Each and every items were awesome.Realy very tasty and awesomely cooked.only thing is that the mutton could have been a bit softer.
Those items which I mentioned just awesome 👌 I mean price are quite high but foods are awesome.. u don't have to compromise
So many Bengali style restaurants are here in Kolkata.. but koshe kosha is emotion.. there quality of is just awesome.. but I have to say one more thing that some of the outlets are not pretty good.. so choose your dish wisely.. otherwise u can taste then tell us your experience
My favourite bengali cuisine restaurant. The food items are amazing here. Starting from the fish to mutton. Everyday is delicious here. Also try the gondhoraj ghol if you ever go here
Any bong should definitely come to this restuarant. All the fish items , mainly bhetki and katla items are amazingly made. Starting from macher matha die moong dal to kichur saag, they cook the dishes with so nice flavours just like mom-made
Mutton kasha is very good
Mr Samir good person, he will suggest mangser khichuri, then I will my order this items fantastic. Fully hygienic Service provide. Next time visit again.................
Taste of the Biryani was great.. The quantity could hv been more considering the price..
I went to this place may be once or twice. And i really found this a pretty good place for small group 9f people. Because the place is small. But the quality of food is good.
The resturent was small but ambience or decorations was very nice. staff was very friendly mainly Samir Bhandari. He was suggest me the starter item fish fry and main diceses was basanti polao and kosha mansho and chingrir malaikari golda. The food was too good. Last finishing diceses was baked rossagolla. Thanks to samir for the best suggestions.
Order the non veg combo which included BASONTI POLAO & MOSHLA MURGHI. The combination was heavenly. Polao was very nice had a nice aroma felt like home cooked meal 😋. Moshla murghi was like simple Chicken kosha but absolutely amazing ♥️ The chicken pieces were tender and flavourfully marinated. The spices made the dish top notch. All accompanied with salad made the meal complete.
The quality and quantity were no doubt excellent. The delivery was quick packing was done well.
Price - ₹126 only
Had dinner with my friend. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of us. The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We specially enjoyed the food and the presentation. Please give our thanks to the manager and others for wonderful service. Highly recommended. Thank you.
Amazing place for bengali food..
They served authentic Bengali food and the quality was so good.
Looking from best place for bengali cuisine? So here it is. Their mutton kosha is way beyond perfection. Basanti pulao tastes amazing. I tried their bengali thali which is really great. Must visit this place.
Kose kosha
As the name says it is famous for that only
Do try their kosha mangsho
Just amazing
All the items are very tasty.. the place is located in hatibagan.. the Gondhoraj Ghol are the speciality
We ordered dhakai mangso, luchi, basanti pulao, kancha lonka murgi, daab ice cream .... Good food .... Service is also good .... Recommended .... 👍👍👍👍
Never miss to visit Koshe Kosha during Duga Festive as my friends always prefer Mughlai from this restaurant. Chicken Chap also tasty along with Biryani.
It is situated beside fusion restaurant at Hatibagan. We tried Laccha paratha and Kosha Mangsho. It tasted amazing and staffs were cooperative
You can get best Bengali food with authentic s flavours of Bengal they have large variety of fishes mutton rice and many more things
Had been to this place on choturthi of 2k19 durga puja. Finally adding a review. Had a nice expirience visiting this place and will surely agree to visit again. We were 4 in number we ordered
1. Fish finger fry
2. Bengali pulao
3. Chicken duckbunglow
What disappointed me is many things were unavailable. And the quantity of food was not satisfactory. Anyway no question on taste. I salivate thinking of this place now. Must visite highly recommended. Proper for bengalis. And i am sure others too will surely like this place.
The food quality was awesome..but problem that space is too short of the restaurant..but Staffs behaviour are really good..I am visited with my parents in the Navami after pandel hopping..I ordered fishfry in starter then in the main course we ordered Basanti polao,Bhetki pathuri,Chingri Malai biriyani,Murgh kosha..All foods are really tasty,,specially the biriyani which is amazing..

14 yrs of old bengali restaurant serves amazing quality food.
