I visited this place recently. Have become a great fan of the decor. It's recommended for a romantic dinner. Don't know why there are so many negative reviews. I ordered Fish Orly and Chicken Lasagne. Both the dishes were delicious.
A warm and comfortable place...with all cute fishes..in aquariums (each type in different compartments)..which is the star attraction of the restaurant in my opinion..
The food..well...we ordered fish sizzler and fresh lime soda...we had expected the food to be true to its taste..(atleast for the garlic rice), but to my disappointment the rice tasted bland, although the sauted veges n fish(in pepper mushroom sauce) was good!!
Overall an average experience..and i might give it another shot to may try their pork!!!
P.S- An extra star has been given for those cute little fishes!!!

After viewing the ratings of this restaurant I decided to try out a continental dish from here. Ordered Hunan Fish, which arrived well on time. Now about the food, it was little bit spicy but the taste was good. Quantity was sufficient for 3 people as you can see from the pic. Fishes were well cooked and juicy as well. Don’t know why people are giving such bad reviews but as far as my personal experience is concerned I didn’t find the food as bad as the negative reviews.
This place is situated just beside kwality swirls ice cream parlor. The food served here is amazing. It has quirky decor with aquariums.. so you can enjoy your food and have a good time with family and friends..
Orderes chilli chicken dry.. Quantity was not upto the mark but the quality was good and the price was reasonable.. Would recommend the restaurant to check on quantity.

I don't know how people are giving so many bad reviews about the restaurant but honestly speaking, I love their food. I visit it so many times and it has become a second home to me. The staffs are so kind and polite and even the food is served in time. Even I order food from them to my friend's house whenever I plan for a sleepover. The recently added offers were just perfect for me, at least, because getting quality food in no time with such low cost is not what all restaurants can produce.
Writing this review a bit late however, this is one of my go to restaurants whenever I visit the kasba area, located near acropolis mall its a small little place almost passable if you dont pay attention, ambience is really nice with the walls of the restaurant being an aquarium of sorts. The food here is just great & you won't go wrong with whatever you order. One con is that they dont have a washroom which they should really look into providing for, as for the rest this is a nice place, definitely visit.

We ordered a nonveg combo meal with fried rice and chicken. It was almost perfect. The only room for improvement, I felt was in the portion size for the rice in the combo meal.
That aside, I really look forward to ordering again.

I ordered Crispy Baby corn for starter.It was good just that it was a bit more salty for my taste. I visited the restaurant alone so I order only a Chinese fish combo meal.The rice was very well prepared and so was the Hunan Fish.The gravy could have been thicker.I just have one grievance-they were not accepting card payment today(31Aug). I would like to mention that the staff was very very polite.He is doing a great job .Keep up the good work.

I simply love lasagnas, whether it's veg or non-veg, doesn't matter until the preparation is perfect!
So, yesterday ordered Chicken Lasagna Pasta because I was badly craving for something cheesy yet yummy!
Extra brownie points for superb packaging and on-time delivery. This pasta comes with garlic breads. Taste-wise and quantity-wise it was more than enough. Thought of having it alone but my mum had to help me out as I couldn't finish it off!
Loaded with veggies, olives and lots of chicken pieces, this one just won my heart!
Highly recommended to people who love Lasagna and is a fan of Italian food!

Quite a cosy and friendly atmosphere with quite a few mouth savoring dishes. The staff present were polite and decent. The chicken methi malai kebab, I found personally, the best among all. Definitely worth a drop-in.

Silver platter is a restaurant that's very close to the Acropolis Mall. They specialise in multi cuisine and have great options to pick from. Be it Chinese,Thai,Continental or your favourite North Indian. You will get them all over here in great portions, taste and most importantly they are freshly prepared. I am pretty sure the best of food under one roof is something you wouldn't like to refuse and pay a visit.
Ambiance wise this place is unique in it's own way. I like the aquariums used as a decor over here. The dim lights create a cosy vibe. Nice music on the playlist and a Tv set adds the entertainment glued here.The seating over here is nicely organised allowing approximately 30 to 40 people to dine. Service what i observed is pretty swift and courteous as well.
Food here that i had was Soya Chicken Honey Wings which was big leg pieces,well prepared with Soya,Chilli and Honey flavours combined. Then the Crispy Baby Corn which was nice for the portion and the soft texture of corn fried along with it's necessary spices.
Moving on i had the Burnt Garlic Spring Onion Chicken Fried Rice,Chilli Garlic Hakka Noodles along with Hunan Chicken and Chilli Chicken. I liked the rice with the Chilli Chicken as the balance of preparation was very appetizing for both. The Hunan Chicken was good but can get a little makeover especially the gravy thickness.
Apart from these dishes,Sister In Arms was a Mocktail in pink served to refresh our the mind . Lemon Coriander Chicken Soup and Hot and Sour Sea Food Soup was very nice too.
The whole time here at Silver Platter was worth it and it is definitely a good comfort restaurant which won't make a hole in your pocket. Do walk in and try this place.

