This family dining restaurant is situated near the Dum Dum Railway Station. They serve multi-cuisine dishes at a medium to high cost. Serving time is quite less, which is a blessing!
Food is above average, 3.5/5. We ordered Dragon Fish, Mixed hakka noodles, Mutton Rara and Butter Naan. They have Baskin Robbins ice-cream for dessert, but the options are very limited.
Service is good, but feedback was taken too many times during the meal, which may feel interrupting at times.

Went to this place before the lockdown. Loved the clean and sober interrior. The food was good too. Especially the fish finger.
The fried rice was really well cooked and was extremely flavourful.
So was the chicken. Juicy, tender and flavourful.
The price to portion ratio is perfect as well! Loved it truly.

Went there days ago and when quarentine wasn't a thing. This place has bright and cozy ambience with amazing staffs giving great service. We had,

Fish fry - 5/5 ( was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside)

Regular mixed fried rice - 5/5 ( this has a very homly flavour and this was one of the best dishes here)

Whole fish with hot garlic sauce - 5/5

Special darsan cake - 5/5

Hot gulab jamun - 5/5 ( this one is to die for.. Very juicy, hot, soft... You will won't understand until you have this)

Hazelnut tini (drink) - 5/5

The quality and quantity they offer at the respective price, it's a win win for customers. Hope you guys will like this place too. Thank you

Perhaps the best place for having some awesome food in Dum Dum Area... They have plenty of seating arrangements available... Also the large transparent glass walls making the place bright and beautiful... Interior is pretty attractive... The staffs are very well trained... The use to give warm welcome to their each and every customers... Also the staffs are very courteous... It's very near to Dum Dum Metro Station so if you are traveling from Kolkata you need not to worry about the communication...
I had their food previously... That time I opted take away... And my experience was good that time... But this time as I opted dine in... I got blown away by the quality and quantity of food they are serving...
Here come the recommendations...
1. Paneer Malai Tikki
2. Tandoori Whole Bhetki
3. Murg Keshoba
From the starters... From the Main course you can go for...
1. Mix Meat Cantonese Noodles
2. Diced Chicken in Maple Chilli Sauce
3. Masala kulcha & Rara Chicken
And from the Dessert you can go for either of these...
1. Fried Ice Cream
2. Gulab Jamun
Go for any of these and you will never going to regret...
Pocket pinch here is very reasonable...

A couple of days ago,
We went for another Food Venture...
Darao Pathik Bor Dumdum
They offered us with a welcome drink...
In Frame:
Welcome Drink ( Probably Mazaa)
Paneer Rock and Roll as starter
And for the Main Course,
Murg Yakhni Pulao and Rara Chicken.
This is a renowned restaurant in DumDum with a 4.6 ratings on Zomato,
But l would not rate it more then 4.
The Reason is
The food was nice, both Starter and Main course.
But it doesn't justify the rating as well as the Cost...
The staffs were well behaved but
They took too much time in serving us the food..
We ordered the starter and had to wait 40-mins to get it.. And same for the Main Course..
We were simply sitting and chatting for more than an hour...
Even the other customers were leaving after having the starter only..
If you have a plenty of time in hands.. You can go and visit once..
But the price wont justify the food...

1.)Excellent Food - It is of Very good quality and tasty. I would love to recommend Kashmiri Pulao(my fav), chicken tandoori, Murg malai kebab, mixed fried rice, prawn malai curry, and paneer butter masala. Very few restaurants in Kolkata can provide such tasty dishes.
2.)Great Ambiance - The staffs are highly courteous and proper hygiene is maintained.
3.)Value for money - In this respect, if permitted, I would give a 6 star out of 5. While ordering, one should keep in mind that one serving of a dish is for approximately 2-3 people.
Had a great experience overall and have become a regular customer :)
I would highly recommend this restaurant, be it a date, a birthday party, a family gathering or even friend/family reunions. They have also opened a branch at Rajarhat where they have a banquet for larger ceremonies.
Go for it friend! :-)

Stop to eat or eat to stop? Explore more at Darao Pothik Bor

If you thought that Bengalis only prefer rice and fish curry for every meal, then it’s high time that you change your perception. A food lovers’ paradise, Kolkata and Kolkatans know how to appreciate and acknowledge other cultures as well as their cuisine. The presence of several delectable restaurants in Kolkata is proof enough of that. Kolkata and food are synonymous and as new restaurants open every other week, here’s introducing a well known name in North Kolkata food circuit - Darao Pothik Bor.

