The best hangout place for Chinese food and the best is jhol momo which was suggested to us. It is a northeastern delicacy and it was lovely. They are following the proper sanitation process and maintaining the hygiene levels as well.

The pork momo with corn soup is a big hit. The momos are next level. The filling is extremely delicious and well made. The dumplings of this place is by far one of the best in town.
I also ordered mixed glass noodles which had egg ,prawn and pork. I loved every bite of it. The pork was just amazing. To accompany this I had the spicy chilli chicken . Loved the hint of spices and the sweetness of the sauce. Great balance of flavours.

It's been long since I have ordered something for us, during this lockdown. So, nothing much to speak about the platter, which was almost flawless. The thing I liked about here most is that there are a lot of variety here in the menu. The only thing I disliked is the prawn quality which was used in the making of mixed fried rice.

I love the ambiance of the restaurant but bit cozy and as they have lots of order so you might have to wait.
But trust me that momo was awesome and very much pocket friendly.

The experience of having food from here went quite well as I was trying first time in ordering food without going through the reviews .
Coming to the food , well I tried egg Hong Kong and egg Korean fried rice along with kung pao and black bean chicken !
It was first time in tasting these Chinese course.
Egg Hong Kong fried rice was full of fennel seeds in taste that struck me awkwardly and the Korean one was with coriander and cucumber which was good. Chicken black bean as usual will be bitter so it had that and kung pao was a bitter sweet combination with one or two cashews which should have been filled fully but was not.

This a verysmall restaurant. It has very few sitting arrangements. I liked the ambience of the place.
Coming to the food, they serves very good food. They also serves duck & pork. I specifically love their pork Momo's. It was so much juicy inside. You will be able to feel the juice coming out in your mouth, once you place it. They also serves Chicken kothay. Which is basically a momo which is prepared on a pan and it's one side becomes crispy and another side remains soft. So, it was nice evening spent with food. This place is absolute love. The people were very courteous and friendly. The food was a delight. Starting from momos to the shyapta, each were jam-packed with flavour. It was just beautiful. The decors and the outer sitting arrangements too was a great add-on.

Nepali and Tibetan lovers, this is your ultimate destination. You'll feel the taste of hills sitting in the heart of kolkata. Perfect Darjeeling style momos, stuffed with ample minced pork pieces and fat, no fancy added ingredients to make the momos less Tibetan. I would have hated it if it has lost the originality.
The hot smoky wanton soup reminds me of ice-cold morning breeze of Darjeeling & Sikkim in cold December.
Fried momos are juicy and bigger in size. Hot thukpa was served in a huge Bowl. I love every dish to be honest.
They have cozy balcony outdoor seating area at first floor which will give you an wonderful sunset view. They serve special cranberry breezer ( they claim it to be beer for god's sake it is not) with 0% alcohol. It tastes more like ordinary cranberry juice which unexpectedly goes well with a plate of pan fried momo as a meal.
Cheap, beautifully decorated cozy place, young crowd and good food - sums up a perfect weekend evening.
Though everything's a plus, the service is very very slow. There is only one people to take order, manage swiggy and Zomato orders, serve orders to every table and do other needful tasks. Scarcity of people should not affect the service.
Will definitely visit again in some other weekend to quench Tibetan carvings.

Made almost like Dimsums, and filled with minced pork with gently cooked veggies and shredded cheese which fused in our mouth, and served with the spiciest sauce I've ever tasted, it actually felt like enduring the whole experience sitting in the laps of middle east Asia.

Went to this place for a date...ordered fried chicken momo, drumsticks and chicken friedrice.. the taste was really good.. except the chicken in the drumsticks felt a bit undercooked. The quantity is quite less compared to the other food joints in this category. The overall experience was good.. (P. S. They have zero alcohol beers..!!)

In the year of 1950, Republic of China occupied Tibet. Many Tibetans then migrated to India, Nepal and Bhutan. Mainly in hilly areas. At that time, the influence of Tibetan culture spread in several regions of India. This effect comes across beautifully on the food plate. 2 Tibetan food became very popular. Especially those, who loveΒ toΒ travel to the mountains, haveΒ testedΒ it once. One is Thukpa and the other is Sha Phalay or Shafale. Thukpa can be eaten for lunch or dinner. But you should eat shafale for breakfast or evening snacks. Shafale is made by deep frying chicken and onion filling in a dough. It looks like a crescent moon. Many of you know Thukpa. Noodles in soup with vegetables and chicken pieces. Veg thukpa is also available.
These items are available in many places in Kolkata itself. However, a restaurant called "The Darjeeling" in Salt Lake Square offers many more Tibetan dishes apart from these two delicacies. This place is an absolute love. Though itβs not spacious but you will get some heavenly delicious food up here. We had ordered pork kothay and chicken phalay. We loved both the dishes. The staff here is so humble and well behaved. And there is absolutely nothing you can complain about the food served. They were just heaven in the mouth. Would definitely recommend this place.

Little cozy kind of atmosphere with a kind of small rooftop or open air seating arrangement is there, which I liked most. Restaurant owner is so much humble, I decided to order double fried pork but he said us to order Roasted Chilli Pork.
We ordered Roasted Chilli Pork, Drums of Heaven, Darjeeling Spicy Fish and Mixed (also there is option of without pork) Meifoon.
I definitely recommend The Darjeeling due to taste and atmosphere, but one think I should tell, probably the main course item like rice or noodles are not sufficient to share for two peoples.
Otherwise it's a absolute great experience

The seating arrangement outdoor was fabulous. I would suggest to try the momo range they have. Service could have been a bit faster but its not a major concern. Three cheers for the cuisine. I would definitely make it a point to visit again whenever I am in Kolkata.

Very sweet and cozy place...especially the sitting arrangement in the balcony..steam chicken momos are quite tasty...I have tasted some of their other food items as well. I found it all ok. Staff behaviour is also good.
