Tried all the chicken items available my favourite being chicken tandoori. Chicken tikka and chicken teriyaki are worth mentioning as well.. chicken roast feels a little dry.!! Avoid the sour items little to no olives as they might become too overbearing. Almost all breads are nice my favourite being the multi grain one. Veg options are decent as well..
Tried ham burger.. It's too yummy.. Ambience was nice of course. I will definitely rate this 5 because of the tasty burger. Will surely visit again some day for sure.
Ordered roasted chicken sub and Turkey sub for dinner.Both were good and healthy.My personal favourite was the turkey sub the thin slices of were juicy and just melted in the mouth.The bread I choose was toasted parmesan oregano was also crispy and hearthy.Overall it was a satisfying meal for a foodie.
When your insatiability meets your favourite outlet,it is bound to be firecrackers.Had gone to meet Author Amish Tripathi and after you hear will all your heart,you gotta eat with all your pocket.Checked in with a friend to eat a few loaves filled with baked eggs and chicken strips ,bathed in mayo and mustard.It is bound to be filling when you are surrounded with beauties(read food,food).

All the items are as heavy as a meal! This outlet is often crowded as the south city food court in itself is very crowded and that's when the service gets slow!
Located in the food court of South city Mall this subway like any other outlets across the city serves fresh food, friendly staff. The sub tasted good but my only concern is the packing, it was not done properly.
Subs have always been a personal favourite and subway outlets are the places in Kolkata offering a variety of options in subs. We ordered a chicken ham sub which was loaded with chicken and ham. It was tasty enough, but was too small considering the price tbh
I m a fan of subway. I always visit subway when I go to South City. The best thing is their fresh burgers. They make it in front of of us and we can choose bread, sauces, toppings etc. Its fresh and healthy.
Subway is one of the most favourite outlet in southcity mall.. i liked their sub.. i am a regular visitor there.. i likw the roasted chicken sub chicken seekh and chicken ham..
I am not a subway fan, I hardly visited this place 3-4 times but whatever they server it's fresh and that's amazing.
They don't require a food court card and that's good in a way.
Service is nice and they will help you and guide you with the options.
Roasted chicken sub, and tuna salad are my favourites.
Subway is always fresh n healthy . Best part is you dont need a separate food court card for it , you can pay there directly . Its like making you sub your own eay. Staff polite enough. They have their own seperate tables .

First of all this restaurant is very good center for healthy food seekers. In our daily life we had to follow our diet chart and subway can help you to do it. I prefer to choose it as my lunch center and I can say they make very good subs, wraps & salad.
1. Bread- They have two kinds of breads to offer, white & brown. Off course brown is more healthy option. And every time they will ask you about your bread choice. I guess they need to have oat bread as a choice for more healthy diets.
2. Meat - Now after selecting bread they have three types of meat options chicken,turkey & tuna fish. All are equally good.My personal preference is Turkey. In meats they also have two types of options, spicy Indian type or non spicy type. Choice is your, healthy vs tasty.
3. Veg- They will provide a lots of vegetables in their sandwiches, which are fresh and good in quality. Also they put them in front of you by asking each and every time.
4. ketch up- They have different ketch up options as per your need. But generally they have two options here, spicy or non spicy. Believe me guys non spicy ketch up is also tasty.
5. Salad- They have a very fresh salad items both in veg and non veg. If you a salad lover person then one plate is enough for you .They have raw olives, and other costly items in their salad. Very healthy in nature.
So guys, if you are looking for a healthy and high calorie food hub then subway in south city mall can really be your choice. And they don't accept food court card, they only accept cash & cards.
I have recently been here. A good place as usual with fresh food. I tried two sandwiches chicken - tuna and chicken - turkey. I got all toppings in both of them. The roasted piece of chicken was very different. It is smokey but with creamy texture , not spicy. Mashed Tuna and Turkey,mixed with mayonnaise created the perfect yummmm! I am an eternal fan of their endless toppings like salami, black olive, pickled jalepeno, lattuce, mayo sauce fresh veggies. If one prefers fresh and less spicy food there's no better place than this. Price may seem little stiff to some though. These fully loaded two sandwiches cost me 600 plus.Eat fresh stay healthy.
Located in South City Mall, this outlet of Subway is one stop choice for us. We always end up having lunch from here after shopping.
Staffs are already familiar with our faces by now. They are courteous and service is quick.

