This outlet of French Loaf is good and stuff behaviour is also very good. Their service is always maintained in good book. The cakes are fresh and tasty. My favourite cake from here is pineapple cake. Cakes are very soft and creamy. It is little bit costly but highly recommended.

This outlet of French loaf is located at Sector 3. French loaf a very popular brand known for its unique variety of cakes, patisserie etc. During this quarantine when most of the restaurants are closed, French loaf is serving their customers by maintaining proper safety and hyegine. measures I recently tried out some of their items which includes chicken pie, veg puff, chicken Danish etc and they delivered it by maintaining proper guidilines as instructed by government.
I will recommend all to try out their cakes and pastries and be assured about the service.
I ordered it some time ago.those pastries were so soft and had well balance taste .
It's on the ground floor..adjacent to the ticket counter of Carnival Cinemas..the salesman is very nice and obliging..after seeing the movie Mitin mashi we had to wait there for some time because it was raining heavily and we couldn't go to the parking zone..we ordered one Chicken Quiche which was excellent..Chicken Supreme was nice to look at but basically bread with chunks of chicken sausages, a dash of mayonnaise and cheese..nothing special..the Butterscotch pastry was super fluffy light moist and moderately sweetened..also had coffee..wanted to buy fruit cake slices but they were already sold..the puff pastry products are also nice..not at all overpriced..Will surely order their Birthday Cake on my mom's birthday.

The patisserie products are very tasty and they do justice to the price you pay. You will enjoy their cupcakes , pastries , tarts a lot . The breads are fragrant and healthy . You can also buy normal breads from the French loaf for very day use . Highly recommended.

The French Loaf celebrates pastries and cakes of different forms. The food items here are more or less tasty. I ordered their Chicken Supreme. Pockets of chicken were put in the pastry and was nicely baked. Service is prompt and the staff team is nice too.

French Loaf is one of my favourite brands when it comes to cakes & pastries . This outlet is located at the ground floor of the Broadway Mall ( carnival cinema) & just beside the Big Bazar . The cakes & pastries are mouthwatering & tempting as it is in any other French Loaf outlet . One big disadvantage is the nonavailability of seating place which means you either have to enjoy your food while standing or take it to your home . The outlet is immensely helpful when you want to have a bite before entering at Carnival Cinemas . Staffs are cordial & helpful . Overall the quality of the cakes & pastries mitigates the disadvantages of the outlet .

In my experience, the cakes and pastries that I have tried at The French Loaf have never disappointed me in terms of taste and freshness. For instance, the pineapple pastries that I had here a while ago was quite good, and the chocolate cake is better than most other places in the area. So, go for it if you are in the mood!
I tried their chicken quiche and apple pie. I never had pie before and wanted to. Both were good. But the pocket pinch was a bit on higher side.
Whenever I skip my morning breakfast to watch morning show at carnival i visit this place to have a quick grab at this place. They have nice varieties of cakes , pastries , puff and different bread option.
I tried there 1. Irish pastry... very good, 2. Chocolate indulgence... Excellent, 3. Belgium bar cake- red velvet... very bad and 4. Belgium bar cake- mango... very ordinary... staffs are very courteous... deco was pretty ordinary... pocket pinch was same as other French loaf outlets...

Well, I had my breakfast here before stepping into the movie hall(Batman vs superman day).
I don't know the name of the dish I had. But it was basically a bread with little pockets in it. The pockets were stuffed with chicken sausages and the whole bread was drizzled with some sort of cheese. I really liked the taste of it. And i ordered some Tropicana juice to go along with it.
It was my favourite cake shop till d price hike of chicken mayonese sandwich from rs 50 to rs 95. D sandwich was too good. still i order chicken nuggets....d bread is very soft inside, chicken ham tropicana, chocolate truffle,chocolate pyramid etc. good news for fully vegetarians,they have a large variety of eggless pastries....of different kind n tastes. pastries r very smooth n tender. i like all of their cakes.
Only Takeaway option available. Staff very friendly and speaks well . Food served hot and fresh. Normally I go for pastries and muffin but I really like the Chocolate Doughnut and Danish Chicken. You can order birthday cakes and other party related items.
If you love cakes, there are not much option to choose in Kolkata, and one of the topmost names would be The French Loaf. We have ordered several times from this store for birthday 🎂 parties as this is very close to our office. I loved its pineapple cake and chocolate cake is really tasty. The chocolate 🍫 cake is so good that our friends refused to waste the cream by smudging it in our faces😃 in the birthday parties. They also provide plastic knife and 2 candles with the birthday cake. We also tasted the apple 🍎 pie and some patties. It is really good shop for cakes although at a high price( 1 pound cakes costs between 450-650). We would again use this store for our colleagues' upcoming birthdays😊.
All my office colleague's birthday cakes comes from this outlet.. But to tell u the truth except the chocolate flavor all cake are not so good to eat.. Fruits are not fresh which are used as toppings.. Not at all good to eat.. Creams are also not that tasty.. The nly reason is they deliver the cake which is not available with any other bakery.. All over and in short not good to eat but good on service...
A very nice place the quality of bread is awesome holds a very special place for me as I visited it on the last day of my school. The food is nice and even the eggless muffins were excellent.
This bakery is in the same building of big bazaar. They sell different varieties of breads and pastry. I liked their multi grain bread for regular use. Their different types puffs and muffins are also good in taste.