An hidden gem located near Acropolis Mall. Silver Platter is famous for it's Continental, Thai and Chinese food. I have been visiting Silver Platter since childhood. But on my recent visit I was really surprised to see the change and improvements they have done to their food. Silver Platter was always a budget restaurant for all.
Coming to the ambience, it's a small cozy place with dim lights. I really loved the aquariums inside. The decor is very soothing to your eyes and the place has an peaceful atmosphere. It is a perfect place for family dine out plans.
And the food, as I was saying they have improved a lot on their dishes. With that they have introduced various new dishes and offers. Now, Silver Platter is serving North Indian Cuisine as well. They have the thalis which are really affordable and good. They always give some exciting offers to their customers so visit the place, you might get lucky.
On my visit to Silver Platter I had a couple of dishes and these are the ones I would really suggest :
•Soups-
Lemon Coriander Chicken Soup, is my absolute favourite.
You may also try Hot n Sour Sea food Soup.
•Appetizers-
Crispy Babycorn and
Soya Honey Chilli Wings : The best part about this one is the pieces that they serve. It's very filling and the combination of honey and chilli will surely tickle your taste buds. It's crispy and also soft and tender. Amazing!

Being a die hard Prawn lover I'm really biased about Prawns but I would also highly recommend the Hunan Fish. The Hunan Sauce that they are making is absolutely perfect.

Recommendations :
Lemon Coriander Chicken Soup
Soya Honey Chicken Wings.
Both where spot on the taste, the quantity both were amazing.
Burnt Garlic Spring Onion Chicken Fried Rice.
Chilli Chicken Gravy.
Tangy Mustard Prawn.
Again great Quantity and good taste.
Apart from these, my personal favourite from here is the Chilli Pork and the Thai Curry.
Here, the pocket pinch is reasonable as per tge quantity they serve.

Aquariums placed strategically on both sides of the wall adds a special charm to this place!
My recent visit to this place turned out to be a really nice one with especially the owner's warm hospitality & gesture which I enjoyed & loved. We were in a dilemma in choosing from their huge menu but we settled with some of their appetizers & soups which the owner himself wanted us to try out. We had :
• Lemon Coriander Chicken Soup : The texture & the soothing flavour with lots of small chicken pieces gave the soup a wondeful taste & was thick in it's consistency. The flavour of lemon was distinct and we thoroughly enjoyed this one.
• Hot & Sour Seafood Soup : Comprised of eggs and seafood including prawns, this soup variant was an absolute delight. It had a red texture & a soulful flavour to it. It was on the spicier side. Loved it.
• Crispy Babycorn : This basic dish tasted exactly like what it should be. The coating was not that thick which is a plus point and also the spicyness was well balanced. With the added crispiness, it was a decent one!
• Soya Honey Chilli Wings : Wow! The size and portion of the wings were different from the one we generally have. They were bigger, juicer & tastier! Well tossed in soya honey sauce, they were finger-licking good! Surely, a must try preparation from this place!
To quench our thirst, we had one of their refreshing mocktails which they named it as Sister in Arms. It was on the sweeter side & was more or less fizzy.
Heading towards the main course, we had :
• Burnt Garlic Spring Onion Chicken Fried Rice : Loaded with lots of chicken pieces & fried egg, the rice had a smoky flavour to it. The quantity was fair enough to suffice two palates at a go!
• Chilli Garlic Chicken Hakka Noodles : It was perfectly cooked & the flavour was great. With correct amount of ingredients, the noodles comprehended the chilly chicken very nicely!
• Hunan Fish : I found the gravy to be a bit runny lacking taste! The taste of the hunan sauce was not that well distinct due to the watery broth which I feel can be definitely improved.
• Chilli Chicken Gravy : This item, though the name is mainstream, the type they serve is very different from the regular one! It had a superb taste to it. The thick & spicy gravy was outstanding. The chicken portions were good and the quantity again is worth mentioning.
• Tangy Mustard Prawn : The Prawns they serve in this dish were fresh & big in size. The sauce has a fabulous taste in itself and with the prawns perfectly blending with the gravy, it was a nice one. Went hand in hand with the rice well.
Overall, the experience was great. Courteous staff followed by quick service is what you get here! Perfect place to sort out your lunch or dinner scenes with friends or family. With appropriate pricing, nice decor & delicious food, Silver Platter definitely bags my recommendation!