Another sit and binge option with friends at this food court. Take your own option and fillings and eat your way. Never been a fan of subway in my life but tried couple of things sometimes with friends and it was good.

We had a turkey and chicken ham sub with roasted chicken. It was yummy. The sauces and the fresh vegetables add the extra cherry to the subs.
During my visit at south city mall whenever I get a chance order a chicken/ veg sandwich.. If you order The egg/ egg ham it will cost you more than the plate..
This place is my all time go to. Been a regular here for years now. Situated at the top floor of South city mall, this place has a great service. Almost tried all the subs available but my favorite will be Italian BMT. With variety of bread, veggies and dressing to choose from this place is definitely a hit. Price is reasonable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ALL OF YOU.
Looking for some healthy and tasty snack when in a mall? Look no further than good ol' Subway! I like this franchise a lot. I have had the Italian BMT sandwich from here and it was very good. The slices of different types of meat along with the veggies and sauces made for a pretty good sandwich. Recommended, although I would be happier if they were priced a little lower :-)
If you are looking for some healthy food at resonable prices after a long spell of work, subway is the place to be! The "sub of the day" is one of the main attractions. Among the subs, Italian BMT, Turkey & Chicken Ham & Chicken Tikka are my favourites! The dark chocolate cookie is also delicious! Chicken tikka is served as the sub of the day on fridays.
South City Mall have been a place for hangouts during my college days. However, it was not until recently I decided to drop in by Subway.
It is located on the Food Court of the place and positions itself in one of the corner.
I remember ordering for Tuna Fish which was as perfect as it ever will be.
The staffs are courteous and the place is enjoyable. However, been a part of the Food Court, it does not have any separate seating arrangement.
A recommended visit.

Before taking my flight to Pune, I came here with my fiancée Anusmita to meet her one last time. We ordered a Chicken Sub with all the possible toppings. The Sub was great and to quench our thirst we took a coke as well.
Whenever I want to have a freshly made sandwich I look forward to this franchise for it. The freshly made 4 types of break which I look forward for my sandwich. Seating space at this joint is bigger than any other subway joint I have visited. But the service at this joint is not upto the mark.
Healthy food as always.... With lots of fresh vegetables.... but lately they have started changing high taxes... Quantity is real good... :)

The subway is a unique concept and one of a kind eatery. They provide healthy options for calorie concious people both in term of their sub salads and sub sandwiches.
Nothing to talk about the ambience as they have a fairly basic setup everywhere. Clean and hygienic.
Coming to the food, they serve a wide variety of subs and salads. I have tried their italian BLT , chicken ham, chicken tandoori, subway club and a few others.
U can choose from either a whole wheat bread or a multigrain bread. U can also choose your condiments in addition to the meat. Each subway variant has its own combination of meat ranging from cold chicken breast to pepperoni, ham, salami , chicken tikka, chicken tandoori ,chicken patty and others. Accompanied by a slice of cheese and load of inhouse sauces and mayoneese. U can customize it to ur own palate.
The subway salads are really refreshing to taste. They have a lot of veggies, shredded meat (depending on the variant u choose) , cheese and sauces. Will prefer them over the sub sandwiches any day.
However i wud suggest u to avoid the subway wraps as they are bland in taste nd not worth the money charged. A cut of chicken breast with veggies nd sauce wrapped in a flour tortilla. Strictly average.
Barring from the cheese nd sauces, they are really light and low on calories. Very healthy nd tasty at the same time. I wud recommend subway once in a while!
However cost is on the higher side.
'SUBWAY' is the synonym for fresh veggies,less oil and spice and healthy stuffs all together. ☺
The best part about the SCM outlet of this sandwich hub is the pretty red chairs and the li'l wooden tables.
Each sub is loaded with freshness and unique flavours.
The latest sub-wraps & peri peri sub combo goes easy on pockets.
Overall,a great place to try if you care about your health but want your meal to be yum ! 😉

