Went yesterday with my family. Ambience is superb. Food is awesome. Quantity is much as compared to the price. Quality of food is quite good. Would definitely like to visit again !!

Nice Ambience with the most nostalgic pictures of Tollywood film industry..there was a music playing in the background with the most nostalgic Bengali songs .They have a huge drinks collection the price of the drink are affordable not extra charges taken ..The restaurant was a dark themed .The food and starters are also good and the staffs are also nice. Place can be visit by small budget office parties ,birthday parties they have a cabin of parties if u booked they arrange for it..
Beautiful place. The gandharaj fish was new to me but unfortunately the fish was bad. But the staff was so good that they immediately changed the dish. The beverages were awesome. Good place to hang out with family and friends. Had a good Time.

Tolly tales is a very nice restaurant located at Southern Avenue near to lake Kali Bari . They have ample sitting arrangements can hold 40 - 50 people at once and has a very nice ambience. Coming to the food it was very tasty, the pahari kebab and the achari kebab was nice and the dum biriyani was also great. Looking forward to visit them again.

I tried here Chicken Lat Mai Kai and Chicken Pahari Kebab in Starter, Chicken Noodles, Keongs Chicken, Chicken Biriyani, Chicken Bharta and Butter Naan in Maincourse. All the items are of good taste.

From a long I was thinking to visit this place. Suddenly one day I decided to go there. It is located just opposite to xrong place. Tolly tales has carried their ambience and decoration according to their name. There so many food options are available, but I opted to indian. Food was quite good, but not outstanding. Presentation was not so decorative. But behaviour of the staffs were friendly. Price was like manageable. Overall my experience was good, not excellent. But who didn't visited this place till now, you can try once. 🙂
The place is really good. Especially it is pocket friendly with well trained staff. It also good for cheap alcohol unlike other places. It has got really good ambiance.

One of the finest place for dine out. I really loved their ambience, food everything.
"Tollywood tadka" is the appropriate title for this place. The interior design of this place is amazing! One of the best themed restaurant in town. We went there during a winter noon for lunch. Had chicken reshmi kebab and mutton dum biryani. This place serves happy hours [2:1] all the time, which makes it more attractive. Their food tasted good but the quantity can be improved a little bit. Hope to visit soon. Thank you.

This outlet is near Southern Avenue. We got seats easily. We have ordered 2 plate chicken biriyani and chicken tikka masala and grilled chicken.... truly that lunch was great...grilled chicken is full of spices and amazing test....Biriyani was also very good.... chicken pieces was so soft. You can enjoy the ambiance friends, family or your loved ones. Service was also up to the mark. Truly made our day with so much good memories.
ambiance : there is only one thing that I really love about this place is the mirror they have near the restroom. It's really beautiful place to click some great pics, that's mirror side is beautifully decorated. Other than that this place is nice and cozy and clean too.
Food: I loved thr chicken tikka it was juicy and delicious. But the biryani was very muc sweet and I didn't feel it was at all like biryani.

On a puja night when every place is packed to the brim, southern avenue can be your Savoir. The sheer number of restaurants on the this stretch of road is simply mind-blowing. It can handle even the largest of crowds. Thankfully we got table immediately on shasti night at tolly tales without waiting. Its a dim lit place with gives somewhat tollywood backstage kind of vibe. During the pujas one would expect the food quality would degrade but fortunately for us this restaurant did not disappoint.
We ordered a lot, chicken pahari kebabs and barbecue chicken wings for starters. Both of which was lip smacking. The barbecue sauce was spot on and the pahari kebabs was soft juicy and well flavored.
For the main course we penne chicken pasta in white sauce, chicken steak in white mushroom sauce,mixed fried rice and chilli gravy pork.
The pasta and the chicken steak was outstanding. The pasta was probably the best dish we had. The steak was also quite tender and perfectly balanced.
The only thing that I could complain about is the pork. Even though the gravy was ok the meat itselt was a bit hard and felt slightly uncooked. Apart from the a really good experience. Loved it.
Tempura battered fish is amazing in taste! Recommended. All of the other dishes were tasty as well. And the restaurant has a good ambience and friendly staff.
Tolly Tales is a very popular place now in Kolkata specially amongst the youngsters. The decor has been nicely done with some rare posters of the popular movies of the bygone era. The staffs were really good and helpful. We ordered Chicken Tikka Kebab, Chicken Pahari Tikka, Mixed Hakka Noodles and Hot Garlic Fish. Food was really good in terms of both quality and quantity. One thing I must mention, I expected this place to be pricey but price is extremely reasonable compared to the quality.
This is a Tollywood themed restaurant located at tollygunge. We have tried their bacon wrapped prawn, butter keema, nd butter tandoori roti. Every dish was so delicious nd perfectly cooked..
Their price is a little high but I think the taste worth every penny. Loved the place.. nd 100 percent recommended..
Today we went to this place... We had an overall nice experience. The decor too is good based on indian film industry...so we ordered Dragon chicken and on main course- Mixed fried rice and Pan fried chili fish.

1) Mixed Hakka Noodles:- it's truly amazing made with lots of vegetables , fried chicken and fried prawn. It's too much tasty. Price - 210/- must try this.
2) Mixed Fried Rice:- it's also very yaaumyyy and tasty made with vegetables, fried chicken, and fried prawn. Price - 210/-
3) Sula Red Wine:- price 350/-
4)Dry Chilli Chicken:- it's my favourite dish. Price :-250 .must try this.

I had been here recently for lunch, and the experience was more than amazing. From sumptuous food combined with a well decorated ambience and extremely courteous staff ready to greet you, you really can't ask for anything better.
Had the pan fried chilli fish and lat me kai chicken, both of which were well cooked. The fish was a bit overfried but the overall taste and service did make up for it. In the main course we had chicken fried rice with garlic fish. The food was delicious and the quantities of spices were eithin limits. They've a good collection of spirits as well with happy hour offers on select brands. Price was quite reasonable in comparison to the quality of service they provided. Thoroughly satisfied. 😎
