Every single dish in the non veg thali was outstanding!
If u want good bengali food u can try this place... one of the best place for bengali cuisine.. love the basanti pulao nd chingri malaikari... mutton platter is really good and sufficient for two people.. best place to have bhuri bhoj in any occasion
The place was so good and i really liked the dab chinkri and they have such an elaborate menu
Over all a great experience
They sanitized the whole set up infornt of us which is plus point
Some mouth watering Bengali food at a very reasonable rate. I ordered:
Bhetki paturi: The bhetki fish fillet was steamed in banana leaves with mustard paste. The price vs portion for this dish is very satisfactory. The mustard paste was really very spicy & pungent.
Pur vora begun bhaja: This was the showstopper. Circular cut of egg plants stuffed with some masala & then fried until perfection. This dish is highly recommended for everyone.
Ilish shorshe: A huge cut of hilsa cooked in a tangy musturd gravy. The way of cooking is different from how we normally cook at home. They first fry the fish, then add into the gravy. Overall it tastes good.
Chitol macher muitha: Now this dish was a disappointment. The fish balls are quite hard & it hadn't soaked the flavors of the gravy.
Overall an average experience. Might order again soon

If you are a Bengali and you have not visited this place yet then don't think twice just go there and exprience their awesome bengali cuisine. All the items are lip smacking 🥰😍
The place itself had a Bengali Amej.
The cuisines were authentic and were perfectly flavoured.
The kancha lonka chicken was really good provided with the mutton kosha and basanti pulao❤️❤️❤️
Another great joint serving amazing Bengali food. Love the kosha mangsho, bhetki paturi, gondhoraj chicken. Highly recommended.
Bhetki paturi was awesome. Perfect taste. The thali tasted well though the amounts of dal and shukto were really less. The alu bhaja tasted bland though.
Before Lockdown, I went koshe Kosha with my family to have our favorite bengali Cuisine. As always my and my family's choice. As usual I really liked their food tastes and hospitality. Most of the time they are maintaining all the hygiene and always foods are really give a satisfying taste. Gondhoraj Chicken is my favorite and macher matha Dal. And Bhetki Paturi are just outstanding. Will visit again very soon after getting normal the situation.
One of my favorite dine out places for bengali cuisine. We ordered Rice, Sona Muger Dal, Aloo bhaja, Bhetki Paturi and Gondhoraj Murgi. The food tasted amazing. Didn't utter a single word while I was devouring the dishes. It felt really satisfying after a long time having bengali food outside home. The staff were very nice and friendly. Overall its a good place have a nice bengali lunch or dinner.
All item is too good. Good behavior also. I love it. Please go and try
Awesome . Exactly what I would expect from koshe kosha . Good food, good price, good service, clean, and well staffed .
Taste of food was awesome. Quantity also great bt the quantity of rice and pulao should be given more. Pocket friendly. Nice ambience and decore. Cozy place. Moreover i liked the place and food too😊😊😊
I frequently order the kosha mangsho and basanti pulao from here. I really love this combo, its a bang for the buck and quite filling too. The chicken gravy is just to die for!
Ambience isn't that great, seating area is for about 12 people, but honestly, the food were some of the bests I've ever eaten
We tried:
Steamed rice.
Fresh lime soda 5
Aloo posto 5
Dhakai mutton - the best ever 5.
Musur dal
They also served free pakodas and papads.
Recommended.
Everything was cooked to perfection
The total bill was about 750 INR.
MUST VISIT.
Koshe Kasha is my absolute favorite when it comes to bengali cuisine . I went there with my boyfriend and i had a awesome experience . The ambience was good , food quality was nice .
'Koshe Kosha' is my absolute favorite when it comes to Bengali cuisine. This outlet is located in Chinar Park. We went here a few months back. We ordered :-
🔴Gandhoraj ghol(5/5)- This drink was extremely delicious and soothing.
🔴Rice.
🔴Dhakai Mutton (5/5)-The taste, the balance of the spices was on point.
We will definitely visit again.
Had dinner with my friend . Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of us. The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We specially enjoyed the food and the presentation. Please give our thanks to the manager and others for wonderful service. Highly recommended. Thank you.
