Being a pastry lover this place is marked as one of my favourites now. My bf took me this place on my birthday for cakes offcourse. And instead of having one big cake i preferred having 2 small cakes. Those were Cheesecake and the other one was Choco Crunch or something (not sure about the name). The choco things tasted DEVINE. It was all chocolate and with a crunchy surprise inside. I know it's not a brand new concept, but trust me it's worth to try it here. And as for the cheesecake, i wouldn't say much. There was nothing special about cheesecake. Cheesecakes are always good. So was it. But if you are paying 350-400 for a piece of cake then you somewhere expect that to be differently better than what you had earlier. Don't you?? Well I toh DO. Pastries are expensive for sure, but kinda worth it. As for the ambiance, i would say, very good for a small date. Cute and beautiful place. Sophisticated. Your date will be impressed with your choice of place. Good luck with the date and if you are not reading my review for taking your date out, then good luck for life. Peace✌🏻

They have the wide variety of scrumptious desserts ever. They usually don't do delivery but went extra mile during the lockdown days to deliver . Great team and amazing place to order from. This is a small cafe located in russel street. But, the desserts are WOW. It maybe overpriced for the size they offer, but totally worth it. We ordered a salted caramel tart. Man!! It looks small but is very heavy. Delicious and soo goeey. The cheesecake is just perfect with the most amazing texture. Dark chocolate tart is sooo chocolatey that you may feel it's a chocolate overdose.The taste of their desserts justify the quality of ingredients they are using. So if you wanna have some yummy desserts and are prepared for a little pocket pinch just gooooo for it!!

🍷The imported original red wine had a beautiful fragrance which attracted flies, indicating that it was made with raw fruits. At first it had a slightly bitter taste, but after sipping it down it had a warm feeling in the throat. Though with time the fragrance and warming effect was mellowed down.
🧀The cheese platter consisted of a variety of cheese, although I can't remember all the names, but each one of them tasted delightful. There was this one accidentally made cheese which became my favourite among the rest.
✨The place is very aesthetically pleasing, but the presence of the owner who was a beautiful and friendly German woman made it more special.

Dark chocolate and owl city can be a deadly combination and Franziska has made it happen by providing me with the ultimate dessert after any meal with imported Belgian chocolate desserts. The delice was beautiful and was so chocolatey. Waiting to try the cheesecake sooner.
I came across Pâtisserie by Franziska on Instagram and I loved their pictures of food. My sister and me were just eager to try the food especially Eclairs. Finally yesterday, we went to this cute and aesthetic cafe at Park Street.
We had Belgian Chocolate Eclair and Vanilla Eclair and both the Eclairs were really delicious and so rich and creamy. It was our first time trying Eclairs. The staffs are polite and friendly at this place. The price is a bit on the higher side still it's worth visiting. I would highly recommend it to people to try the food out here. We absolutely had a great time, clicked some pictures and enjoyed our food. I would love to visit Pâtisserie by Franziska again 💜

I was happy to see the long pending expansion is now a reality - from that small space - they have now taken additional space on the first floor with ample seating capacity and a functional wine bar as well..
We sipped on #LatteMacchiato & #BelgianChocolateColdCoffee (the most chocolicious coffee i have ever had).. We also gorged on #PureBelgianChocolateDelice - chocolate delice & mousse enrobed in a layer of chocolate topped with cocoa nibs - pure gastronomical bliss 😍.. Every bite was a heavenly affair..

So i am a foodblogger love to discover new foods and cuisines had heard alot about this place wanted to try out all the desserts it displayed. So bought 2 different eclairs and bluberry cheesecake yesss the price is a little high to the size it gives but the standard of quality and the food is worth paying
Situated in Russel street is this cozy two storied cafe that bakes and serves one of the most delicious desserts in Kolkata. You can smell the aroma of the freshly baked goodies as soon as you enter the cafe. After placing the order for the pastries you head over to the second floor to be seated. Order your coffee or tea and some savoury food item. It’s one of my favourite cafes in Kolkata. I definitely recommended it.
The decor of this little Patisserie just screams french and cute just by looking at it❤️ . The white ornated walls with contrasting furniture overlooking the street looks so inviting. Had the Raspberry chocolate dome and it was bliss for tastebuds. soft spongy texture with raspberry pulp in between melts in your mouth and is one of the tastiest desserts I have ever tasted.
This is a must visit for pastry lovers. It's a pastry paradise. Also, the food menu is awesome.