I was out of town but this place was a saviour I loved the food a lot had a non veg thali and my tummy was totally satisfied.
Had authentic bengali food in Koshe Kosha.... It serves you the delicacies of Bengal. The food here is utter nostalgia for bengalis....This branch of Koshe Kosha is located at Hatibagan. We had dhakai mangsho , Basanti Pulao , Steamed Rice , Lau Chingri , Daab ice cream . Well the food is no doubt tasty but what I really felt lacking here is the service.... The service is that good to be honest. Yes if you are a bengali food lover then please visit Koshe Kosha atleast . Trust Bengali food is more than love and emotion
Used to have lunch here during college days. Was absolutely in love with the kosha mangsho and paratha. Had chicken and rice the last time here as well. Lovely place
Had a lunch at this outlet.. we ordered vetki chingri melbondho, non veg thali and am pora sorbot.. the melbondhon was fatafati I would say.. thali was good.. I would specially mention the motton kosha and katla kalia.. truely 'maer hater ranna'.. not too spicy not too simple but perfect one.. I was eager to taste the daab ice cream but it was not available 🙁
The foods are worth the price. I love all of them.
Located near to star theatre & the petrol pump in hatibagan, it can be easily located without the hassle of looking for directions. The bhetki chingri mel bondhon is a must try. Too yummy to be described. The non -veg platter is good. The quantity is good for only 1 person, though you can share the thali. The fresh lime soda is not properly made though. The staffs are to cordial & too good. This being the first outlet there is space crunch. Highly recommended place.
Once I used to be here daily. Located just near my hostel. I love thr food way too much. Be it polao kosha mangso or plain rice with dal, fries n etc. Fish fry is the best item here along with dim kosha and mutton. The ambience is small n calm. Not much people visit this outlet. But the food never degraded.
Try dishes on Bhetki.
Rosun Bhetki, Bhetki Bhapa and much more....
Fish dishes are simply delicious.
Authentic Bengali Dishes with reasonable price.
Like you KOSHE KOSHA.
This outlet is situated at Hatibagan..5min walk from star theatre. The place is quite small but comfortable. We ordered Aam pora sorbot ., gondhoraj ghol , Basmati rice ,shukto , Basanti pulao , Dhakai mangsho , Bhetkir jhal. The quality and quantity of food is undoubtedly excellent. The price is also reasonable. Will definitely visit again.
This restaurant is very famous for serving bengali cuise in authentic style. We went there for first time and we found the place quite impressive. We had ordered baked paratha. Paratha which has less oil. With kosha mangsho and moshla murgi. Moshla murgi was so tempting. I would recommend to try this moshla murgi.
Have mostly ordered online from this place. Currently in love with the dimer devil with the chingri pur, the chicken cutlet and the amazing kochupata chingri (best one I have tasted in a while). Food is cooked really well and the flavours are just awesome.
The place is small but the food is good! Must try out kosha mangsho! Mutton was tender and ambience is good. Place accepts only Paytm and cash!
The food here is awesome. You can enjoy authntic bengali and Indian dishes. Their special item, Gandhoraj Chicken is mindblowing. Only con is wait time.
It's a emotion for me...their polao and chili chicken kosa mangso still mouth watering me..the taste is never gone...I love this restaurant from my হৃদয়।।।।
This post is for all foodies...

This offer is for all those KKR fans out there! Cheer them up!
Offer is valid on the days of KKR matches.( Both abroad and home matches.)
Food quality is very good. It's yummy... Basanti Polao was very delicious, a bit sweet with an aroma of ghee which will just blow your mind !😋 The quantity was sufficient for a person . The next item which I tasted was Masala Murgi which was spicy and appreciably tasty. The only thing i disliked was that the hatibagan outlet was a little too small. Maximum 24 people can be accomodated at a time.
So what are you waiting for..!!!!!! Come let's eat... 🍽️😋😋😋😋😋
This is an eatery and not a restaurant as the space here is very small. However you get compensated by the great taste of authentic Bengali Cuisine served here. Should try the lunch thalis.
