Pocket friendly, well new normal measures, sanitization door, disposable plates.
This was my first time here. I was a bit skeptical about the place seeing the negative reviews on google but trust me when i say, i had THE best meal of my life here. Ambience is good and staff is very polite and professional. The price is on the higher side but i feel that is justified by the quality of food and service.
A great place to dine in with family. They serve awesome multi cuisine delicacies
I have visited this restaurant couple of times but this time I thought to make a review. This restaurant has 2 floor seating arrangement. During holidays or festival, this place remains jam packed. I Went there with family and we ordered 2 types of cuisines i.e. Bengali and Chinese. The stuffs were Plain Rice, Yellow Dal, Rumali Roti, Paneer Butter Masala (Half), Chicken Fried Rice (Half) and a Fish item. Order was served in 20 mins. For Bengali food, banana leaf was placed in the plate before serving which was nice to see.
Portion of rice and dal seems less but it was enough for 1 person. I didn't tasted the fish curry but it was very oily. 3 pcs were given (boneless). Consistency of the gravy was thick.
Rumali Roti -
It was very huge as expected and soft indeed. No hardness as chewing was easy. Tasted good with side dishes.
Paneer Butter Masala -
I thought half plate will be good enough for me but it didn't expected such quantity which later become difficult for me to finish. 4 very big pcs of Paneer cubes were given which were not less than 8 regular pcs. Paneer was fresh and soft and they were slightly fried before preparation with the gravy. Gravy was very thick and had slight sweetness and creamy flavor which made me full early and it gave best taste with Roti. It is a must try Paneer dish.
Chicken Fried Rice -
Once again I was taken by surprise by the quantity as the half plate seemed to be a full plate. This quantity can be shared between 2 person (given that no one is extremely hungry). It contained lot of stuffs such as shredded chicken, scrambled egg, carrot, beans and spring onion. Oil was very less which was apt. Taste was good and the stuffs in each bite made the taste and food enjoyable.
It was a great experience once again. This restaurant is my first choice in terms of food. Price is moderate but food is totally worth. Staff was good. This restaurant is located at Sarat Colony Bus stop in Birati More.
I hv tried many Items from this restaurant....and It is just awesome and delicious to eat every item in tandoor, indian dish...their special item is velcon chicken according to me....last time I hv taken tangri Kassa and tandoori chicken... experience was awesome...
Went with family and had a great time. Great food with a lovely ambience. However, there was slow service. Would visit again for sure.
This place truly a hidden gem. We have tried their chili chickn, manchurian chickn, valcon chicken, Rambo chicken scezhwan chicken, paneer pulao, fried rice. Each n every item is so tastefull nd perfectly cooked. This place is worth every penny u spend. They r affordable their services r quite fast nd courteously behaviour everything is so perfect about this place..
This place is very easy to locate as its just on the main road between Birati more and Sarat Colony more. It's a two storied restaurant which is famous more for its bengali and north Indian dishes. I have visted this place quite a lot, but recently had Mixed Fried Rice, Fish Manchurian , Chicken Biryani and Khasi Mangsho. The quantity they serve has always been great. The service was a bit slow but the price is reasonable. Moreover I have ordered food quite a time from this place.
Very nice decorations and also the arrangements are very charming.
Adorably the food ia very nive, the quantity is also good.
Near to Airport and home delivery facilities are also available.
I have been here many times and this is one of the restaurant where I come often.
The food they serve is just awesome in every way. Their food's taste, quality and quantity is really very good.
Every dish they serve, that is, Chinese, Mughlai, Bengali are perfectly cooked and is delicious to taste.
