We tried their lipsmacking steamed momos and two types of noodles - mixed haka and chili garlic . Both the noodles were extremely tasty and it won't dissapoint you.
This place serves one of the best momos in Kolkata. The quality of food is really good. I ordered simple steam chicken momos and the chicken filling was really thick and tastes delicious. If you are a momo lover you must go to this place for at least once!! 😊😊

The place looked really amzing and very soothing for a date. But the light is too low for photography. It's not easy to click pictures of your food in here.
We ordered,
Pan fried Pork Gravy momos (135 INR) : Hands down the best pand fried Momo I've ever tried. Juicy and a little crispy. Perfect balance of tastes. Aptly filled and quite big in size.
Garlic Veg Fried rice (145 INR): plain rice toased with garlic. I like my fried rice to be filled with vegetables, but here the dish disappointed a little. But tasted quite nice, had a very mild smell of burnt garlic which enhanced the taste even more. Went really well with the pork and chicken dish we ordered.
Schezwan Chicken Gravy (200 INR) : Nothing like the schezwan chxken we're used to with. It had six pieces of chicken and the Gravy was decent, nothing extraordinary though.
Dry Chili Pork (180 INR) : I loved the combination of the rice we ordered and this Pork dish. Felt like they were made for each other. So much flavorful and perfectly cooked pork pieces toased with diced veggies. The only problem though, was the quantity which we felt ridiculously less. If we're giving 200 bucks, we can definitely hope for much more than what we had in our plates. Overall it tasted amazing.
P.S: The prices of the dishes have gone up by rs 20-30 more than the menu we have here in zomato.

Choose from among steamed and fried, Schezwan and pork, chicken and cheese momos... The quantity, however, could have been better.
The food quality of this place is amazing. The staffs are also very courteous. This place has too setup, the AC and the Non AC. Both the setups ambience is perfect. The place is also very hygienic. Surely visit this place.
Chinese cuisine lovers should definitely visit this place! They serve wide range of quality Chinese dishes within an affordable rate. The roasted chilli pork is beyond everything!
The pork momo is absolutely juicy. The taste flavour and smell is excellent. They have got a wide range of pork dishes.
Another chinese & tibetian restaurant I really wanted to try. It was a bit hard to find a table on new year holiday, we'd to wait almost 30-40 mins for a table. But they surprised me with the food. We ordered fried chicken & pork momo(one plate each), chicken fried rice & pork fried rice, Hong Kong chicken & schezwan chicken. Schezwan chicken was the show stopper to me. It was the best Schezwan chicken I've ever tried till now. Fried momos were also delicious. The only cons I'll mention that the tables were quite small. Overall a nice place to dine in. 🙂🙂

Walking distance from Rabindra Sadan Metro station and Exide More. Ambience is very good. Interior Decoration gives good vibe. They serve various type of authentic Tibetan food mainly famous for Momo.
We ordered Mixed Fried Rice, Chicken Hongkong and most famous Pan fried Momo ( with gravy ).
Amount of Mixed Fried Rice was sufficient. Chicken Hongkong was delicious and the Pan fried Momo(5 piece in each plate) was very tasty . Prominent service with friendly staffs behaviour.
Remark:
➡️ There were separate space for A.C and Non A.C area and they charge approx ₹20 extra for each item in Air Conditioned space.
➡️If you are going there by metro then use gate no. 3 of Rabindra Sadan Metro Station which is at minimum distance from the Restaurant.

This is one of the oldest placed serving tibetan food. This place is near Elgin road and is very famous. I love the chilly pork and the pan fried chicken momos from momo plaza. The chicken thukpa also tastes great.