I am a huge fan of desserts & this might be so far my favourite dessert place. Visited today & I'm delighted! The staff is really friendly & they have a new restaurant part on the 1st floor that I didn't know about. Such beautiful & aesthetic decor, very neat & tidy! Perfect for a wonderful winter morning!
I had ordered for:
1. Berry Blast Smoothie: It was made right in front of me, & I could see that they use absolutely fresh fruits, raspberries & blueberries. Of course it tasted really good & fresh!
2. Classic cheesecake : Such good cheesecake, with fresh strawberries & blueberries! It's a worth try!
3. Raspberry chocolate dome: A fesh stock just entered when I was sitting there & it shows that everything there is definitely always fresh & this was another awesome pastry!
I'll definitely re-visit for their Macarons!

Absolutely absolutely loved whatever deserts I had from here. But I have to say the pecan pie is my all time favourite. This place is one of the things I miss the most when I am away from Kolkata and I make sure to pay a visit every time I’m in town. Only wish delivery was available cause it’s not always possible to opt for takeaway. Hope it happens in future.

This place by far is the topmost bakery you would find in Kolkata. All of their offerings are absolutely delicious and when I was having my share of Vanilla Cheesecake, it almost drove me to the verge of orgasm. The incredible balance of the flavours, the texture and the presentation is unparalleled (my view). 4 out of 5 stars because of the pricing. Even though the menu is fantastic, the pricing however is on the upper side. This place could have been one of my regulars but financially it wouldn't make much hence. Probably it's the law of nature, things you love are hard to get. Lol . But this is a great and a must visit place.
Tad bit expensive, but every dime is worth it. Amazing work. Piece of art. The cafe itslef oozes an European flavour, and the host is really polite. Went there once with my friends from Germany. They loved it too.

I am so glad to visit this cute little cafe today when the weather calls for a perfect hot chocolate. Ordered a raspberry chocolate dome, a lemon meringue tart, a Cappuccino and one hot chocolate- came to Rs. 905. Though its on the pricey side but if you are out there to indulge this is the right place..
After visiting this place once, I couldn't stop myself from visiting it again. It is a small place if you judge it by its surface area but the pastries are amazing. I hadn't had such amazing pastries in a long time.
I tried the Belgian Chocolate Eclair and the blueberry cheesecake when I went there for the first time. Both these items were heavenly.
The second time I went there, I wanted to try something new and I couldn't stop myself from trying the Raspberry chocolate dome.
Now this place is on my list everytime I have a dessert craving.
A quaint little place with a small menu- has fresh stock everyday. We tried out the Blueberry Vanilla Tart, Raspberry Chocolate Tart, Belgian chocolate tart. All the three were somewhat wanting in terms of moisture- however had a really good taste. The Blueberry Vanilla Tart was undoubtedly the best and is a must try. The other two were satisfactory. This has probably the priciest menu across bakeries in Kolkata- the tarts being priced at about 300 each. Worth a shot for dessert lovers.
Okay so we had 4 items.
The Belgian chocolate Gateau which was really good. (290rs)
The chocolate eclairs. Honestly the best one in my opinion. 190rs.
Raspberry and almond tart. It looked delicious and tasted good too. The sour outside gave a really nice flavor.
Lastly, 70% dark chocolate tart. For this one, the inside tasted really really good but the tart part was a little too hard.
Anyway i feel like the desserts were good but for the price (almost 300rs/ea) you can get better :)

• Belgium Dark Chocolate Tart : Classic Chocolate Tart Filled With Pure Chocolate Indulgence. That Tart Was A Bit Hard Don't Know Why. Really Liked The Flavour, Only The Hardness Was A Bit Let Down. Otherwise Satisfied With Taste And Quality Served.
• Raspberry Chocolate Dome : Extremely Soft Chocolate Dome Poured With Raspberry Syrup. Had Delicious Filling Of Chocolate And Raspberry Mousse. Really Loved The Chocolatey And Tangy Taste Together..!!
This place is a must must visit for all the dessert lovers out there.

It's a cute little bakery. Ambience is so aesthetic. In love with the decor. I ordered only hot chocolate. The best part is Fraziska's (probably she is the owner of the bakery) behavior took my heart. So polite and gentle.
The outlet is small but the interiors have been done quite nicely, thrs a large variety of eclairs n tarts n delice to chose from. Loved the belgian chocolate gateau which was comprised of the right amount of dark chocolate 🍫
My favorite treat stop. Mainly for special occasions, because the desserts are a bit expensive, so that keeps a check on how often I visit, but the quality of desserts and the coffee is fantastic. I ordered my birthday cake from here and it was a delight. I don't have a favorite item, they are all superb. Have a cappuccino with a dessert there if you happen to visit, and pack a few for home.
This quaint, cute pastry shop is love! And the best part is that whatever they make, they use all organic ingredients. Like vanilla made from actual vanilla pods from Kerala. Plus the éclairs are heavenly. The best éclairs i have ever tasted in kolkata till date. You can pair the pastries with freshly made coffee brewed using blue tokai coffee beans and enjoy the whole experience!

