Yesterday I went to the Dalhouse area due to some work with my friend . While searching the Vodafone store we have found the new outlet of the famous The Bhoj company. Though we we weren't hungry but we can't resist the temptation to have a bite of the best Fishfry I ever had. So we have one each & packed for the family.
Awesome food and reasonable price. Good ambience as well. Must try Kochu Chingri Bhapa! Courteous staff.

Authentic Dhakai Style Bengali food serving eateries are very less numbered in Kolkata . The Bhoj company can pull up something in this category . I Was lucky to have a taste of the menu set for Poila Baisakh . I loved the ambiance as well as the delicious Bong food . Looking forward for the next visit.

I think I don't really have much words to describe this restaurant. Each and every dishes I tried was extremely traditional and delicious. The service was quick and nice. I have been trying to get some super tasty Fish items and I came to know that The Bhoj Company is one of the best in the city who delivers mouthwatering bengali dishes.
So I have ordered Bhetki Fish Fry and and Gandharaj Chicken. The Bhetki Fry is very tasty and the Gandharaj Chicken was delicious, hot and crispy.
I really enjoyed every bite of the Bhetki Fry as I am a fish lover and the taste of Gandharaj Chicken simply change the flavour.

I had been waiting for so long to order from The Bhoj Company, and finally I could order from there. Fish fry is an emotion for us. When it comes to fish fry, what we expect is a delicate bhetki fillet with a crispy and crumb coating with just the right amount of flavours. And The Bhoj Company did not disappoint me at all in this case. The fish fry was served with french fries which made me the happiest!
Another thing which I got was Gandharaj Chicken which I tried for the first time which was extremely flavourful and won over the aromatic game. The spices were also perfectly balanced.
I really like the food here. The best food item here ia definitely the paaturi. It's delicious. They also maintain all the safety procedures here.

The ongoing rainfall for past few days has increased my craving for fish fry. Got good reviews before, about this place. So ordered bhetki fish fry and gondhoraj chicken from this place.The flavour of gondhoraj chicken was excellent and the crispiness and freshness of the fish fry was unparalleled. The delivery was safe and packaging was awesome.
Some days ago, I ordered their signature item fish fry after hearing a lot of good words from some of my friends. Just like they have mentioned, the portion was good and I truly loved them. This place is known for making fish fry that constitute of original vetki fillet. The portion was good and I loved it .

Tasty and crispy baby corns are my weakness â and to satiate that greed, went for a delivery of the same from this popular restaurant chain - The Bhoj Company based in Dalhousie BBD Bagh!
Was initially a bit perturbed since they delivered dry baby corns â I am more into the saucy ones! Nevertheless, the same was so well prepared â perfectly fried and crisp â topped with sesame seeds to enhance taste and food presentation â that I did not miss the sauces!
Indeed, this place does full justice to the rave reviews and ratings it has on Zomato!
Only concern is that pocket pinch is high!
Looking forward to a dine-in next time!

The first best part of this joint is the food. The lipsmacking delicious food. If you are really looking forward to have an authentic bengali platter experience please do visit this joint. The luchi aloo dum, being an authentic bengali delicacy is difficult to satisfy one Bengalis taste bud... Yet with the warm luchi and the delicious alur dum there was a satisfaction to the core. The next in course was kochupata chingri. This dish alone can take up all your rice. Pairing with rice, there is a burst of flavours, which alone can be experienced if one tastes such. The extra mustard was an inexplicable addition which brought out the whole flavour. If you want to go a bit daring, try out dum pulao with sheel ae bata loitta. The first time i had such a combination, it was exceptionally good. There is a perfect blend in the loitta. Even you don't like such, you will definitely fall in love after tasting.
There are many more exceptionally mouth-watering dishes you can try. But these are a must.

This place serves good food but parking is a very problem and the metro work may cause this to be closed temporarily. Do inquire before you go .
If you are craving for some good Bengali cuisine then this is the place you must visit. Located in dalhousie, I will suggest you not to take your car since parking is bit far away from the restaurant.
Now, coming to the decor, very nicely decorated and gives a bengali vibes every time you take a bite of your favorite food with slow old bengali hits playing in the background will surely mesmerize you.

đ´Food: We ordered Rice, Sona moong dal, Jhuri aloo bhaja, Kachkki macher chochori, Murgi sheel-e bata, Daab chingri, Mutton kasha, Gulab jamun, and Rasomalai.
Rice(80/- for 1 bowl), Sona moong dal(60/-) and Jhuri aloo bhaja (60/-) were light and felt absolutely homemade!
Kachkki Macher Chochori (150/-) was medium spicy tossed with some vegetables. It tasted good!
Murgi sheel-e bata(170/-). It was heavenly! Chicken paste in a mix of authentic Indian spices! Must try! (We ordered two plates because it was super tasty!) Highly recommended!
Daab Chingri (500/-) was a bit costly. However it could well justify it's price. 8 pieces of succulent prawn in a mouthwatering sweet gravy! Recommended.
Mutton kasha(320/-) was very tasty too. 4 pieces of mutton were there. The mutton was soft cooked and the gravy also tasted nice.
Gulab jamun (25/- per piece). It was good. But it would be better if it were served hot. You can mention that before placing order. They will serve it hot!
Rasomalai (60/- for two) were equally good. They were soft and sweet and made up of Bengal's favourite nolen gur.

