Wow, Name itself is so creative, you guys will rock. Nice Logo, All the best and do your best.
FIRANGI MADRAS is located in Bangur. Bangur is a place in general with a lot of food that is to be explored. So we just came across this place one day from a friend and thought of trying this South Indian restaurant.
We were amazed to see this place which had so many variations in their menu. We tried the CHEESE BURST MAGGI DOSA.
Okay! now we all love maggi and who does not like having a nice burst of cheese in their mouth.....but did we think it would be tasty to inculcate cheese burst in our south indian favorite dish dosa and not just our pizzas. This is surely a must try for everyone who loves cheese and maggi. You will not even require sides of chutney sambhar or ketchup because the dish itself is so flavorful.
The place is hygienic and good to go with your family and friends.

Their cheese burst Maggie dosa was very different from the usual dosas ( in a good way ofcourse), not very pocket friendly but definitely a must try if you want to try something different.

Firangi Madras => South Indian delicacies with a fusion twist.!
Love South Indian dishes with a twist? Firangi Madras is all set to tantalize your tastebuds with their unique twist on traditional South Indian staples and dishes by putting forth a delectable and never imagined before dishes hailing from the Southern part of India. Be it the quitessential Idli or the Dosa, Firangi Madras has conceptualized a unique way by adding on to their own little twist and churning out something more delectable and mouthwatering from their kitchen. Located in the bylanes of Bangur, this medium sized fine dining eatery not only focuses on the traditional staples, but has also found out to innovate on beverages and desserts.
Welcome drink: A light and fresh Ghol flavoured with fresh mint leaves.
Tandoori Idli: Love the heat and smoke of Tandoor? Not much vegetarian options available though. Firangi Madras has put its own spin on idli and Tandoor, by combining them both. Cubes of freshly prepared idli and vegetables marinated in tandoori spices, and then smoked in tandoor. Served with cabbages and bell peppers for decoration and mint and coriander chutney as accompainents.
Cheese Burst Maggi Dosa: Love Maggi? Love Dosa? I fondly remember those days of stuffing Maggi within two portions of breads in my childhood. Something similar though, only elevated and heightened with the presence of liquid cheese and crushed cheese, which is put along with the Maggi and stuffed inside the Paper Dosa. The final result is a crispy Dosa, with a delectable Maggi filling and gooey and cheesy texture.
Oreintal Idli Satay: A South Indian concoction with Indonesian punch. Idli cubes marinated spices, grilled and served in skewers with peanut dip and honey dressing.
Peri Peri Paneer Dosa: Dosa batter flavoured with in-house peri peri masala alongside the paneer cubes and served with Chipotle Mayo dip.
Spring Roll Dosa: An oriental touch to our familiar dosa, this had a Dosa stuffed with greens and flavoured with sweet chilli sauce to induce the oriental aroma. Cut into portions of a spring roll and served with sweet chilli sauce.
Choco Lava Dosa: Crispy paper dosa stuffed with crushed chocolate brownie, chocolate chunks and sprinkled with chocolate sauce. Served with vanilla icecream, this should be any dessert lovers’ dream.
Shahi Idli Tukda: Perhaps the best twist served to us. Idli cubes pan fried in pure ghee and flavoured with Kesar to impart the feeling of a traditional Shahi Tukda. The idli cubes were crisp, rich and yet not too sweet and reciprocated well the vibes of a standard Shahi Tukda. One dish, which would definitely go for a repeat order.
These innovations are selective and attention has been given to sort out the specific flavours which may be liked by our Indianized palette. The service was quick and smooth. The best part though? The food! Definitely a must try, if you plan to indulge into something new with a twist.