Where? The address reads Dum Dum Rd, Ghughudanga, South Dumdum. This is bang opposite Dum dum station on jessore Road.

What's it about?
DPB is a multi-cuisine restaurant that is famous for offering some of the finest north Indian delicacies. This large spacious eatery offers two storied seating arrangement with a casual and classy dine-in ambience. You can see the passing busy streets near Dumdum station, if you grab a windowside and surely you will fall in love with the citylights.

What's available? Talking about food, there are a number of choices—right from starters to desserts, everything is just delicious.

Starters:
Paneer malai tikka
Tandoori whole bhetki
Murg Keshoba

Mains:
Mix meat cantonese noodles
Chicken in maple chilli sauce
Masala kulcha
Rara chicken

Desserts:
Fried Ice cream
Gulab jamun

What you can't afford to miss?
Mix meat cantonese noodles - Pan-fried noodles are tossed in a light Asian sauce and topped with tender slices of chicken, prawn, egg and crisp vegetables. The best place to have your favorite gravy noodles.

Chicken in maple chilli sauce - Also renowned as General Tao's chicken, this is chicken done in an ecstactic maple and chilli sauce. The marinade is a lovely blend of soy, maple syrup and Sriracha sauce. The Sriracha is a Thai chilli sauce, with a good kick of spice and a hint of garlic.

Tandoori whole bhetki - Grilled Whole Fish With Tandoori Masala is a delicious Anglo-Indian delicacy. Whole fish marinated in tandoori spices is simply the best starter tried along with the green chutney served.

Murg Keshoba - succulent & flavorful chicken kababs, grilled to ecstasy on charcoal fire, this was simply irresistible.

Fried ice cream - This is a wonder dessert, vanilla ice cream with a crunchy coating done with cinnamon. This is served with whipped cream, chocolate chips and chocolate sauce. Too sinful to deluge into.

So if you one of them, who is craving for good food around the Dum dum area, Darao Pothik Bor is indeed a gem of the region.
Cheers!

I visited here few days ago I tried the Fish and chicken Items including Kebabs, CANTONESE noodles. This is the one and only where I felt some special taste I felt and that is in whole bhetki tandoor. I really like the taste and if I'll talk about the presentation then that also very nice and inspiring. In just pocket friendly budget they served all the food items with a unique taste. And the pure bhetki fish come with lots of indian and tandoor spices which are give you a royal taste. I really like their seating arrangement and restaurant ambiance. If you are fish lover or tandoor lover then in my opinion I'm telling that this is the perfect destination if you are thinking to go. Their hospitality and welcoming is so nice and so much awesome. Even they also maintained hygiene also which is most important part of this restaurant.
.
Items we tried:
Paneer malai tikki,
Tandoori whole bhetki,
Murg Keshoba
Main course-
Mix meat cantonese noodles+diced chicken in maple chilli sauce,
Masala kulcha+rara chicken,
Fresh lime soda,
Fried Ice cream /gulab jamun

Darao Pothik Bor is a multi cuisine restaurant located at dumdum area just couple of minutes walking distance from the metro station. They have sitting arrangement in both the floors. The comfortable long chairs along with bright light makes the ambiance soothing. It is made with a thick marination of authentic Indian spices along with yoghurt. The exotic flavors of spices all wrapped in the fish and make the fish really juicy and scrumptious. Murgh keshoba was another starter which was very delicious where the flavours were on point and the pieces were so tender. In main course we opted for gravy noodles along with slight spicy chicken in maple chilli sauce.

For the main course, we had Mix Noodles, Mapel Chicken, Murg Yakhmi Pulao, Rara Chicken and Masala Kulcha. The Murg Yakhmi Pulao and Rara Chicken was very tasty. Both were a bit spicy which enhanced its taste. Atlast for the desert, we had Fried Ice Cream and Gulab Jamun. The ambience was very good, suitable for families.

One of the nicest & cozy feeling dining places in north Kolkata.

Located just 2-3 min walking distance from the Dumdum metro/railway station, just on the main road.
They have ample seating area on both ground & 1st floors.
Also loved their interior decor & ambiance.

They have a variety of cuisines. So we went there to try chinese with a group of friends.

We got Fresh lime soda for drinks.