Located in Hatibagan Area. It's a very old and famous Bengali cuisine restaurant known for it's variety of Bengali dishes. If someone is visiting the restaurant for the first time then the recommendations would be Kosha Manghso, Morog Pulao, Gondhoraj Chicken, Daab Chingri, Katla Kalia. It's a small cozy place with an enjoyable atmosphere. The quality of food is undoubtedly excellent and the price is also reasonable. So if anyone is looking for a good Bengali cuisine restaurant then it will be a good choice.
Been there on Saraswati puja... Loved the dishes... though the place is Lil bit small but had a good time.. also tried rosogolla ice cream if I remember correctly... Good to go
Ordered the Murgi Kosha and pulao combo from here. The delivery was fast. The packaging was good. The pulao was really tasty and sweet. The murgi kosha was also great, there was two Chicken pieces, the gravy was flavorful and it was tasting good even more with the pulao. Going to order again
I ordered basanti pulao & alur dum. Food quantity was little compared to the price. But i wouldn't mind to order again as the quality of food was really nice. Overall nice restaurant for bengali food lovers 😊 🤗
We had basanti pulao, kosha murgi, green salad ,fresh lime soda & daab ice cream .. Lime soda is slightly sweet for me bt others taste were very good.. Want to be here more..
Small yet a good eatery for fine quality bengali food. Had the combo meal of pulao and kasha mangsho. Was simply yummylicious. They serve it with salad and a tamarid chutney. Its located near rupbani more of hatibagan, so easy to locate as well considering hatibagan tends to be overcrowded.
Visited this place on Sunday Afternoon for lunch. The place was too small to accommodate the crowd at that time, and we had to wait a long time to get a table. We ordered Basanti Pulao (7.5/10), Dhakai Mangsho(8/10), Kosha Murgi(6/10). But in dessert we ordered Daab Ice Cream (10/10), it's a must try. The food items were good in taste. But apart from it, the taste and quality of food was satisfactory. The staff behaviour was good.
We have had lunch here on the occasion of my grandparents' 50th anniversary. We started with গন্ধরাজ ঘোল, পোস্তর বড়া, মোচার চপ and ভেটকি চিংড়ির মেলবন্ধন. In the main course, বাসমতি চালের ভাত, ঘি, সোনামুগের ডাল, ভেটকি fry, চিংড়ির মালাইকারি, সর্ষে ইলিশ, chicken ডাকবাংলো and mutton roganjosh were the showstoppers. আম আনারসের চাটনি, মিষ্টি দই, নলেন গুড়ের ice cream made up the dessert section in this sumptous meal. Each and every food item was superb, delicious and impeccably presented. Ambience was pleasant. Though the price is on thr heavier side, culinary experience was delectable. Will definitely visit again.
Located right at hatibagan...If u r taking metro,uh need to walk a long way...so better to take a transport...
Food tasted pretty well here 5/5...❤️...
I had→
•morog pulao- its more like a biriyani,nt a pulao.. 4/5.. one marks deducted bcz of quantity...
•kancha lonka mangsho- this one was very tasty...It wasn't much spicy as we expected, buut it was good😋..5/5.... Contained 4 chicken pieces..
[Ambience is very verrrryyy small tho😑].
My total bill was only 242rs,after applying GOLD....
The quintessential "Kosha Mangso" in all its glory and then some more!
Try it out with Basanti Pulao (the combination seems to be a runway hit among the gourmets as well) - and savour the mellowing aromatic contrast to the taste buds.
The tangy tamarind 'chatni' (sauce) adds to the experience. Quite reminiscent of the 'Gol-Bari' of bygone days!
A suggestion though- a couple of tables are too close to the wash basin. Perhaps a bit of realignment would lend an apt hygienic approach.
The place is short on square-foot but makes up well with the courteous staff and brisk food on platter time.
Will visit again soon!

Lovely outlet. Quality food. Definitely worth visiting more than once!! We ordered: Plain rice- two plates (complimentary begun bhaja & papad) Machher matha dewa daal, Malai bhapa bhetki, Mutton kosha. We were full.
