A much awaited visit to the place with my gang. Starting from the ambience to the food everything just fell on it's place. Because I liked dimly lit places the interior decor pleased me immensely. After much of a huss and fuss we finally settled down with the order.
We started with the mocktails. I ordered Red Grape and Basil Twister. The presention of the cocktail was great and it had the sweetness of grapes with a punch of basil in it.
Then came the starters - Dajaj Charmoula with it's unique dip. The dish is actually chicken in tandoor style with extremely soft texture. The dip suited well along with it.
Then was Beer can Tempura fish - the soft, well marinated fish fried well and presented in a Budweiser can is surely to take away hearts. The spicy mustard dip gelled up well.
Then we ordered for Fish-en-Papilotte which is basically tandoor fish with butter wrapped in paper. The dip was blue in color and had a sweet taste.
Since we couldn't satisfy our appetite we ordered for Bacardi limon Infused Tandoor Chicken Sausage. The dish tasted brilliant. The sausage was made in tandoor style and one could easily say it was a mughlai dish.
We then ordered for main course- chili garlic chicken noodles. Being a fan of spicy food we opted for Chicken in oyster and mushroom chili garlic sauce. It satisfied my spicy taste buds and the mushroom added more flavor to the dish.
Then finally came the best part - desserts.
We ordered for Classic Monte Carlo which is a pure combination of chocolate and vanilla ice-cream with chocolate sauce and chocolate biscuits. The dish tasted yummy.
We finally ended the feast with 100% Jack Daniels and Barry Callebaut. The sponge cake and the chocolate mousse in dish was delicious and is definitely above explanation.
We had a word with the Chef and was delighted to know about him. The experience was an amazing one and I would like visting the place again and again.
Probably the best restaurant I have ever been to. Chef Sambit and his team surpassed all my expectations. The cocktails or the entrees or the main course - all were unique and well researched. This is one restaurant which is not a “run of the mill” place and every dish / serving is well crafted with care and passion. Brilliant. If you haven’t eaten here, well you haven’t eaten at all.
Fantastic place to dine at each dish tasted unique would recommend everyone to dine out there chef was very welcoming each and every staff that attended us were pleasant and approachable
This is one of the best place to try a cocktail. This was my first visit and everything was just perfect except the long hour wait n they stopped serving dessert. However once I was in I felt most comfortable as there was no rush people were given time to relish each and every beautiful creations of Chef Sambit. Loved it fully.
Ambience is awesome which makes it a very good dine out place. Food is also up to the mark. A very good place for endocrine extravaganza.
I had a great time here as the food was very tasteful and presentation awesome....i personally would recommend it to all my friends...

Well! If you are interested in exploring new genre of foods the you must visit this place. Their fusion foods are awesome. Do try beer can tempura fish, backed fish Wellington and also their mocktails are great! Kokum citi is one them. You will go back there again and again if you taste their crafts on food! One of the highest rated restaurants in Kolkata, I was really excited to visit this place! Now that I have, I feel both satisfied and let down by this place.
They are taking the safety of their patrons really seriously. Your temperature is checked before you are allowed to enter. Then you, along with all your belongings are sanitized. Once you are in, the waiters do not even touch the utensils, rather, the utensils come in prepackaged paper bags like in wedding catering and only you touch it when you open the bag and take out your plate, glass and utensils. I felt that they are trying their best, and I felt safe through their efforts.
The staff is polite and professional, but a little over intrusive at times and non committal at others. They are good at what they do, but there is a chance for improvement as well in the way a customer is attended to. However, they know their suggestions and you should really listen to them about drinks if you are not sure. There are some off the menu drinks which are absolutely delectable.
It is a small establishment with decor that matches the lighting. It is not one of the best looking places interior decoration wise, but it is not shabby. It crosses the line of being a good looking establishment but not by much.
Unfortunately, they are not able to serve some of their fusion cuisine in this pandemic which is understandable. The drinks are out of this world. The best I have had in Kolkata. The food is good too, but unfortunately, I felt that some of the food was not the freshest. Maybe just a bad day at the kitchen.
I had a taste of what Spice Kraft can be, but I was left disappointed and longing for more. Maybe in a world before the pandemic, I would have been satiated. But for now, I am looking forward to visiting again to taste some more of their amazing cocktails and form a final opinion.
Drinks are awesome, good presentation...great in house service. Friendly staffs. Had enjoyed a lovely evening!!
1st dine in since lockdown due to the corona virus pandemic.
I was very excited as I've heard that the food served here is vert good and innovative, all kinda fushion dishes, at the same time I was skeptical how would be the service, whether they have upped the prices etc etc.
However, I must say I wasn't disappointed and the quality of the food was very good.
Now yes since the pandemic is far from over , you have to focus more on the sanitisation part and yes, tables were sanitised, temperature check was done, probably uc sanitisation was done post our dinner.
Coming back to the food, I loved their continental fusion dishes.

