Lovely sweet shop. Will go again
Banchharam is one of the oldest sweet shop in Kolkata..they serves delicious sweets and some snacks also...i personally love baked langcha and komolabhog. The prices are also resonable here.
This brand is already a connoisseur in Bengali sweets. Recently I bought some sweets from there. The Brownie Sandesh tasted amazing. The perfect crunch and ruggedness of a brownie punched into the subtle sweetness of a sandesh, I loved it. A must try.
Among the sweet shops I love this outlet the most. I'm a big fan of Bancharam. Their food quality, staff's behavior, price everything is so adorable. I like 1) Mihidana Tart 2)Soan papdi 3) Butterscotch Sandesh 4)Pantua a lot & lot. I'm highly recommending.
Great Vegetarian Food Joint which serves eggless cakes, muffins, awesome bengali mishties, pies, and other veg. savouries....
My all time favourite items of Bancharam are:
1) Mihidana Gulabjamun slice
2) KesarBhog
3) Indrani
4) Gurer mishti
5) Butterscotch Sandesh
6) Chinese Baked Samosa
7) DahiAlooPatties
8) Paneer breadroll
9) The blueberry muffins
Any good place with good sweet dish deserves a 10/10 from my side....
On my last visit to kolkata, I was passing by and had some sweets here. They are having a lot of varieties of sweets and some other typical bengali snacks too. I was very satisfied here. The sweets looked very attractive and I intend to be back. Service is fast.
I like sweets. That's why it's a near about regular visit at BanchhRam's . Generally I go there to have the big Pantua. Others of my likings are Pera , Aamdoi , kaju barfi & baked rasgolla . The fav part of this branch is they take Paytm cash 😁.
This has been my go-to sweet shop for years now. Love each and every item on their rack. The aam doi and the tarts are my favourites. Being a fan of mildly sweet items I love their two in one flavoured sandesh and Nolen gur sandesh. Their savoury items like the Paneer Roll & the Samosas are absolutely delish. Also they have the best ghee in town & smells so pure. They've also started selling muffins for a while now. This is definitely one of the most famous sweet shops in the city of joy competing to hold it's position in the top charts for quite some time now. The pocket pinch is slightly high but the quality makes it worth it. The store is very clean and hygienic. Though sometimes the staff could be a little more courteous and polite. Apart from that, no complaints at all. Love all the sweets here, from Rasgullas to Barfi. They sure does proper justice to my sweet cravings.
I am a sweet lover. This is a very nice sweet shop. Good collection of Sandesh and Snacks. You can pay through cash or Paytm. My favorites are Mihidana Tart, Baked Rosogolla, Lyangcha, Chitrakut and Jolbhora Sandesh. Try the Rosogilla, Pantua, Aam Sandesh and Motichur Laddoo. You can also get Kaju Barfi here.
For snack items, go for Veg Chop, Singara, Khasta Kachori or Paneer Puff.
You can also buy Ghee and Nalen Gur from here.
Located in Jodhpur Park footpath if you head towards dhakuria from Jadavpur. Very good Sweet outlet and veg snacks. Their Mango Doi is a must try which is available only during the mango season. The price is rs 30/-. Kaju katli, Khirkadam and baked Rashogolla are my all time favourite here. Very clean and well maintained.
Banchharam is a place where you will get different varieties and quality sweets. This outlet is located in Jodhpur Park on Gariahat Road.Motichur Laddu is one of their finest items,it's terrific in taste. Barfis are enjoyable as well as Sonpapdis.Chocolate flavour sandesh you can try. There is an item called ''Kalojaam'',it's excellent, must try it.
One of the best sweet brands of Kolkata, located at Jodhpur Park, Kolkata.
Nice & clean ambience.
Service is good.
Tried their Mihidaana cake & Baked Sondesh. Both were fresh & delicious.
Pocket pinch is reasonable as per quality.

Nothing much to write about this brand - one of the best quality sweet brand that has grabbed its market after Balaram Mallick. Sweet delights are simply yummy and innovative specially the baked mihidana cheese cake - one of the additions during recent days. Always crave for their wide variety of assorted flavoured sandesh.
Banchharam's Paneer Roll is the best in the world. It's soft and juicy with the delightful flavours of capsicum and ghee creating wonders to your palate.
Also, their Mihidana Cake is to die for. It's a layered dessert with sponge cake, topped with a block of mihidana, topped with kheer, topped with sliced gulab jamun and garnished with slivers of almond. All of this for just 20 rupees.
Do visit and try these items.
Situated near jodhpur park in gariahat road crossing. Banchharam sweets were the most delicious sweets of kolkata. This outlet was decent sized. Décor was same bright golden lights and rich classy ambience. Hospitality was very nice. Friendly staff and quick service. Price was pocket friendly. I tried their Anjeer Barfi it was tasted heavenly. Became my personal favorite barfi from now onwards. Must visit outlet. Personal favorite. Recommended.