Twisting South Indian delicacies with a global twirk at Firangi Madras
Cheese to chocolate — vegetarian dishes have started reigning the food map of Kolkata already. Fresh new concepts have given dynamism to concept food in the Kolkata food scenes. One such deadly trial turned to a food paradise is Firangi Madras. Come let's explore on.
Where? The address reads Bangur Avenue, 22, Block C, Bangur, Lake Town. This one is one of the by-lanes of the Bangur Avenue.
What's it about?
A relatively fresh concept, goes by the nominals. Firangi Madras boasts of South Indian food with the global twirk. The seating space is also well planned including an area where you can fold your legs, relax and have your food, a typical South Indian tradition. Rest of the area are tabled.
What's available?
Death By Chocolate – a special chocolate drink which cant help but relish.
Tandoori idli - This is idli cubes marinated in Tandoori spices with veggies smoked in tandoor and served with mint & coriander dip.
Cheese burst Maggi dosa - This cheese-burst Maggi dosa is a delicacy introduced to Kolkata for the first time. The dosa is served with the regular sambar and chutney, but only with some brilliantly infused flavours, in the form of the add-ons. The volcanic eruption of cheese with the perfect flavor of Maggi within the dosa is something to watch out for.
Oriental idli satay - This is Idli marinated with Thai flavours tangy & spicy served with a salad with a honey dressing and peanut dip.
Peri Peri paneer dosa - Dosa smeared in in-house sauce and Peri Peri masala over paneer and veggies and served with Chipotle Mayo dip.
Spring roll dosa - Dosa stuffed with Chinese greens and served with sweet chilli sauce, gives you the intact flavour of Oriental Spring roll.
Desserts:
Shahi idli tukda - Idli fried in desi ghee sweetened with Kesariya flavour and topped with pista ice cream.
Choco lava dosa - This is Dosa smeared with choco fudge Sauce which is made inhouse served with vanilla ice cream.
Excelling in South Indian delicacies with a global twist is indeed difficult, but they have kept their basics excellent. The authentic South Indian delicacies like Dosa, idli, sambar is something to crave for,so truly amazing.
So dive in guys to explore the global confluence on your favourite South Indian delicacy.
Cheers!
Firangi Madras is a twist of the food with it's core South Indian cuisine, kept in tact. The food? Lip smacking. The ambience? Completely mesmerizing. The service? Top Notch. Some restaurants make good food, some make great food. And some like Firangi Madras serve amazingly delicious food. Their menu comprises typically South Indian dishes. But that’s not the highlight. Their USP are the creative takes on these traditional dishes that we have been having for all our lives.
For example the Tandoori Idli looks just like any paneer tandoori, it smells like tandoori and the tandoori pieces has a texture of tandoori paneer. But it tastes so unique that the hardcore non-vegetarians like us couldn’t resist ourselves to a second helping! The Oriental Idli Satay is another example of the ingenious creativity of the owners. The Idli chunks are smeared with a spicy hot sauce then grilled. Try it with their homemade sauce! It’s delicious!!!
The Cheese burst Maggi dosa they make here is a comfort food. The cheese is on the inside and on the outside. The complete blend of the components are carefully balanced. Although the quantity is best for two people. Peri Peri paneer dosa is a signature dish here again. The dosa is smeared with spicy peri peri sauce on the inside and filled with paneer. Tastes fantastic. But the Spring roll dosa is an innovation that binds Chinese and South Indian flavours and I was totally taken back the resulting dish! It was delicious to say the least!
The dessert part of the dishes are no less interesting Choco lava dosa with ice-cream was definitely intriguing. But the Shahi Idli Tukda is damn good. The idli is fried in ghee and topped with kesar pista ice-cream. What a treat!
From a carefully curated menu, serving size, and price Firangi Madras is easily one of the best places for South Indian dishes. The new dishes as well as the traditional dishes are truly delicious. Even their Sambar and chutney is to die for. I cannot but recommend this restaurant for all your Dosa and Idli cravings. I cannot wait to revisit them!
👌complimentary buttermilk welcoming you
👌Jini dosa
👌good music
👌 pizza dosa
Okayish ratings for the sitting area

