|| Sholoana Bangali 🤤 ||
Sholoana Bangali has been old and eminent place among Bengalis in Kolkata since a long time.
It is a must visit for every authentic Bengali cuisine lover in town. It is one of the good restaurants in the City of Joy which serves extremely delicious Bengali Cuisine. Being a Bengali myself, my love for Bengali food is eternal. Bengali cuisines are pride of Kolkata as it shows we Bengalis love have authentic Bengali food.
Sholoana Bangali is a food heaven for all the Bengali food lovers in the city. Based solely on their hard work and standard quality towards the homely Bengali cuisine foods, this place has won a lot of hearts in the City of Joy ❤ Sholoana Bangali had been the favourite spot for all Bengalis, from being the perfect hiding spot to adda sessions with family and friends during lunch and dinner in South Kolkata. A proper bangaliana feel what you will get at this place. Sholoana Bangali has three branches - the one being at Prince Anwar Shah Road, Sector V (Salt Lake) outlet and another one is at Garia outlet, Kolkata. Recently I was at the Prince Anwar Shah outlet of Sholoana Bangali with my family for a Bengali lunch.
📍 Location: This outlet of Sholoana Bangali is at 14 C /114 B, Techno Tower, Prince Shah Road Kolkata. It is walking distance from the South City Mall.
▶ Ambience/Décor/Service: Speaking of Ambience, the ambience of the place is really amazing, and it is perfectly matching to all the Bengalis sentiments. The décor of the place is beautifully decorated with Bengali tradition and culture. The staffs are super friendly & always ready at your service. The service of the place is prompt and amazing to satisfy both the tummy and the heart.
▶ Now coming to real deal which is food of course. Who does not love Authentic Bengali Cuisine, right? They have variety of options in the Authentic Bengali cuisine. All the items were just lip-smacking. So, we opted for the following items from the menu during the recent visit during the lunch👉
❤ Main Course 😋
🔸 Moving on to the Main Course
⚜️ Rice (Dehradun)- Normal rice that we generally have at home.
⚜️ Aloo Bhaja- It is perfect bhaja item that goes with the steamed rice for most Bengalis during the lunch time.
⚜️ Sukto- Most Bengalis love to have Sukto with some hot rice at the beginning of any meal. This sukto was really good with the addition of milk in it.
⚜️ Topse Fry- Topse Fry is an amazing starter for Bengali during the lunch time. I personally love to have Topse Fry during the lunch time.
⚜️ Jhige Alu Posto - Without this Aloo Posto most of the bongs do not believe lunch to be incomplete. Aloo Posto is very famous among most of the Bengalis.
⚜️ Narkel Diye Mug Dal- Perfect home-style dal went well with rice. The addition of narkel in the dal added a sweetness to the dish.
⚜️ Bhetki Paturi- Bhetki was not so good. I did not like it.
⚜️ Basanti Pulao- I just love to have Bengali pulao during the lunch time and when it is combined with any chicken gravy and mutton gravy then it is a perfect Bengali lunch combo.
⚜️ Chicken Kasha-This is another must try out item from their menu! When it was combined with Basanti Pulao then it was just too Good in taste!
⚜️ Chingri Malai curry- Personally, I love to have chingri so much that whenever I visit a Bengali restaurant for lunch, I generally do not miss out on Chingri Malai cuury This Chingri Malai curry was amazing in taste (Recommended).
❤ Desserts 😍
🔸 Lastly, the desserts complete the heavy Bengali lunch with a sweet note:
⚜️ Khejur Aamsotto Chutney- Chutney is always necessary for all Bengalis after a heavy lunch. I personally loved this Aamsotto Chutney.
⚜️ Raj Bhog- The perfect sweet for all Bengalis to have after a heavy lunch like this. This Raj Bhog was really good in taste. After having the Raj Bhog it was heavenly feeling.
Starting from the Starters to Main course to desserts everything tasted nice and perfect. All the items that we tried from the menu were delicious and tasty and they give very good quantity.
💰 Pocket pinch: - Pinch for two is ₹ 600- ₹ 800 for a great and delightful experience.
▶ Overall: - Overall, it was lovely experience for me after a long time had a authentic Bengali lunch. Those who intend to have a taste and feel for authentic Bengali cuisine, Sholoana Bangali is a perfect place for you. Will surely visit once again to try some of their other delicacies from the place ❤
Sholoana Bengali is a very famous restaurant for it's Bengali and Bangladeshi cuisine. I had visited their Prince Anwar Shah Road branch which is located at near from Canara Bank ATM in Prince Anwar Shah Road.