I have ordered the following dishes from this restaurant -
From Starters - •Fish Fingers •Chicken Pakora •Paneer Pakora • Chicken Tangri Kebab
Bengali Main course - •Rice •Mixed Dal •Alloo Jhuri •Sukto •Bhetki Paturi •Mutton Curry
Mughlai Main Course - •Special Chicken Biriyani •Special Mutton Biriyani •Mutton Do Piyaza (side dish)
Chinese Main course - •Bhojohari Special Fried Rice •Schezwan Chicken •Manchurian Chicken
My all my saviour when guests come with no notice n to handle my mood swings. With a pure bengali ambience soothing bengali song tunes serves mouth watering bengali cuisins as well as great chineese too. Their presentation is also good. My all time favourite a must try bhajohori special fried momo 😊 n bhajohari specialhakka noodles. There service is good n delivery is swift. The staff behaviour is too friendly and their delevery boys are also well behaved.
It is a great place ....amazing food... you should definitely dine in here....great ambience soft music...it is always my top priority restaurant and also the favorite of my family for the mesmerizing special Bengali food...
This place is located near dumdum air port and they have really a very good bengali traditional cuisine... my recommendation would me to have "basonti polau" (yellow polau) with chicken do-peyaja...trust me it's a heavenly combo... and i will also say that ask them to not make the do-peyaja very spicy or else it won't go that good with polau so i always asked them to make it less spicy and they always did that... definitely visit and try out their delicious cuisine ❤️

I have visited the nagerbazar branch numerous of times and its mutton is awesome ...I just love it...it's chanar dalna is finger licking good
One of the oldest and best restaurant of Birati. This restaurant is a emotion for many people in this area. The reasonable price and awesome food is the main reason for their success.
Good quality of food with great ambience. Items are authentic and tasty too. service is perfect. But the quantity of food is just less than perfect. Also the value for money is a bit high.
Food quality is so good and very grate ambiance, also service is very good. I like bengali food like bekti macher patri, daav chingri, michael ghono also I like boild momo. Must try those recipe s
Famous restaurant and a good place for hangout. The food is very good here, dining is also great and service is awesome.Their speciality is Chinese and Bengali food.

We have been there about 2 weeks ago, the place is nice. Nicely decorated, and quiet place. Food quality is nice, we ordered Mix Fried rice and Mashroom Chicken, they tastes really good. And their special Curd, that tastes really good(though we found a hair inside of it). Over all this place is nice to visit with friends and family.
I had problems with food quality earlier in this restaurant. Being close to my house I usually ordered often. Neither the order experience nor the dining experience was that great.
However, recently the food quality has improved a lot. Our last dining experience was actually nice. The bengali dishes were properly cooked and service was really prompt. If this restaurant can maintain this quality and service they will go far.
Ordered food: Katla Kalia, Alu Posto, Koraisuti diye Mug Dal, Chicken Kosha, Rice
Food Quality: 4/5
Service: 4/5
Decor: 3.5/5
Fish cutlet in starter and 'Basant Pulao' and 'chicken dukbunghlow' in lunch. Nothing else could be better for a bengali to have such food in a rainy day. Maintaining hygiene with the best quality of food.
I have been to this restaurant, even ordered home delivery many times now. The quality of food and the efficient service is commendable. The dishes here are delicious! The kebabs, gravies, rice based dishes, Bengali cuisine.. everything that I've had from here is absolutely yummy. Also the price is quite reasonable..an added bonus. 😊

I have been to bhojohori manna but never heard about bhojohori ranna. So I thought of trying this restaurant. And I was not disappointed. This restaurant serves traditional Bengali cuisines which I liked.
Bhojohori Ranna is a Bengali restaurant in Kolkata. The restaurant serves a wide variety of home cooked Bengali cuisine from its pocket-friendly menu. The restaurant aims at serving up fresh food to live up to the household tradition. It also has the only traditionally developed multi-course tradition . It offers nostalgic recipes prepared with patience and passion.
Bhojohori Ranna provides an amazing ambiance along with good food and nostalgic vibes.
Bhojohori Ranna is located on Jessore Road in 24 Parganas North.
I have visited here many times...one of my favourite restaurant ....from my home it takes just 10 -15 mins ....

Being a Bengali, I am very conscious about Bengali food. However, This outlet served food satisfying my taste buds. Betki Rongpuri Fry is extremely tasty - thin covering and chunky fish - a must try. Then Shukto is worth trying as well as the Betki paturi. Pocket pinch - medium.