A happening place which is very nearby to forum mall Elgin road...🙂🙂a place a full of variety of momos... various kind of thukpas are there also...and all those tates are good enough..😊😊😊❤️❤️ place is little clumbsy to manage..,, when it will get crowded customers will have to face some trouble to get the seats.. apart from that...food quality is awesome to have..❤️🥰🥰🥰in there momos they have the authentic Chinese and tibetian taste..🥰❤️❤️😍😍

Been to this place a lot of times. The outlet is just opposite of Chai Break or at the end of the straight road opposite of Brand factory. The foods are of cheap price and the taste is awesome. It is a hidden gem which provides with both Chinese and Tibetan cuisine.. Just love their different momos and pork dishes ❤️ If someone wants to fill their appetite at cheap price, then this is the place.

As the name suggests, they serves an awesome Chinese and Tibetan cuisine. This is a very popular restaurant and very old in town. The most important thing is that it is very much affordable. I personally loved their heavenly tasting momo!!
But other dishes are also equally good. Value for money is also applicable.
All over it was a amazing experience out there!

Since 2015 I have been visiting this place regularly. Never really thought of reviewing the place. But this time I thought people should know about Momo Plaza which is one of the fantastic restaurants in Kolkata where friends can hang out even in the end of the month because the price is very very reasonable here. The quality, quantity everything goes perfect according to the price. I love this place.

This place has some varied range of Momo and Chinese cuisine to choose from. This place is quite famous for some of its juicy and lip smacking dishes.
They have some decent amount of seating space with less decorations or decorative Ambience.
Their quality of food is more important to them.
We tried their
Pan fried Momo - I don't know why but this pan fried momo tasted somewhat has a hint of sweetness in it, which is usually not their in this particular style and which I don't prefer at all.
This is okay for me.
Steam Momo - But steam Momo or the classic momo was damn tasty.
Had big 5-6 pieces of chicken momo which tasted absolutely juicy and perfect.
The quality of the food and their service was very good.

MOMO Plaza is a tibetan-cum- chinese food joint located at Elgin Road, very close from Rabindra Sadan metro gate no 3.
The restaurant is divided into two sections: AC & Non-AC.
The food prices in the AC section is 10-20 rupees higher as compared to the Non-AC.
If one is looking to taste sumptuous chinese or tibetan dishes at pocket-friendly rates, then this is the place to be in.
I have been regularly visiting this place from the last 3 years and have tasted almost everything in their menu ranging from steamed, fried, pan-fried momos to thukpas to fried rice to noodles(hakka & gravy) and a lot more.
The place is clean and hygienic and is very popular among college goers and couples with some families visiting too every now and then. Staffs are attentive and cordial as well.

I have been going to this restaurant for 5 years now. It is located opposite chai break at a walking distance from Sadan metro. The staff is attentive and cordial.
They serve amazing tibetan food. Momos are priced from Rs.85. The panfried momos and thukpas are my favourite from here.
Food quality and quantity is good and the prices are inclusive of taxes. Highly recommended!

This is a gem located near Rabindra Sadan metro gate 3. The place is small and has both AC and Non AC section. The prices of the AC section is 10 rs extra than the Non Ac section. If you're looking for good Chinese foods without burning a hole in the pocket, then this is the best option for you. Before visiting I was worried about the quality of the foods. But surprisingly quality of the food was excellent and each dish was very fresh. Quantity is sufficient for two people.

Momo Plaza is a small eatery in Elgin road(near Pandit Hospital) and is the perfect place to try out authentic tibetan delights at cheap prices,thus making it a favourite place for college goers.
In frame:- 1.Dry Chill Chicken and Dry Chilli Pork(Rs.170/- each) [4.5/5].The succulent chicken really does wonders.The pork was on the other hand was a bit chewy.....Nevertheless both tasted how it should taste like, spicy and flavourful.
2. Chicken Steamed Momo(Rs. 95/- per plate)[5/5].The momos here are an absolute pallate cleanser. Taste it and you will know what momos should taste like.The icing on the cake is the their special momo chuntney which strikes a perfect balance with their momos.
The staff was also very courteous and the service too was fast.....thus overall I would give it a perfect score....5/5.