•As I loved Rice so I tried their's Basati Polau and Chicken Dakbanglo. The Ambience of this place was really nice.
• Basati Polau was amazing in taste. The quality of rice was superb and also well cooked.
• Chicken Dakbanglo was also awesome in taste. It was a perfect match with Polau. Chicken was tender and flavourful. In Dakbanglo, there was also an egg which is also well good. Overall Dakbanglo was totally too good.
•Quantity and quality of each item was enough and upto the mark. Service is fast and staffs are courteous and helped us to choose the right item. Prices are appropriate according to the quality and quantity of food.
One of my most favourite restaurant in the town quality and quantity is absolutely fine as as the prices confirm their decorating ideas the serving details are amazing and absolutely fabulous all the best
Fantastic place..just a bit tighter. A bigger area will make a huge difference. Foood is just awesome and so is the service
This place is amazing. Must try lote macher bora.
We had ordered simple Bengali rice there and they were absolutely delicious and light on the pocket.
The perfect place in town to have the pure authentic taste of Bengali food.
I just loved the place.
The restaurant is specialized in bengali cuisine.
My go-to place for decent Bengali food.
Favourites: Basanti Pulao and mutton Dakbunglow.
The staff here is friendly and seating arrangements are decent.
Parking for four wheeler is a problem in this outlet.
They also tinker the items served slightly, based on suggestions by the customers, which is worth appreciating.
In picture: Mutton Dakbunglow
This place is located close to South City Mall. Very close to my Kolkata office. Visited this place for dinner. To relish some Bengali food.
Enjoyed the delicacies here. The mutton was the best that I had. Also had elish and lote bora and dal rice with vegetable and chutney.
The entire experience of this Bengali food was amazing.
Few days ago i was visited this restaurant. The ambiance of this restaurant is decent. Now coming to the food i have ordered rice, mugdal , alu bhaja ,chingrir malaicurry and chanar dalna. The taste of the food is good. Chanar dalna was tooo perfect and so delicious. Bt little bit costly.
Food is excellent here... Must visit for all bengali food lovers.. Price is very much pocket friendly and quantity and quality of food is super...
Must try dishes-Mutton dukbanglow, maacher matha diye dal, crab, chingri malaikari...
Just beside South City..whenever I go to my uncle's place at South City apartment he orders food from here..they make excellent Bhetki paturi, Jhonge aloo pesto mochar ghanto..but I liked the most Chicken Dakbangla served with an egg and chicken pieces..good food and prompt service 😊👍
Nice food. Nice ambiance. Go for the thali option. You get everything under one plate at a very reasonable cost. Served well. Courteous staff.
Went there on saraswati pujo at around 3 p.m
Almost all the items were not available. We ordered 1.topse fry -3pcs
2. Plain rice
3. Dhone pata chicken
Everything were good nothing exceptional.
Went for a small team lunch here on a Tuesday afternoon at around 2.30pm and the restaurant was almost full.
We ordered one Chingri thali, chicken dak bunglow, kasturi chicken, veg phulkopar korma and steam rice.
Food was good, but little oily that expected. Chingri thali had two pieces prawns malaikari and a veg dish with dal, pulav portion and plain rice portion. It was good.
Chicken Dak bunglow was really good with two leg pieces and rich gravy. Kasturi chicken had a unique flavour which was very tasty.
Overall food quality was good but quantity was little less. Veg korma was good but oily.
Service was satisfactory and quick. Total hit to the pocket was around 1200 for 3 people.
One of my favorite place to hangout..
Best bengali food u can find here..
Menu are really good and atmosphere is so friendly...
Favorite place
Quite a nice place for authentic bengali food. They offer a wide variety of flavourful good at a decent price . Unfortunately I dont have enough photos saved but I've pretty much tried everything here
Been here a couple of times. The food is really good, and there's ample variety in the menu. Prices could've been a bit lower, and the quantity could have been a bit incremented. Otherwise, the restaurant is easily accessible, and has a nice ambience.
Warm team of servers and chefs make this restaurant amazing food was delicious .i feel like home. Thank you chef you making a lovely food.
Will surely visit again
I'm a complete lover of this place when it comes to bangali food. I visit them quiet often and my go to menu is plain rice, moong daal, shukto, jhuro alu bhaja and khejur amsotter chutney. Have also tried their chhanar dalna which was average but their chicken dakbunglow is worth trying. 😊
I just love there food.. I have ordered basanti polao and chicken kasha from here and it was tasting just like home though the quantity is not enough 2 but still i love the quality and the price is also decent. Try with your family and I am damn sure you wil love it.