Staffs are courteous.
Would definitely be visiting again.
Very close to Airport "আড়াই নম্বর" (Gate no. 2.5) gate. A very good option if you're stuck around the airport. Very helpful staff. We were in a hurry and requested the waiter to get us mixed fried rice, garlic fish and sweet and sour prawns. Food arrived promptly. Little expensive for the quantity and quality served.
I went there for lunch with my family, the ambience is good. Dishes we ordered plain rice, mocha ghonto, masoor dal, Panda jhal. All items are very good and Tasteful.
We ordered plain rice.. chicken biriyani..chicken kosha and three plate of ilish vapa and two plates of chitol jhal...and two ilish macher mug dal and panchmishali sabji...
Though food was really yummy..but price of ilish Mach and chitol mach was very high..they charged 540 for per piece of ilish Mach and 420 for per chitol Mach which was really high..but overall experience was good..
Located just few metres walkable distance from the Gate No.2.5 of the Dumdum Airport on the main road itself towards Barasat..Have always been a favourite dining place when in North Kolkata or when we used work at the Airport..Food is good especially their Biryanis and curries..God job guys..!!!!!
One of the best restaurants win in you budget. You must try Thai soup here at fast. Chick tengri kabab is awesome. Reshmi kabab too testy. Reshmi or Tikka butter masala also very tasty. But you may not impress with the decoration. But all foods are very good. Good Bengali food you may try there. Good fish preparations available here. You can try daab chingri
Location - 4/5
Ambiance - 3/5
Stuff - 3.5/5
Cost - not so costly. With in your budget
I frequently order from here and both quality and quantity of food provided is great. The delivery staffs are quite efficient. They deliver piping hot food at the doorstep within an hour of placing an order. I love their Chinese food very much.
I have tried almost every non veg dish here. This is the best dining place near airport in terms of taste. Ambience and service are average. Most of the mutton options are good. Chicken reshmi butter masala, Veg fried rice, Tandoor among the better. If you love fish you should definitely try it . This place is pretty much ideal for typical bengali cuisine.
This restaurant is just beside my home.. So i often come here with my family.. Interior is also good. But i think the rate is little bit higher.. The food is great. All total good.
Been here twice with friends.
1st visit : ordered chilli chicken and fried rice at lunch. The quantity was huge and price was not high.
The food quality was okayish
2nd visit: ordered tandoori roti and butter chicken at dinner.. The quantity and size of rotis were pretty huge and also the taste improved. Loved the food and simple dim decor.
3rd time: took chicken tandoori from their takeaway counter during durga puja.. The quantity as well as quality was sufficient.
I have not visited this restaurant for a long time but earlier I used to visit it quite often because it is near to my place, pocket friendly and of course tasty. The moghlai dishes like reshmi butter masala, tandoori butter masala, biriyani and others will taste really heaven those who love having spicy food, and the best part is, though spicy, none of them are too hot to ruin your pallet. The Chinese dishes are delicious too and Sizzlers have an Indian blend. Some other out of flavour dishes I've tried is Lemon Chicken and Palak Chicken. Lemon chicken is nothing special but Palak Chicken is good and can be tried both with rice and chapati. However, on festive days, the quality of the food really goes down, and it is better not to visit it on such days.

Its located in jessore road. Very nice place and food quality is also good. Prices are also reasonable. Behaviour of staff crew is also good.
Food was good, Must visit if you are looking for Bengali cuisine, good food in a fare price. Fish was fresh and tasty so a big thumbs up for them. Keep it up
The decor is nice with red lights and comfy n cosy seating places.
They've numerous cuisines. Great variety of delicacies. Food is so tasty here and the quantity they give is also good.
It's pocket friendly and a nice place to have fun with friends and family.
