I often visit vip sweets, they serve fresh and good quality sweets. Do try their chocolate sandesh and mishti doi.
The VIP Sweets of Ultadanga is situated just in the Hudco Crossing beside the P C Chandra jewellers.
They have a very good flavour in their ice cream sandesh.
I bought Roshomalai from this shop. They were very fresh and the taste was very soothing. There was keshar on top of it. The packing was also very good so that the milk don't get toppled over
a friend had got a box of gurer sandesh for me. liked it a lot. it had raisins in it and was lovely. maybe it was hard because of the winters but great taste

I really love the sweets of this shop.
They are always fresh , soft and a treat to my taste buds.
They serve varieties of sweets from mishti doi to kaajubarfi and all are just amazing to taste.
Recommended to all sweet lovers.
One of the popular sweet shops in Kolkata. The sweets are of great taste. They always serve fresh sweets and also the price is quite decent.
One of the best sweets we can get from this shop....me nd my family always bought sweets from vip sweets for our every occasion. .situated beside the vip main road...nd near from capital electronics.......it's one of my favourite sweet shop...
Well, the winter mishti cravings never end, and never does end my quest for quintessential mishti shops – which are also not very far away from my home / office.
However, my never-ending search for such a mishti outlet might have just been satiated – post my visit to this place! Based at some distance from the Ultadanga railway station, these guys have definitely changed over to a new leaf.
Have been here several times earlier also, but never had such a divine experience. All my earlier experiences ranged from average to good, but today it was more of an exceptional one.
They perhaps offer each and every mishti a lay man can think of – rosogollas, kadapak, golab jamun, laengcha, mayabhog, laddus, gajar halwa, malpua, boondi, rabri, varied Sandesh and what not ……………
After a tour of their variety sweets, I opted for a takeaway of their Chocolate Sandesh and kadapaak. The former was simply out of the world and the latter, great! The chocolate Sandesh could be 1 of the best I ever had, specially, with the chocolate sauce dripping from the top. While the kadapaak was fine on taste with a decent size.
Prices are not high and availability, service as well as variety is great!
To sum up, these guys get a huge recommendation and regular visits from me!
Almost any sweet shop at West Bengal is good . My personal fav is 'Koyal brothers' in kolkata ultadanga though found this at zomato , hence reviewing. I have bought sweets from here many times, you may like it.
They have got a variety of Bengali sweets and all of them are mouthwatering. The jaggery sandesh are one of the famous ones. The mishti doi is also one of my favourite.
Oh god! I am true lover sweets and when I find VIP sweets near, I can't afford to move without enjoying some of my favorite sweets. Especially gulab jamun, kheer kadam and rasogullas.... Must try once if you haven't....

They have variety of mouth licking innovative sandeshes. Backed Rasogolla, Backed chamcham both are their signature dish. They serve a special sarbhaja. Their sweets are different from others. I personally very much fond of them.
VIP Sweets and their chain in Kolkata is very popular for the Sandesh. Beautiful, decorative and tasty.
Visited here after lunch to have sweets. Tried their Chocolate Sandesh and Khir Malai. Both were really good in taste. Looked and tasted fresh.
Prices are okay.
Situated near ultadanga crossing bridge on main road. Small outlet only takeaway. no sitting arrangement. Large number of delicious sweets to choose from. Ambience was good and so as hospitality. Staff was friendly and helpful. Service was quick and price was reasonable. I tried their mango chumchum it was full of flavour, fresh and tastes heavenly delicious. topped with mini gulab jamun and pista. Must try place. Recommended to all.
Authentic Bengali sweets! Nothing can beat it!
We had to take few sweets to Mumbai so shopkeeper suggested to buy any of the sondesh and we just couldn't decide the flavour. So just bought mixed box of 1kg sondesh which included rose, kesar, mango, orange etc. There were many more - don't recollect .
And if you don't have rasgulla at this place then don't visit this place, it would be disrespecting the place and Kolkata. Rasgulla were just awesome and gulped a few at the shop itself.
Missing Kolkata sweets man!

