I prefer Bhikharam over any other places for their price. Price here is really pocket friendly for all items. During Saraswati puja this year, I had tried their fuchka which was quite cheap at price,but good at taste and quality.

I have a big weakness for Kaju based sweets and so cannot resist them. I was passing by the Bhikaram outlet just outside City Center One after having a roll at Jabbrr's and went inside this outlet.
I bought a small pack containing 2 pcs kaju burfi, 1 pc kaju kasata, 1 pc kaju paan, 1 pc kaju ghujiya, 1 pc kaju pista roll and a strawberry ball. It cost me a total of 163 rupees.
I loved all the sweets but what I noticed is that their prices are increasing consistently on each visit of mine.
Not that I am a sweet lover but after a heavy lunch had to eat something sweet. The sweets are average and the quality of the product is also average. The price they charge is not too high.

Am just a crazy fan of sahi halwa here... It's a must try. Rich, creamy with pure ghee halwa. When u eat the halwa u feel a royal touch.. And u feel heavenly.. Gajar halwa is also a good dish. Other sweets are also good and yumm..
The sandwiches are very filling and very much according to the price.. Pasta is slightly costly and overrated. Cooked sewai is a unique dish here which is amazing.

A very old brand in the industry and one of the favas place for any sweet toothed person. Starting from the desi sweets to assorted cakes and pastries, I just love their selection. Their handmade chocolates are awesome in taste and also as gift items. Bhikharam Chandmal outlet near CC1 is close to my office and I often visit this place in person in quick a break. They serve really good food which are perfect for both heavy breakfast or light lunch. I love the Raj Kachori with Green Chutny and the kachori is stuffed so heavily I just get overloaded after having it. Chole Bature, Radha Ballavi - Aloo Dum, Sandwiches are some of my favorites.
For any occasion at my home I shop sweets from this place. Even today I bought lots of Desi Ghee Ladoo, Kaju Barfi, Mawa Barfi, Rasmalai, Anjeer Roll, Malpua from this outlet for puja at my home.

Been visiting this place since childhood with dad. Being a bengalee sweet is one of the most important aspect in our life, either it be any bengali sweet or it's any kind of Western dessert ,we like everything.
So comming to the bhikharam it's been one of my best place to grab laddo, kaju barfi, gulab jamun and many more.
But they serve a variety of namkeen also . The bhujia , chanchur are very good indeed.
For breakfast and evening snacks they serve dosa , idli, kachori, club kachori, and many more. Loved the club kachori platter over there . Everyone should grab breakfast over there for at least once. They have place to accommodate like 30-40 on the 1st floor. So that shouldn't be any problem. And in the opposite foot it's parking spot over there too.

According to me I think they served delicious soan papdi than Haldiram.....I tried their soan papdi and laddu..... laddu was tasted good but sorry Haldiram's laddu is best....but the soan papdi tasted so good.......
After having spicy lunch , we opted for sweet dishes. When we entered into the shops , we got confused seeing so many mouth-watering sweets. At last we ordered moti pak laddu, Kaju Berfi . They were very fresh. I took milk cakes for home.. The sweets were utterly delicious..

The main attraction of this dish is definitely the aloo sabji which is awesome and tastes perfect as it is the right amount of spicy and makes this dish the best breakfast for days like Sunday when one would like to start the day with a great breakfast! Highly recommended!!
This week I visited this place. This is located just opposite to city centre 1 kolkata. Ordered Singara chat and idli. Price was quite reasonable. Taste of the Singara chat was just awesome. It's looked mouth watering.idli was normal in taste.

Bhikaram Chandmal is a good place if you are looking for snacks, sweets and other quick bites. The rates are reasonable. The quality is maintained and the food available here are tasty as well. The service is fast. I would have rated it 4 stars if the restaurant would have been a little more courteous. The restaurant which is on the first floor is not attended properly. You cannot go directly to the restaurant and place order. You have to pay for your order on the ground floor and then collect your order from 1st floor. Table service is not available here. You do not have a menu card to decide from. Basically the overall experience is not that good but if you are looking for good food for a budget friendly price, this is where you have to adjust.
Situated in Sec 1, Salt Lake, just near City Centre 1, this place is the best for the vegetarians and also for the non vegetarians although they don't serve non veg . But u guys will love it. Their food is of very high quality at affordable price. Their dosa, chola bhatura, thali, all, all of the food from their menu is very tasty. And if u end of eating something spicy, they always have sweets at ground floor. They also provide Idli and sandwiches at morning. At evening, u will find a puchka guy at their shop, and it's very very tasty. And besides all these, one thing which I liked the best for the puchka guy wears gloves while making and serving puchka. U guys must visit this place.

Perhaps one of the few outlets in salt lake that stands tall. The range of food they offer is mindblowing. From continental to Indian (both north and south Indian dishes) is really astounding. No need to mention their speciality- the sweet meats and confectioneries. Their Kaju katli and gulab jamun among with rasgulla its quite favourite among those who I know personally. They have a vast varieties of other sweets as well, most of their names are hard to recall!! Nevertheless, they are really delicious. They have both Indoor and outdoor sitting. Their sandwiches are pretty big too. This place is best suited for any veggie lover or anyone having a sweet-tooth.
Dropped in here a few days ago hearing about their famous sweets and snacks. I bought Badam Barfi for my family. The Barfis were huge. They were thick and soft and moist and utterly delicious. Loved this one. Will go back for their gulab jamun soon.

Glad something is awake till midnight. Quality is really nice, kids can have them surely . Although their products are available in almost any grocery store hance no need to come here but its nice if you have sudden guests or need something the very next morning though that happens once in a blue moon.

This is one of the most famous and oldest sweet and snacks shop in Kolkata. There used to be craze for their sweets once but which has been decreased over year in my opinion. Talking about sweets they are as better as you imagine. There are variety of sweets available. There are some snacks also to neutral your sweet teeth. Prices are medium high.
The only thing I didn't like that two separate counter one for ordering and one for payment and which are at two opposite end of shop. Secondly staff seemed a bit disrespectful.

Further the pack of bhujia and Chanachur are quite cheap you can buy them for Snacks and are of very good quality, also have the Gajar ka halwa 😋😋😍😍 during the winters, as its seasonal item and would not be available during other time of of the year.