There was no rabri, nuts and raisins in the malpua as mentioned in the menu. Restaurant should compensate as full money was charged for malpua sandwich.
The food test's great. Quantity was also good. The thing which I like the most that is the ambience & the way they welcome their customers. They served a plate of papad & a welcome drinks from their side while the food comes. I ordered a mutton thali. The items served with the thali was good in taste & quantity, which is sufficient for two. Only we had to order a half plate of rice separately which is justifiable as we shared the thali.( because the thali is for one person & the proportion of rice & pulao is sufficient for one. ) One thing that I feel personally that they should look after the mutton pieces. Other than that it was a wonderful experience. The staff's behavior is also good & helpfull.
Everything is good only quantity is less according to price
The best thing is mocha chingri, pulao, mutton kosha😄
Hi
I stay in Behala and had a chance to eat Mutton Biryani in BIRYANI KOLKATA which is from the House of Koshe Kosha. Let me tell you that this was the BEST Biryani I have ever had in my life. I had tasted Biryani in Lucknow, Hyderabad and other places but Biryani Kolkata seem to have outsmarted all the outlets. Guys please try this Biryani!! The quantity is huge and the preparation is very good and not heavy on the guts. The price was also reasonable. Along with this I took their Chicken chaap which was also fabulous.
Thanks Biryani Kolkata for bringing out something worthwhile.
I first Tim koshe kosha restaurant visit. restaurant presentation so was good, small place but outstanding please, first visit complimentary (badminton papar 😋) dim chingriy devil taste was good, but "non veg thali " items so good test is very good, sarvis boys friendly bihebiyar. Everything ........
Good food and good service
Situated on Near Kuchina Building, Chinar Park. The place is quite neat and clean. Best bengali food in college street served at reasonable price. The food is servedvery well with mouth watering dishes. Try here Bhetki Paturi, Kosha Mangsho, Mutton Kosha, Fish and Basanti Pulao. The service was fast and staffs were friendly.
Pretty much clear that it is a family restaurant with authentic bengali foods..
I visited this place with my friends on their anniversary week..they had this special anniversary menu so it didn't cost us much to have the dishes as follows:
1)mutton kosha(tastes good)
2) pulao(another good one)
3)bhetki paturi(i m not much of a paturi person but i like that)

Yesterday we were here to try some authentic Bengali foods . This restaurant is very near to Chinar park just opposite of momo I am ..
We were for our lunch .. but lunch was late .. we had bhetki paturi 2 piece, dhakai mutton kosha and plain rice .. Truly quantity and quality of the food good .. we mostly love the dhakai mangso .. Rice can be better ..
Service was good and behaviour of the staffs are really good . Ambience is good has some little touch of Kolkata and bangaliana..
But can be clear more otherwise good experience 👍✨
Food is very nice. If u go for the thalis then u will take 1 thali for 2 people. They serves enough quantity of food. Basanti polau is so tasty, also fish mutton is delicious. Please must visit this place.

Food here was amazing and the staff members too were really good. This made my experience a very good one. Indeed a good place if you are bored with Chinese and Mughal restaurants. Do give it a try. But one thing that bugged me is that the restaurant it too small. It can barely accomodate 18 people inside and 12 people outside.
I have ordered bhetki paturi it was first time order online any fish item it was really delicious service was too good after having paturi my mind get because of it was awesome in onr words
Nice place with good food👍
I'm from Bangalore and a huge fan of Koshe Kosha there. Was expecting the same standard of food but ended up in disaster. The dal is worst then the dal available on local street shop. Water was all over then the dal was at the bottom nothing else. It's like on hot water someone has soaked some pulses. Next is chicken, it was also flooded with water , test like left over from yesterday and someone added water and put it on microwave. Totally disappointed. Hope the management takes proper care of the quality. Don't ruin the brand name. Special thanks to Mr. Behera for following up on my review. He immediately visited my place and delivered the food again. Thanks to the management for paying attention to customer reviews. Keep up the good work.