We also had chicken Stroganoff & baked fish Wellington.
Both the dishes were very good.

I have visited this place twice, It's a nice & romantic place specially for family & couples. Decoration & Food both are good specially all items of continental & tandoori items.
I can bet this is the best place in town to eat sea food. I was extremely happy with food quality and the price. I loved Dajaj charmola the most. I would definitely go there again. Recommend this place. There is always waiting time because of small space. Once you get the seat you won’t complain
Spicekraft is my favourite restaurant.i love their menu so after lockdown I visited this place again it was same believe ,proper sanitization was done ,restro was packed with people .

Decor is very good with soothing and dim lights..soft music adds elegance to the place..
Food was awesome as well as the service was quite good..
I tried Dajaj Chermoula (house special, great taste and a must try), Crispy Chilli Babycorn, Nasi Goreng (must try), Grilled Fish with Lemon Butter Sauce (must try) and Classic Monte Carlo..Had a great time here and loved the place..

Excellent food and taste. But they need to do better with the serving time. We started at 3.30 and finished at 6. But I must admit that they didn't serve all the dishes at once, rather one after the other as we finished off the previous. This also ensured that we ate fresh and hot. Lovely experience overall.. i would love to be back soon.

Visited this amazing restaurant yesterday.
It's a small cozy restaurant with amazing decor.
Staffs were well behaved and courteous.
Coming to the food,
We had:
1) Bacardi Limon infused tandoori chicken sausages
2) Beer can tempura fish
3) Baked fish Wellington
4) cockum rita
It was a nice dining experience there,would recommend this restaurant to all,and in future will surely visit this place again.

Spice Kraft is one of the top rated multi cuisine restaurant in Kolkata....they serve lip smacking & innovative starters, some amazing cocktails & a variety of main course with some irresistible desserts. Again & again I visit this place with same excitement & the reason behind this, their awesome food & courteous staffs. Their innovative way of presentation is praiseworthy.

Starting from the environment to behavior of the staff... Everything was perfect... The foods out there are just awesome... It was my first time visit there & guess what they didn't disappointed me. I ordered 2 different dishes of chicken along with some butter nun! Believe it or not they are still adhered to my tongue!!

Spice kraft in ballygaunge is a perfect example of a restaurant which specializes in molecular gastronomy. A small joint with a chic decor and lipsmacking food.
1.The famed Beer battered can tempura fish is a Crispier version of fish and chips or battered fish fry with the dip which goes perfectly with it. 2.Dajaj Chermoula, chicken drumsticks cooked with Chermoula spice and charcoal with a sweet yoghurty dip is a match made in heaven. 3.Coq au vin, a lost French specialty, chicken, onion and mushroom cooked in a rich red wine creamy gravy is perfectly exhibited here. 4.Boozerts(alcohol infused dessert) is a specialty here with the 100% jack Daniel's and Barry Callebaut rich chocolate mousse and drunked petit fours a perfect example of it.
5. Innovative and awesome cocktails. Kir royale and Bailey's with crushed ice shown in the frame.
Pocket pinch for all of this: Rs.1670 (which is a good deal)
The taste of the foods were heavenly.. awesomely decorated.. moctails were a visual delight.. Everyone should visit at least once..

