Whenever I'm craving some Chinese food and also too go out I order from bliss. Their fried rich is one of the best. The quality and quantity both are excellent. They don't have sitting arrangement at the moment so you won't be able to dine-in there. They only take takeaways and they will do delivery.
Food Quantity is excellent along with food quality... Try Mix Gravy Manchurian Noodles and Hot Garlic Chicken, It's my favourite. đ

Ordered for veg Hakka Chow, Veg Manchurian and exotic vegetables. Everything was fresh, light and delicious. Thankfully it was not greasy. Will definitely try out other items from the menu.
Today our train stopped at this restaurant. I heard about this restaurant and then decided to check this out. First of all this restaurant is best for takeaway not for sit and eat. Only 3 tables and i guess in the evening it will be full.
Now about food. All Chinese as they said in their name, we ordered Pan fried momo(Chicken) , Mixed fried rice, Fish Manchurian, and chilli Fish.
Quantity wise its great. 1 mix fried rice is enough for 2 people, pan fried momo size also very adequate.
Taste wise it is ok as well actually No complaint.
But one thing I don't like which is the coating of chilli fish or Manchurian is very thick and there very less amount of fish inside the coating which actually dissapoint me. They should think about this matter.

A small eatery located at Hindustan Park operating for over 27 years was the place I chose for dinner a few days back! We had ordered for Steamed Chicken Momos, PanFried Chicken Momos & Panfried Chilli Chicken! Every dish that we ordered tasted fabulous! The service was quick and prompt so was the great hospitality. They have 4-8 seater tables inside the joint premises and you can make yourself confortable over there. Also, they serve soft drinks alongside which is yet another added advantage. The menu is vivid and the food is surely top notch. Highly Recommended.

Small place, but there Chinese food is real good, polite staff, the food quantity is quite generous. In frame chicken fried rice.even there momos are real good and big in size. The Pan fries chicken momo is a must try.

It's mainly a takeaway joint with a very basic dine-in added. Sit down to eat just for food. There are 3 plastic tables in a garage set-up. Don't expect an ambience. Otherwise, take away your food or order in.
The food is the reason to keep going back. Flavourful and simple! No extra effort to score with your palate. The portions are good and the prices reasonable. I have had a number of dishes here. Dined in and taken away. Only one caution: Eat hot. The side dishes utterly lack taste if they get cold.
Our office team dropped in for snacking, back from a meeting. Mixed gravy noodles and dry chilli chicken were ordered. The noodles were delicious with good quantity of chicken, prawn and egg. The chilli chicken had eight uncoated, tender and succulent pieces and pleasing in taste. Such tender and juicy chicken is not easy to come by in restaurants. Not overly hot, so it's fit for children.
The name itself gives the feeling for food lovers. BLISS, hold true to its name. have been eating in this place for last 2.5 years and not once they have disappointed with quantity or quality, whether sitting arrangements or take away. The people are helpful. The dishes are truly awesome.

Before getting on with the review I would like to state something completely unrelated. I believe everyone has that one restaurant or eatery they have kept visiting since their childhood and somehow the taste emanating from their food is at par with ghorer khabar so much so that you find it difficult at times to distinguish the same. Bliss is somewhat like that. This place is very close to my heart and I have always trusted this place to never go wrong with any dish from their menu.
Bliss has a faithful set of patrons most of whom have been visiting this place for a long long time(like me, some from their childhood). Having sampled 70% of their menu I think it is safe to say that their mixed chowmein will put many famed heavyweights to shame. Not much to look at....and they havent bothered to expand their capacity but I believe that's what has kept them unique and the demand high over the years(during Durga pujo they lay out a few extra tables and chairs to cater to the huge crowd). Waiting for your turn comes free with wanting to grab a bite here. They serve basic yet atrociously delectable Indo Chinese dishes and the portions being served is more than enough for two. Pan fried chicken/fish, chilly chicken, garlic fish are some of their best side dishes on offer. They are very discreet with the menu so you won't face much confusion whilst ordering food here.