This is one of the brand that has been maintaining its quality since its launch since DAY1. Love their wide variations of sub filling from time to time.
Just walking at the food corner , thinking what to taste .Was confused among sizzlers , pizza or a sub. Decided to taste a sub from subway. Ordered a Italian B.M.T with 3 add on, 1. roasted chicken 2. chicken seekh and 3. turkey . All total the sub was totally great with all those add ones and vegetable and sauce. Totally loved it. Though after taking a bite forgot to take a picture of it. So no pictures.

Subway has truely showed us a new lifestyle. When we once had only high fat pizzas and burgers, subway showed us another alternative that was healthy too! Been in love with it since. The sauce options are tasty and the toppings are almost always fresh. If you are a fitness freak and count each calorie you consume, they do have a chart showing you the same against each item! The south city outlet has very friendly staff.
I am a sub-lover. However I have been in this joint just once. Experience is you have to first ask the person to prepare your sub and you will be billed accordingly, like any other outlet. However the person who made my sub dint mention which subs are for extra charge. So had an almost normal sub at a much higher price.
May be a mis-communication. The sub-wraps are quite cheap and tasty too.
The cold drinks costs too much so better have it from outside or KFC
I've tasted subs from a few other outlets in the city and this is perhaps one of the best. I've always had a soft corner for Subway when it comes to fast food. The subs are all mostly mindblowing. What I like about them is their choice of customisation and the freshest of vegetables used as fillings. Have had great experiences here and hope to in the future! :)
After much discussion we thought of giving KFC a miss and landed up in this Subway outlet to celebrate the homecoming of my BFF.We were a group of 4 people and ordered a Roasted Chicken Salad along with a Turkey and Chicken Ham Salad. They were delicious... mixed with all right kind of sauces and fresh veggies. We opted for extra cheese @Rs10/slice which I feel is pretty reasonable.Wish they had put in a bit more of chicken in the salads. Our bill came to Rs524.
Simply love this outlet of subway. Located in south city mall they serve great subs. Staff is friendly...and cooperative. I have been here a number of times and have no complaints. The aubs are all good and they sauces which can be customised makes it even more mouth watering. Great experience.

Positioned in the food court, amongst many food joints this is one of the bests serving their delicious subs. Service is nice, they are pretty fast.
Subway is situated on the food court (third floor) of South City Mall, opposite KFC section.
Subway is known for its juicy, flavourful subs. This joint does not fail to meet our expectations. However, one major downer would be that this Subway does not for certain reason heat up buns before serving. I've been to this joint many times. I've always been served cold subs. The flavour and taste is there. But the not heating up part is a major let down.