I usually rate on the basis of value for money and if the place is neat and clean, decor takes a backseat to food.
Had a lipsmacking mahabhoj with NRI friend drooling and purring.
Sholoana is highly appreciated for Bengali food. I took some time from my lazy schedule to visit this place today and I am not disappointed.
We are in 21st century and I believe this place couldn't upgrade itself with time. Decor is very average, things can be done.
Behavior and service of the staffs were amazing.
Coming to the food, was really good.
I ordered 1 plain rice, 1 yellow polao, Masala chicken, mutton duckbunglow.
A little seasoning of the mutton could make everything perfect. :-)
One of my favourite places to get some Bengali food. For me it is reasonable and tasty and I wait for the paan at the end. I love chicken Dak bungalow postor Bora various lentil that you can get and all the different typical Bengali food that is not being made these days in the households the surface polite the decoration is nice.
I went there for 2 times .
Perfect place for bengali food .
If you away from your home and missing 'Mayer hater ranna' then this can be your perfect choice .
Awesome food .
Nice bengali ethnic decoration .
Menu is full with authentic bengali dishes .
Just love the place .
Well I landed in Kolkata and someone took me here for authentic bong food .wasn't disappointed.
Tried the paturi bhetki ..the Chingari malai curry and chicken masala for main course.i loved the chicken and prawn as it was literally something I grew up eating at home.for dessert tried the mango Mishti doi and wowwwwwwwww was blown away.recommended
Situated on Prince Anwar Shah road, just 2 mints from south city mall. The restaurant is small. U May even feel clumsy or claustrophobic. But food is very nice. Price is also not much. We had mutton chop, rice, chhanar dalna, hilsa barishaler, chicken kossa. All were very tasty. Classic Bengali food. The restaurant is very popular. So u may have to wait to get a table. We were lucky to get one without waiting. ;-) But we couldn't have polao as it was already out of stock. :-(
But overall good experience. Very authenticate & tasty Bengali food.
I have been a regular in Sholoana Bangali for years. It's one of the best places for Bengali cuisines. The food is well portioned and at half the cost of the other more "well marketed" and fine dining Bengali resturants.
I was amazed to see the low Zomato score. Mostly negative about the ambience. Well this place isn't about ambience. It's a no frills establishment with good quality value for money food.
Coming to food, strongly recommend the Aloo Posto, Bhetki Paturi, Illish Posto and the Nolen Gur is Nirvana.
Awesome...food..! Perfect Bengali home like treatment by the restaurant...they also give a complementary dish!😍specially Nolen gurer ice cream, mutton dakbnglo and borishal er ilish😍
I was initially hesitant to go there as it doesnt look too inviting from outside. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The food was just lip smacking! We ordered bhaat, basanti polao, dal, aloo bhaja, mixed vegetable, bhetki paturi and mutton kasha. I liked each and everything that we ordered. Usually, most restaurants put lots of sugar in basanti polao. However, the one at Sholo ana bangali had a hint of sweetness, which elevated its taste. The mutton was soft and tender. It just fell off the bones. I loved the paturi as well. Overall, good food with a low pocket pinch(Rs 872 only) made it a memorable dining experience😊
if you have serious craving for authentic traditional bengali then perhaps this place is one of the best restaurant you can go to... i keep licking my fingers as the dishes were so deliciously lip smacking..
Soshtay pushtikor.. Typical Bengali mentality?! Oh yes!! This is the place! Whenever I come back to my home town, whenever I give a short treat to somebody of Bengali cuisine I choose to come here.

Kolkata means "bangali khawar". And when it comes to "bangali khawar" KOSHE KOSHA does the perfect job! Beat the heat with this refreshing Aam Pora Shorbot (in picture). We also ordered Basanti Pulao, Dim Kosha, Aloor Dum and last but not the least Aam chatni! We had a great lunch. Sholo Aana Bangali is a must visit.

First time at Sholo Ana Bengali... Its located just in a 5 minutes walk from South city Mall.. Though the place is kinda small but they serve good quality bengali food.. We ordered Mahabhoj Thali.. Based on the cost one Thali would not suffice two.. Staffs were okayish.. In this thali we get to choose our side dish from the menu itself.. Though we specified mutton.. They served us chicken. Later asking they answered they don't have mutton.. Without any prior information they served us chicken. When we complained they served us two xtra gorom rosogolla nd Papad..