Happy fooding 😃
Good experience with Bhajohori Ranna with a couple of take-aways and dine-in. Loved their "Prawn Malaikari" and that's definitely a recommendation. The prawns were cooked very tender and the curry was well made. The "yellow" pulao was brilliantly served and quantity was ample with generous proportions of cashews. We had struggled to finish them :) this place is quite a favorite as there's quite a crowd I see every time. Being on the Jessore road, it's a convenient option for people traveling towards Barasat or airport.
Had a great lunch... both the quality and Ambience was good... Amount of the food was good enough.. 😊😊 just dat if they could add some more preparation of chicken n mutton (in Bengali cuisine), dat would be great, though they have got plenty of preparation of other Bengali cuisines apart from mentioned two....
Well to start with I only visited this place because its close to where I live and for sudden late night cravings. This place features in a variety of traditional bengali dishes which does make the menu look mouth watering. But it failed to keep up with the expectation. The quality was only okay and the prices weren't reasonable either. Not worth it!
Been there many times.. there speciality is Daan Chingri in affordable price.. ambience is not classy at all but the food is good in that price range..
Guys go there and have Daab Chingri and Mutton gravy.
As being close to my home its easily accessible. The ambience is very comfortable where you can be on your own n ave your own privacy. The food is really delicious and pleasing to taste, especially all Bengali cuisines. And the plus point is its completely pocket friendly! Service is satisfactory.
One of my fav restaurant in BIRATI but quite expensive a mix fried rice cost 220 plus container charges extra plus 20 RS for delivery but food quite good a rumali roti cost RS 10 plus GST
Bhajohari Ranna - An excellent restaurant to satiate your tastebuds at pocket friendly price.
=====
Location + Introduction:
I was returning back from the airport. My friend who had been here took me. So i won't be able to tell you the exact location but it is located somewhere in barasat area.
Bhajohari Ranna is quite a hidden gem. We sat on the first floor and the decor was quite simple. It was not very very fancy but yeah, i liked it the way it was. There was some mask showpieces added to the ambiance to give it the look and it was all decorated even the ceilings. Despite being so nicely made, the prices which they charge is quite pocket friendly.
=====
What i ordered:
• Onion Salad - Onion cut in the form of onion rings with some sprinkled masala on top. Served with kacha lonka (green chilly) and lebu. (lemon).
• Egg Tadka Daal - Believe me or not, one of the best egg tadka's i had. The food served was piping hot and tasted excellent. #bliss
• Aloo Posto - As i went with a bengali friend, he insisted on ordering me this. I loved on this one too. It was light. It was satiating. It was perfect the way it was. #musttry
• Roomali Roti - It was fine. Went hand in hand with the above mentioned food items.

Conclusion:
I had a great time here and might as well come back again in the near future sometime. Lovely place serving lipsmacking food at pocket friendly price. I did not feel bloated after the food which i usually feel even after dining it at some of the posh restaurants. This was light and blissful to the palate as well as satiated my stomach.

Unbiased review based on my eating experience.
Month of August 2017
Recently went there with the same friend. This time thought to try Chinese Food. So we went on trying Sweet Corn Chicken Soup, Valcon Chicken (mild spicy chicken with sunny side egg) and Chicken Hakka Chowmien. All were good. Served impeccably and is quite reasonably priced too.
Wasn't aware of this place until one day I visited a friend's place in Birati n decided to order food for lunch. The delivery didn't take too long. We ordered chicken bharta, mixed fried rice and naan. The best chicken bharta I tasted so far. Loaded with flavours n shredded chicken and the quantity was enough for two with large portions for each. The fried rice was loaded with chicken n prawn n had a good flavour to it. Loved the lunch that day. Would definitely order or visit the place and try out other dishes too. The chicken bharta would be a sure winner and a must try for anyone visiting here.
A perfect place for enjoying having lunch or dinner in Bengali Cuisine... 💕💕
I came to know by my friends so i wanted to visit it. I visited it on my Beloved's 25th Bday.
The restaurant has 3floors .. we went on the 1st floor. The staffs were good n courteous. I got the window side seat ..... Having lunch here was not a bad option i felt when i saw the ambience.
