Visited Khanasutra a few days back to try out their varieties of kebabs and Biryanis and I was so impressed by the overall experience! I tried their malabari Murg and sufiyana mutton Biryani. I loved the Sufiyana Biryani. It was so good that I can't wait to try it again. I also tried a few variety of kebabs and their veg kebabs were as good as the non veg ones. The fish tikka kebab was a hit. And lastly, I absolutely loved the Shahi tukda and firni. The Shahi tukda is must try. It was really good. I had a fantastic experience and even the staffs were so courteous. Physical distancing and precautions were maintained.

The ilish they are using is really fresh 😋 I tried many of their preparation but my favourites are - Ilish Momo , sorshe ilish and smoked boneless ilish with rice pilaf 😍 In each preparation of ilish you will get two decent size cuts from ilish 😋

Khanasutra Park Prime presents Dawaat - An Exclusive Kebab and Biryani Food Festival For City of Joy Something familiar yet much different than the usual conventional recepies, this festival showcases a mouth-watering array of delicious preparations which are an amalgamation of Nizami , Awadhi and Mughlai cuisine. The restaurant itself doesn’t belong to the most popular places in town but surely has the potential to be one. It is time that they get their deserving appreciation. Located just opposite to La Martiniere for boys school at Park Circus beck bagan crossing, its not at all difficult to find. Khanasutra is located on the first floor of this hotel and the entire property looks beautiful. So when is the offer? This festival is running from 24th December to 10th January 2021 What to try ? Malabari Murgh/ mutton biryani is definitely what you should try out first. The flavours of the south along with your very own biryani will definitely leave you crave for more. The Sufiyana Biryani is yet another notable mention which is make of milk and almond paste and is devoid of any chillies but yet is won’t fail to impress you. It is light and the mutton pieces in it leave a long lasting impression. For the vegetarians there are plenty of options. Soya kofta Biryani, kathal biryani, khumb bori biryani , kala moti biryani , subz dum biryani, paneer tikka biryani. So there are more options in veg than in non veg which definitely talks about the skills of the chefs at Khanasutra. Biryanis come along with a salan. From the kebabs section the mutton Koobdieh looked very tempting and delivered in terms of flavours as well. It has minced meat prepared in saffron and lime juice. The kalmi kebab was again impressive with tender chicken leg piece marinated with lots of spices and grilled to perfection. The Pomfret nawabi , another out of the box preparation was beautifully finished with lucknowi spices. From the vegetarian section, vegetable Nizami kebab was heavenly impressive. Small circular veg kebabs made with seasoned vegetables and coated with poppy seeds and deep fried the poppy seeds acted as an additional layer of crispiness. The dehi ke angari will definable make you drool with its simplicity, made with potato and cream cheese this kebab was also a stand out. From the desserts nolen gurer sahi tukda and gajar ka halka will take care of your sweet ending. About the price? The prices of the vegetarian kebabs start from 250 and goes upto 300 while the non vegetarian kebabs are priced in the range of 350 -500. Biryanis are priced only at the range of 200 to 325. Desserts are priced at 150.