It is first Ilish of this season and was amazing. I was doubtful regarding the size of the fish and seeing this very satisfied. The taste was really good. But as I am a typical bong who love more spicy, so I really felt a bigger amount of chillies were needed. Overall was a good Ilish treat for me.
Being a proud Bengali of Kolkata, Bengali dishes always makes me suffer from FOMO (fear of missing out) syndrome, hence missing out on Bengali cuisines is just next to impossible. And specially when it comes to Sholoana, bhuribhoj becomes just ultimatum. Sholoana not only shura craving of my tummy but even my heart too. An absolute place to experience Bangaliana ❤️
It's one of the reasonable Bengali cuisine you find out in Kolkata. Though there is not much to say about the interior and ambience ,the food were really mouth watering. Ordered ghee bhat ,basanti pulao, basmati rice along with alu poshto, navaratna, chicken kasa, pabda sorse, rajhsahi kalia, bhetkir paturi and chithol er muitha.
Also order phulkopir malaikari, chicken cutlet but these weren't available due to some reason.
More or less all the dishes tasted good but the chithol er muitha was not up to the mark and also the piece of the bhetki
was really small compared to the price
With moderate price it's a good Bengali cuisine....
This place is less decorative but their food comes with perfect taste...we ordered basmati rice dhokhar dalna and chicken kasha...they made it non spicy which is the best part..and amount of the food is also good...all in all I like it...❤
It was the day prior to Poila Boishak, the Bengali New Year, and we were in the mood for some traditional Bengali food for lunch. The Prince Anwar Shah Road outlet of the bengali cuisine chain Sholoana Bangali was found to be nearby and so we decided to try it out. There were already a group of people who were waiting for their turn to enter, and so we knew we would have to wait for ours. Thankfully, we did not have to wait too long to be given a seat. We have not been to other outlets of Sholoana Bangali before, so we would not be in a position to compare, but on a standalone basis, the interiors of this outlet appeared quite cramped. Consequently the interior ambiance of the outlet was not much to be written about. Coming to the food now. For our lunch, we ordered Bokphool Bora, Basmati Rice, Narkel Diye Mug Daal, Aloo Posto curry and Mutton Kasha. And for all the lack in space, this restaurant would compensate you more than adequately with the quality of food. Each of the items were very good and tasty. We have had Mutton Kasha at different places before, and we have had mixed experiences regarding the taste of the dish. But not here, since this Mutton Kasha has to be one of the best we have had. The mutton was optimally cooked and the softness obtained was just of the right balance, making it easy to chew and cut. And with it, was the great taste. We ended our lunch by having Misti Doi, which we would say, perfectly summed up our visit to this restaurant. The bill came to be around Rs. 640/- and so it is very reasonable indeed. So, we have had a great lunch here, and we recommend it for others to try. Saptarshi Sarkar
I have tried luchi, ruti, jumbo chingri, mutton kasha, paturi, basmati rice.. All dishes were well coocked. Mutton was coocked so well and that was so soft. Paturi sizes are enough good.
Its location is very convenient, just beside the South City Mall. I am quite a frequent visitor here and simply love their Bhetki paturi, chhanar daalna, basanti pulao, chicken duckbunglow, mutton kasha and definitely the Nalen gurer ice cream, especially on summer days. Price is also quite reasonable.
On the flip side, their management is bit pathetic as on a crowded day, you will find it difficult to get a table and sometimes it gets more delayed due to the lack of their management capability.
For Bengali cuisine, it is a very good restaurant.
Dab chingri and mutton duckbanglow are my favourite. Even the macher math diye Dal is delicious.
Aam pora shorbot is refreshing and yum!
Sholoana Bangali....
Located at Prince Anwar Shah Road close to South City Mall.
Ambience : Cosy and compact
Staff : Friendly, helpful and cooperative
Food : The food here is quite qualitative and quantative. Mocha Ghonto, Posto Bora Jhal & Kachki
Machher Jhal ( special occasional dish ), these are the dishes one should try for. Topse fry with kasundi is something to relish for.
Aam er chutney adds to a perfect end to the mouth watering dinner....
Pocket Pinch : INR 860/- for two exclusive of taxes.