This restaurant is really a gem hidden in the streets of Hindustan park, Kolkata.
Firstly, when u enter, u might be judging this place by its shabby touch and its not so big dining space.
But I can promise u, that once u take a dip in any of the food here, u gonna entirely forget ur judgements and everything. U will only be busy in enjoying the lovely food there.
I went there with my parents, and hence, they being vegetarian, we ordered two plates of Veg Fried Rice and one plate Veg. Manchurian.
Veg fried Rice has a perfect Chinese aroma and quantity of veggies are also well balanced. Coming to the Manchurian, it has a thick gravy and it is very spicy. The Manchurian pieces are very soft and the gravy very well compliments the Manchurian balls.
The food is just perfect. For the college students who are in a budget, this place is a must go for them.

Bliss is undoubtedly a hidden gem tucked away within the streets of Hindustan Park.Located beside Azad Hind Dhaba,this place is very small with sitting capacity of hardly 8-10 people.They serve authentic Chinese and Tibetan.The pricing is reasonable,the amount is nice and the quality is quite good.

All the items were good .Specially the chicken momo is worth a try.They serve quite a good portion and can be easily shared by 2 people.This is a favourite place for students as it is quite pocket friendly.If you decide to go to Gariahat,give this place a visit.

This budget friendly place is very popular for their delicious food. I tried the bliss special fried rice for the first time, which contained good amount of chicken, egg, prawns,mushrooms and was served with an poached egg and salad on the top. The hot garlic chicken(boneless and with thin conflour coating) was also very tasty and it was cooked according to our preference (less spicy). Both the dishes was quite good in quantity and can be shared by two.
A sudden found small restaurant near Gariahat. My friend convinced me to have lunch there otherwise I couldn't have found this place. The restaurant is very small. Hardly 10 people can sit at a time. But if you talking about the food-Â it was good. The quantity was very good. We ordered one plate of crispy fried chicken, one egg chicken fried rice and garlic chicken in gravy. The quantity was so good that we couldn't finish one plate rice in one go. The crispy chicken was so good. The garlic chicken also good but the cornflour coating could be little thinner. A small food joint just opposite Tintin & Brussels Club. Place is too small it can accommodate maximum 10-12 people. But the food is so good that mostly they served home delivery. Yesterday evening I visited with Maa after shopping and we ordered Mixed Noodles and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Food was good no complaint.

During the festive season shopping in one of the busiest part of Kolkata, i.e Gariahat can make you feel either tired or make a mouse run inside your stomach. The latter happened with me. Found this gem food joint between Gariahat and Hindusthan Park and the name says it all about the food they serve. Its a small food joint, hardly a strength of 15 can sit and have a meal at this joint. But the amount of takeaways they cater to, is simply stupendous. The menu is an all Chinese menu and the staff here is very kind and always assists you whenever required upon.Â

The Pan Fried Chicken Momo was simply exquisite in taste. The Momo was stuffed with proper Chicken filling and was properly fried on the outside, the crunch was quite detectable. The gravy which accompanied the Momo was spicy and made to perfection. Scooping the gravy and sticking it on the top of the Momo and then taking the bite was a love altogether (No words to explain. You have to go and have it!). The Pan Fried Fish was fantastic. Tthe fish didn't smell and the crunchiness of the fish was great to go along with the gravy. The gravy was spicy which enhanced the flavor of the fish even more (The fish was Basa). The Chicken Lollipop served here is quite unique. You wonât be getting this type of Chicken Lollipop anywhere in town. A chicken lollipop generally has drum stick attached to rear end of the chicken, but Bliss serves pure meat without any bones, just a proper piece of chicken flesh, deep fried with the batter. The taste is tempting and goes along with raw onions and different sauces. It is more like a chicken strip form KFC i.e the shape, but much better taste and each piece weighs more than those served at KFC.