For starters,we ordered highly recommended Tandoori whole bhetki, Murgh keshoba & Paneer malai tikki.
Loved all three of them - Paneer tikki is my new fav paneer dish,a definite must try.

For mains,we ordered-
Mixed meat cantonese noodles with Diced chicken in maple sauce
Masal khulcha with Rara chicken

The noodle dish was really good, with adequate portion size.Diced chicken was really a good choice, loved their spice balance & slight crunch.
The khulcha was fresh & soft, and the Rara chicken was perfectly seasoned with big pieces of chicken.

For sweet endings,2 of us got their Fried ice cream, while the rest ordered Hot gulab jamuns. They were really very soft & melt in the mouth.

Had a wonderful dinner,so would highly recommend this place for a great dining experience.
P.S. They also provide hand sanitisers on the table for your hygiene, which I really loved.

Satisfy your hungerpangs at one of the finest multicuisine restaurant in Dum Dum @ Darao Pothik Bor.!

Located near Dum Dum station, Darao Pothik Bar is one kind of a multicuisine restaurant. Its no myth, how North Kolkata has been devoid of a good and proper restaurant all these years, serving varied kind of multicuisine food, something, which can keep up to the quality provided by the counterparts in mostly the Southern parts of this city. Darao Pothik Bor, promises to serve mouthwatering Indian, Chinese and Continental food to its patrons, with a flavour and quality unmatched and unparalleled to soothe the tastebuds of the foodies.

As you enter, you would find the captains and the hostesses greeting you with the humblest smile. You immediately feel a sense of affection and generate a bond with the place. The long chairs with the comfy cushions ease out the pain accumulated throughout the entire day, as you glance through the well-curated menu. For starters, we began with a soft gooey Paneer Malai Tikki. The cottage cheese was mashed to fine consistency, and then grilled to perfection, with almost minimum or no trace of oil. Succulent and creamy, it went well with the accompanied dip.

The Tandoor Whole Bhetki was a delight to feast upon. The flaky whole fish, marinated with spices, and grilled to perfection in a Tandoor grill. The smokiness of the coal, combined with the softness of the fish created a different mood for the evening altogether. The last starter of the day was Murgh Keshoba, boneless chicken portions marinated in cheese and once again cooked in Tandoor. The soft chunks of fish, when combined with the delectable cheese, was a close competitor to the succulent and exotic Taandoor Whole Bhetki.

For maincourse, we opted for mixed cantonese noodles along with diced chicken in maple chili sauce and masala kulcha with rara chicken. The mixed cantonese noodles had ample of vegetables and good amount of chicken, fried egg and prawns. Diced Chicken in maple chili sauce was once again a kicker, with the sweetness of the chicken hitting the tastebuds right away. The Rara Chicken was cooked in whole rustic spices, with the chicken stuffed and cooked with mutton keema. Combining with the Masala Kulcha, it was a trip to the wonderland.

For desserts, some of us opted for the Fried Ice Cream, while I chose the Gulab Jamun. The latter was well cooked, soft and succulent throughout. A plate of this comprised of two portions, and helped balance the sugar level we Bengalis so dearly crave for. The Fried Ice Cream looked wonderful too, with the molten icecream, perfectly cooked inside the batter, which was then fried until light brown. The sheer sight of the icecream dripping down, as one cuts through the crisp and hot batter, was a sight to behold.

Visited Darao Pothik Bor.
This is located at Dum Dum.
Speaking of the ambience, it was so well decorated and had an amazing glass view. It had an beautiful aquarium.
Ordered : Paneer Rock N Roll and Fish fingers as starters .
Murg yakini pulao and rara chicken as main course
Fried icecream as dessert .
Coming to the starters, it had an awesome taste . I would like to appreciate about the fish fingers. Made of pure bhetki, this simply melts in mouth . Just Wow!
Coming to the main course , murg yakini pulao and rara chicken was also good to be honest. I loved the flavour of the chicken so much. The aroma itself is mouthwatering.
And the most interesting part is the dessert. Yes we ordered fried ice cream. Simply a new concept. Ice cream stuffing inside breadcrumbs and with a shallow fry . Wow it was tasty too. I would suggest you to visit this place once. This is one of the best family restaurant i have ever visited.