Great place with great food...
The quantity may not be much satisfying but the taste was outstanding....
The ambience of the place is sober and the staff of the place is very friendly.
Coming to the food, it is super delicious and cheesy. Every thing I tried was super amazing especially the cheese burst dosa and pizza dosa. The Maggie lasagne and extra cheese garlic bread give amazing cheese pulls for Instagram. This quality of food is great. A very amazing experience it was.
Best place to hangout with your friends 😋😋😋
Must visit to grab such delicious food ❤😋
Everyone must visit this place
And suggest your friends also to visit
A small joint in Bangur, this place boast of its firangi take on South Indian food. The star dish is the cheese burst maggi dosa. Hands down the best fusion dish I've had. Prices are quite reasonable as well. We also had cold coffee and masala french fries which was average.
I first time visited this place with my friend. She recommended it. And i was quite impressed with the service and the food as well. Looking forward to visit once again..
Beautifully decorated little cosy cafe with delicious food, great service, varied variety and easy on the pocket.
Went there on a Thursday afternoon, ordered masala dosa, sambhar vada and Chinese bhel.. Everything was up to the mark.. The complimentary chaach on a hot summer afternoon was the best of all..!
5/5 for the amazing and different innovations.
The pizza dosa, fried idli, maggi dosa, ans someothers are highly mouth watering ans perfect for a craving. Even the regular South Indian food is tasty. The ambience fits so well with the theme.
Though South Indian is not a cuisine preferred by me But still tried due to many positive reviews and recommendations.
The food is really nice . Being South Indian restaurant still the food has a unique delicacy in it. The flavors are really cool and I like the way of representation.....Thank You
Good place with nice seating arrangement. Food was good except Cold Coffee with Ice Cream. The Pizza Dosa was just awesome, though there was some chilly in Pav Bhaji Dosa but the taste was good. This place also offers Home delivery but i would suggest to Dine Out.

Tucked away in by-lane in Bangur, Firnagi Madras brings to you the regular dishes with some twist and fusion. It’s a humble restaurant with a seating capacity of around 50 people. The interiors are also normal yet pleasing.
Coming to the food, we had Cheese Pull-Apart Vada, Cheese Burst Maggi Dosa, Peri Peri Paneer Dosa and French Fries Dosa. All these items were pretty unique, being first of their kind in the city. The dosa have the filling of the said ingredients in their title. Overall I liked the food. We also tried the Death by Chocolate drink which is something very amazing. Definitely try it out.
Pricing is reasonable. Not too low not too high. Service is slow on weekends.
Have tried south indian dosas but this is the first time trying out these cheese burst dosas. Tasted just out of the world. I would highly recommend these dosas. Dosa with cheese is just a deadly combination . Cheese as well as dosa lovers must give it a shot .
This is certainly not the hub for Madrasi delicacies but if you want to opt for other cuisines right at the heart of the town then darling you are on the right track.
Small ..simple.. quiet.. yet nice place!
On the way to airport dropped in for some quick light bite... and it surely did not disappoint.
The dosas are fresh and nice however please ask for the size before you order as some of them are huge... not to miss their refreshing complimentary chaas they serve in those small fancy bottle. You would simply want more... :)
Food is just wow and awesome no words to describe food out here. Have lovely ground sitting area basically to give a feeling of home and even have dinning to sit. FOOD is just lit here perfect combo of International spices and Indian tadka.
As the name says "Firangi Madras", this place is famous for its innovative dosa's. You can have some really good dosa's without burning a hole in your pocket.
Such amazing food these guys serve. I was blown away by the cheesy Maggie dosa and even the rawa dosa. These are my staples when it comes to ordering food from this joint.
The place is near and clean, service is moderately good.
Will continue being a regular customer.
Nice and different kinds of south indian dishes available. Enjoyed it a lot. The idly peri peri fry was yummy. Something hatke. Dosa was also great.

I really cant stop raving about this restaurant. Not only do they get their food right, they have an ambience that will make your meal quite an experience. From sensational dosas, uttapam, idli, shakes and much more on offer, Firangi Madras serves you flavours from Madras that will be embedded in your memory.
I love this place
This is my go to place for everything.
The decor is very simple and staffs are very fast.
But the food that they serve is out of the world.
I tried quite a lot of items.
Pizza dosa
Uttapam burger
Pasta
French fries.
Loved everything.
Though a little difficult to locate, but the menu is good. Lives upto the name, it offers a firangi touch to the regular south indian menu. Try it for the difference
I had a cheese burst dosa great in taste plus bestest in town but disappointed with pizza dosa not worth of money and taste was bad......but their was great