Mostly order take outs. Food is great my personal fav being mixed fried rice and mandarin fish. The garlic chicken , gravy and hakka noodles both are very good. Its amazing that bliss being a small restaurant maintains such good standards-Their chicken is always soft moist and fresh . Generally I do not order for any prawn dishes from take out joints or small joints ..but trust me the prawn that is served is always fresh , clean and beautifully cooked..loads of veggies in the rice and noodles-pretty generous serving per plate - Its more than enough for two people.

This place is located in the lane just opposite to Basanti Devi College... They serve mouthwatering Chinese cuisine at a much low price.. The place is a bit small and can accommodate a maximum of 12 people.. So it becomes bit crowded at times.. But they provide a great service.. They provide real Bhetky fish at a much lower price of Rs200/- only which was very shocking for me.. The quality and quantity of all the dishes are really fulfilling.. One of the best Chinese restaurant I have ever gone and that so at a pocket friendly price..
PS:- Would like to visit their again and again.. I just love all the fish main courses as they provide original Bhetky..Also their mixed hakka noodles and hot garlic chicken are delicious!!

Have been there a lot of times and their food never dissapoints me. Let me tell you, if you are running a little tight on budget you can rely on this place. They are a little short on space but they are never short of delivering good food. One can call and make an order and then pick up or else if you are living nearby they can deliver it to you.
Their specaility i would say is the soup, the Hot and Sour Chicken soup. It is thick, packed with flavour. I would recommend that.

I've been visiting this place for years now.
Absolutely love their pan fried momos! It's the perfect balance of sweet and spicy.
Their combos have generous quantity even for two. Love their schezwan chicken.
The only setback is it seats about 12 people and at times you might have to share your table. This place is tiny and not air conditioned.
The food totally makes up for the sacrifice on the ambience.
Best place in the area when you want value for money 90% of the individual menu items are priced below 200 rupees. They don't compromise on taste either, serving lip smacking dishes like âĸlemon chicken âĸhot garlic chicken âĸcrispy honey fish âĸfried golden prawn âĸchilli baby corn.
Get a complete meal with an array of combos priced just above 200. They are one of the better Chinese and pan Asian cuisine restaurants out there in that area in this price range with some special dishes to choose from be sure to try it out especially recommended for home delivery.
I have tried their steamed and fried chicken momo, chicken gravy chowmein, egg chicken hakka noodles and chicken sweet corn soup.
The food quality and quantity had been excellent so far. Not authentic Chinese but Chinese cuisine that makes you yearn for more. I do plan to try more of their items from their elaborate menu.

Having seating capacity of about 10 - 12 people, bliss is indeed one of the best place serving Chinese cuisine in city. Due to some personal issues, I had to take away the food and hence couldn't dine in there. Food was superb. I ordered Vegetable Chowmin, Vegetable Fried Rice, Crispy Chilli Baby corn and Vegetable Manchurian. First of all, packing was excellent. Quantity of food was totally unexpected, as it was huge. Coming to quality, food was superb and delicious. It was much better than some Chinese restaurants offering authentic Chinese. Totally lip smacking and fantastic.

I would give this small food joint 10/10 for it authentic Chinese food menu, it's taste, Quality,Quantity and most importantly it's very pocket friendly.
Even if it's the end of the month and you have 250-300 bucks in your pocket, trust me,this place will serve you well and you will be full.
The lady(owner) is a very dear person and always greets you with a smile on her face. I'm sure if you have been once you'll crave to drop in sooner next time AND if you haven't been, hurry up.