However come to the main topic... That is the foods we had ordered..
CRISPY CHILLI SQUID its was average from my opinion as it was so crispy that we hadnt got the proper flavor of squid...
Next MINCHED LAMB ROGU.. which is one of the best lamb dishes i have ever experienced.. The tongue twisting flavour of italian rogu sauce made the lamb dishes out of the world..
Then GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST WITH BBQ SAUCE... it was also good, the lean meat with bbq sauce is enough to satisfy your taste buds.. Nevertheless i have experienced this dish better in other restro..
Then coming to the hilarious part... We had ordered PORK SURF N TURF.. It was the toughest to tear that pork ribs..However my friend eventually manage to finish it somehow.. But It was a complete failure..
Lastly FISH ORANZY...which was a beautiful fusion..this signature dish eventually calm us down after that tiresome effort with the pork..
Ambience is soothing but average and heart warming courtesy make me to suggest u to go there once...
I had ordered lemon chicken and gravy noodles, I would say that food was absolutely as per my liking. The staff was polite. There was more delay in service than mentioned but I would let it slide as we were notified beforehand. Though the place is small, it does not feel crammed.
Well I had a chance to taste their Chicken fried rice, Chilli garlic chicken fries rice, noodles, chilli fish and Chilli chicken. All the above said items were very good tasty.
Only what I didn't like was Chilli garlic rice. It was so hot and spicy that it was difficult for me to continue with. Otherwise everything was good.
A continental food joint near Acropolis mall. Have nice decor with aquarium in the wall. Is a must visit place with friends or family for lunch and dinner. Food there are tasty and value for money. Only problem they face is shortage of stuff, so you have to wait a bit longer for your food but all together this is a very nice place to spend some time with your loved ones.
One dish that can make me go back there again? FISH ORANZZY .... simply superb. Nice chilled out place and polite service made it a better experience.

Went to this place thrice.. the third time being today afternoon for a late lunch with family. Located on rajdanga main road, 5mins walking distance from Acropolis mall towards gariahat on the same foot.
This review is based on today's lunch. We ordered:
1. Egg drop soup: clear and eggy with a taste of lemon and garlic. Different, light and Refreshing. Highly recommended.
2. Potato and leek chicken soup: this one is a continental thick soup. Very filling
3. Fish Orly: served with Mayo. Chunks of fish coated and deep fried. Not spicy though. 4pieces in a plate.
For the main course:
1. Penne pasta chicken with mixed sauce: This was good. Bit on gravy side. Creamy and tangy.
2. Burnt garlic and basil fried rice (chicken): Normal and common dish this one. Nothing new about it!
3. Hunan chicken: This came in white sauce and little bland and didn't match to our the description given by the waiter. Taste was okay. But quantity of chicken was very less.
4. Fish Oraanzzyyy: Now this one is quite different and a new continental hit from this place. Grilled fish layered with mashed potato and veggies with caramel and orange sauce. Sweet tangy with a hint of spice. Perfectly cooked fish. Served with garlic bread.
Bill amount was 1659 bucks for 4 people. Go for this place atleast once if you are a fan of continental food at pocket friendly price.
Please make sure the quantity will be much than daily in future.
This place is just beside the acropolis mall. If you are looking for good soulful continental food this is the place for you. The decor is very beautiful with the walls covered with aquariums. Now coming to the food, we had for starters fish orly and for mains chicken stroganoff, lamb ragu and mandarin mashup. The fish was perfectly battered and crispy with a delicious dip, the stroganoff was again very cheesy and creamy just the way it should be, the lamb ragu was good but a tad bit spicy, so if you not a spicy food fan you might avoid it, and the best of the lot was the mandarin mashup which had both fish and chicken pieces with some kind of sweet and tangy sauce.
The staff was a bit clumsy in taking the orders, also we had to ask for the prawn crackers which are to be served as a welcome snacks as they forgot. But all in all it was a amazing food experience.
Polite staffs and excellent food...if this was about food quality I would have given 5/5... But they do not have proper washroom which is a drawback... But the food is amazing, we had a fish preparation and a lasagne, both were extremely tasty, I would like to recommend this to everyone.

