This rooftop place is located near theater ac market. It's not much expensive according to the area. The staff is nice and ambience us really cool. Must try cheese kulcha,risotto,kebab platter and noodles. They could improve on the taste of the food a bit.
Best place to chill with a few drinks, awesome food and speedy service. I have been to Deck 88 a gazillion times because I love the vibe of the place - open air seating with mellow music in the background that is perfect for catching up with friends and family.
I usually stick to a simple beer so can't say much about their cocktails.
But I love a nice spicy meal or some good ol' hot kebabs when I am chilling with a beer, and Deck 88 has a vast array of options offering just that! I have almost tried their entire menu from their chicken tikka pizza, momos, rock chilli shrimp to their crumb fried chicken and masala peanuts.
My favourites: Thai Basil Chicken which comes with a side of rice, ALL their kebabs - I usually go for their kebab platters and both the veg, chicken and seafood platters are outstanding!

Had gone there on anniversary. As the name suggests it is an open terrace restaurant inside the astor hotel. Themed and decorated like a deck. The outdoor seating enhances the experience all the more. Great for a fine dining experience.

This is a beautiful place in Kolkata with an amazing ambience and beautiful interiors. They have a really good outdoor seating! The staff is very courteous. The food here is amazing and highly recommended! We ordered the Turkish borek and it was really nice, the dip could have been better. Addictive nachos was also really good, the guacamole was really well made. We had the mediterranean pizza and it's a must try. I loved the rissoto. One must try the lavender margarita! The paneer tikka was also really nice.

The Astor hotel is 100 years old heritage building standing tall at camac street giving vintage charm. Their rooftop restaurant has recently launched some new dishes in their menu. They serve hookah and has various drinks options to choose from. The ambience is to die for.
The food did not disappoint us and the large course of meal was tough to finish because I couldn't resist myself to try everything. The presentation was very neat with shows the love they put into it.
Some of their new dishes were Seafood pizza, kosha mangsho risotto, Mac n cheese, fried asparagus, Mezze platter, mutton burger, black rice and fish, chicken a la keiv etc. Apart from the new menu I also tried their mango cheesecake and it was the best.
The hospitality and service without a doubt was amazing.

Beauty of a place at night with those dim lights and soft music playing around. The Astor Hotel has this gem of a place inside their campus and they are wonderful. Location is very easy to trace and ambiance is so nicely made and looks so beautiful at night with the limited sitting capacity inside with air condition and an open terrace sitting under the beautiful moon.

Built in 19014, The Astor Hotel does have a lot of elegance & prestige attached to it's name. Recently, I had at visit at one of their Restaurant, Deck 88.
Speaking of Ambience, the place has a Rooftop ambience w/ both Indoor & Outdoor Seating, along w/ a Bar Section for people who are up for a Drink. I liked the decor here, it was minimalist but elegant at the same time. Service too wasn't an issue for us, for the staff were all quick, precise and friendly.
Coming to Food, I tried quite a few things from their New Menu & I liked pretty much everything that I had. Recommendations would be their Mutton Peppercorn Steak, Keema Mutton Risotto, Chicken Satay in Peanut Sauce, Red Rice w/ Tofu in Black Bean Sauce & Battered Asparagus.

A lover of open places from the beginning. With its astounding and calm ambience you will fall in love with this place too. Food is amazing and staffs are ethical. One of the perfect place to spend time with your loved ones.
Deck 88 has always been a favourite, as I have a weakness for open air places. The new menu there is pretty interesting, and I loved the Mutton Risotto with a desi twist.
Also, one of the few places where I liked the hookah!

The lounge is a small oasis , where you can escape from the din and bustle of the city life. Partly open air , the place is beautiful to say the least.
They have revamped there menu to include a lot of times and even for the first time included pizzas. There are many items to choose from , starting from the starters , the pizzas, the mezza platter , noodle and rice bowls , South Eastern Delicacies and drinks to enjoy with the menu.
Along with hukkah you can try some small bites like masala crispy corn and chick pea bhel , masala Papad katori chat .
They have introduced the Mediterranean Buddha bowl , a must try for those who are a little health conscious.
The pizzas which are newly added to the menu are a must try . They are thin crust and made from whole wheat. Try the bhuna mutton and Keema pizza.
How about trying asparagus but in a different way? Try the parmesan crusted garlic butter asparagus .
If you love Chinese or South East Asian delicacies , the elaborate menu even has that. Some of the items you need to try are Sticky Korean Chicken wings, Chowhan' s jade chilli chicken , rock chilli shrimps .
There are a variety of dips which you can order to go with your fries.