But i would suggest not to go by their small space because, if you do so, you would then miss out the most amazing indian chinese dishes served by them. This place has always been my favourite when it comes to having some delicious Chinese at the cheapest possible rate. Sharing my recent experience, I tried the Steamed Chicken Momos and Mixed Hakka Noodles.
One plate of momos is priced at just 100 bucks, which includes six steamed momos served with tomato dip and a bowl of chicken soup. If you're looking for a good place for momos, you should never miss this. The momos are quite large in size and are stuffed generously with a juicy chicken stuffing. What won my heart was the tangy tomato dip. Trust me this is the best condiment for momos you'll ever get. The dip was made using mashed tomato, garlic and spices. It wasn't fiery hot and spicy, like the other momo dips. It was tangy and less spicy. The soup was flavourful, with minced chicken pieces and herbs. One plate of this is enough to satiate your hunger.
The Hakka Noodles tasted amazing. It was loaded with chicken, fried egg and shrimps with utmost generosity. You wouldn't need any side dish with it. The quantity is huge and good enough for two.
The bill came to 240 bucks only. Waiting to visit this place again.
This small Chinese food joint is located near Gariahat. Visited this place quite a few times and my experience here is fine. It's a very pocket friendly food joint which serve tasty foods in reasonable price. The dining area is just a roadside eatery so nothing to mention about the ambiance. Must give it a try if you are hungry and need a budget meal.

This place is something here you would like to go on days when you don't really want to spend much but still want to have good food. This non AC, small joint, which has a seating capacity of only 12 people, is located at a 5 minutes-walk along the lane opposite to Basanti Devi College. Me and my friends order the same old thing every time, and this day was no different:
1. Red Pepper Fish- undoubtedly THE BEST item from the menu! Soft fish cubes fried and sauteed in onion, garlic and capsicum. Spicy and totally amazing!
2. Sauteed Chicken Drumsticks- boneless chicken strips, deep fried and sauteed in the well-known Chinese sauce. Another spicy hit!
3: Bliss Special Fried Rice- a big serving of Chinese mix fried rice with veggies, shrimps, chicken and a fried egg on top. Enough for two people.
4: Mandarin Chicken: moderately spicy chicken side dish.
Red Pepper Fish is a Must try! Although not a place for a date, per se, this place is a good option to grab a quick meal with friends during those end-of-the-month cheap days!

The food is really good as well as cheap compared to others...one of my favourite spots in the weekends...the service might not be that professional but the food makes up for it..
Located in a prime location ( Just beside Azad Hind dhaba in Lake Road ), this place has been a favourite of mine for quite some years now. They serve one of the best Chinese South Calcutta has to offer and also very much pocket friendly . The only downside is the small sitting area which often leads to crowds and a wait to get a seat . Some dishes that I would recommend are Fried Chicken momo ,Chicken and corn soup, dry chilly chickeen. Garlic chicken , their gravy noodles (any one ) , Manchurian fish , crispy chicken and so on . Those who haven't yet paid this place a visit , I urge you to do the same . You wont be disappointed .
Had a drive-in visit in an evening... Ordered only chicken hakka chow.Back in my car and had the food. It was tasty and really pocket friendly.will try other items in my next visits.

Bliss is honest, mostly fresh and good for your soul. Recommendations include Thai soup, hot garlic chicken, Hakka noodles and the pan fried fish is good too. Avoid the momos here cuz tho tbh. They're not bad but the skin in too thick.
This is my favourite joint. There is absolutely no match for the food they serve at that price. Lung fung soup is a must try for soup lovers. Other than this I would recommend gravy noodles and any of the fried rice as main course. However, their Haka noodles is not upto the mark. Quantity is huge and easily suffices two person per plate. Service is very good.
They have many combo meals. I liked there chicken drumsticks and prawn chaw and chilly prawn. The quantity is really large and taste of the food is also good.
Probably one of the most pocket friendly non AC restaurant. The quantity of food is excessive but tasty too. Maybe its not as fancy but the quantity & price attracts a lot many customers. I really liked their chicken chowmein & chicken Manchurian combo.
A bit hard to find and the ambience isn't great. But good food and the quantity is great. The veg combo wasn't great and the garlic chicken wasn't spicy enough. Prices are great and pocket pinch for two would be an average of Rs. 400 approx.