The food here is good and fresh. I once had the chicken quiche, chicken supreme, pot de chocolate and another chocolate pastry who's name I have forgotten. I also took the chocolate milkshake. All of them tasted pretty nice. No complaints. No regrets.
This outlet is just a mini version of french loaf, but I still love the food they serve. The products are fresh and they taste really nice. I specially recommend the chocolate products.
I have been here various times it's right beside big bazaar . French loaf as always been a good baker but I prefer their sevories over the confectionary. The chocolate products ate better than the non chocolate ones.
I have always loved their brown bread products and also the mini muffins. The quality of the ordered cakes are way better than the ones off the shelf .

A quick bite or a sip from this outlet is a sure event for us whenever there’s a movie date at Broadway. As there’s no seating arrangement available, we usually prefer to order something that can be savored on the go. Among the available items however, the Blackcurrant milkshake is an instant hit! Priced at a mere 35 rupees, they give a medium sized container filled with the drink, loaded with bits of blackcurrants and crushed ice. The chocolate milkshake tastes nice enough but couldn’t beat the blackcurrant one. Apart from the shakes, there are the pastries, chocolates and other tidbits. The sandwiches are quite filling at 50 bucks for two, but I found the bread rather hard and the chicken mayo filling a bit bland. There's a cheese croissant which is pretty nice for a quick bite. Unfortunately, the rack containing the non-vegetarian snacks is almost always found to be deserted. They should definitely stock up more on those.
Well we visited this place after watching a movie in the Broadway Multiplex.Was feeling a bit hungry, so had snacks and pastries there.The snack item was of chicken with sausage being cut into small pieces and embedded in sides. The concept is more like the Olive Sub introduced by Monginis.The taste was good and it was enough to fill up the stomach at rs 50.The pastry was also succulent.One thing I liked about them they provide "Del Monte" small tomato sauce pouch free of cost unlike other confectionaries.Wanted to try out the mushroom puff but did not have space, will try out other items next time.And yes I saw many people buying their brown breads--must be good , will try out next time.
Being just 5 min our place.. I have been here numerous times.. A decent place to have cupcakes and pastries.. Even though its pretty expensive.. Its worth the price.. :)

I have tried this humble joint of French Loaf at the Downtown mall, Saltlake about a month back when we were there at the HDIL Broadway for a movie. I tried their chicken quiche which was strictly okay according to me. But my friends just loved their black forest pastries, and if I just go by the look of the pastry it was really an extremely inviting piece of edible object for sure. So to get a taste of these cakes, I decided to carry back some of their chocolate pyramid pastries, and later when I had them I found they were just outstanding, really yum! Also the price was quite reasonable according to me and one should surely try this place out if you are here at the Downtown Mall. Only one con - this small outlet doesn't have any seating arrangement, but that's somewhat okay if you are in for just a quick bite.