We were 8 persons and they arranged the tables to fit us well provided having small space. Good behaviour by the waiters and Manager. Food quality and amount was good, specially Chhanar Dalna and Kosha Mangsho.
Superb experience....The food was really good & the price was reasonable.Ordered Bhetki Fry,Katla Kalia,Mutton Kasha,Dal,Rice,Roti,Jhurjhure Aloo Bhaja,Fulkopi Aloor Torkari
The place is really small and placed opposite of momo i am. Food taste is really good. Highly recommend this place for bengali cuisine. We had aam porar sorbot, plain rice, dal, aloo bhaja, dhokar dalna, mutton kosha, kacha lanka murgi, bhetki paturi and chitol peti.
This sweet and fragrant pulao from koshe kosha is a highly recommended dish from our side along with their famous Kosha Mangsho. The sweetness of the pulao is great and is not like those typical unbearable sweet pulao. As we all know that pulao and kosha mangsho is the best combo, having one spoon of the pulao with mangsho was so delicious and treat to the tastes buds ❤.
Kosha Mangsho from cooked in a spicy bengali styled gravy just tastes divine. Try this with their basanti pulao for the perfect lunch combo and you will surely drool.
Authentic bengali food yet pocket friendly... must try their kosha mangsho n fish curry... all the dishes were good but these two were my favourite😋😋😋
Was happy to note that Koshe kosha was in the vicinity of my hotel. A small outlet with limited seating, it hardly had a handful of patrons on Monday afternoon. I ordered the non veg thali which had good variety. The service boys should be consulted if one is not a bong for they give valuable tips on what goes with what. However I didn't require for mine was a set meal. The jhuri alu bhaja, shukto, macher kalia , chatni, polao and dal were awesome but the mutton curry and chanar dalna could have been better. I have visited Koshe kosha in Kormangla Bangalore but that is much better in taste and quality.
I just had my lunch after a tiring puja shopping schedule. The restaurant just satisfied my hunger pangs post shopping. I kinda liked the decor. Though the place is small but it is well organised. The ambiance was great. Staffs were polite and courteous.
We were served with papads while we were selecting the menu. I liked the gesture. Above all the preparations were great and I loved the food.
On our plates -
🍽️ Basanti Pulao
🍽️ Mochar Paturi
🍽️ Chanar Dalna
🍽️ Daab Chingri
🍽️ Rosun bhapa bhetki (star of the show, the aachari flavour was just lip smacking)
🍽️ Nolen gurer ice-cream
Visited this place on Janmashtami few days back. The chinar park outlet is tiny. Not many people can seat here. Tables are very small too. We had to adjust a little. But the decorations are very beautiful. Enjoyed the overall ambience. We ordered Gondhoraj Ghol, Basanti Pulao, Steamed Rice, Sorshe Elish, Kosha Mangsho, Anarasher Chatni and Malpoa Sandwich. They served fulkopir bora as a complementary dish. The service was swift and excellent. Gondhoraj ghol was too good in taste. Apart from that the Pulao, Elish and Vetki items were also excellent. Kosha Mangsho here is one of the best you will find in Kolkata. But the Anarasher Chatni felt like Papaya Chatni. Malpoa Sandwich is something you should definitely try if you visit here. All over great experience for anyone who appreciates traditional bangali food.
Good food.. verry good quality well cooked
I tried the basanti pulao and paturi for the first time and the food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. The waiters were attentive and service overall was good. The restaurant looked to have been recently decorated. Overall a good meal and great value we will certainly be going back.
This restaurant is superb. I like this restaurant nd ambience also too good.. The food quality nd quantity both are excellent and their combos specially 'non-veg thali' attract me the most😋😋
Boasts of being one of the best Bengali Restaurants of the town with outlets all across the city. Definitely has grabbed a lot of attention and deserves all of it. The Basanti Pulao and Kosha Mangsho Combo is definitely one of the best items of the menu.
One the best places for authentic Bengali food. Ambience is a little on the downside though, but the food was great. Loved the chicken, mutton & prawn preparations.