I was there yesterday with some of my friends celebrated a small party. A nice must visit for all South Indian lover's and even if you are not one should go once at least the numerous varieties of dosa they served is just wow 😍. It is located in North part of the city , at a place one can easily reach out to. They have seating capacity of around 70. Taste and quantity both are good well served. We ordered tandoori idli, spring rolls, pasta both red and white sauce, Cheese burst Maggi Dosa, Plain Butter Rava Dosa and last but not least the ultimate one was Chocolava Dosa. All of us just loved it a lot, it is served with vanilla ice cream. Cheese Burst Maggi Dosa has a sufficient stuffing in it so yummy in taste. Also regarding seating arrangement other than usual table chairs they have got fully seating bed types where one can remove their footwear's and enjoy their food😍😍.
if you are a south indian food lover then this is the ri8 place for you. it is pocket friendly and their fusion food is too good...surely visiting this place again..
If you are a south indian lover, than you should definitely visit this place. This place is serving some of the best combinations of food. Their cheese burst maggie dosa, being the best among all. The other dosas and idlis were also really good. Surely visiting this place again.
I have tried a variety of items here but my all time favourite is mixed sauce pasta they serve. Whenever I crave for some cheesy and cream pastas the first name that comes to my mind is Firangi Madras.
This place be my favourite everything of this restaurant is just amazing from interior to food.. it is quite reasonable and the quality of food is too good.. you all should try cheese burst pizza which is the best. The staffs over here are very friendly and polite. I really love this restaurant
Awesome experience...

If you're a south-Indian food lover then this placr is your destination. Their twists on south Indian dishes are just amazing. I have tried their cheeseburst dosa and Peri Peri idly fries. Both were amazing and fulfilling. Their service is also quite good. And also they give this complimentary chaas😍
What an amazing place it is..
MUST TRY— pizza dosa and cheese burst ❤️❤️
A decent place for family visit with mouth licking food 🥘 and awesome interiors with low seating facility .
This place doesn’t fail to surprise me on every visit..every dish on the menu is worth a try from the basic soft and soulful idli to the scrumptious cheese burst dosa which generous amount of cheese oozing out. Have tried almost every item on their list and have loved all that they serve. Few personal favourites would be the peri peri dosa, the cheese burst dosa, the oriental idli satay, their simple idli, the idli tikka and the choco lava dosa. It’s delightful to see how the basic idli dosa and uttapam can be served with such modern twist which is indeed delicious. Not fond of fusion food but this one is exceptional. This place will never disappoint. A total Thumbs up!!
I heard so much about this place that i had to visit it..so i went and its was a total "paisa wasool" experience.. great dosa with a must try firangi twist to the south indian cuisine.
Food 5/5

Peri peri fries idli are good but not great but ya you can give it a try
A sudden craving for some dosa which I've not had for quite some time led me to this eatery offering fusion food in South Indian cuisine.
Came across it through a random search of home delivery restaurants while scrolling across Zomato.
Ordered the MASALA DOSA for a beginner (just to be cautious regarding the taste, since many deliveries do not live up to one's expectations), having been more or less satisfied with the food rating and positive reviews.
The dosa was fresh, tasteful, soft and not crisp like paper dosas (which I do not much prefer; thankfully they have a separate list of paper dosas) of which I'd been sceptical.
The sambhar along with the coconut and onion chutneys were amazingly good and so very, very tasty! 😋
The "masala" or spiced potato filling was provided in a separate container to be had with the dosa, a notable gesture since one can also enjoy it plain, as in most cases the dosa itself is stuffed with the filling which normally happens to be the preparation of a typical Indian masala dosa.
The overall dish was an appreciable wholesome affair. For people like me one single dosa of theirs is enough to satiate a hungry stomach.
Those who are fond of South Indian food like me should definitely check out this place, be it home delivery or visting it in person.
Recommended. :)