I dont really know from where to begin to describe how amazing these dishes were.
I've tried the following items-
1. Kao phad pla with pineapple (9 on 10)
It is a rice preparation with some minced fish balls and pineapple. I dont prefer spicy food hence it was amazing to the palate.
2.Orange zest chicken (9 on 10)
Boneless chicken cubes in a zesty orange gravy with a sweet tangy and spicy taste. Goes really well with some plain veg rice though.
3. Lobster thermidor (10 on 10)
Lobsters are my all time favorite and with that thermidor sauce as well. Great to go with some sauteed vegetables and herb rice.
4. Dajaj chermoula (10 on 10)
Dajaj chermoula is a lebanese dish with chicken marinated with chermoula spices and char grilled-the chicken is so tender it melts in your mouth. As described, this actually melted n my mouth. Also, it is not spicy.
I love this place... Foods are awesome and lovely presentations and taste is also very good.

A beautiful place to go for a lunch or a dinner along with cocktails at reasonable rates. Trust me if you are looking for having cocktails ta reasonable rates , young people this is the best place for you. You can also have a tummy-filled lunch or dinner at a very reasonable price. Talking about the staffs, they are very friendly and helpful. They are really pretty skilled in upselling, thats how they suggested me The hammer jack over Long Island Iced Tea but trust me they will give you the right choice. They also suggested me Shepherds pie which was also out of the world. One thing i will try for sure is the shepherd's pie it just wont my heart.
Hammer jack- A Patialia kinda cocktail for you which is combined with 5 kinds of spirits and it is for sure that it is gonna slam you hard. Must try! Paisa wasooool!
Daiquiri- A beautiful white rum based cocktail served along with cane sugar right at the tip of the glass makes it look quite appealing. It is a must try for all the white rum lovers.
Dajaj Chermoula- The plating was fabulous. Seemed very attractive. But talking about reality the hyped dish seemed pretty normal to me. It was good and simple. The chicken was soft and tender and it is a good accompaniment if you are going for cocktails.
Shepherd's Pie- It was suggested by the staff and i must thanks a lot to him for this suggestion. The mashed potatoes were perfectly baked. When you dig in you get a spoonful of mashed potatoes, some crispy bits, meat, and vegetables all in one bite.
Pan-fried Cantonese Noodles (mixed)- the noodles was tasty and the texture was appealing. The vegetables were well cooked along with the prawn and chicken. It tasted well with the Sichuan chicken side dish.
Sichwan Chicken- A perfect side dish for Pan friend noodles or Cantonese noodles. If you are a spicy food lover you must try this. The consistency of the gravy was good and talking about the taste of chicken, the pieces were soft and tender.

OKAY, straight to the food
We had:
1. DAJAJ CHERMOULA- A Lebanese favorite. So, i highly suggest this one as the starter. The charcoal-grilled dish is bound to make you love it. The chicken pieces were just soft and grilled to perfection. At the same time, it was a little bit of spicy. It was quite different from the regular grilled chicken that we have.
2. BEER CAN TEMPURA FISH- 6 golden crispy fried fish fillets served with an orange ponzu tartare sauce. Okay, i didn't like the smell of fried fish with some tangy, zesty dip or sauce. The fried fish fillets were amazing in taste. But the orange tartare sauce didn't go well with the fries. I did not like it.
3. BUTTER NAAN- Moderate and served in a very cute way. 😉
4. MUTTON GUSHTABA- Okay, so it was very very rich , creamy, and thick. The gravy was sweet and smelt of mostly elaichi or cardamom. I liked it very very much. But the mutton roundels hidden in that were not at all soft or fluffy. They were a bit hard. Else the taste of the entire dish was just very fine.
4. JACK DANIELS CHOCOLATE MOUSSE AND DRUNKEN PETIT FOURS - I quite liked the presentation on the plate. Okay, so the JD chocolate mousse was amazing. When you will be getting the chocolate flavor, then a slight smell of alcohol will come to remind you that it's there. The petit fours were dry and not at all moist. But each of the thing went well with the other. I suggest.
So, above all, this place has been able to keep up with my expectations. Many more delicacies are left to be tasted. Will surely pay a visit again.
A very good restaurant with creative dishes, chinese and continental. Lovely ambiance and great service. Their signature dishes are lip-smacking delicious. Very reasonable pricing also. Situated on Hajra road opposite of Quadra this is a small but cozy place and almost always houseful. We had oglio olio, devil crab, a baked lamb dish, prawn in coriander, fish in beer sauce. Each item was good in quality and great in taste.
Awesome food, lovely ambiance...! Specially Deviled Crab dish is a must try...! All over was a good experience