If you are looking for bengali food then Koshe Kosha is no doubt one of the best resturant. This eatery is located in chinar park just opposite to Momo I am.place is quite small in terms of capacity with around 15-20 seating arrangment. It is that good a place to serve your crave for bengali food.Their staffs are polite and courteous but service quite slow.
First we were served with complimentary papads. Then we ordered
Tetuler sorbot 75/- so refreshing taste is good 4/5
Vetki chingrir melbondho 255/- bit costly but just awesome..must try this 5/5
Mutton Thali 495/- (Rice,begun bhaja,alu bhaja,ucche bhaja,mug dal,sukto,mocha,macher kalia,pulao,mutton 2 piece,chatni,papad,misti.) Each and every dish was mouthwatering but mutton I think It could have been better. 4.5/5
Luchi 65/- 4 pieces of "pulko luchi ak kothay Darun"
Overall We had a great meal and enjoy our lunch..So I recommended to please visit and try their authentic menu..👌👌👍
Koshe Kosha is a bengali restaurant which is famous for their authentic Bengali food... Their each and every item are traditionally prepared & served by their beautifully designed environment... Their staffs are so polite in nature...
But their services were quite slow and all of the food item in the menu was not available...
Taste was too good and specially the vetki paturi...

Food is awesome typical Bengali restaurant with fabulous Bengali food, wanna visit again and again, foodies are most welcome, try this once at least
They serve very good food. Mutton kasha and basanti polao are my favourite. But I feel prices are higher as compared to the quantity of food they serve. Otherwise it is a very good place for Bengali food lovers.
Extreme good quality of food. Especially the daab chingri is at its peak ❤. Even the quantity is good enough. The hurohuri combo has the perfect quantity for a neat meal (1 adult)
I cece time order for koshe kosha restaurants chinarpark .two pellet kosha mangsho. kosha mangano so tasty. but price is high. Everything's is goods.
I just love D Kosha mangsho here. So good in taste!! All their dishes r so delicious... Just like home cooked food! Please try kosha mangsho and gondhoraj murgi here! Over all perfect place with superb food.
I visit koshe kosha restaurant excellent food and please. Bhetki paturi so testi and Rice quantity good. service was good . I suggest my friends Bengali food koshe kosha try.....

Overall Experience (4/5): Koshe Kosha is very good at serving the delightful taste of Bengali delicacies at a very affordable budget. When it comes to Bengali Cuisine, the two words "KOSHE" and "KOSHA" plays very meaningful roles. These two words can make any Bengali start dreaming about the mouthwatering flavors of Bengali food. This restaurant is highly recommended from my side if you want to taste the Bengali Cuisine at its best.
I visited this place on one Sunday afternoon with a group of six people. And here is my experience in details.
Ambiance (3/5): I have not so much to say about the ambiance, as the place is not so large. But they have tried there best to decorate and arrange the place well.
They have sitting arrangments inside and outside of the restaurant. At the outside, you will obviously not get A.C but there is the arrangement of stand fans. If one has so much hurry then he/she can go for the outside table, otherwise inside is more comfortable.
The ambiance is based on the Bengali traditional household of a high lineage. There are some books of Patra Bharati Publications. On the wall, they have a framed painting of Kolkata which looks very beautiful.
Food (5/5): We ordered Basanti Polau, Dhakai Mangsho, and Kosha Mangsho.
After we placed our order, they first gave us a plate full of Papad and it was complimentary.
I have tasted so many types of mutton recipes earlier, but the Dhakai Mangsho has to be the best in taste. The exotic flavors of spices made the dish better than any other Mutton dishes I have ever tasted. The Kosha Mangsho was also good, with a spicy Bengali style dark gravy but again Dhakai mangsho had already won our hearts. Though when we wanted to repeat our order, unfortunately, the Dhakai Mangsho dish gone out of the stalk. Basanti Polau was also tasted very well.
Service (4/5): Though we made our bookings in advance over a phone call, still we had to wait for some 30 mins approx as it was a Sunday and the place was already very crowdy. That's why I really don't blame the restaurant staffs because the place was already full and they had no way to allot a table for us.
The staffs were very well behaved and polite to us. As soon as we placed our order, they served the food without making us wait for a long time.