Patisserie by Franziska turned 1 on 4th June'19 and they had put up all the items at INR 100 to mark their birthday celebration. I finally ticked off this place from my bucket list. This patisserie is a cute place on Russell Street (check my story) with lip-smacking items like meringues, eclairs, tarts, cheesecakes, macarons, coffee on their menu.
Classic Vanilla Eclair - I tried the Classic Vanilla Eclair which is basically an oblong pastry made of choux dough. It is filled with sweet vanilla flavoured smooth textured cream which tasted really amazing. On the top, it is sprinkled with icing sugar and decorated with fresh cream. The eclair was fresh and soft. It was delicious!
Classic Vanilla Cheesecake - I had heard a lot about the Classic Vanilla Cheesecake at this place but somehow this cheesecake did not appeal to my taste buds much. However, I must say that this is one of the best cheesecakes I have ever looked at. Even the texture of the cheesecake was very smooth. Garnished with fresh blueberries and some other kind of fruit (I don't know the name), the cheesecake looked very appealing and is a beauty to the eyes. It had graham cracker crust and a sour taste. This one would surely be a pleasure for those who love a sour taste.
The items are on the expensive side but worth trying. They are made from fresh ingredients. The service is really amazing.
Patisserie by franzisca has fabulous desserts. My only concern is that it is very expensive. The tea is delicious and the flourless cake is to DIE for!!!

Fresh ingredients , good quality chocolate and butter . The quality is evident from the first bite!
The crustiness of the tart .....the gooey filling and the smoothness of the chocolate and the meringue. The three characters were perfect in both the desserts!

Exorbitant prices but a delectable menu, Patisserie by Franziska has a variety of mouth watering desserts for the true lovers of something sweet. The play of flavours in your palate is a beautiful experience and it beckons you to go back and taste more of the items.
Oh my my! Why did I not try this place before. If you always look for exotic deserts, this is your go to place. They do not just look great but they taste absolutely perfect.
I tried their red dome and cheese cake but I'm surely gonna try all what the have on offer. Perfect blend of texture and sweetness.
The space is very small and can accommodate not more than 6/7 people. It's best for a take away or a quick desert indulgence on the go.

I'm a pastry chef myself, and this place is everything you want a patisserie to be! Right from the interiors, to the location, to the actual pastries, everything is gonna make your visit delightful!
I absolutely love their raspberry chocolate entremet and eggless baked cheesecake, the salted caramel tart, and the belgian chocolate tart are nice too! The vanilla bean pastry cream eclair, blueberry tart are a delight to eat too!
The macarons are the perfect cross between chewy and crunchy and my personal favourite is the raspberry one!
The dark chocolate hot chocolate, even though not thick enough, is very comforting on a pleasant day.
It is a little heavy on the pocket, but for the kind of quality they provide, I don't mind paying that extra bit. Thisdefinitely my favourite dessert place in town. Lots of love for this place. ❤️
Very nice dessert shop , apne aap mein anokha , expensive hai , par agar aapko accha aur quality food mile toh paisa dene mein koi harj nahi,raspberry dome aur chocolate eclairs is best , blueberry dessert,aur salted is ok . Next time jaane aur bhi desserts zaroor try karungi.

Blueberry Vanilla Tart - Fresh blueberries, silk pastry cream infused with vanilla pods from Kerala and vanilla sablée.
Lemon Madeleine's - The french classy with lemon zest drizzled generously with lemon syrup.
A small and very cute shop in park Street. Patisserie has some really good desserts. My personal favorite is the "Blueberry Vanilla Tart" it bursts different flavors in your mouth.

What an aesthetically done place. This is my go to place to satiate my cravings. The taste is impeccable and makes you want to ask for more. Can't wait to try everything that's on the menu. The owner is a wonderful lady and it's nice to strike up a conversation with her.
Well this was on my bucket list after a lot of trending instagram stories. I gave it a try today.
Its a fancy patisserie located at the heart of the city. Just if it was a litter bigger and had a better seating arrangement it would’ve been perfect! Nevertheless it is cute.

Rasberry chocolate dome ( the combination of rasberry and chocolate is heaven! There was this distinctive flavour of rasberry on the outside and chocolate inside)

A samll joint with all the amazing french desserts . Tried their macaroon and tbh it's the best macaroon I have ever tried . The Belgian chocolate eclair is also good filled with a good amount of chocolate inside . The prices are a bit high but worth it .

This patisserie is one of the hidden gems in the streets of Park Street. This small and comfy cafe houses an ample amount of tea cakes, tarts, premium desserts and a range of coffee delights.
Their macaroons are a real treat to the soul and surprisingly they make a good cappuccino. The pocket pinch here is higher than usual but if you got the heart to spend I assure you, you will not be disappointed. They have very limited seating with gorgeous decor. This place is nothing like your next door CCD or cafeteria.

