Visited the place on 22nd October'23 (Saturday) for dinner on the occasion of durga puja saptami😋. Ordered special mutton Biryani @₹490 and Mutton Hanglaabari H*(5pic) @ ₹360. Biryani was pretty average but I liked the flavour of Mutton Hanglaabari H*. It was tasty and flavourful. Also had a conversation with the owner, he is very friendly and treating every customer with courtesy even though the restaurant was crowded and many people were waiting in queue. Overall the experience was good.

Yesterday we visited @hanglaatherium (lake gardens outlet) to try out their biriyani buffet & it was an amazing experience 😍. . FOOD REVIEW: 1) BUFFET MENU - Starters: Paneer Pakoda , Paneer Kebab , Chicken Tikka Kebab & Chicken 65 along with Mint Chutney. (5/5)🔥 . Main-course: Chicken Biryani with Aloo&Raita, Methi Chicken, Mixed-Veg , Dal , Steamed Rice , Naan . (4.5/5) ❤️ . Dessert: Gulab Jamun, Kheer (5/5) 😍 . They gave us a welcome drink (lassi) which was very refreshing. The starters were absolutely mouth watering 🤤 , the chicken biryani was too good , the chicken main course was ok & the gulab jamun with kheer was a treat to the taste buds 😋. Price : ₹549/- + GST per person.(Valid : Mon-Fri, 1pm to 4pm) Rating : 4.5/5 💯 . 2) Mutton Hanglabari : We ordered this item from the à la carte menu to accompany the biriyani or naan . The taste & aroma was good but the mutton was not soft at all .This is the only disappointment. Price : ₹360/- (5 peice) Rating : 3.5/5 😞 . Overall the biriyani buffet is a must recommended & the behaviour of the staffs were very good as well the ambience was small yet satisfying.

Have ordered food (mutton biryani with chicken pasanda combo) from the restaurant through zomato previously (from the garia branch) and was provided with really delicious food quality, well balanced spices flavourful biryani even the mutton and potato was tender and melt in mouth and was blended with the right amount of spices and salt. The chicken pasanda was also so good last time.(in December 2022) But sadly ordered food (delhi 6,cheesy chicken tandoori and two mutton biryani with mutton pasanda combo) for takeaway day before yesterday (7th January 2023) and was so sad with the food quality this time (from the Prince Anwar Shah branch) , the biryani was totally dry and bland,it lacked good amount of salt and spices, the mutton was tough and dry, the mutton pasanda was smelly. Loved the Delhi 6 and the cheesy chicken tandoori was also really good only the extra pieces of green chillies were too spicy for my taste but otherwise it was pretty good. Hoping to get better food next time. I love the quantity. Just longing for the quality of biryani I received from the restaurant on my first order,it had really set a mark for the restaurant themselves. Looking forward to delicious food next time too. 🌼 Editing again. Date: 29th November 2023. Visited for dine in. This time I was blown away and surprised with the food taste in such a good way. Ordered 1 plate Chicken Reshmi Kebab, 1 plate Special Mutton Biryani, Half Plate Mutton Kosha and 1 plate Green salad. The tender quality of mutton, the succulent creamy chicken kebabs and the mind blowing flavours were all amped up to such great heights this time. Can't wait to visit again.

The place of amazing tasted Biriyani especially with soft tender mutton pieces uniquely prepared, which can hardly be found in other places. Many of the items are so tasty at a very reasonable price.

Tried their 499 unlimited buffet. Nice decorations on the wall, but the sitting spaces are quite cramped. Previously tried biryani and Dilli 6 taste was very good. Now coming to the buffet biryani and the veg starters and main courses were tasty. Lassi as welcome drink was refreshing as well. Among the non veg starters chicken pakoda coating was very thick. And chicken kebabs were very salty. Chicken Qorma in the main course was lacking of any taste at all. In desert gulab jamun was too cold for my liking. Separately we tried fresh lime soda, which was good. Service was promt.

We didn't know that only one week days their biryani buffet gets served from 1pm-4 pm. Apart from that the staff behaviour was good and the food was pretty delicious. The hospitality they showed to us was pretty impressive.

It was a great experience in Hanglaatherium, the ambience and the behaviour of the staff was good. Coming to the quality of the food, the pulao and specially the mutton kosha was too good, it was beyond my expectations. I really enjoyed the food and it will be my pleasure to recommend Hanglaatherium to my friends.