Just one word: LIP SMACKING.
I tried the cheese Burst Maggi Dosa, onion uttapam and masala uttapam. Each of the items were on point. The ambience is pretty good. Well behaved staff.
We were served chaach as the welcome drink the day we went. It was their first anniversary that day. They also offered 10% off on the entire menu.
This place is something worth your money.
Went to this place few days ago with my friends. I must say this place serves some of the best south indian fusion dishes. We ordered cheese burst maggi dosa which was my favourite among all. Than we also ordered achari idli poppers, oriental idli satay and peri peri paneer dosa. All the dishes had such tasty flavours. Their lasagne is one of the best in town. For beverages we had cold coffee, death by chocolate and filter coffee. At last, their Shaahi idli tukda took away our heart. One of the best places to visit in town. Will surely visit once again.
I visited this restaurant a few days back and loved it. As the name suggests this restaurant is into fusion food or rather Fusion south Indian food. It is a pure Vegetarian restaurant.
They provided complimentary Butter Milk shots to us when reached there. after looking at the menu it was clear they have a huge verity of options and the restaurant is Pocket-friendly.
We started with Tandoori Idli - it looks beautiful and tastes amazing. Post this we tried Oriental Idli Satay. They were too good by the looks you will get a feel of a nice American or Mexican kind of dish but when you taste it, it would taste like Idli which is nice.
Another surprise package is their Aachari Idli Poppers nice crispy Idli with a tangy picklish taste. As the name suggests it does taste like aachars.
Some of the other Interesting dishes we tries were the Peri Peri Dosa, delicious lasagne, filter coffee and Oreo shake.
for me, the two best dishes at this cozy restaurant would be the Cheese burst Maggie Dosa and Shahi Idli Tukda.
the cheese busts Maggie dosa had everything I love..... Taste of Dosa, Maggie and loads of Cheese I loved it.
the Shahi Idli tukda is another innovation by them. Ice-Cream on top of fried crispy and sweet idli makes if divine.
its a must visit place and I am going there again soon.
They have a fusion concept and it is visible in every aspect of the restaurant, the Decor, the food, and the ambiance everything.
Today, I was there with my friends at this place. I'm a pure non veg at heart but this place has exceeded my expectations. The food was very tasty.
I would just like to mention the Cheese Maggi Dosa. That is the best item, that you would find there. I absolutely loved it.
The other item I enjoyed was the Peri Peri Cheese Dosa. Some of the other items worth mentioning are:
Oriental Idli Satay
Tomato D' Heaven
Shahi Idli Tukda
Cold Coffee with Ice Cream
Filter Coffee
They even serve buttermilk as a complimentary drink to every customer.
I would highly recommend you to try this place out!
If you like vegetarian food, this place is a must visit. Even if you don't love vegetarian food, you should visit once for sure!! The restaurant has a nice and comfy ambience, great place to hangout with friends and family. We were welcomed with complimentary drinks (ButterMilk).
What we ordered:
1. Tandoori Idli - With the look of it, you will think it's paneer, but it's idli. The idli was nice and soft, and had a great tandoor flavour.
2. Cheese Burst Maggi Dosa - My favourite dish of the day! I never thought of putting maggi in a dosa. It may sound weird but the combination is bomb. The cheese is a cherry on top!
3. Oriental Idli Satay - This is special item of this restro, you wont find it anywhere else!!
4. Achari Idli Poppers
5. Peri Peri Paneer Dosa
6. Shaahi Paneer Tudka - Another favorite dish of the day!! Instead of bread they use idli which is fried and topped with kesar (i think) icecream! This dish is a must try!
Beverages: Death by Chocolate, Cold Coffee
Ambience: (3.5/5)
Food : (5/5)