Their beverage section is yet again a stunner with exquisite mocktails & Refreshing cocktails.

I had the chance to visit an awesome lounge called Deck 88, located within The Astor. The open air ambience was perfect for a weekend evening and if you ask me about the menu, the chef has literally cooked up a storm!
They have introduced a whole range of Pizzas made from 100% Whole Wheat, along with several awesome items like Parmesan Crusted Asparagus, Mediterranean Buddha Bowl, Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce, Jade Chilly Chicken, Masala Crispy Corn & Chickpea Bhel, Masala Papad Katori Chat, Crispy Garlic Coriander Bekti, Crab Croquettes, Nasi Goreng, Egg Fried Rice with Kung Pao chicken and a super awesome set of dips which you must try.
Ambience and the staff are a perfect 10/10.

The outdoor seating area with greenery all around is truly soothing. They also have an indoor seating area.
So Deck 88 has made some excellent additions to their menu. The menu boasts everything that is, from kebabs to rolls, pizza, pastas and more. Pair the lip smacking food with excellent spirits or cocktails and have a gala time.

This is one of the hidden gems of Kolkata. This is an amazing place. The terrace on the 1st floor of Astor Hotel has been converted into a bar cum restaurant. The kebab platter is the best one here. I never had such delicious kebab in Kolkata. This place is worth a try.

Sun-kissed Sunday brunches are all we live for! Recently I was there at DECK 88 (The Astor Hotel) to enjoy a laid-back elaborate Sunday brunch and believe me, I found it hard to stay away from that live grill counter! Absolutely loved the live grills like Mediterranean spice infused grilled Kingfish, Garlic and lemon zest infused grilled prawns, grilled stuffed mushrooms, Coastal grilled chicken, and more!
And yes, the Sunday brunch at DECK 88 is value for money, having a huge variety of food and beverages, including Live counters and live grills! And I had also concentrated on the Live pasta counter asking them to prepare some Spaghetti Aglio Olio with shrimps for me! O boy, the chef prepared it so damn well!
I also liked the main course from the kitchen, like the Jalandhari Rarrah Gosht, Delhi wala Makhan Chicken, Jodhpuri Aloo Dum and the Subzi pulao. The Live waffle counter was another major attraction in the end and surely can’t be missed! The open-air ambiance of Deck88 and the colonial era architecture of Astor Hotel overlooking the open air dining area will surely help you create lovely memories. Btw you can get all these and much more at an unbelievable price of INR 999/- plus taxes, timing 12:30 to 3:30 pm on Sundays!

Deck 88 is a beautiful place on the rooftop of "The Astor Hotel" to relax and feel good. The pleasant ambience is exactly what you need in this hustle bustle in life. I love how the decor and seating have lot to do with wood. The look of the place gives a smart impression towards an old heritage charm with a fresh boost of modern interior works. The lights around especially in the evening hours just makes every moment spent feel so cosy and comforting.
Here the hospitality is very warm and welcoming. In both of my visits here i really liked the service. They are very prompt and helpful. The food was brought quite fast to the table inspite of a full house in the place. That is something very impressive.
The new menu has Tibetan Momos in Chicken n Prawn varieties. Mezze board,Chicken al kiev,Mutton peppercorn steak with roasted warm potatoes,sunny side up and roasted root vegetables. All of these and much more items will rock the menu here at Deck 88. My personal favourite's are the Chicken Satay as the strong flavours of Peanut Sauce is incredible. Every bite leaves you asking for me. I also like the Asparagus one as the outer crunch and soft shoots inside is a nice snack. Keep munching them and you will love it. Even the Crab Croquettes and Pizza's had rich flavours in it. Pizza's were nicely loaded with Mozzarella Cheese.
Along with all of these get yourself a nice drink and shisha to make make your time great.

The management was generous enough to give me the open air seating, instead of the usually closed space.They were very accommodating to every order that we placed and cancelled.Very hospitable and courteous staff and the food was top notch as well.Would totally recommend for small gatherings looking for a classy ambience (especially during winters)

Had visited this place during Durga Puja, so they had a special menu. Got to taste some Bengali type fish which was really nice. Aswome ambiance, obliviously at evening when it is the roof top of Deck 88. The mocktail and Kebabs are aswome in taste. Services are too good. Like the ambiance too much. So overall had a nice day for me over there. Keep it up.