This shop is one of the oldest sweet shops in town.
It's close to p c Chandra jewellers.
Try once if you haven't tried it at all.
I have tried Misti doi.
I don't know about their other sweets but their Malai Chop is the best in the city and I can never get enough of it. They bring about their A game with the nolen gur version of the same during winters.
VIP sweets is one of the oldest sweet shop brand in the city. I personally prefer their sweets a lot. Alwys fresh and right amount of sweetness added to each of their products.
This outlet is at ultadanga just beside the PC Chandra jewellers. It's an old one and probably from this one only I started liking them. Misti doi here is very tasty also their every sweets are worth a try :)
A "mistir dokan" with the best mishti doi i have ever tasted..try the nolen gurer sondesh..also the dhokla..
A shop which lives upto to its name..providing vip quality sweets to its "misti" vip customers
The sweet shop from my childhood......This "mistir dokan" is certainly worthwhile of giving a try...the nalen gur er sandesh is simply a show stopper and other sweetmeats are great as well..
This shop is the king of shorbhaja... I have never tasted a better shorbhaja in my life...Haven't really tasted other sweets..so can't comment..but the shorbhaja is heavenly..I am actually salivating as I write..The snacks section is a bit disappointing..but they do have some salty items!!
Located close to Ultadanga crossing, it's a small sweet shop which is actually quite famous in the area. Residents of the place will often give directions based on this sweet shop. The shop looks quite old but is still in good shape and doesn't look shabby at all.
Collection of sweets is nice, items like Rasmalai, Malpua, Barfi, Kacha Golla, Kalakand, Shorbhaja and various other sweets are available. Chocolate Mishti is also one of the items they can boast of. It's really nice and shares similarity to the one available at Balaram Mullick. Snacks portion was disappointing as only Samosa is available.
Stock is not a problem as I visited the place in the evening and still found the racks almost full. Pricing is standard, or maybe a bit higher than usual I would say, but it's not a thing to worry. Packing is so-so, though they use hard cardboard boxes like other sweet shops, but it's surely a cheap quality one. For samosas, they will use the good old paper pouches.
It is a small sweet shop near Ultadanga crossing. No seating arrangements. It can be easily considered as one of the best sweet shops. This place is also quite cheap comparing to other places.