Fusion Mishti galore! Being a Bengali to the core it's taken that one will possess a sweet tooth and one may go to even extreme measures to satisfy the daily sugar cravings. Banchharam boasts of a wide variety of fusion sweets..where Nolen Gur meets Baking goodness to create arrays of absolute delicacy. My favourite of them will include their aam doi which come in adorable terracotta kulhads, baked thekwas and their mihidana tarts, the scrumptious radhaballavi and khasta kachories. As far as I'm concerned calories can take a backseat, the dessert loving Bangali has yet to conquer several more lands!
A friend of mine gifted me some sweets from this particular outlet(lanchha, a type of khir kadam and another sweet whose name i forgot when my friend told me). The khir kadam was good, the lanchha was a bit on the sweeter side. I didnt like the last one; it was some mango flavoured sweet i guess which wasn't good at all.
Banchharam is one of the prominent sweets store in the city serving quality sweets. Their prices are normal. Place is very clean and sweets are presented beautiful in the store.
Banchharam is one of my place for Laddu and Rosogolla. I do love their Laddu a lot. Good in size. Tastes extremely good.
Banchharam sweet's is one of my favorite among others. They have opened several outlet in last couple of years.
This joint is located near selimpur crossing.
Loved their baked rosogolla and singara....
Banchharam has been identified as a premium brands among the sweet shops in the city.
The city of sweet lovers have always loved quality products even if it is priced a bit higher than the usual.
This outlet is located at Jodhpur park can be seen from the main road is loaded with variety of sweets and skilled staffs to advice you on the products. Recently got some sweets for a pujo at friends place nearby which turned out to be fresh and good in taste. ALso to mention about the cleanliness of the outlet is commendable.

People love the mishtis of Banchharam but I prefer their Paratha with the sumptuous Aloor Torkari. It is so good. Post that a pantua or lyangcha would definitely make your day. My suggestion would be go to Banchharam one day and try my proposed menu and you will thank me twice! Happy Dining! :)
Truth be told, their parathas are delicious, but the price is a little on the expensive side. The sweets are yum, and they are quite neat and there are varieties of them, which are quite unique. So, Banchharam is just the right place for you for a rainy day snack break, close to the Salimpur Jodhpur Park, crossing.
this is my most favourite sweet shop in kolkata.
i love their mishti doi, paneer rolls, kochuri torkari, chocolate sondesh, gulab jamun and mango sondesh.
tried their sweets and snacks a lot of times.
it can be a must visit for all !
'Banchharam' is very popular in Kolkata as well as in other states for their delicious and high quality sweets. I have visited Banchharam only once before. This was my second visit. This outlet is located at Hitech More in Jodhpur Park beside Desi Mehak and Domino's Pizza. The visit was not pre-planned, I was just crossing it and thought of having something from here. The outlet is very clean and has a plethora of sweet and savoury items. I tried the paneer roll first. This paneer roll was delicious. The outer coatimg was made of a bread batter, which is a welcome surprise as it tasted way better than the normal besan batter. It was stuffed with cottage cheese, coriander and herbs. It was delectable. Next, I tried the Kalojam. The outer coating was comparatively tougher than what I have tasted before. But it was delicious. The staff is well-behaved. I will definitely visit again.

Located near to Dominos and Desi Mehak, this outlet of Banchharam at Jodhpur Park is an easy find. One of the popular sweet brands, not only in Kolkata but in many other states, I have always been a fan to them. Banchharam literally saved my time at Bengaluru, when I could not keep up to the likes of K.C. Das. Try their Roshogolla here or the Baked Mihidana. The Malai Chom Chom and other liquidy sweets also tastes great. The price is somewhere in medium range, not too high, neither too low. However, they maintain their quality pretty well and hence justify the price they charge for it.
They have gone beyond the traditional mishti and have incorporated foreign techniques to elevate their mishtis to a level higher. And yes, they have innovated and modernized mishtis more than just doling out chocolate sondeshes.
Their MPS or the Mihidana Pantua Slice and the Mihidana Tart are two of my favourites. Also they retain the originality of many mishtis, and my eternal love for gujiyas draw me to them like a moth to fire.
Well one of the renounced and established sweet meat shop in Kolkata.
I often visit the lake market outlet, here in Jodhpur park last week was my 1st visit!
Tried something pithe (sorry forget the name) and mihidana-pantua-bread cake (this one totally different and good to taste)
But I prefer most 'Gorom roshogolla', Malai chom chom, Chitrakoot, Mishti Doi and Amitty .. 😋😋
They are doing some interesting things and experimenting with traditional Bengali sweets.
The baked sandesh was a nice surprise but if you're in the mood for more traditional sweets, they do the langcha really well.
Sweet , a sweets shop on the main streets of Jodhpur Park .
Chocolate Brownie at the extraordinary .
" Fried limping me posayeni too .
Sandesh assorted sweets and juice to come back to again and again . :)
To describe it in one word, I'd use this one - perfect!
Don't miss the sandesh (classic Kolkata dessert), especially the 'Aamshotto Sandesh' and the 'Baked Mihidana Tart'.. Enough to make you want more.
