ambiance you will surely like it. In the 3rd floor it has tribal themed. Nathing so fancy mostly for parties. Now comes the food and price part. Food was finger licking. Mutton in every item was sooooo tender that its melt like magic in your mouth. Generally I didn't like mutton in many places. But in this restaurant its just wow. Also the fish and prwan was soo tender and juicy. Every gravy, rice, starter was well made. Nathing to complain about. From the price point the quantity then give its ok. Our pocket pinch was in a little bit higher coz we order a lot of things. We had a proper more then filling meal. If you go there for a casual meal your pocket pinch will be not much. And also we first order a Bamboo mutton biriyani but its not enough for two people like us ( me and my Husband) so we had to order a nather mutton polao. But then that was become too heavy for us. Make sure you order wisely. Okk now the last thing staff, they are very much help full you can completely relia on them while ordering.

Went there at 25th December.. ordered bamboo biriyani, mutton arbi ghosht, squid ghee roast, bakhar khani..each and everything was superb..bamboo biriyani was in good quantity.. quantity of mutton arbi ghosht can be increased.. otherwise the dishes were awesome..but the only negative point was slow service..we had to wait almost 45 minutes.. otherwise the place is awesome..
The decor is amazing along with a very courteous staff. The speciality is their food fusion, the combination of food styles. We tried the bamboo mutton biriyani along with lava gosht chicken which was amazing as a combination. We also had carribean mango mocktail and Sufta, their special dessert.
Overall you won't regret giving it a try!
Every dishes were fingure licking. I liked the service . I tried the roti type cover of polao dish and yeah you can eat it like a complementary with the gravy item. Special thanks to the staffs and the cook.
I heard many times about this place so quite curious about it. We ordered Bamboo Biryani, Arabian Kabsa, a dish like Mutton Pulao (I forgot the actual name) and Mutton Lava Ghost. All the dishes were delicious. However, I must mention the Arabian Kabsa specially - it was just great! The ambiance was also very catchy. The staff were very friendly and courteous, specially Mr. Sabyasachi. We enjoyed a lot.
A word of caution: Bamboo Biryani is very different from Kolkata/Lukhnow Biryani. Kindly keep it in mind while ordering, otherwise you may get disappointed.
Nice decorations,, staffs are not that professional.now the main factor that is food.. food was not as good as expected..but its a must try place.. we tried few rice items and few chicken grvy item. And bread items. Few are verrrry delicious and few items are okok.. with a good ambience and few selective good dishes this is a great place to visit.
Ambience beautiful. Good staff .also Mr. Debasis suggested some menu in fish and moctail.
good place to dine. ample parking space available nearby. food quality is excellent. we enjoyed bamboo mutton biriyani. rustam kebab was new to us, taste wise good. lava gost mutton was spectacular but it tasted like raw mutton. shahi kheer was lacking sweetness.
overall experience is very good. nice ambience, good staff behaviour. sure to visit again very soon to try more varieties.

Food quality is too much juicy ,soft very delicious , i have ordered kabab name : RUSTAM you must try .& There attractive food is bamboo biriyani & ghost polao which is the main attraction ike a magnetic. Love this place & thankyou fusion Fantasia to feel us a very comfortable zone .
Apart from their bamboo biriyani, the food offered by this place is great, loved the atmosphere and the set up.. a sea themed ambience along with decorations is quite intriguing.. the right amount of spiciness along with the rightly cooked meat made the side dish a yum..
Ambience is too good, you must have to go, quality of food is 😘, pocket friendly. You also go with your family. Newly added the hookah section.
Random Tuesday afternoon date, done right. loved the food options, and got to try a variety of new options. The bamboo biryani combined with cochin prawn curry was amazing, the crab poli mirchi was delectable , the rustam kebab is innovative and delicious. the Bakar Kahni bread is tasty. overall loved the service and the ambience. would recommend a visit to everyone.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fusion Fantasea restaurant multiple times, and I must say it has become one of my favorite places to indulge in seafood, tribal cuisine, and Arabic fusion food. This restaurant truly knows how to create a memorable dining experience.
The seafood dishes at Fusion Fantasea are simply outstanding. The Chilli mili octopus is a spicy and flavorful dish that is sure to tantalize your taste buds. The ghee roast octopus is another must-try, with its rich and aromatic flavors. And let's not forget the koli wada squid, which is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
For those looking to explore tribal cuisine, Fusion Fantasea offers a range of delectable options. The bamboo biryani is a unique and delicious dish that is cooked to perfection. The jhupu pisi mutton is another standout, with its tender meat and flavorful spices. And if you're in the mood for something different, try the red rice - jadoh or the bansh pora mutton with shoru chakli.