I would recommend this place a hundred times for bengali food lovers...
good service.. good food.. pocket frndly. good decoration.. spacious. bengali food lovers must visit this place.. rly njyd a lot on my birthday.. topshe fry . mutton duckbanglow n basanti polao r rly awsm.
if you love typical bengali food then this place is a must try.what i loved most? it'd the "tel-koi".coming that from a non-fish lover it's kinda big deal ;)
Authentic Bengali restaurant located near south city mall..went to have Bengali dishes like Echorer Dalna,Bhetki Paturi,Parshe Maacher Jhaal ...all the dishes were perfect...and one more thing I would like to add is very very nice hospitality....keep it up...would love to visit again😊
Located at a quite a convenient place, this has quite a lot of space.
I had a prawn malaikari and Hilda. For dessert Nolen gurer ice cream was awesome. It was served with loads of gur.
Though I liked the taste of it, I really found the food to be over priced.
Food quality and quantity is medium and the interiors is not satisfactory. Though if you have less budget and wants to have bengali food this place is good.
Was there for lunch. The food was delicious, ambience was fine, but the restaurant is a little congested. Nevertheless, Bhetki fry and Dab Chingri were my favourite and is a must-try. Staff were friendly and cooperative as well.
Love the way they cook the "bhetki paturi", the food is awesome. A good place to dine out with your family, the menu is awesome and the prices are reasonable when compared to other restaurants in this class.
I think I am going there for the last 10 years..... All time favourite bashaniti pulao and dak bungalow mutton... Service can worked upon.... Rest all is ok.... Pocket friendly but availability is an issue... Must visit if you really like Bengali food, location is also very nice just beside south city mall......
Good authentic bengali cuisine tried Daab chingri ..was perfect, fish fry was good, mochar ghonto was good, mutton dak bangla was good, dal puris were nice, food is not oily n spicy. A couple on my next table..the girl tore apart the Daab chingrii unapologetically and so did I 😄
This is an easily locatable restaurant in Prince Anwar Shah road. I have been there twice. The first time i went there to have lunch was a bit dissapointing because they couldn't provide us the food we wanted to have(koturi, luchi, payesh and pati shapte). Then we ordered yellow polao, bhetki paturi and kosha mangsho. The bhetki paturi was amazing. Other items were moderately good.
Sholoana Bangali is a must visit for every authentic Bengali cuisine lover in town. Granted that we eat most of these food almost every day in our homes, Sholoana is the place to go if you're in the mood for old wine in a new bottle. We went there during the Puja rush, and though there wasn't any choice in the menu and everyone had to order the same thali, service was prompt and food was fresh. There was a huge amount of food with tons of varieties in only 750 rs. per head buffet. The Chingri Malaikari and Mutton Kosha were amazing, and their Rajshahi Aloo Dum is absolutely to die for.My only complaint was that the size of the Chingri was not consistent in all the plates. Otherwise, I'd visit this place again and again.
Sholoana Bangali, an out and out Bengali Restaurant serving some authentic Bengali food is a must visit for all those who are reading my review. Not only they provide a variety of recipes but they serve it with utmost love and care. This Durga Puja I went along with few of my friends and ordered the Non veg thali. Believe me they serve so much in excess that one thali can easily feed two people. The thali had bhat, Dal, shukto, alu bhaja, bhetki Mach er paturi, crab, chingri Mach er malakari, mutton kosha, pulao, chatni, rosogolla and that too for just Rs 750 each. So , all the non Bengali friends or those who are staying away from home and missing their homemade food ,this place is a must visit. The staffs are generous. Though nothing can compensate the 'ma ke hat ka khana' yet this would surely remind you or get you nostalgic.
Satisfied with my experience with Sholoana Bangali. 😊
My first impromptu attempt to visit a restaurant that serves BENGALI CUISINE. Went there with my friends, which is just few minutes away from South City and is just opposite to Habbibs
The interior accompanied by a low ceiling and a "tried to bring in" the bangaliana ambience is not bad!
The service was prompt but a lot of dishes were not there plus the quantity was not satisfactory
Food Oredered:
BASANTI PULAO: taste,👍
less quantity 👎
CHICKEN KOSHA: Taste👍
Less Gravy👎
Quantity 👍
MUTTON DAK BANGLOW: Taste 👍
Quantity 👍
Gravy 👎
TAWA ROTI : Quality 👍* with a zero figure 👎😑😑
Tasty food but overhyped! Ekbar jawa e jae banagali sentiment ta nea :p
So, walked in to this place located on Prince Anwar Shah Road right in between lord's more and Southcity Mall. We went in for a quick light dinner before going out for pandal hopping. Ambience of this place is good, but they could yet improve on the same. Staff Courtesy was Ok. What would enthral u is that fragrance of Bengali food all around and that bangaliana feeling, just perfect spice before pujas.