We ordered for Pan fried fish, Bliss special Gravy Chowmein, Chicken Fried rice and Chicken Manchurian.
Pan fried fish was the most I liked. It was delicious and finger licking good. Those who do not like spicy dry chowmein, Gravy Chowmein is just perfect for them. Fried rice and Manchurian was OK; nothing special.
I must say the quantity was more than enough. Staffs are good and service is prompt.
Try it, you will be satisfied.
This one features heavily on my weekend regular list. The food here is reminiscent of the classic Calcutta Chinese variety. Particularly of note are the momos, especially the Pan Fried ones, and the Crispy Chilli Chicken which is a unique blend of tangy, spicy and fried goodness. My absolute favourite is the Mixed Chinese Chop suey. The noodles are crisp while the gravy is excellently cooked - just the right amount of thickness and filled with meat. All of the dishes are served in wholesome quantities. Only regret is that they don't serve more variety of meat. Being primarily a takeaway/home delivery joint, the ambience isn't much to boast of but the very prompt delivery service coupled with reasonably priced good food makes this restaurant a personal favourite.

Since my admission into Basanti Devi College, this restaurant has become a regular part of our eating endeavours and has become our regular go-to canteen/hub. The place is non-ac, small, with three tables only, service is good but what attracts us there is their surprisingly quality promising food at such a cheap rate! Located in Gariahat, do try the gravy noodles there, it's really tasty! One plate of gravy noodles is sufficient for two! So if you take 1 plate gravy noodles and 1 side dish and share the bill with your partner/friend, you are paying 130-150rs each. Cheap and affordable eh? Their manchurian gravy noodles is worth a try. Also, it's difficult to choose and single out their sidedishes for review as all are equally tasty! Do try their panfried chicken momo! A five star in all. A must try.
My family is a very frequent customer to this place and for quite a long time. I would not recommend a dine-in at this place, but definitely the takeaway is a must try. The food is amazing and truly worth the prices. It is pocket friendly and both the quality and taste is praise worthy. If you're looking for a relaxing chinese dinner back at home, you must order from this place.

Tried Chicken Drumstick & Hot Garlic mixed chowmein. Drumstick was juicy, tangy and tasty. Chow had nice fillings and was well cooked.

This joint doesn't have much seating arrangements, just a few tables & chairs but it offers quite good Chinese food. I have tried Soup, Fried rice but I liked the gravy chowmein the most. Give it a try and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Although I have walked pass this place several times, but never thought of grabing a bite here, till my cousin sis Tanwyee Ray suggested this place for a light and quick bite.
Just three tables one 18 seats available, one cannot call it a resturant. From the look of it it appears they get more take out orders than sit and dine. In decor part, there is nothing to memtion here.
The place looked liked a garage which has been converted to dine out resturant and take away. The chairs and tables are all made up of plastic and the enitire arrangement was just squeezed into one place. Not so comfortable.
The food however I found delicious and more than enough for two and cheap too.
We wanted to have a light snack, so we ordered a chicken fried momo and a crispy chili chicken, we were suggested by the waiter it would be less spicy but turned out to be too hot to handle. The serving was plenty as having the momo was enough to fill our stomach. The stuffing was hot and soft. With the spicy sauce made it more delicious. The outer covering for the momo was. soft enough for us to cut it to pieces. It was served hot with a bowl of chicken soup. In the winter it is a good choice.
We were so full that looking at the crispy chicken was painful. Quantity was good and so was the taste. As a dry snack one can have it but it was better to have it while its hot. As we took too.much time finishing the momo, this one git cold and a bit harder. What took our breath away was the spicyness of this dish.
For the service was prompt and due to the limited seating, they prefer to serve their customers quick so that more can be served. Well we were looking to hang out and chat but we can keep others waiting for long.
My conclusion is the food is great and its better have a take away. It is not a place to hangout.