This place is very very old hence the interiors are not great but yes it's well maintained atleast. They do serve authentic momos at the very reasonable price. We also tried their dry chillie chicken which tasted good too. One visit is recommended.
Hands down one of the best places for momos and really cheap too! Their sauces are really unique. Also love their dry chilli chicken. They’re known for their pork dishes so do try them out if you love pork!

A pretty old place and a very nostalgic one too for me because this was our go to restaurant during school days when saving pocket money for a momo treat gave us immense happiness. Their momos are just amazing be it simple steamed momo or fried or pan fried(dry/gravy as you wish!). Coming to other dishes, they are good however not amazing... the dragon chicken and thukpa are really awesome though..the quantity they give is huge.. Overall good place with good food at reasonable prices. Recommended!
I absolute love their Pan Fried Pork Momo as well as the Steamed Pork Momo. The momos are really big in size. Momo Plaza is pocket friendly.

This place use to one of the most visited places when I was in college its located just near the 3rd gate of the metro. This place is mainly famous for momos as you can figure out by its name. It's a bustling place.

This place is just a favourite for college students and shoppers who come at Elgin to visit the nearby shopping malls.
We have been here numerous times and all I can tell you is you can surely suffice your hunger at ₹400 for 2 people very easily without compromising on the hygiene or on taste at any point.They have revamped the ambience too to a considerable extent that makes this place way better as a budget eatery.

Other items like Chicken Chowmein,Chilly Chicken,Chilly Pork,Chicken Drumsticks,Chicken Fried Rice are equally good. This place is near to my school so I've visited it numerous times. The place is extremely pocket friendly. They have both ac and non-ac seating arrangements.
This a small Tibetan joint near the Rabindra Sadan metro exit. It's neat and clean. We tried the pan-fried gravy momos. The momos were bigger than the ones usually served. They were properly coated in gravy and the filling was well made. It was wrapped well as made and was fortunately not thick, as most momos end up being. Taste wise, it was excellent. Would love to try more dishes there.

It's located right nearby rabindra sadan metro. The outlet is pocket friendly with decent food. We ordered chicken cheese steamed momos alongwith mix fried rice and chilli pork. They serve momos with a clear soup and an array of chutneys. Momo's were decent in size and tasted quite good alongwith the soup. The fried rice quantity is good for two and the pork was tender. It's a dimly lit interior and can get stuffy during peak hours. The staff was kind enough.

It is a pocket friendly food zoint. Last time I ordered for chicken steam momo, drums of heaven, nasi goreng and sweet and sour fish, total bill was approx rs. 850. Foods were more than enough for two people.
Drums of heaven was the best one. But momo is okay type, not so good.

You get only food like this in Kolkata. The quantity and quality in that price is unbelievable. Excellent Tibetan food. Only drawback is in this extreme heat the AC was not working and it is quite a bummer to have those extremely delicious momos in 41 degrees. We had 3 plates momos, gravy and hakka noddles, chicken and pork chilli and the bill was 1600/-. Unbelievable.

Couldn't get an AC seating but that's alright, one of the best momo places in Elgin.
Momo plaza is one of the oldest Momo joints in Rabindra Sadan area. Momos are as usual very tasty. I love their steamed momos and pan fried momos.
The only problem with this place is that the no of seats in the AC room is very limited and the seats outside are good but it's very hot and humid there.
The service is also delayed when footfall is High in the evening.
Nice joint near Rabindra Sadan, serves variety of Momos, Soups and other items. They serve pork as well which tastes quite good. Taste is good 👍 and people must give it a try if they Re hovering nearby.

Truly a hidden gem in Bhawanipore area, the food is delicious, the portions generous. Service is a bit slow but one can tell that the food is fresh out of the oven. Excellent kothay and steamed momos. The place and the few adjoining ones were the go to places for Tibetan food in the 90s. While some newer insta friendly joints may be garnering more eyeballs, the quality still reigns supreme here.