Exotic is the word that comes to my mind when I go through their menu.
I was in a famished state when I reached Spice Kraft. Ordered whatever sounded nice, and they delivered. It sounded nice and tasted fabulous.
I would love to revisit again.
Tasty, authentic Good Quantity food with great quality and fast service. You will get most of the cuisine continental, Chinese to Indian food with different hard drinks, cocktails as well as mocktails. Just love it. I am sharing some picture of dishes which we ordered. Must try.

This is one the best cuisine restaurant I’ve been to in Kolkata. Classic food and courteous staff is something that makes this place a lit one. I’ve had penne pasta, sangria, gobi k ful, monte carlo that satisfied my tummy to the core. The best thing about this place is it’s location. You can reach there both by train and metro.

I have always been fond of continental dishes. Chicken Stoganoff was indeed a great choice. Kababs were also delicious & well proportioned .I was amazed by the quality of drinks they served. Drinks were very soothing.. Extra points for presentation ofcourse..

It is located near hazra law college. It is a classy restaurant, no doubt!! If you want to have some classy foods with your friends or beloved, then this is one of the perfect place for you. Ambience was good, but not extraordinary. But one thing I like the most is their presentation. Ufff!! What a presentation!! 😍 I think no other restaurants serve their food in such way. Not only that, taste of every item was so good. In case of price, it is little bit high. since it is a classy place, hence you can afford atleast this level, even you should be. In overall, my experience was excellent. Completely "paisa wasool". 🙂

I think we all can agree that this place is really fantastic when it comes to food and drinks and the ambience is so soft and soothing, it almost complements the delectable food.. The staff members are very warm and helpful as well!

The food is interesting and flavorful and beautifully presented. Service/hospitality was 👍, they were attentive and knowledgeable about their menu. The cocktails were boozy and yum. Regarding the pricing, we thought it was value for money given the quantity they served for each of the dishes.

A nice somewhat upper mid category restaurant with good food and great service.
Beer batter fish is a must try. Charmoula chicken was also good. The continental dishes were average. The white gravy mutton dish was amazing, though i feel the quantity could have been more.
If you go it is almost guaranteed you won't be disappointed. Indian , Chinese, continental,It has something for everyone. Great for family gatherings and group meet-up.
Loved the vibe and ambience. The staff were so friendly and kind; they suggested food items and helped us figure out the name of a starter. And the food was amazing. The chicken was so well cooked that i felt i could have 1 more plate. Everything was super tasty. It's slightly pricey but the quality was worth every penny. Can't wait to visit this place again. And it's definitely a must visit if you like continental and/or Indian.
Very good food and cocktails. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They were happy to suggest items based on our choices. The vibe and the atmosphere was really good too. The food was really tasty. Would recommended the beer battered fish as I believe it is a must- try at this place.

This was my return visit after a decade. And it reminded me why this is Kolkata's highest rated restaurant.
The food was excellent. Both quality and quantity wise. The service was faultless and the atmosphere was soothing.
We ordered chicken dejaj and chicken fried rice with some sort of spicy chicken gravy(forgot its name).
All were good and fulfilling.

Had a sumptuous lunch on Durga puja Nabami.
Staff members have been very courteous and helpful, right from the doorman to waiter. There was no wait time around 1:30 pm, but by 2 - the restaurant was full. The seating space is quite cramped.
We ordered mostly continental, and each one of them was packed with flavors, and perfectly made. Only letdown of the lunch was Lucknow dum mutton biriyani - aroma of attar, which was something quite overboard, ruined the plate.
Overall, it was quite satisfying lunch, and I’ll long to go back again.