e...even chutney was tasty...even the delivery man took around 20 minutes to deliver my order, still I felt the taste of ordered dish intact...Now, m just waiting for the next weekend when I can visit this place and can try other exciting dishes without wasting 20 minutes... 😊
This place is an absolute hidden gem!! Located in a gali in Bangur Avenue, Firangi Madras serves you the best South India cuisine with a twist and that too by being extremely easy on your pocket! Must try- Cheese Burst Dosa, Peri Peri Idli Fries, Plain Masala Dosa, Medu Vada, Idli. They serve you spiced buttermilk as a complimentary welcome drink. The staff is too friendly. I am a regular at this place.
They provide South Indian dishes with a twist... We ordered pizza dosa and uttapam burger...both the dishes are great.. the quantity and quality is both appreciable.. uttapam burger comes with fried and mayo sauce and is highly recommended...plus they provide complementary chaach...
delivery was on time. Thank you
If you are willing to eat South Indian food, just go to this place and have it. They serve very scrumptious food. They make the best fusions out of food. They have chocolate dosa, cheese burst dosa , pizza dosa, pizza crackers, jini dosa . But I don't like their Pasta.
Food was tasty, fries were crispy, dosa was cheesy. Exactly according to its name. Service was excellent. Ambience was good.cheesemelts in my mouth. Fries has nyc peri masala taste.
Awesome place to hang out with Ur family
Everything was perfect...I just loved that welcome drink... ambience was also too good
Awesome awesome seriously
|| Tandoori Idli at Firangi Madras || Idli cubes marinated in Tandoori spices! Surprised? Well you've only got to taste it. Bet you'll wow.
Idli, to me, always comes across as the non-spicy, kinda bland dish(don't say this to the Idli lover XD). However, this take on Idli turned out to be an opinion-changer. Idlis are good. Trust me.
Priced at 120, they are sure to please your tongue with that extra soft texture and the right amount of spices. Do not forget to dip the cubes in that green sauce right at the side. The coriander-mint combo is lip-smacking.
|| Pav Bhaji Dosa at Firangi Madras || 'Madrasi Dosa spiced with Mumbaiyan Bhaji' as they've captioned it, fits perfectly as the dosa is filled with a spicy bhaji or curry as you can call it that accompanies the famous Pav of Pav Bhaji, a delectable dish from the lanes of Mumbai.
Priced at 130, you can enjoy this intriguing preparation of a blend of culture and flavours. Who could've thought that Madras and Mumbai would work wonders when put together on a plate!
To the Bhaji lovers, not only is the dosa packed with the same but you also get ample of extra Bhaji on the side. Accompanied by the Madras touch of chutney, this dish is sure to leave your tummy full leaving your heart craving for more!! Firangi Madras is located at a 5 minutes walking distance from Bangur(VIP) bus stop. In doubt, you can always ask Google!
Lets find out how this place with their hatke take on south indian food fared.
The interior is well decorated with chairs on one side and comfortable floor seating on other.
Food: This is where the place really excels. We had gone for tandoori idli and cheese burst dosa. The tandoori idli was pretty amazing with totally deceptive looks. Had green chutney to the side which had the right amount of zing to it with perfect balance of lime and heat. The cheese burst dosa was also tasty which had gooey cheese oozing from the top. But the masala made the dosa crust soft.. The masala soda also hit the right balance. They also offered complimentary spiced butter milk.
Overall: A really well curated menu makes this a top contender in an ever growing food joints of bangur lane.
A place with a difference it truly lives up to "firangai" we celebrated my mum's birthday here food is on the mark they have some unique food to offer from cheese bust dosa to complimentary butter milk some basics pasta n garlic Bread were apt in taste a humble setting basic interior good service. we waited a bit more then usual time for our food but the wait is worthy. 100% recommend if u wanna try something new n different.

This is my first vegetarian restaurant which I voluntarily chose to go and I don't regret it at all.
The food was really good and was upto my expectations.
We had the peri peri paneer dosa, cutting chai, uttapam burger and exotic cheese garlic bread.
Everything was upto the mark and so point with the taste. The ambiance is pretty pleasant and quirky. Has a very youthful vibe to it. Highly recommend you to visit if like to try fusion food.
I would say that it is the best restaurant for the South Indian fusion dishes. They have utpam burger , pizza dosa , pizza crackers ,pasta , pav bhaji dosa , chocolate dosa , jini dosa
The "must try" items are--
1)death by chocolate
2)pizza dosa
3)Peri Peri fries
4)pav bhaji dosa
Firangi Madras was on my wish list since a long time and finally I made it this time. Not once but twice. Such is the place that once you are done having their yummylicious food, you can't stop thinking of being back there again. Because you want to try every item on their menu.
Firstly, the ambience and service is good and prompt.
The Peri Peri french fries were just too good. The paw bhaji dosa was again something which you can't miss. The cheese garlic bread was good too.
The cold coffee had the perfect taste.
The pizza dosa is unmissable. It's a must try. The cheesy Maggi dosa was just ok. The chilly idli was a bit hard but taste wise it was good.
I would definitely recommend this place and am sure that the food will definitely bring you back.
Had to wait for 20 min even on weekdays, went inside, interior was boring, service was quick, we ordered peri peri fried idli - was very good, pizza dosa - was too good for this place, onion tomato masala dosa - was heavy and tasty, cheez burst pizza was okayish, chinese dosa went down smoothly, rawa onion dosa and rawa onion dhaniya cheese dosa was the hungerstopper..
All that we ordered was nicely presented and tasted even better. Many dishes left untried.
Recommended!
Peace.
Barely a 2 minute walk from Bangur Avenue leads you to this gem.

