This joint is located just besided Gupta Brothers on the Loudon Street and offers great south indian and fast food options at quite reasonable rates.
Recommended dishes are Chole Bhature, Sambhar Idli, Rava Dosa and Pav Bhaji. Sambhar had quite authentic taste and other dishes were also quite delicious.
The service is fast and there is no tax over the mentioned price which is amazing. Do visit for a quick bite here.

This place is located just opposite to Bell Vue Clinic. You can grab quick bites like Chaat, Chola Bhatura And other South Indian dishes along with Juice and Beverages. If you wanna have south Indian food, chaats, other street food or juices , then this is a good place to visit. Location: opposite the main gate of Belle Vue hosp and very close to La. Martiniere for boys....this is quite a goodplace. Coming to the food...we had sada dosa and it was served hot...with sambaar and coconut chutney . It was good, giving good competition to the other restaurants serving south Indian food.The masala vada was excellent, crispy, crunch and packed with flavours. The fresh fruit juices were also great, pineapple and grape juice.
The service staff were courteous and served smilingly...

Very neat to my school and bell vue hospital. Amazing South Indian. It's s habit place; once u go there the place will be on your mind for a hell lot of times thereafter. Quite affordable prices not very high.
Went for lunch with office colleagues. We ordered fried idli, masala vada, veg biryani, masala cheese sandwich, pizza, rava dosa, masala dosa, cola float, cold coffee and pomegranate juices. Overall the food tasted good. Pizza was surprisingly good and crispy. Fried idli was indeed a disappointment.

A pocket friendly place for grabbing some delicious snacks. Clean place with a good and spacious seating. Have tried their Dosa, coffee and sandwiches. All were pretty good. Service is fast. A good joint for all age groups to fill their tummy or just sit with friends over a cup of coffee. It's just at a 5 minutes walking distance from my hostel and thus, have visited the place quite a number of times.

We tried two types of Dosa and they were very tasty. Even the sambar was hot and delicious. Staff was attentive and friendly. Will drop in again soon.

One of their outlets is located just next to the petrol pump near Command Hospital. The other one is located here, near La Martiniere. I have tried the Potato Chaat from here along with a Lassi. Both of them were very good. Loved this place!

Visited the place last week again had the famous cheese butter masala dhosa and uttapam. Ummmm it was awesome in taste. It is one of the best dhosa corner in kolkata.

Located opposite bell vue hospital on loufon street this has been one of my all time favourite south I dian joint. The first outlet was opened in alipore which was and is very popular.
The best thing about the outlet is their service. Extremely prompt ...and always. So a great place to have quick south Indian food. Their sambar is really tasty. They serve a variety of dosas and all are yummy. My personal favourite onion masala dosa.
The idlis and vadas are nice. I even love their upma. Soft and tasty. The chutney taste has differed on days but good enough. They also serve pav bhaji...chole bhature etc. The former is fine but bhatura is very oily.
The ambience is ok...they serve in average plates. But that is acceptable given the cost. Very reasonable.
To add to food they also serve juices....and have a swirl counter as well at the entrance. So that's good for dessert lovers.
Only con ...is that the chairs are basically stools and so there is no back rest. Also sofa kind of seats are not that comfortable either. They should work on it.

Food: This is a Veg Restaurant. Their speciality is South Indian, North India snacks and Chat. They also have Pizzas, Sandwiches and Burgers.
We ordered Plain Dhosa, Idli, Vada and coffee.
Perfectly done crisp Dhosa and Vada. Quality and hygiene is good.
Earlier we have had their Chole Batura, mixed chat and Paw Bhaji. Would also recommend these to all foodies.
DÊcor: Very basic nice and clean place. Well laid tables- use of mirrors and the red colour of the tables and the sofas brightens up the place. The place can accommodate about 50 people.
Service: Very quick and prompt. They do not have parking space. You will have to pay and park on the road.