Other subs are equally as good as these. But the above four listed are my favourites and works for people with a more Indianized palette.
I decided to have their Roasted Chicken sub, for lunch, today. Since it's a wednesday, it was also their sub of the day and I got it for pretty cheap. I got a layer of chicken salami added. It was overall pretty loaded, and I quite liked it. However, I like my subs absolutely dripping in their mixture of sauces. That is, in fact, the best part of a sub. Even though I asked the employee to add all the sauces but one, this one did not have as much sauce as I would have liked it to, which made my experience a little less pleasing. It was a good sub, just not the best that I have had.
Also, the sticker which provides the choice of breads, veggies and sauces was missing in this outlet. It is just so much easier to construct a sub with the options written clearly in front. I would request them to please bring that back.
Probably the most profitable subway outlet in kolkata. I always find customers waiting to take their order which is not the case in other outlet.you have standbin queue sometimes over weekend! Service was fast! But all the breads were not available while i placed the order. But it was well prepared
Well the kind of stuff they sell, success purely depends on the freshness of the ingredients and a high selling outlet like this is always likely to have the freshest of stuff....with the bread to the filling and sauces, the choices are innumerable and they have creted a niche of giding the customer to how they prefer their subs to be made....a 6inch sub is well worth the price given the stuffing they pt in, they only charge 10bucks for extra slice of cheese which is just great.....
the only part that i dont like is the gimmick of adding extra with a hurried rate of speech in explaning the customers and then charging them extra....thats a smart unethical tactic bt the problem is everyone does that today in these kind of fast food outlets and one has to be careful....a 160 bucks sub can become 300 easily if you are not :)).....
Just had an Italian BMT with almost every add on available and every sauce, veggies et all....and for all the obnoxiously big effort just ₹370....
Always enjoyed one more thing about them, they let you choose and configure your combo, love it....

South City Subway after a long time. We had the Roasted chicken and Chicken tikka sub with extra pepperoni. The taste, as usual, was consistent, with plentiful fresh veggies and an abundance of meat for a carnivore like me. Just one complain - do provide those wonderful breads which were once my favorites, like the Parmessan Oregano, or the Multi grain. The white or brown options are too boring. All in all, a good experience yet again. I believe this is my first positive review for this outlet. Thanks for the Sub of the Day @99 offer on the Roasted chicken sub.

Tried the sub of the day.It was gud but unfortunately dey stoppd using barbeque sauce in the sub. The staffs were friendly enough and served us quickly.
Been to other Subway outlet in Kasba and in CCD 2. Love both their subs and salad, especially their roasted chicken sub and turkey and chicken ham club.
The staffs of this joint introduced me to their veg salad with every veg items available with them and with sweet onion, mustard and mayo dressing. With tax - a whooping 500. But the amount worth it. It was fulfilling, tasty and nutritious. The quantity was enough for three of us. Definitely, I'm going to have it again someday.
Located at one end of the food court of south city mall, subways stands tall, away from the other bustling fast food chain stores. It was my first visit to a subway joint in kolkata and was a bit confused to order. On the recommendation of the staff, i ordered their sub of the day, roasted chicken. I would like to thank the staff for introducing me to this heavenly creation. Pieces of rosted chicken along with melted cheese and loaded with crunchy and fresh veggies was simply amazing! And moreover it was just for 99! Truly tasty...
I have been to Subway a couple of times and found this to be one of the better ones. The guys at the counter were very polite and courteous. We went for the Chicken,Ham,Egg and Cheese sub. We ordered 2 of these for 3people. Needless to say, the subs were too large for us. We had to struggle to eat it all. The taste was delicious, a bit sweet though due to the presence of Egg. All in all, it was a wholesome meal. Hope to visit soon.

Another usual subway! Had a good experience here... The staffs were efficient, they made my chicken tandoori salad with extra roast chicken exactly as Instructed. The service was fast too. I picked up a cookie along with my salad which was delicious! Would re-visit as and when I get a chance.
I always liked their concept of promoting intake of healthy veggies by making them tasty with their in house customized sauces. My personal favorite here is the Mixed Chicken Salad which tastes awesome and each of the ingredients perfectly compliments the other. The Chicken tandoori has the best taste among the cooked chicken fillers and goes very well with the sauces infused in the salad. The sandwiches are also worth consuming ! The staffs are courteous and the service is pretty quick and decent. The only drawback being they don't accept cards below 500 bucks, which is a kind of disappointment for me. All in all, a highly recommended place if you are around.