This place is a gem of a place to have some great continental stuff. Their pork chops and bacon wrapped prawns are my favourites. This place is love. A definite place to go for without much pocket pinch.

The chatters about the brilliance of this place was reaching my ears for quite some time now. Decided to visit the place today with my woman. The modest cavity the place hides in is completely deceiving of the punch it packs.
Being the day of romance the touch of strewn balloons across the floor was more than welcome. The staff pampered us well. They even gave us a chocolate as the guy crooned "happy valentines day to both of you". Well that was sweet. And they even waived off the service charge and we could see it was not a marketing gimmick but a genuine gesture which made us feel special.
Coming to the food, it was amazing. We ordered a Minced lamb Lasagna and a Pork Jerk chops. The lasagna made me squeal, gulp and speak with my mouth full like a Joey while the succulent meat gave the fill.
This place qualifies as one of those you can keep on visiting any number of times and still want to look forward to the next time by the time you are making your way towards the exit.
Visit 2: The taste memory being hacked, plans with silver platter as the cynosure kept cropping up arbitrarily. It was a matter of days that the second visit got approved.
With expectations shooting through the roof things were bound to get a modesty check. We trooped into the familiar dimly lit caveat at around mid day today. Ordered a Crisp honey chicken to start with followed by a Chicken stroganoff, a Mandarin mashup and some Veg Torzones. To see all that off was a Bourbon mousse. The honey chicken failed to create much of an impression and sadly could not honour the hype it was receiving. The Mashup (Fish and shredded chicken tossed in sauce served with rice) was okay. The stroganoff and the Torzones made up for much of the lost ground and stamped their presence too. Did justice to the noise Silver Platter has drummed up of being among the best continental joints in town. Lastly the mousse saw us off with real
charm. Visit number two scored as high as the first one and the control returning we made our way for saroo (Sunny Pawar).

Silver Platter serves Continental, Chinese, Seafood and Thai cuisines. Even though they are a Multi-cuisine restaurant, they specialize mainly in Continental cuisine.
The first time we dined here was a few months back while searching for a reasonable yet good restaurant for dinner. The moment we walked into the restaurant, the owner was there to greet us. The restaurant even though was smaller in space, did not fail to provide comfort and a captivating ambience. The brightly lit interior had enhanced the beauty of the aquariums installed on the walls.
Now coming to the dishes to order, we did not opt for Continental as much as of Chinese. We will be talking about the service and experience in this restaurant from our two different visits.
The first time we dined here was while hunting for a restaurant for dinner. This was unplanned and sudden. Since it was a new joint and our first visit, we had sought suggestions from the manager. The restaurant being a continental speciality restaurant, Prawn cocktail (₹275/-) was recommended for our starters. The combination of grilled prawns and shrimps served in a fusion of sauce, had maintained the balance in flavours that was very overwhelming.
Pepper Garlic prawn (₹255/-) was another scrumptious starter. The prawns were fried and then tossed in salt and pepper. Coated with garlic and pepper, the dish was all about simple yet succulent flavours.
Burnt Garlic Spring Onion Rice (₹135/-) was enjoyed with Scheswan Prawns (₹325/-) for the main course. Burnt garlic rice though something unconventional, yet it was scrumptious. The Scheswan prawns were big and fresh whose presentation had given the dish a more impressive touch.
A wonderful dining experience indeed!

Last year I visited this restaurant I soo liked it. The interior is attractive with aquariums on your side. The food is great. Try the continentals. They are really mouth watering.
But this year I noticed a few drawbacks. The workers were in casuals and not in uniforms which I did not like. Serving time was significantly delayed. Otherwise food was as good as before. We had fish oranzy (in picture). I have a plan to try the other Continental dishes next time I visit this place.