Used Zomato Gold there... Got 1+1 on Malai Chingri Biryani... I must say it was truly a treat to my taste buds ❤️. Specially the gravy they are providing with it... Their Laal Keema(Mutton Bharta like dish) was love ❤️... The behaviour of the staffs specially Mr. Rabi Jana needs a special mention 😇❤️... All these made me plan for my second visit to this place again soon...
Went yesterday Loved the service the staffs were also courteous nd the food comes to ur plate so quickly nd freshly made ..Ordered Chicken Kasa Basanti pulao nd Rotis ...Pulao was star of the show loved the flavour nd chicken kasa was freshly made nd yet so tasty nd soft .. quantity was nice for two ..
A small restro serving delicious bengali dishes.. a bit congested when full but service is prompt. Prices though is a bit on the higher side, still we enjoyed the lunch .
If you love bengali cuisine, then you should visit this place at least for once.. We took their special fish fry which consists of two fries. Then we took basanti polao and kosha chicken.. Each and every item tastes heavenly. But I feel the price is higher than the quantity.. Service was too good.. But the place is very small.. But I must say I enjoyed every food and will visit again..
Visited this place to treat my mother. She always likes to go to Bengali Cuisine restaurants. And no doubt she was happy with the taste and service. Of course I was happy too. The Kosha Murgi and Lachcha Porota tasted heavenly together as we were pretty hungry. The people there were very welcoming and served with proper care.
Yet another dive to one of the Bengali delicacy serving restaurant in the town.
-Koshe Kosha.
The name is quite different and the taste too. Been there few weeks back and the experience we had was superb. Ordered so many things in the night and they delivered each and everything hot and steamy. We liked the garnished food and all the beverages. They were fantastic!
The very scrumptious Kakra (Crab) got me with its mouth-watering taste. The apfrodisiac blend of foods really bring smile on our face. The staffs were quite welcoming and courteous. We were delighted. Although, there were no restroom probably. That's kind of a bummer in my sense. So, at the end if you want to dive in a Bengali cuisine ocean, you could visit Koshe Kosha and have your best time there. 🍗🍮🍛
Price was way too high but the food quality was good. If you love Bengali food you're welcome
Food was not so good like other branches and quantity was somehow less than our experience in other branches. They served in paper and thermocol plates instead of proper plates and utensils.
A space constraint is there as the table can only accommodate 2 people rather than 4 persons.
Food was really great. Top notch. No complaints.
Service was okay. A server was walking to and fro continuously which was a little bothersome.
Price is a little on the higher side given the quality.
Authentic Bengali food . Great quality and good ambience. Staff are their also very good. Must visit
Good food, good atmosphere, well service.
Few days ago i went to koshe kosha restrurent for lunch. This restrurent situated at the Hatibagan, Kolkata. We took "Maharaja Thali" and it was shareable and non - veg thali. Non- veg items more option was there. There is an option to take non-veg items of your choice. Food quality was too good. The behavior of the staff was also very good. Bengali Traditiona touched in the every corners of this restrurent.
The food is good. But this outlet of hatibagan is so much congested. Even going in and out from the main door was problematic even for an average built person.
The space was small but tasty and the quality was good.
Had bhetki fry one of their signature fish which was very crunchy and tasty with the kasundi and the tomato sauce.
Then I had basonti polao with chicken kosa.
Polao was full of kaju and kismis with a good flavour of ghee. Also the chicken kasa was very tasty.
But with respect to the price the quantity of the food was compromised and the size of the chickens was also very small with bones. Mostly chicken pieces have no meat on it.
And some menu items was not available at that particular time.
It does a real justice to the taste of Bengali cuisines. Ample variety of typical Bengali foods are available here. Here non veg items are mainly popular. Along with all the items, special mention is deserved by basanti polaw, chital macher muithha and mochar ghonto. Mutton items are comparatively more spicy than being tasty. The only drawback of this restaurant is, it's very small and sitting arrangements are also not very comfortable owing to less leg rooms. They cannot club the tables due to less spaces to serve, but a good destination for tasting ideal bengali cuisines in the heart of North Kolkata situated by the Bidhan Sarani.