I have been to this outlet few months earlier..don't know how I forgot to give a review. Well so I am generally a KFC fan,whenever we reach the food court my eyes are stuck to the KFC counter and I blindly follow them. But that time my friends were determined to make me a visit to SUBWAY. It's been 2-3 months, so I can't clearly remember the names of what we ordered. Basically 2-3 non veg subs,salads,cookies and coke...that's all we had. Their service was fast,and the food was really fresh,crunchy,juicy,tasteful. What I liked the most is the freshness of the ingredients they used, whatever it is the sub or the capsicum, carrots,chicken chunks all were so fresh,good in quantity and tasted delicious with combination of meonis,mustard sos & cheese. The salads were also good,as it contained the same ingredients except the sub. Overall a very good experience, going to visit Subway soon. :)

Tried a Italian BMT. Crunchy and juicy meat accompanied with fresh veggies. The combination of sauces made the sub quite delectable.
Although people say that all subway outlets are & serve homogeneous food, I beg to differ. The subtle difference comes from the freshness of the ingredients & the assembling of the sub. By far, this outlet has been my favourite as it has never dissappointed me. The food here always feels fresh, the service is quick & the subs feel moist & flavourful.

I bet you do. I stay close to South City Mall, so this one is the nearest to my place. I personally love the stand alone outlet at Elgin, for it's a big one with nice ambiance. It's a place where you can hangout with your folks or chill within a budget, thereby eating healthy. So, I always ask my friends to meet me at Subway, based on the location. Even though, there is KFC and Pizza Hut, around you at the mall, it makes no difference to me. I'll choose you. I love the Roasted Chicken sandwich and Turkey one, the most. The way you guys have improved over the years is damn commendable. The quality of sandwiches are worth the price, you pay. The vegetables are fresh. The sauces are too good. We get to customize our sandwiches. I have not tried the veg sandwiches ,yet, but I will , in no time. I solemnly stick to multi grain bread, but it's time I explore you more, Subway.

This small joint is located at south city food court. One of the costliest place i have been into. Nevertheless their hospitality and quality and quantity of food makes me crave for visiting that place once again.
Never figured out why people don't like Subway as much. I love a good Italian B.M.T. with all the condiments. They'll charge extra for the additional toppings, true, but it tastes good. And that's enough for me.

I love their subs where you need to choose the sauces very carefully according to your taste buds. I am a big honey mustard sauce liver and tend to use it along with others.
Roasted chicken salad is a must try if you are trying salads in subway. They always serves fresh food which I like about them the most.
Service of this outlet is commendable as it's always crowed even in weekdays sometimes as well. I had good experience everytime visited the place.

It has got its own seating arrangements plus the extra space of the food court, so you can enjoy ur sub on any given day.
Service is real quick.
The only prob is, everytime i ask them to make my sub spicy they make it somewhat sweet.
i have always been a super fan of Subway , and this outlet has been my max visit one in Kolkata. It is located on the top floor of South City mall and has some dedicated seating area in the food court. Also, adding to that is the low number of restaurants on that side, making it easy to find a seat in that section.
Another bonus is that they accept cash payments compared to the stupid card payment system of other restaurants in the food court.
The food, as always is fresh and tasty. At times they are not able to provide the bread we ask for thou.
Overall a good experience!
I am Subway fan , I suppose I have tried all the sandwiches they offer. But three suggestions avoid excessive Indianiztion of the sandwiches and do relook at the price tag and increase the range/variety for the "sub of the day".

Today I went to this outlet with nearbuy voucher which gives 50 prcnt of on a sub/salad on buying 2 sub/salad with a 500 ml drink..so ordered one chicken tikka & one chicken tandoori in oregano bread with all salads,extra cheese & extra chicken ham, mayonnaise honey mustard...the service was quick and fillings were awesome...