The name has actually misguided me for so long. I thought it was a roll counter, especially because years ago there was a roll counter in Gariahat by that name.Today I thought I had better check it out. It is a pure veg snacks eatery. I regretted that during my college life, it was not there for some comfort food ( Rani Birla Girls College).
The eatery is huge. Red seats are available in abundance. I dare say if you remove all the furniture, you can comfortably play cricket there.
The staff uniform consists of grey trousers and shirt together with a Nehru cap on the head. Reminds me somehow of a Marathi eatery I had checked in Mumbai. The whole eatery is spotlessly clean with no bad smell.
None ushered me as I went in. As I took my seat, a staff provided me with a thick menu card. I have not tasted chat for a long time, so settled for a mixed chat. The staff is very professional, his politeness is restricted to his professionalism.
The food arrived soon. Each table is provided with tissue papers so I did not have to ask for one. The mixed chat content was large enough to feed two of us, and since I was the only one, I had to eat it while. Not that I regretted, because the food is simply delicious. Right amount of contents were there. The price was also pocket friendly. Ample parking space. Worth visiting more than once.

Super snacks bar is ideally located near belle vue hospital. The place is nothing fancy but tidy and serves quality food. The dosas here is very good n so is the chola bhatura. The bhaturas are hot and fluffy, just fried n served hot! The uthapams are ok, but as I'm not really fond of them can't say much.. Good place for South Indian.. I love the sambhar of this place I think it's the finest. U have a variety of fresh juices. My favourites are cocktail and mausambi.. Place is decently priced, not too light on the pocket and not too heavy either.
This outlet will get the best rating for Coffee, Dosa and value for money.. I visited this place five times last week. The location is opposite to bell vue nursing home and is very convenient for the visitors.. The waiters are well informed and would let you know the time needed to serve the meal. The coffee is served in big glass tumblers and is in more than adequate quantity. They use aromatic filter coffee.. The dosa is also good.Â

A very famous south Indian joint, which opened up after the closure of the one at Majerhat. Despite the fact that they got a better locality and interiors, the utensils n taste remain the same.
We ordered paper dosa, cheese onion dosa, idli, vada, mixed cheese Pizza n chhola bhatura.
To start with paper dosa, it was crisp n d size was also quite generous. Cheese onion dosa had a very ample filling of cheese n u could taste it in every bite. Idli was served hot n soft as always. After having a look of the mixed cheese pizza I thought of renaming it to overloaded pizza as the pizza was overflowing with cheese. So if u are some health conscious freak u should avoid it.
The chutney they served was not up to the mark and had turned sour. But they were adamant that they had made it fresh. Nevertheless we got it changed for special chutney for no extra bucks.
We also ordered 2 fresh lime, 1 sweet n the other sweet n sour. But to my surprise the sweet n sour one was more sweeter than the one which was ordered to be sweet.
The waiters were not polite and had an attitude of their own. It took them 10-15 minutes to get us some ice cubes.
Overall, decent food with not so decent cutlery n waiters.
The restaurant is spacious enough to accommodate people. A very nice look & really good food. Sambhar, vada & dosa were delicious & just couldn't stop eating. Price is less as compared to the food's taste. Looking for trying more & more dishes in here.

Located opposite to the belle vue hospital in ajc bose road,super snacks bar is what it claims to be, a snack bar.On offer is south indian, and bread based items like sandwiches,burgers, pizzas(indianised versions though), cholle bhature.They also have many beverages and juices on offer.The also have a kwality walls swirls outlet from where you can pick icecreams.
The seating isnt very great and interiors are average.The dosas are a must try here!Rava oinion, paper butter,masala are al lgood. The uttapams are amazing(mixed uttapam is my favourite).The burger is an indianised version of the american staple but still tastes nice.
The staff here however needs to be more hospitable.

I am not a fan of this outlet mainly because of lack of the traditional old school indian feel that i get at other south indian oriented food joints like madras restaurant or banana leaf or ramkrishna mansion. Nevertheless the restaurant does serve some top notch food varieties at decent prices.

The food served is south indian, north indian items like chola bhatura paw bhaji etc, pizza, burger. The prices are a bit on higher side. The staff is polite enough and service is very quick. Coming to food, the dosas are really nice that are customised to your liking more often than not accompanied by nice chutney and sambhar with ghee cheese masala dosa being my favorite. Idlis and vadas are served hot and fresh. Alu bondas are pretty good. I like their chola bhatura too which is ordered by lot of people sitting there.
Overall the food is very good and hygienic but the place does not fall in my list of preferred south indian food destinations !!!

A lowkey place with a wide variety of South Indian Food, Fresh juices & Sandwiches. They serve Softy too. Love their Sambar vada, onion cheese masala dosa, mosambi juice, softy.