For celebrating a reunion we a group of 4 went to Darao Pothik Bor for a lunching session 1st of all I am extremely impressed by the decor it gives a nostalgic touch of our forgotten Bengali culture and really loved the dress code of the staffs present who were warmly greeted us. Okay beginning with the food part which is the main thing For Starters We preferred to take Paneer Rock and Roll Fish finger For the Main Course as majority of us prefer to eat Chinese so we took Mixed Meat Hakka Noodles (extremely impressed by the shredded pieces of meat put in it) Maple Chicken (which is a fantastic side dish for non spicy lovers and it's a must try) For dessert A food is simply incomplete without desserts so we preferred to take Fried icecream here mango flavoured ice-cream is used. Very impressed by the quality and quantity of the food and would love to visit here once again

Darao pothik bor is one of the best multi cuisine restaurant near dumdum station . The interiors and ambience of this restaurant is just amazing. This place is very spacious and can accommodate 50-60+ people at a time.
This multicuisine restaurant is located just at a few minutes walk from dumdum metro or rail station and naturally very easy to access. One can opt for bus, train, metro to reach this place.

Firstly their hospitality is something that needs a special mention and at the same time their hospitality will win your heart and will surely bring you back again and again.
The interiors and ambience of this restaurant is just amazing.

This place is very spacious and offers huge sitting area that can accommodate 50-60+ people at a time. With beautiful interiors decors, fully air conditioned , live tv and sothing Old Bengali Songs played in the background will give a nostalgic feeling.

We started off with

•Tandoori chicken: The presentation of this dish was totally unique and interesting at the same time. It was served over a small grill with burning charcoals that gave the chicken a smooky flavour and the dish was cooked to perfection along with the usual spices . The portion of this dish was something that amazed me. (Highly Recommended)

• Crispy baby corn Soft, little spicy perfectly cooked baby corns again won my heart both in terms of its taste , quality and quantity.
• Mixed hakka noodles: The first thing that need to be mentioned about this dish is again the quantity served. This hakka noodles had ample amount of chicken pieces , prawns , eggs and veggies. Honestly it tasted superbbb.

•Kung pao chicken: This side dish again came up with a huge portion. The Kung pao chicken had small pieces of chicken , cashew nuts ,peppers and stir fried onions . It had exact amount of spices and sweetness and the chicken pieces cooked to perfection tasted genuinely great.

Ended the lunch with
•Fried Ice Cream: This dessert is made with scoop of mango ice cream and the outlayer was made with a cotation of breadcrumbs and then deep fried. The hot and cold combination of this dessert was a show stopper.

So you'll hardly find out such a multicuisine restaurant that will serve you such delectable dishes with this huge portions at a very affordable rate. Don't wait and just give this place a visit asap and enjoy their delicacies.

Recently I visited this restaurant and I must admit that this has been one of the best restaurant I've visited off late. The ambience and decor was simply outstanding. The staff were extremely Couteous and made sure that we are enjoying the meal. The service was absolutely top notch.
Now coming to what we had -
Tandoori Chicken - This was absolutely delicious and this is a must have when one visits the restaurant.

Spicy Creme Fish

Mixed Hakka Noodles - The taste was good and the quantity was good enough for 2-3 people.

Kung Pao Chicken - Once again, this was absolutely delectable.

Murgh Special Biriyani - The Biriyani was extremely well- cooked and it was slightly different than a regular biriyani but it was amazing.

Darao Pothik Bor Special Dak Bunglow

Fried Ice Cream

Now, one thing that I must mention is that both the quantity and Quality is equally good. This is by far the best restaurant in Dumdum Area.

Darao pothik bor is one of the best multi cuisine restaurant near dumdum junction. The Bengali term " darao pothik bor " was coined by Michael Madhusudan Dutta in one of his famous Bengali poems whose lines are still inscribed in his tomb . It literally means asking for the attention of people passing by . Similarly the restaurant has such a grand look from outside and it ask the pedestrians to stop and try this place out.

How to reach ?
It's just a few minutes walk from dumdum metro station or rail station , so it is very easily accessible both via metro and train . Every bus going towards dumdum will also get you to this place.

What to expect?
Their hospitality is their biggest strength , they know how to treat guests .
They have huge sitting capacity including both ground and first floor. Beautifully decorated place , fully air conditioned , live tv and some good music being played in the background that will surely win the heart of a true bengali .

How is the food?
Undoubtedly they excell in both chinese and Indian cuisine . We tried a few dishes from both of these and hardly I have anything to complain . Let's get into further details .