The shob is located opposite hudco bus stop and a few feet away from PC Chandra jewellers ultadanga . The sweet shop remains a fabourite because of their variety and consistent quality . Their sweets are reasonably priced and really good to taste. In winter, do try out all their Nolen Gur items. Swarbhaja is a must try too. The chocolate sandesh segment is also interesting . The rosokodombo is good too. Their Mishti Doi is good, but the slightly sour variety. The rabri is good. Rosogolla is of the spongy variety.
Very good sweet shop close to my home.sweets are always very fresh nd tasty.
i had sweets from here almost regularly during school days..this is situated in one of the busiest places at the hudco crossing at ultadanga..its very handy to take sweets from here and taste their variety of sweets..
i love their chomchom, sandesh ,jolbhoora, kalakand, doi and other snacks like kachuri, shingara ..it was almost a daily routine for me during those days..they maintain a good standard o their sweets and a very renowned sweetshop here..i loved their khirer sandesh and nolen gurer ones..sweets are delicious any sweetlover will love it..special mention to their "shorbhaja"and "ilish sandesh.".they are one of a kind
they serve nicely..pric is standard and even pack sweets nicely...my mom used to take sweets from here everyday..as we love to have from Vip sweets ..!
Sweets are of really nice quality.. but the quality takes a downfall at nights.. I am a sweet lover and each day my family bring sweets home to have after dinner.. Nd max day its from this place, as it is jst 10 or 20 steps aways from m home.. But when ever we bring rubry at nights, the quality is not up to the mark..
First of all thanks to the Zomato admin team for adding this Sweet shop on my request. I guess many foodies will like to review this place due to its prime location and quality.
OK so lets get started. In an abstract manner, this place is like any other sweet shop in any busy locality in the City. A small sweet shop on the famous HUDCO crossing near the Ultadanga Rlwy Station. But its not so simple. Primarily there are some reasons for this. First, it is definitely the best sweet shop around Ultadanga and second, its convenient to buy sweets whether u r strolling there in the morning or rushing to someplace crossing Ultadanga. They have made very good use of the location factor and the taste has added to it.
Now lets hop to the sweet quality. Sweets are good. I myself have tried a lot of them as I have been buying sweets from here whenever I am around. It started with a quick pick during my rush from the airport to the Howrah station, and since then it has been a routine. Breakfast options are limited, Kachuri and Samosa to speak of, but they are pretty fine. Sweets on the other hand say a different story. You will get most of the popular daily use sweets available all at once. I particularly will suggest the jolbhora, Rasogolla, Sandesh(sugar/jaggery) and the misti doi. Chomchom and ilish sandesh are also good. A special mention for the Rasogolla, I have bought it even in the evening and still they were equally fresh as morning.
The factor which works as an advantage to this shop is its location. The Sen mahasoy and Girish Chandra Dey maybe better but are difficult to access in the vicinity of Shyambazar and Manicktala. This leaves a very good option right infront of you on your transit on HUDCO.
Better to go in morning, stands good for all sweet shops as the sweets are fresh and most them are available. You can have some for parcel too, but they don't provide solid containers and plane travel with these need special attention.
Happy Eating!!!
As a dessert enthusiast with a penchant for indulging in sweet delicacies, I recently had the pleasure of visiting "VIP Sweets" at Ultodanga, Kolkata. Located in the heart of the city, this sweet shop has garnered a reputation for its delectable treats, and my experience certainly lived up to the hype.
Upon entering the store, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The display counter was adorned with an impressive array of sweets, ranging from traditional Indian mithais to innovative fusion creations. The staff was courteous and helpful, ready to offer recommendations and provide insights into the ingredients and preparation methods used in their sweets.
One aspect that stood out during my visit was the freshness of their sweets. Each piece looked vibrant and alluring, enticing me to try more than I had initially planned. I began my journey through their offerings with the classic "Rasgulla," a soft and spongy chhena ball soaked in sugar syrup. The Rasgulla practically melted in my mouth, revealing a perfect balance of sweetness and texture that left me yearning for more.
Next, I decided to venture into their assortment of "Sandesh," a Bengali specialty. The Sandesh came in a variety of flavors, from the traditional plain ones to modern variations like chocolate and mango. Each variant was a delight in its own right, showcasing the mastery of the artisans behind these creations. The use of high-quality ingredients was evident, and the flavors were distinct and authentic.
As someone who appreciates fusion desserts, I couldn't resist trying their "Gulab Jamun Cheesecake." Combining the richness of a classic cheesecake with the sweetness of Gulab Jamun, this dessert was an innovative marvel. Surprisingly, the combination worked remarkably well, creating a delightful harmony of flavors that left me astonished.
Besides the sweets, "VIP Sweets" also had a selection of savory snacks like samosas, kachoris, and bhujias. I sampled a few of these items, and they were equally impressive. Crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside, these snacks made for a perfect accompaniment to the sweets.
Overall, "VIP Sweets" at Ultodanga, Kolkata, left an unforgettable impression on me. The quality, variety, and taste of their sweets and snacks are top-notch. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor to Kolkata, I highly recommend paying a visit to this sweet shop. Be prepared to indulge in a delightful journey through the realm of traditional and innovative sweets, expertly crafted to leave your taste buds longing for more.

VIP sweet is my favourite sweet shop. The sweets are Little bit expensive but extremely testy. The store is located exactly in Bidhan Nagar hudco more. You can visit here from Bidhan Nagar, VIP road. I got confused as they have a variety of sweets. Out of the three sweets i tasted, I loved Kaju Barfi the most.
The oldest sweet (Bengali style) shop in this locality. “Ice cream sandesh” is an iconic item. “Rosogolla” is also famous. Besides that they sell singara (samosa), potato chips and ghee. This is a cash-only shop. This shop has a number of branches in Kolkata.
High quality sweets at reasonable price. All sweets are fresh and attractive. It's MISTI DOHI ( sweet cards) is excellent.