The only little thing was the staff wasn't entirely aware of the pricing and they had to check the listing time and again. But the lady at the front desk was extremely helpful.

I had three desserts from this place and I haven't stopped praising this place ever since. We had raspberry chocolate dome, blueberry vanilla tart and Belgian chocolate gateaux. I'm not a huge fan of fruits, which is why they deserve extra points for making me fall in love with fruit based desserts. The blueberry vanilla tart was filled with custard and topped with blueberries. The tart shell was crunchy and so buttery and yummy in taste that I was convinced of not finding something better than this anywhere. The vanilla filling was delicious as well and went very well with the blueberries.
Coming to the raspberry chocolate dome, it was the perfect blend of the fruity flavour of the raspberry and the chocolate beneath it. A must try for those wanting the best of the fruit based and the chocolate desserts that they have to offer.
Lastly, the dessert that stole our hearts was the Belgian chocolate gateaux. I'm a huge fan of chocolate and I haven't tasted anything as heavenly as this beauty. It was our favorite of the three desserts we had.
The prices are definitely higher than standard, but whatever you have here will be worth the cost. The desserts are not only tastier, but made with fresh ingredients which really makes a huge difference. Even after having three desserts, we didn't feel full or uneasy. That says a lot about their service and dedication towards food.
Looking forward to actually going there.
This is one of the best dessert parlours in town. It's a small place tucked in Russell Street opposite the Bengal Club and will instantly remind you of picturesque Parisian patisseries. I think each and every item is worth a try. We ordered the raspberry chocolate dome ( a unique mix of tangy and sweet, a dessert that's simply too pretty to eat), forest noir (for all the chocoholics out there, filled with fresh berries and gooey chocolate mousse) and classic cheesecake (truly a classic). We also had the perfect hot chocolate and caramel Latte to wash these down. The price may seem a tad bit high at first glance, but I can assure you that the entire experience at this patisserie will be more than worth it.
Update: On another visit, I tried their Belgian chocolate gateau and the chocolate tart. Oh My God! The gateau tasted like Chicago cloud and you'd rarely find something tasting as rich as the tart. Absolute must-haves! 🤤

The Belgian Chocolate Tart that I had yesterday was perfectly gooey, chocolatey and amazing! It was one of the best chocolate tarts that I had in my life. The price though high, is totally worth it.
It is one of the best bakeries in Kolkata. Their Classic Cheesecake is my absolute favourite. We tried pecan pie today for the very first time and my sister is now a pecan pie lover. Their seating area is cute and welcoming. Have only tried dessert here so no comments on their other food but I believe that those will be amazing too.

No, You can't compare Flurry's because their bakery is a mockery. The only other comparable bakeries around would be Kookie Jar and Little Pleasures.
I tried around 5 of their desserts. Their choux pastry is very well made. Their chocolate eclairs are nice. So are the almond tarts. One of my current favs is their lemon meringue tart. Melt in the mouth with just the right amount of tart.
Desserts are highly recommended!
P.S.: Haven't tried their savoury menu so won't comment on that. Price points are a bit high, so not for everyone.

Having tasted desserts all-over this sweets obsessed city, I have a few takes i would love to share.
While you can enjoy desserts as cheap as anywhere on earth in this city, it's difficult to find quality European desserts. And only in places like this, you get some of the best curated inventions on this world.
While you do have to pay that extra ounce of peerlessness, I found it absolutely worth it.
Had to be one of the best Dessert I have ever tasted.

Personal Note: This quaint aesthetic patisserie also has this super chic sitting where you can enjoy their elaborate menu over a sip of Hot Chocolate!

What an amazingg place. Hands down one of the best cheese omelettes I've ever had and the toast was great too, tasted as if freshly baked and toasted. Also had the Pecan Pie, which too was great, maybe a teeny bit too sweet but overall no complaints. Have recommended it to others as well and will definitely visit whenever I am in the city again.
Very very beautiful cafe, little pricey but great desserts! The Belgian chocolate gateau, and the vanilla blueberry tart were both delicious! Sweet and clean interiors. Was a little hard to find because google maps was messed up but it’s right across Bengal Club.
Would recommend their coffees, have heard all good things about it

Simply fabulous. A small place but food is one of the best I have had in the city. Amazing cocktails .pricing is on the higher side a cocktail is around 850 bucks .. very highly recommend..
One of the best dessert places in Kolkata. It is a small place with a beautiful interior overlooking the Bengal Club. This a perfect place for date or family meet. The service is efficient and comforting.
Must try - Apple Pie, Chocolate Noir, Lemon Meringue Tart
Not recommended- Chocolate slice and cheesecake.
The food and drinks menu are amazing too and they serve great quality food here. With every season they also make a special menu so dont forget to try those items mainly.