We had just a small walk to Shakespare Sarani, suddenly i planned to go to Deck 88 When we saw the Astor hotel nearby, we went there basically to grab some good Cocktails and we was hungry to and we hop into the place. This place is Cosy enough and we decided to try continental here, and we ordered Grilled chicken with rose marry and i bet it was really awesome, for drinks we asked the waiter to suggest us their speciality in cocktails so he suggested is Pink Lady ( Though this is just a classic cocktail ) but we decided to go with that along with a Water Melon Martini both of them was perfect as per our taste buds. The Pink Lady make me a bit tipsy to😂😂😂.

This is a fabulous place to enjoy Food Drinks and Even Sheesha. Nice ambience we tried Vada Paw along with A Martini and a Kebab called Chakori Murg Kebab and it tastes good. This place is not that Pocket Friendly but the food or drinks they serve I think they worth it.
Looking forward to visit this place soon.

This place is located none other then one of the very old and renowned heritage hotels in Kolkata The Astor Hotel but the restraunt is basically new and it is a "Alfresco Bar" which means Open Air and we come to know this by the guy who was serving us and his name is Shantunu he is damn good and his service was promt.

A perfect evening. This place was in my bookmark for quite sometime. Went finally. Locted inside Astor Hotel which is a fine inn and a heritage hotel too. Service is too good. Like the name it gives a feel that the sitting is on a ship's deck. Sat on the open area. Ambience was charming. They have a closed area as well.
Ordered Seesha (double flovoured), a pint of beer, cheese garlic bread, non veg kabeeb platter & a cocktail. Taste wise all the items were good. Pocket pinch 2500 in round figure for the servings.

Best cocktails in Calcutta hands down with the perfect service, music and atmosphere. Love the whiskey sour there but the daiquiri is on point too in specific!
One of the few places in town where you may find an alfresco bar. Though it’s right in the middle of the city & not at a height but the way the set up has been done, the ventilation is good and the ambience is amazing.

Have been here for countless occasions and have each time loved this place. The reason behind its drinks and foods and the prices of the same. The services are unbeatable and so the persons there. The prices are all set up in line that there is no need for happy hours like other places. I have enjoyed my every occasions here at this place. Its one of the most enjoyable place for me- THE OPEN SKY EVENING, THE CROUD, THE SERVICES, THE SOFT LIGHTINGS, the all in one under the sky for the persons from youngsters to oldies. This is a place to visit in town.

Deck 88 is beautifully placed in The Astor Hotel, Bar & Restaurant, a midrange fine dine. Sitting arrangements are very unconventional with large couches and like sofas,,, relaxed dining with comfortable ambiance. Must try👍

A newly open house which serves you alcohol and food with a rooftop facility. The only thing which will impress you here is the ambience where you have music playing at the back, walls decorated with natural plants, and cool breeze blowing due to the air coolers present at the roof top. It has both indoor and outdoor sitting. Really enjoyed the service and a great place to spend time. However there no place where a couple can sit together side by side, one has to sit in front end and one at the back end with a distance of atleast 2 hands. Otherwise, great place for hanging with buddies.

Crispy conjee mushroom and Tandoori prawns are highly recommended one.. lastly you can end your meal with orange caramel custard.. Quality and quantity of food both are very good. Prices are reasonable.. service is so fast and staffs are so courteous

I have visited this place 9th and when we entered the place was Lil empty as it was too early to visit however the ambience is on point ..I liked the indoor and outdoor sitting both...they have live music also ...dry chilli chicken was tasty however few food items need to be added as there is less variety..staff behaviour is good 😊

Beauty of a place at night with those dim lights and soft music playing around. The Astor Hotel has this gem of a place inside their campus and they are wonderful. Location is very easy to trace and ambiance is so nicely made and looks so beautiful at night with the limited sitting capacity inside with air condition and an open terrace sitting under the beautiful moon.

The cocktails are great and the service is out of the world. Celebrated a birthday here recently and all the guests complimented the choice of venue. A little expensive for Kolkata standards but worth every penny.

Their beverage section is yet again a stunner with exquisite mocktails & Refreshing cocktails.