They are the best ones in breads and loads.. The amazing cake collection and the brilliant menu with amazing serving staff.. It's like a heaven for smackers of bakery..
Located between Big Bazaar (not inside it) & Carnival Cinemas ticket counter this is a nice place to grab a quick bite. There's no place to sit here, so take away is the best option unless you don't mind standing around while having a quick snack. The service is prompt but they do run out of products sometimes (which is a good sign, the items you get are mostly 'fresh'). The items to try, in my opinion, are the Quiches (veg or non-veg) & the Pot De Chocolate but other items are decent too.
Had an cracking chiken meyo sandwich with blackcurrent frape and chololate doughnut. Trust me.. Never tasted a better doughnut than this one.. Its crackalackin ...
Located just below Broadway this outlet of French loaf is a usual "grab a bite" place for me! The worst part is most of the things remain unavailable here.... Among the savory I love their chicken quiche and chicken pie! For desserts black forest pastry and mud pie steals the show :)

This outlet of French loaf dies not have seats unlike most of the other branches . The products are the same . The cake shop is located to the left of the entrance to carnival cinemas and is a small place that has beautiful pastries on display ! The chequered pastry is a favorite , along with the chocolate pastry which looks very pretty ! They also sell bars of chocolate , in case you want to gift your loved ones. The staff are friendly . They sell blueberry cheesecake and black forrest cake as well.

This place is just round the corner from where my parents stay. So we are pretty much regular customers. This is the place from where we mostly pick our breads. It also comes handy when we have sudden guests at our place -- it is one place where you can pick up savories. This year I ordered my husband's birthday cake from them and was not disappointed. However, this is a very small outlet, and it does not have a huge stock at all times. If you are looking for something in large quantity or something specific (like I wanted egg-less cake for my husband's birthday), then it is recommended to place order beforehand.
This place is at Downtown Mall, very close to my Institute, I visit this place often either to watch movies or to hanging out at big Bazaar with friends. I prefer to have a bite over there before watching films.
They have good section of pastries and they make designer cakes, which is quite attractive in my opinion. I had black forest pastry, egg-less truffle cake, chicken sandwich and veg patties over there. Veg Patties was mediocre but other items were of good taste. They don't have any sitting arrangement. Overall, there is a chance to improve as far sitting arrangement is concerned but otherwise you can have a bite over there if you visit Broadway for watching movie.
It was my brother's birthday and i didn't buy a cake yet so my friend recommended me to go to 'The French Loaf'. He told me to buy cake from there its good. When i entered the shop there was not much a variety of cakes displayed but out of them i choose the chocolate fantasy cake and went home for my brother's birthday party. The cake looked good and the taste was awesome perfect chocolate cake i ever had.. My brother loved the cake.. THANK YOU THE FRENCH LOAF for making my brother's day so special..
This confectionery would be the place to go before catching a movie at Broadway and I like some of their pastries and patties. They make an Irish pastry which is superb, and have a chicken sausage roll which is very filling. The chicken quiche on the other hand is perhaps not that much to my liking - I find the quiche to be slightly watery, which does not help the crust. They also have breads which I have tried and their regular sandwich loaf is very tasty and soft - and perfect for eating after you toast them lightly and smear butter.
this confectionary makes really the best designer celebration cakes which soft creamy and yummy.i liked their chocolate fastasy cake,half kg of which is priced at 475 rs.their savouries are also well made,lamb chops,chicken puff (40 bucks) ,chicken masala puff was such a tiny treat just at rs 25.chicken calzone might look very filling,but is not so tasty.their pastries are in range of 40 to 60 and are pretty decent.chocolate eclairs,black forest,irish coffee,truffle cakes and mango pastries are really yumm...
An honest confession: I got sick of the chocolate-oozing cakes of kookie jar and thought of giving French Loaf a try, based on a friend's recommendation. And I was delighted! The Black Forest cake, the strawberry and kiwi cakes and the Irish Coffee cake are OUTSTANDING! So, if you wish to plan a surprise for your parents or siblings, do try their extremely reasonably priced cakes.
As for the pasties and other stuff on regular display, they are nothing different than what we usually found elsewhere. The doughnuts are blah! But, the truffle pastry was quite good. It deserves the rating it gets only because of the variety and the yummy-factor of its cakes!

Outlet just at the bang opposite of haldirams vip road, beside k.c.das sweet shop. Various pastries, pies, cakes , donut and snacks available here. No hot beverage ( coffee, tea) served here. A cozy seating arrangement is also here for 4 people inside the outlet. Their black forest pastry tests good and have less sweet test. Chiken supreme is a good snack. Tried wallnut brownies and found it okaish. Birthday cakes also available here. A nice bakery to try if you want some quick bite on the go.

They are probably one of the best Confectionery in town. This place isn't like a cafe or a coffee shop. This is more like mio amore or Kathleen. We go there frequently to have a quick bite. The pastries are very tasty. The staff are very polite and professional.
The pastry is good but the celebration cake does not taste good in my opinion don't know if it was because it was father's day so they made it in rush or if it always bad.