We kicked off with the popular tandoori chicken , served in a unique way , over a small grill with burning charcoal helping the skewered chicken , cook to perfection. It was served on the table , hot . There was an infused smokiness in it along with the usual spices . The portion was great . I enjoyed every bite of it .

Next I had their crispy baby corn which was again a winner in terms of both quantity and quality.

Moving to the mains , we tried Kung pao chicken and paired it with mixed halka noodles . Honestly speaking nobody will provide you with such a huge quantity at this price . The mixed halka noodles had lots of chicken , prawn , egg , veggies. The Kung pao chicken as it is supposed to be had small cubes of chicken , cashew nuts ,peppers and onions stir fried . Most probably the name of this dish has been derived from the name of a late Chinese official.

From the Indian section I had their special murg biryani with special dak bunglow . The biryani had two big pieces of chicken , one potato and on egg . Also it was served with a bowl of raita which again was refreshing and we'll prepared so this is more enough for a healthy person to satisfy his cravings if he tries it with their special dak bunglow which again comes with two chicken pieces , two mutton pieces and two eggs cooked in a rich , spicy , brown gravy . It's too heavy for one person so better be shared by two .

Finishing off with their fried ice cream , which isn't easily available everywhere which is made with scoop of mango ice cream coated with breadcrumbs and deep fried. This is to be served immediately as the ice cream inside will melt . This hot and cold combination is always a show stealer.

My picks would include the tandoori chicken , the special dak bunglow , Kung pao chicken and of course the fried ice cream is a must if you haven't tried it yet, this is the place where you would get it easily and at the cheapest price.

Darao Pothik Bor is a multicuisine family restaurant, that has been the centre of attraction at Dum Dum area ever since it's inauguration.
The restaurant owes its distinctive name to the lines of a remarkable poem by Michael Madhusudan Dutta. When translated to English it stands for 'attention pedestrians'

D.P.B. is located in close vicinity to the Dum Dum rail/metro station, a few minutes walk will lead you to the restaurant. While the ground floor serves South Indian food, the first floor offers a wide variety of multicuisine delicacies.
The staffs are extremely professional and hospitable. Starting from the warm greetings with "namaste", to changing of cutlery with each course, you can clearly observe their attention towards customer satisfaction.
The ambience is simple and modern, with well lit interiors and a sheer Indian touch in its decor.

Now let's a quick look at the food we tried at D.P.B. -
We started off with one of the most popular Indian appetizers, Tandoori chicken. The dish was presented in an unique manner, skewered over a deep vessel with live charcoal in it, which provides a dramatic presentation with smokey effect and also a mild smokiness in flavours. The chicken was tender and beautifully charred outside.

Next we went for Spicy creme fish. Boneless Basa fish fillets are tossed in a creamy, luscious sauce. The sauce was slightly on the sweeter side, and ofcouse spicy, owing to the green chillies used in the dish. The fish was soft and flaky.

For the main course we tried
Murgh special biriyani with DPB special Dak bunglow.
The Murgh biriyani had two large and sucullent pieces of chicken, a boiled egg and potato. The satisfying taste of authentic Kolkata style biriyani, without being too greasy. It was light and yet filling.
We paired it with one of their signature items, DPB special Dak Bunglow, which contains two pieces each of egg, mutton and chicken. The gravy was spicy and rich, the flavours were tantalizing, definitely something to look out for.

We ended our meal on a sweet note with the
Fried Ice cream. An offbeat dessert made by deep frying a breaded scoop of ice cream, creating a warm, crispy shell around the still-cold ice cream. It was a lovely blend of crispy deep fried exterior and soft, cold mango ice cream inside.

Overall I was satisfied with my dining experience at Darao Pothik Bor and would surely like to revisit soon.

Located on Dum Dum Road this place is perfect for dining with your loved ones. I was really impressed by their hospitality and ambience. They have managed the space inside very well. We ordered,

1. Tandoori Chicken - Recommended! One portion consists of one whole chicken cut in 4 parts, grilled to perfection and served on a live tandoor with salad and green chutney. The chicken was perfectly marinated and roasted. A must try!

2. Mixed Hakka Noodles - Recommended! One of the most filling bowls of noodles I've had in a long time. It had very generous quantities of veggies, chicken bits and large prawns. Quantity is enough for 2 people.