A wide array of sweets are available. You would love to try different type of sandesh. .. I love all the sweets on display...... sometimes I try there alternate sweets
This place is a piece of heaven on earth. The ambience out here is quite sophisticated. But my personal favourites from this place are sondesh , goja and mihidanar tart.
This is my favourite sweets shop as far as patishapta is concerned. I also enjoy their notun gurer shondesh, dry sweets and rasgulla. Whenever i go to take some sweets for my home, I definitely try their other sweets. Also i like their salty snacks.
While the kaju barfi, rosomalai and paneer rolls taste exquisite, Banchharam is my go to place for a filling meal of radhabollobi and alu. Located on the main road, it is easy to spot and the freshness of the sweets contribute majorly to a wonderful stomach-softening experience.
This place is situated at jodhpur park area. Easily noticible as it is placed right beside the main road. We all know about the reputation of bancharam. My family always prefer bancharam for any occasion starting from birthday party, bhai phota to marriage anniversary and wedding purpose. Recently visited this place with my friend. Had mihidana tart(my all time favourite). Tried patisapta with kheer. Though it was too sweet for me but still it is good.
Visited the Jodhpur Park outlet for the first time. The interiors have been done up quite tastefully. The place is air-conditioned-a must for sweet shops according to me,squeaky clean. The variety of sweets on offer is pretty decent.Apart from the usual rosogolla, gulab jamun mishti doi they do have their staple share of fusion sweets.I tried out the ice-cream sandesh and the soan papdi. The name -ice cream sandesh was enticing enough for me.Had not tried it before thus gave it a shot.Basically nothing special but a sandesh variant of the two in one ice cream. The sweet is delicate and meant to be had after storing in the refrigerator. The soan papdi was nothing special, was slightly dry and flaky.Prices are on the expensive side.Lowest price of a sandesh is at Rs 12/- for the soan papdi while the ice cream sandesh is priced at Rs 15/-.Do drop in if you suffer from sweet cravings once in a while.
I Looooooooooooove sweets and Bancharam is the super place... New new type of sweets everyday.., i don't worry about what will happen to my weight, i love sweets... The best place to buy any sweet..
Yesterday tested malpoya. Really taste awesome. Will visit today again.
Well honestly speaking I am not too much in love with sweets so visiting this one isn't that frequent. The sweets I feel off late have deteriorated and price too seems excessive. I had tried the chocolate toast because of its unusual name but sadly the taste was like normal chocolate flavoured sweet and nothing lip smacking or unusual. The mishti doi is quite nice and can be tried. The inside of the shop looks reasonably clean and hygienic.
Overall I would say I find this one average but can be tried if you are eager. I would rate it 3.5 and hope their sweets improve in taste and quality.
Every time the tooth fairy came to visit me when I was a baby, she would leave me with a "sweet-tooth". After 30 so of the fairy's visits I am proud to announce that she left me with a fab set of "sweet-teeth".
I indulge these regularly at every chance I get and one of those chances brought me to Bancharams.
The shop screams " I
Visited Banchharam's Goriahat yesterday and bought some sweets . No doubt they tasted so good as always. Their dry sweets like Sondesh with wide range of flavors like - Date Sondesh, Strawberry,Chocolate,Gur. Gurer Taal Saansh, Gur Balls are so delicious. Bought some Peda too and Misti Doi is a Must try. There are different types of Salty Snacks available too like Chips, Namkeen , Soan Papri wow.
Located just where the bridge ends at Golpark. Still in a hidden location to be located clearly. Was around for some Rolls and saw this place near me. As i was in need to so bought some of their sweets as well. To be honest i have tried 2 outlets before but this was the best of em all. Sweets were excellent no doubt as they were fresh and mouth watering, staff were very active and prices are pocket friendly. Recommended
Recently visited this sweet shop near Ekdalia. A wide range of sweets. Price starts from Rs 18. Apart from sweets Radhaballavi, paneer roll, singhara, chanachur, ghee are also available. Taste was too good. All the sweets were fresh. Thumps up for the quality. The staffs were also co-operative minded.
Good place for buying sweets ,quality & hygienic
Don't like the sweets here much apart from some but lovedddd the misti doi
One of the best sweet shop in kolkata. The sweets are really good in taste.I tried choco strand and also I tried others. All are very delicious. There service were also good.Highly recommended.
Sweets and snacks are supremely tasty, good, innovative & with a wide range available. The Shop is hygienic but much too small and cramped for space. Shop is best for take aways and not proper for eating on the Shop premises.
Its between golpark and gariahat. Shop is not visible properly from bridge but local people used to know the same. This brand for sweet is very good no doubt...price is at per there quality.
Best sweets they have ever.
Sweets are of good quality but service is sometimes slow because of gossiping between staff.
In my view one of the best Sweet, Snacks shop in Kolkata and Howrah. Just unbeatable. Each and every sweets are unique in taste, good quality of milk products use without any compromise.
A bit over-priced, still sweet and snacks are good. Please try Singara or Samosa here. A real Bengali taste.