I was unable to try more item but would love come again to this place.
I have visited Fusion Fantasea so many times but am writing the review in Google for the very first time. It's a themed restaurant which mainly serves tribal and sea food. My all time favourite item here is Arbi gosht mutton pulao. This time I ordered charmola chicken, smoked crab, arbi gosht mutton pulao, arbi gosht chicken pulao, lava gosht chicken. All items were finger licking good. The staff are very courteous. I would love to visit this place again.
Great place , great menu and a variety of things to pick n choose from . Good service good food. Cannot segregate the good from the best , be it crab or bamboo Biriyani or shahi Kheer all have there own charisma

Mutton Rogan Josh had the meat slightly underdone, and wasn't hot enough. But the flavour was excellent. Bans pora chicken was amazing! Quantity should be more though. Arbi pulao and Khamali roti were also quite excellent. Great experience.

This restaurant is little tricky to find.
If you are a fan of captain Jack Sparrow and the movie , The Pirates of the Caribbean then you'll love this place. The ambiance like you're in a ship..
The place is specifically popular by there's bamboo biryani,
so we decided to visit and try their signature dish.
We ordered ->
• BAKHAR KHANI : A special kashmiri bread fused with saffron and milk.
The yellow one, test was totally different not like normal naan or other breads. Good to taste
• KHAMARI ROTI : Special Tibetan soft bread.
It's similar to kind of tandoori type test but okies.
• CHICKEN GHEE ROAST : Fused with combination of spices, chillies, onion flavoured with pure Ghee.
For this item Our expectations was bit high but this item not so good as we thought..
This item totally a curry leaf based so that's why taste like karwa.
• BAMBOO BIRYANI CHICKEN : Test wise perfect they provide one egg, tow piece of chicken. But quantity was low, this is the disadvantage of ordering the bamboo biryani. One bamboo biryani not enough for tow people.
• LAVA GOSHT MUTTON : One of my best tested dish.. in one word PERFECT! but we thought they provide solid mutton pieces but there was keema based curry. highly Recommend for this mouth melting dish. Presentation concept was so innovative. I just love this item.
Budget was ok type not so high or not so low.
We enjoyed every item..

Extremely varied menu and very interactive cuisine. Exploring new dishes is a must here. The overall taste of all the dishes was great.Ambience is so good . All the items are so unique and I , myself liked Bamboo Chicken Biriyani and Lava Gosht Mutton very much .Food quality is totally soooo good and their hospitality was so fabulous. Ambience melted meVery limited food options as per me. Very sophisticated menu which is difficult to decipher and they charge extra for some items which has a fixed mrp on the basis of service charge like water.Lovely place, nice cordial behavior, excellent food!We received a royal treatment from the staff who were able to provide us with details of the food that was being ordered. We had chicken yakhni, Kashmiri roti called bakhar khari and khamari roti which we had with mutton cooked in bamboo stem. We also had soru chakli, an oriya sweet roti with the mutton. It was extraordinary and sumptuous. The biryani cooked in bamboo stem and served with a fusion of firni was something we all ate to the last bite. Absolutely unmissable