In food we ordered:
Yellow Rice- 4/5
Chicken Kosha - 4/5
Chicken Dak Banglow - 5/5
Tawa roti - 4/5 (They should try increasing the stocks for the same at rush times)
Fresh lime soda - 4/5
The overall experience was good but could have been better. I hope the management is working on the same constantly.
Hope to visit soon again for better experience.

Had the Durga puja special thali..was yum..except for the plastic spoons they gave..plus the bowls they served the curries in..food was great overall..the Golda chingri and mutton kasha were out of the world..bhetki paturi was so so..took an extra plate of each, rice, mutton and Golda chingri..price is quite high..
Been at this Bangali Food Restaurant on 2 occasions with office colligues. It is situated quite near to South City Mall and is allways almost full. Its not a huge place though. Have tried Basanti Polao, Muger Daal, Alubhaja, Mutton Kosha and Mutton Dakbunglow. All were equally tasty. The service was decent and quick. Surely a thumbs up for this place.
Ambience:3/5
Service:4/5

Value For Money:4/5
Overall:3.5/5
Best place for Bengali foods. The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the special prawns and fish items.
Convenient place. Awesome Bengali food. Pocket friendly. We had the perfect Bengali lunch: basmati rice, moong dal, gandharaj lebu, alu bhaja, chhankar dalna, eilish machh fry. No excessive masala content in the food. The home-cooked nature of the food makes this place worth a zillion visits. Would love to go back soon. Highly recommended for Bengali food lovers. The menu even has an elaborate variety for vegetarians.
PS: the rest 0.5 has been deducted due to the height and interiors of the restaurant. I am a tall person ;) and the ceiling was just about less than a feet above me.
Located near the South City Complex, by Prince Anwar Shah Road, this restaurant offers some typical and authentic Bengali dishes. I ordered half white rice with Ilish bhapa for myself for a quick lunch. The taste wise hilsa fish was very nice and I ordered the small one and was satisfied with the size. But the gravy was too less, and when I asked for more gravy, I was strictly denied, which was unexpected. Apart from that, the ambience was really good and stuffed with all Bengali traditional things. They have both thali and a la carte options available.
Good food, good service, you can eat any time.. Very much homely food
Sholo Ana Bangali saved me from starving. One of the well known best bengali authentic restaurant near South city complex, lake gardens, kol-32. Quality & tasty food available here at reasonable price especially the thali system is eye catching enough for two people. Theres not a good bengali restaurant anywhere in the South until I found Sholo Ana and I must say it was worth having lunch here.
Authentic Bengali food, and is great in taste . We even had nolen gurer ice cream which is not in frame . Make sure you try it out too , tastes great. The place is located in Prince Anwar shah road opposite to the 7th heaven Bakery shop . Most of our bangaliana gatherings are conducted in Sholo ana Bengali.
Food quality has deteriorated and more than half of the items on the menu are not available. Still chingri macher batichachhari was unparalleled. Posting photo of Kobiraji although I didn’t like it.
A good authentic bengali restaurant in Kolkata at an affordable and worth price range. This particular outlet has a small and cosy setup. Most of the items on the menu card were not available on the day I visited, not sure if that's a regular phenomenon or not. There were limited options to choose from, but undoubtedly those tasted great.

This restaurant is mainly known for its authentic Bengali dishes. It is situated near South City Mall. Ambience is good enough. Inside resturant is neat and clean. Hospitality of staff is appreciated. Apart from Bengali dishes they offer different types of Thalis also. Rate is little bit high in some dishes. They offer home delivery also. They accept both cash and UPI payment.
We ordered thali. Food was enough, actually more than enough. We were three and had a great time. The behavior of the people was awesome. We were more than happy with their food and hospitality.
The non veg thaali is mouth watering. All the dishes are well prepared. Luchi, cholar dal has an unique taste. Staff behavior is cooperative and helpful.
It's my second time with friends. And experience is pretty much same. I just love this food. Like any other bengali you have to visit there.
It's two minutes walkable from south city mall. I find the place is too much congested. Service is good. Employees working there are so etiquette. I enjoyed the food. I don't say price is reasonable but not that expensive. You can feel the hospitality from the gate itself.
Solo ana bangaliana is good for Bengali food ..fish dishes are too much delicious....feeling happy 😊