Pizza Dosa is a must-try! Death by Chocolate is kinda ordinary.

As the name suggest "Firangi Madras", expect your food to be a fusion south Indian dish, the innovation with the food is actually the best one in the town, love their way of treating their every guest with cold butter milk served in the tiny bottle complimentary, the seating arrangement is both table-chair as well as traditional floor seating type. the food is AWESOME!! guys you should definitely visit this place if you are a die heart fan of South Indian Cuisine, they have their own twist in the menu and each of that would definitely surprise you, the location is not very favourable as most of the people doesn't even know this place, I too got recommended by my friend to visit the place as I love South Indian and to my surprise the place had a different South Indian, the combination of each item was mouth watering, visited the place many time post my first visit and every time tried different item from their menu, do try their Pizza Dosa...
The concept is too good. The ambiance reflects fusion and food off course is too good. Some of the dishes here are mimd blowing. I would suggest this place as a must visit place for everyone and the best part about this place is that it is economical. Not very expensive. 👍👍👍👍😊😊😊😊
The name of the place is itself suggestive of the 'firangi touch' that it provides to the food from the land of Madras. Innovation backed by creativity is their basic fundamental. The simple assortment of South Indian dishes; and the mingling of Italian with South Indian cuisine culminating into the special firangi menu - is what makes 'Firangi Madras' so special.
The cheese burst maggie dosa, cheese pull apart garlic vada, death by chocolate are some of the recommendations for the place.
wanna try Pizza dosa !?????😍 Firstly as a welcome drink - chaach is given . South indian with a bit of twist and experiment😘🥰😚 they have variety of dosas and idli available! Pizza dosa is their best items , apart from that they have maggi cheese dosa which is a 5/5 and loaded fries was also delicious if you like salsa sauce baked with cheese😎🥳 they have dastarkha type sitting arrangement which is a wow wow kind of thing. If you are going with family it is the best place i believe 😎 with comfort food available which is lip smacking!!! They have cute little smiley emoji cushion 😎😝😛🤪🤩🤩🤩 the price might be more as compared to local shops ! But given that it is a beautiful place to spend time😍😬🤤 overall my rating for ambience and food will be 4.5/ 5. Good. A fine example of a specific kind of restaurant. It can be delicious food with excellent staff service. You may think about coming again if you wish to taste a particular kind of cuisine.
Firangi Madras is an innovative South Indian restaurant that prepares some unique dishes, which you typically won't find in any other restaurant. The Red Sauce Pasta that I tried out, tasted delicious, with ample quantity for a single person. They are following the online procedure (Whatsapp) for sharing the menu and your bill, following the Covid-19 pandemic, which is really commendable. Recommended. 👍🏻
|| Tandoori Idli at Firangi Madras ||
Idli cubes marinated in Tandoori spices!
Awesome South Indian food with firangi twist in it, was very sceptical to try it but to my surprise, I really loved it.
The staffs are very polite and approachable too. Therefore a very good place to hangout with friends.
I had cheese dosa and it was awesome for my taste buds. The food taste and quality was top notch.the only thing I dislike was that took a very long time in delivering the cheese dosa. One thing that I would surely like to mention is an average person won't be able to finish one cheese dosa all alone as it becomes quite heavy when you have the first and the second part itself. The ambience is quite good and nothing to complain about.
Delicious foods. They got variety of dosa and other south Indian dishes. Starting from Cheese dosa to veg Augratin. They have it all and I loved it. Price is reasonable. Once again you will fall in love with south indian food. Its available online in zomato and swiggy, also in uber eats.
"Your bum is rounder than my mum's idli". The place is nice. Food is delicious. I had Maggie cheese burst dosa and onion uttpam. Both were delicious in taste. Located at bangur Avenue. Just beside peppers. They give welcome drink. I don't know whether they give it on regular basis or not. During special occasion they provide. Sitting capacity of around 30-40 people. Pocket friendly.
Food is yummy, worth the price. Good service provided. Thank you for satisfying our taste buds.