Pro Tip: Don't miss there Dhakai Mangsho dish. If you ask me, it is the must-have dish of Koshe-Kosha.
"Ei jaygar kosha mangsho is love" An apt description of this place i think so and i love plain rice amd Mutton Kosha of this place and always reminds me of home.
Koshe Kosha at Chinar Park is an authentic Bengali Restaurant where one can find authentic, flavoured Bengali foods. The taste and quality of the food are great.
We ordered -
1. Gondhoraj Chicken Balls (6 pcs in one plate)
2. Mahabhoj Mashla Chingri and Mutton Thali
3. Bhetki Paturi (2 pcs.)
The size and taste of the Paturi are so perfect. And the Mohabhoj Thali is shareable and pocket-friendly as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also good but the place is a bit small.
Food quality and quantity was perfect. We ordered prawn malaikari biriani, baked paratha, gondhoraj chicken, basanti polau, mutton kosha and daab icecream is a must try, it costs rs185 but the money worths its taste and quality. A big thumbs up ❤️❤️service is a little slow, that's the only drawback
One of the best Bengali dishes is available.
We tried the special :
Mahabhoj Thali with Bhetki Paturi and Mutton Kosha which cost us 675 (9.5/10)
Aam porar Shorbot: 90 (10/10)
Fresh Lime soda: 60 (5/10)
Hellooo people,
It's review time. If you're looking for authentic Bengali cuisine in pocket friendly budget, then your search ends here. Koshe Kosha Rajarhat.
Ambience:
It is a small outlet with max capacity of 25 people. Despite being small in size, it is well decorated, tidy and hygienic place. Interior is good.
Food:
This is the best part. The Bengali delicacies that they offer, will surely meet your expectations. We ordered a Non-veg thali. Each item was mouth watering. The quantity is pretty well. You surely get the quality n quantity at an affordable price.
Staff:
They are well behaved and humble. They know how to welcome a customer. They will let you click a lot of pictures. 🤣🤣🤣

Best Bengali restaurant in all of Kolkata in my opinion.
Love the ambience, Gondhoraj Ghol, Kobiraji, Basanti Pulao, Chicken Kancha Lonka and the other items.
Also there are many Bengali sweets available.
Prices are all right.
Overall, highly recommended!
It's a medium sized outlet with around 7 tables in total.
Crazily crowded during the weekend time, good place to eat, good service.
If you get to visit the place in non- peak hours you can surely enjoy some good music along with the good service.
The staff is helpful and help you assist and choose based on your taste.
My experience was very good in this particular outlet.
Ooooh Myyyy Gooood! The place is Heaven for the Taste if food we get to Eat. The moment u order it, the start preparing it for u. And then serve u hot and delicious. I really loved the Taste of Bengali Food there. We had food for 3, and still had to take it home by parcel, as it was too kuch for us. It costed 1850 INR. It is in Chinar Park. The place is decorated like an old house in West Bengal. Very nice. They play soft Bengali music all the time.
After listening so so recommendation we visit koshe kosha chinarpark branch. Fast of all I thanks all staff because they are provided excellent service. Menu all are huge for two people. But I am so disappointed for mutton kosa because test in so bad and mochar ghonto is too much poor quality. Fish is good quality and perfect size. Chanar dalna is too much lovely test. All item is good. But MUTTON is totally bad quality.
Beautiful ambience and delicious food quality. Best Bengali restaurant near Chinar Park. Their courtesy is also good . Variety of foods with pocket friendly cost. Please visit once here.
Service was a little clumsy but the food was good.
The place has not adequate space, though they managed to keep a nice and clean atmosphere. It's just about 150-200 mts before Chinar Park more, when coming from Airport/Haldiram side.
The food here is really tasty. You should definitely opt for Basanti Polao. The Chicken Kosha is also upto the mark, not so spicy and you would feel very homely taste of the food. Aam Pora Serbet is also a very good option during the summer!
Pocket pinch: ₹800-900 for two
Must try the big thali. Food quality is very good. Must visit. Thanks 😊
For Bengali cuisine you can visit this place. Food was lovely
Very tasty food & good service.
