If you love bengali cuisine, then you should visit this place at least for once.. We took their special fish fry which consists of two fries. Then we took basanti polao and kosha chicken.. Each and every item tastes heavenly. But I feel the price is higher than the quantity.. Service was too good.. But the place is very small.. But I must say I enjoyed every food and will visit again..
Visited this place to treat my mother. She always likes to go to Bengali Cuisine restaurants. And no doubt she was happy with the taste and service. Of course I was happy too. The Kosha Murgi and Lachcha Porota tasted heavenly together as we were pretty hungry. The people there were very welcoming and served with proper care.
Yet another dive to one of the Bengali delicacy serving restaurant in the town.
-Koshe Kosha.
The name is quite different and the taste too. Been there few weeks back and the experience we had was superb. Ordered so many things in the night and they delivered each and everything hot and steamy. We liked the garnished food and all the beverages. They were fantastic!
The very scrumptious Kakra (Crab) got me with its mouth-watering taste. The apfrodisiac blend of foods really bring smile on our face. The staffs were quite welcoming and courteous. We were delighted. Although, there were no restroom probably. That's kind of a bummer in my sense. So, at the end if you want to dive in a Bengali cuisine ocean, you could visit Koshe Kosha and have your best time there. 🍗🍮🍛
Price was way too high but the food quality was good. If you love Bengali food you're welcome
Food was not so good like other branches and quantity was somehow less than our experience in other branches. They served in paper and thermocol plates instead of proper plates and utensils.
A space constraint is there as the table can only accommodate 2 people rather than 4 persons.
Food was really great. Top notch. No complaints.
Service was okay. A server was walking to and fro continuously which was a little bothersome.
Price is a little on the higher side given the quality.
Authentic Bengali food . Great quality and good ambience. Staff are their also very good. Must visit
Good food, good atmosphere, well service.
Few days ago i went to koshe kosha restrurent for lunch. This restrurent situated at the Hatibagan, Kolkata. We took "Maharaja Thali" and it was shareable and non - veg thali. Non- veg items more option was there. There is an option to take non-veg items of your choice. Food quality was too good. The behavior of the staff was also very good. Bengali Traditiona touched in the every corners of this restrurent.
The food is good. But this outlet of hatibagan is so much congested. Even going in and out from the main door was problematic even for an average built person.
The space was small but tasty and the quality was good.
Had bhetki fry one of their signature fish which was very crunchy and tasty with the kasundi and the tomato sauce.
Then I had basonti polao with chicken kosa.
Polao was full of kaju and kismis with a good flavour of ghee. Also the chicken kasa was very tasty.
But with respect to the price the quantity of the food was compromised and the size of the chickens was also very small with bones. Mostly chicken pieces have no meat on it.
And some menu items was not available at that particular time.
It does a real justice to the taste of Bengali cuisines. Ample variety of typical Bengali foods are available here. Here non veg items are mainly popular. Along with all the items, special mention is deserved by basanti polaw, chital macher muithha and mochar ghonto. Mutton items are comparatively more spicy than being tasty. The only drawback of this restaurant is, it's very small and sitting arrangements are also not very comfortable owing to less leg rooms. They cannot club the tables due to less spaces to serve, but a good destination for tasting ideal bengali cuisines in the heart of North Kolkata situated by the Bidhan Sarani.