We ordered for totally Bengali type foods ... Rice, Dal, Aloo Bhaja, Katla Kalia , Chicken, Mutton.
They served in a very perfect way all the dishes ... representation was even praise worthy.
Foods were all well cooked, homely type, damn tasty. Chicken n mutton were even cooked in a proper way.... we even took tandoori chicken as parcal.
We were delighted to have such a tasty food as our lunch... Rates are even reasonable... !
Hope to visit soon.. coz still can't forget the mouthwatering food they cooked n served 😍😁
Been there for 2-3 times..nice ambiance.. variety of foods to choose from.
we ordered mixed fried rice & prawn chili. tastes good but quantity is not satisfactory according to price.. still we liked it.
Visited many times... Multicuisine restrurant.. food quantity good. Service is good also.. bt max items are not available every day.. Biriyani n chicken dishes are good.
Me and my wife went to this place few days back...very nice food and authentic...we ordered for sizzlers which was par excellence...mushroom chicken was not a good option but still we enjoyed it
Nice place. It is a multicuisine resturant.Indian,Chinese, North Indian dishes are available here.I've tasted Chinese and Indian dishes which are good.Service is good also.
Authentic Bangali food. Don’t go by the look of the restaurant. We tried Veg options and they were mouth watering.
Must try panch mishali tarkari, dhokar dalna and special daal 😋😋😋
And the desert - Jaggari Rossogolla.
My only suggestion is to increase the quality 🙏
I had a lunch in the restaurant. Tried their special daal, sukto ,Aloo bhaja and aloo posto with rice. The food quality was very good. But I felt the quantity was less considering the price. The internal decorations was nice and service was also pretty promt. Overall I liked both the food and the experience.
If you're a fan of Bengali cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. The menu offers a great variety of traditional Bengali dishes cooked to perfection. The food is of exceptional quality, with rich flavours and impeccable presentation. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a delightful dining experience. Highly recommended for an authentic and delicious culinary experience! ♥
Ordered the tandoori roti, paneer masala, chow mein and chicken. Food took a bit of time to arrive and tasted ok. Atmosphere inside was darkly lit.
It's cozy place a little closed maybe, preferred for young couples and family too
Food is superb here, like you get this feel of deliciousness we ordered Indian and Chinese it was like a flavourfull experience, taste of the streets but refined and presented well
But the reception was lacking behind as we felt a little distant from the staff, not much efficient in helping you but they are polite enough to serve you with all the respect, I felt they lack communication and expertise, but good in heart
All in, it was a 4/5 experience
Great experience.... Quality food .... Wonderful Service... Recommended all friends.
This restaurant is well-known for its bengali cuisine food. Seating facility is available both in ground & first floor. Food quality is very good specially Muri ghonto and pabda jhal. But prices are a tad bit on a higher side. Service is ok.
It's an amazing restaurant & food quality & quantity is very good.
Food quality & quantity & taste is good. Ambience is also good. The restaurant staff's behaviour is good. Overall it is a good experience. We ordered Masala kulcha, chili mushrooms, chicken bharta & 2 in 1 ice cream.
Pros:
Good quality.
Tasty and delicious dishes.
Quick serve.
Couple friendly place.
Well behaved staff even security staff also.
Cons:
Not so spacious for big family.
Must try: Vetki Paturi and Crab 🦀 👌👌

Very nice restaurant. The ambience is quite good. Full air-conditioned and two-storey restaurant. They provide bengali dishes which are mostly authentic. They have a variety of Chinese dishes as well. Must visit with family and friends. The food on the menu are quite reasonable
Although I had ended up there Searching different restaurant but I don't have any regret . Bengali Cuisines taste very good.
Delicious food more popular for Bengali dishes. Bengali dishes are served quite fast whereas other North Indian dishes takes time to prepare & serve. The food is delicious hence doesn't matter if they take little bit more time.
This is the best mixed fried rice i have ever tried anywhere. That white papad made of prawn, was awesome in taste.