Heard a lot of good review about this place.... But my experience was not that fair enough... The usual spiciness of biriyani was quite flat... The quality doesnot justify the price.... Mainly in case of the combos.... The chicken piece served is pretty decent though.... Overall... Quite disappointed ☹️

Food quality is not as good as it was used to be. We tried their Mutton special biriyani and Muttom hanglabari, both were ok. Portion was good and service was also fine. They also have buffet available.

When it comes to Indian cuisine, the combination of Garlic Naan and Chicken Malai Curry is a match made in culinary heaven. Recently, I had the pleasure of savoring this delightful duo at a local Indian restaurant, and I must say, it was an experience worth savoring. Let's start with the Garlic Naan. As it arrived at the table, the aroma of freshly baked bread and roasted garlic wafted through the air, instantly awakening my taste buds. The naan itself was a perfect balance of softness and slight crispness, with a beautiful golden-brown exterior. Each bite was an explosion of flavors, thanks to the generous spread of minced garlic and butter that adorned its surface. The garlic was not overpowering but added a rich depth of flavor that complemented the naan's simplicity. It was so good that I couldn't resist tearing off another piece after every bite. Now, let's talk about the star of the show, the Chicken Malai Curry. This creamy chicken curry was a luscious, velvety concoction that immediately warmed my soul. The chicken was tender and succulent, and it had absorbed the flavors of the aromatic spices and the creamy, mildly sweet malai (cream) sauce. The curry had just the right amount of spice to provide a gentle kick without overwhelming the palate. The blend of spices was expertly balanced, allowing the creaminess to shine through, creating a harmonious symphony of flavors. The pairing of the Garlic Naan with the Chicken Malai Curry was a revelation. The naan served as the perfect vessel to scoop up the creamy curry, allowing every morsel of chicken to be coated in the delectable sauce. The contrasting textures and flavors of the soft naan and the rich, savory curry created a delightful sensory experience that left me craving more. In conclusion, my dining experience with Garlic Naan and Chicken Malai Curry was nothing short of exceptional. The naan's garlicky goodness and the chicken curry's creamy, spiced perfection combined to create a memorable meal. If you're looking for a comforting and flavorful Indian dish that will tantalize your taste buds, this dynamic duo should be at the top of your list. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or a first-time explorer, this combination is sure to leave you craving for more.

I recently visited Hanglatherium, located near South City Mall at Lake Gardens, Kolkata. While the seating capacity is a bit limited, requiring some wait time, the overall experience was quite satisfying. The food quality was impressive, with their signature dish, Delhi 6, standing out as a must-try item. The Kolkata-style biryani was commendable in both quality and quantity. One drawback was that they served starters and the main course simultaneously, necessitating a relatively quick meal. Despite this, the overall dining experience was positive. The prices are reasonable, and the staff's behavior adds to the restaurant's appeal. A recommended spot for those looking for good food at reasonable prices in the area.

Visited the place on 2nd July'23 (Sunday) for dinner on the occasion of world biryani day😋. Ordered Chicken Biryani with Mutton Pasanda Combo @ ₹390. Biryani was pretty average but I liked the flavour of Mutton Pasanda which contains shredded mutton pieces in creamy white gravy. It was very tasty and flavourful. Also had a conversation with the owner, he is very friendly and treating every customer with courtesy even though the restaurant was crowded and many people were waiting in queue. Overall the experience was good.

Tried the weekday buffet here. It's really good with a welcome drink(lassi), two veg starters- veg pakoda & paneer kabab, two non veg starters - chicken pakoda & chicken kabab. In the main course there was chicken biryani, chicken kasha, alur dam, steamed rice and dal fry.The biryani was best among all the items without being much oily and chicken was juicy.Gulab jamun and rabri in the dessert section. Price is also reasonable 524 including tax. So if you are a biryani lover you must visit here in the weekdays to try unlimited biryani.

Overall a good place to eat. Let's talk about some of the Cons. A good place to eat, however the ambience is not top notch, tables are shorter and not at all comfortable. If you take a table for two, thats way too shorter than expectation. Very clumsy atmosphere. Pros. 1st Pro of the place is the Combo options. They are lot. You still can afford good foods/combos at a reasonable price. Moreover the taste of the foods are also good (not the best but yes good enough). If you like less spicy Biryani, then this place is for you.