We ordered the mixed fried rice, chicken chowmien along with shredded chicken as well as fried chicken wings. The chicken was good and the taste remains the same. No question about quantity. Ate the leftovers in brunch. Home delivery time was also within the promise.
Visited here to tried their Chinese cuisines. Situated in hindustan park area easy to find. Normally designed nothing high fi. Sitting arrangement was also average. Ambience was good cause tou get the smell of delicious Chinese dishes always. Hospitality was good. Service in reasonable time and presentation was nice. Price was reasonable compare to taste, quantity and quality. I tried their veg hot Garlic chowmin with vegetable manchurian which tasted amazingly delicious. Spicy, hot, flavorful and tremendously tasty. Must try place. Recommended for food.
What you might not like too much: the sitting space which is bare minimum, the interior, there might be hygiene concern though am pretty sure they maintain a clean kitchen.
What you'll love: the food. The price, even more. The quantity that they provide for 150 bucks can easily fill one spot stomach for dinner. I wouldn't be able to handle an entire plate of chow personally, though it's super tasty. Also, there is home delivery for short distances.
So go check out the place. It's best if you want to pack your food for home to sit and enjoy it with a good TV series. â¤ī¸
I have been visiting this place for the last two years. Small restaurant, can afford 6 people maximum. Interiors are so so.but the food is amazing. Recommended this place to many friends. All loved it. Pocket friendly. One of my favorite place. If u r looking fr a gud Chinese restaurant but dnt want to spend a lot of money..then do visit this place.
This place is one of the best place that you can visit when you are low on budget. Very tasty food within a very affordable price.

I've been here a thousand and hundred times and always, without fail, Bliss has given me and my pocket extreme joy!
Our pre - Diwali bash was a success thanks to the food from this joint. Such amazing food at such cheap rates - really a steal.
I've visited the joint in real, and there is not much to say about its dÊcor or interior, however one cannot call it shabby or anything. It is very clean and has spick and span tables and chairs. Non - ac though.
On the 28th, however we decided to order food from this joint to my house.
The food was too gooood, and too much for the 4 of us.
We had ordered :
âĸ Mixed fried rice - we had ordered 2 plates of this and the quantity was soo sooo much. Amazing taste with an abundance prawns, eggs and chunks of chicken.
âĸ Mixed hakka chow - 1 plate of this was enough for 2! This tasted divine. Again and abundance of meat here.
For sides :
âĸ Chilli potato gravy - the quantity was overwhelming. And it tasted out of this world.
âĸ Chicken Manchurian - 8 big pieces of chicken in this dish. Impeccable taste. Went really well with both the rice and chow.
All I can say is, Bliss has never disappointed me, and I'm more than sure that it never will. The quality and taste of the food items is more than awesome.

A very tiny restaurant with limited seating capacity (3x4). Though the price of food is on the higher side, especially comparing to the infrastructure of the restaurant (it is a bit more than a garage space) the quality of food is unbelievably good. Once you taste food here, you are bound to come back again. HIGHLY recommended.
Small cozy place is gariahaat. Its a small outlet but remains busy always. One portion of food served is enough for two people. Its tasty and so filling, i ordered chow and chicken fried rice combo. The chow was so so yummy. The rice and chilli chicken was awsm
One of the best budget friendly restaurants in this locality. Mouthwatering taste. Bliss special chowmin is simply yummy! Seating area inside is small and it's always so crowded, so better to take out. Order can be placed over phone even without paying anything in advance. Better carry cash as it is preferable to any card or e-payment there.

Located a quite an accessible location near Basanti Devi college, bliss is an awesome place to have a few tasty mouth watering snacks. A few of my must tries would be, the pan fried momos, the pepper fried chicken, hunan chicken, Shreded chicken, Chichen chowmein. The quantities are really impressive too, you would be satisfied for sure.
The only negative point being the space, its a very small place with only 2-3 tables available and that too beside the road, but perfect for street food.
So its just great food at proper cost.