You get to choose from their range of freshly baked breads: Oregano,Hearty Italian, Garlic, multigrain. I usually go for the Garlic or Oregano. All are equally good. Depends on your taste buds which bread which bread you opt for.
They offer a wide range of sauces to make your sub the way you want: light, spicy, hot or minty anything you like. The combination of thousand island, mayonnaise, honey mustard and sweet onion is the combo I go for!
One add on of this place is these amazing cookies you get, if you tell them they will bake it for 30 seconds and oh wow! The best chocolate chip cookie to indulge yourself into after a healthy sub meal!
I end up visiting this place every time I go for shopping or just to hang out with friends in South City mall. Some times we even go there just to have these amazing subs! You just can't have enough of those! :)

I tried the newly introduced subwrap-chicken. Turned out to be quite small in size but loaded with fresh ingredients like chicken strips- 3 to be precise, slices of tomato, onion, crunchy lettuce and harissa sauce. All wrapped in a tortilla. Being small it does not bore u, rather u crave for more...
I have always preferred Subway over all the other American imports such as McDonalds and KFC just for the reason that Subway provides more fresh items than its competitors . I went to this place on 1st January so there was a huge crowd in the food court which kind of damped the mood but the sub was fantastic. My personal favourites are the chicken tikka and chicken achari.
This outlet is architecturally very sound, with an open ambience. The location of the place is very strategically sound in the food court. We ordered 2 Italian B.M.T's and a paneer tikka sub which were all upto the mark.
Subway is one of the places where one can satisfy his hunger within few bucks!
Specially I prefer their "sub of the day" scheme...the chicken tikka and tandoori and roasted are mainly the tasty ones...
Also it offers customized burgers...so that's a plus point.
So when by paying less you go back with a happy tummy that's obviously a place I would recommend!
Have been a great fan of Subway since my friends introduced me to it. This place needs no introduction. The subs and the salads are just stupendous. Add to it the great service. The fillings are just so fresh all the time that they leave a great taste in the mouth. And you can customize according to your personal taste and requirements. They have a variety of sauces and bread, all this so that you can have your own unique flavour.The pocket pinch is marginally higher compared to other places (however it doesn't hurt a lot).
Subway...your own customized outlet for burgers...the variety of sauce and bread is worth a try...choose wisely the sauce though I choose almost all of them barring one or two :P
A nice place to hang out with friends. In addition, the ambience adds more to it, with cool service people and good food, I do visit here whenever am nearby.
Need nothing to mention about the place... gr8 staffs with gr8 service... I never got disheartened whenever I have the subs from here... the ingredients are fresh always... pocket pinch same as other subway outlets...
What new to add for subway? Like other outlets its also delicious n tasty. Its being natural destination when ever i visit south city. Egg n cheese is fav on my part.
Well, Subway at Southcity was as usual as any other subway stores with their standardised product offerings and services.
We had Roasted Chicken and it was good.
It's at the food court in Southcity so little crowded apart from that all
The subs are good, just like in any other subway, service gets delayed once the crowd kicks in. The servers are nice and polite.Prices are somewhat cheap.Nothing extraordinary compared to the other subway outlets.
Good subs at low prices....nothing new to add abt this all-so-popular american sub chain.....choose your own set of bread and fillings..and definitely the sauces......order a drink or a cookie and enjoy !!...
The staffs are so polite and the the foods are so good and healthy they have many veg options as well as non veg and good drinks combo 200-400is good for 2 person
Just like any other subway they will offer you the same menu and everything is available. I do have a tendency to choose wraps over sandwiches but it's not like sandwiches doesn't tastes good. They do give healthy stuffs and yeah this will be the only outlet in the mall providing that requirement.
Of you're going for a double meat sub, try the grilled chicken and chicken teriyaki together. And mayo. Lots of mayo.
Different types of multi cusine available to choose from and the place is best for having meet ups ,etc

This place has the potential to serve healthy so should be the go-to place for fitness freaks! Patient staff and the food is ready in a few minutes right in front of you. Ideal for people on office duty with less time on their hands.