3. Hunan Chicken - Balls of chicken served in a Hunan gravy, perfectly paired with the noodles. The sauce was balanced and not too salty.

4. Fried Ice cream- Ended the perfect meal with this. They used Mango Ice Cream instead of plain vanilla which was indeed a nice twist.

I am highly impressed by their service and will visit again soon.

Yesterday i visited Darao Pothik Bor restaurant with my friends. This located 5 min walking distance from damdam metro/railway Station. Its eye pleasing ambiance and the courteous staff will surely attract the pothik bors ( travelers ) as the nane suggests. I loved their hospitality a lot.Right from entering the restaurant till the time of leaving you will definitely overwhelmed! Now coming to the food we started off with my all time favorite starter -
Chicken Tandoori- Well marinated, soft from inside, Portion was quite good
Crispy Baby Corn - Quantity was enough for a group to share. Had a Perfect crunch from outside , sweet from inside ,spicy pan fried from outside!
Spicy Cheme Fish - This was totally awesome. The fish was mouthmelting and the creme gravy enhanced the fish very well.

Now coming to the mains we tried their both Chinese and indian Cuisine which came out to be very satisfactory for me. In chinese we tried their mixed hakka noodles and kung pao chicken. Its a very authentic combination and yes the quality and the quantity of the foods was commendable. In indian we had their Special Murgh Biriyani that consists of two big pieces of chicken,Aloo ,egg..served with raita was totally a bliss. Along with the biriyani we had their DPB special Dakbanglow that comprises of two piece of mutton, two piece of chicken, two piece aloo and two piece egg. Its a complete dish itself which will definitely kick your taste buds to have more..!
We also tried two mocktails-Aampanna & curry patta shocker and Tangy mandarin kaffir lime. Both the mocktails were refreshing and Flavorful.
Finally ended with a sweet note by having Their fried ice cream. This was a bit different from other restaurants which i had before. Thin Fried Crumbs filled with Delicious mango flavored ice cream. I specially liked this fried ice a lot..

overall had a great experience..will visit here soon again!!!

Though they had tried to make the chicken dish tasty but the chicken was not fresh so it had a very foul smell. So except

Food quality is very good. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. When I visited there for the first time I did not know the quantity I was ordering, then the staff who was attending me told me that It would be a lot more food than we can eat and adjusted the order. I'm very happy with this place and will go there whenever I can. 100% recommend but keep in mind It would be approx Rs. 700-800 for two people.

This is a very luxurious restaurant, and probably the only one of its kind, in the entire stretch of Dum dum Road. The ambience is good, and the attendants are very amiable and hospitable. They always helped every time, be it opening the door to serving the food. The food is very delicious and tasty.family friendly place, also not bad for dating or friends outing. The place is a bit overpriced, but as a whole it's not bad.

Starting with the location of restaurant is dum dum and very close to dum dum junction station towards Nagerbazar. Then, telling about the food that is Excellent quality and portion is good as well but yes overpriced. No doubt Ambience is really good. I must tell that the staffs were really proper dressed with well behaved, nice and courteous. And yes the started a new policy if you are visiting first time and want to any discount on your bill then they will be give you a coupon card that will be applicable for your next visit time and have to cary the card till validate day. And yes another thing is they are not provided any regular water instead of water bottle which you have to buy that one. I loved the food as that was the prime concern for me being a foodie. Waiting to visit again. We had - 1. Clear Chicken Coriander 2. Three Way Chicken less butter 3. Fish Malai Kebab

A very nice place located within near proximity of Dumdum junction & metro station. The food was good. We had ordered many dishes in starters as well as in main course. All food were good and well prepared. Then have many options in veg, chicken & mutton. Will recommend Murgh Yakhni pulao, Registani murgh & Angara chicken tikka. The staff was helpful. Cleanliness was really good. Prices are on a higher side but reasonable with the quality of service & taste they provide.

They serve tasty foods. Bengali dishes as well as chinese dishes, all are good. Food quantity is good enough. Location is nice, nearer to Dumdum Junction. One negative point: they should have some more variety of desserts and mocktails.

It was a good experience. We ordered - Fish Malai Kebab (must try) - DBP special Chicken (starter, average, not so special) - Kulcha was good - Chicken Dak Bungalow was very good. The price per person is around ₹400-₹500 . Some items are overpriced though overall taste was good.