There is no doubt that they have a very good quality of food . But when it comes to the quantity then itâs not good because the quantity should atleast satisfy 2 person properly but it fails in that way... would be great if they increase the quantity by 20% more

Recently went to have lunch at the Bhoj Company.
The first thing that steals your attention is the decor- a beautiful and subtle mix of Bengali and modern style with soothing Bengali music playing in the background.
We ordered a couple of things like daab chingri, bhetki fry, bhetki paturi, jeera rice, masoor dal alu bhaja and fresh lime sodas.
You will not be disappointed by the taste of any of the item.
Fried bhejti with kasundi was my personal favourite!
Bhejti paturi was extremely tender and juicy.
Daab chingri however did not impress me as much but was neither very bad.
Staff service here is definitely worth mentioning. They are extremely sweet and polite.
There was a slight mix up with the order and they were ready to change even though it was our fault.
To sum it up, this place is amazing to have a nice peaceful time and delicious Bengali food.
The first thing that will win your heart is the courteous staffs! The second thing is the fish item! The fish fingers were just outstandingly delicious! Also the polao and mutton kosha was a delight to enjoy! Just loved the food there and also the ambience! A must visit place!â¤

Though bhoj company is typically a Bengali restaurant as the name suggests...but in the Dalhousie branch they also serve Chinese...As it has a good name in Bengali dishes ..I thought I should explore their Chinese menu also..so here we go!! All the dishes was equally good...The foods were full of flavour ..there was not a single bite, where I felt this part/food was little bland.
But I felt the chilli garlic rice and smoked chicken was exceptionally good( Highly recommend
We ordered chicken thali. So they served us rice, dal, jhur jhuri alu bhaja, a very basic alu r torkari, Chicken & chatni. It's price 325 around..so the basis point is it's not worth it. The signified dish was chicken, & it's very simple. This it not a kosa..my experience in bhoj company was not good.
Right from the moment in entering the restaurant to getting the cheque, it was a very good experience. Well mannered staffs contributed to that, but the food takes the centre stage, if you are lover of Bengali cuisine. The desserts are a must try specially rasmalai, which was the highlight of the whole meal.

Now the Bengali food for which we visited this place was just superb in taste n very fresh, we ordered bhetki fish cutlet, sorshe jhal pomfret, kosha mutton , chingri Malai curry , jhuribhaja , rice n luchi every item was perfectly cooked, fresh n subtle in taste. Couldn't try more as there were only two of us but would definitely want to visit again . A big thumbs up for the food n staff.

We were number in sixâĻAll Exhausted and famished, drifted through the BBD Bag street,our eyes caught site of The Bhoj Company on the road side. We entered and were mesmerized with the beautiful Indian Art on the walls. We settled in while and chose to go for a Pile of Snacks, which was served with warmth in few minutes.
Ate till our heart was full
1. Fish Finger: As the finger broke the crunchy coat, the tongue was ready to experience the kick of hit of mustard sauce with the fishy fillet, we ordered three plates.
2. Murgir Cutlet: The savorful snack, crispy from outside and filled with chicken gave an immense pleasure as the tomato sauce rolled over taste buds.
3. Paneer Pokora: As my teeth was nibbling through, hardly there was any crust, instead It was only fresh paneer under my teeth.
4. Mughlai Paratha & Kashmiri Alur Dum:
I am not a big fan of Mughlai, as only one fourth of it makes me full, but for the first time I completed a full mughlai paratha. As I munched over the alternate layers of stuffing (egg, onion,keema, alu) and crumbly paratha it was extremely delightful, with bites on salad as complimentary. (The oil used for frying was actually good).
The kashmiri alur dum infused with the flavour of Kashmiri spices was a mix of sweet and saltish taste stole the show.
5. Rasamalai: The cream based dessert charged with flavour of Nolen Gur was very delicate and melted invoking a hormonal rush.
After going through the review, the next questions comes about the price. So there is nothing to worry you get the food at a pocket pinching price.
If you donât want to miss the opportunity to give your heart a soulful treat, visit to this place with your family or friends or closed oneâs is a must.
Few days back we ordered đ đ´Paneer Pakora with Tomato sauce đ´Fish Fingers with Mustard sauce đ´Murgir cutlet đ´Mughlai Paratha with Kashmiri Alurdom and Salad The Paneer Pakora was awesome as the paneer was very soft, juicy and the layer was also thin, tasty to eat with tomato sauce.The filling was made with yummy fish filling mixed with required spices and the fish was very much fresh,personally I loved the 'Murgir Cutlet' and 'Mughlai Paratha' there.The chicken cutlet was enough for one and the taste of the filling of minced chicken was superb.They served the Paratha with salad and their special kashmiri alurdom which will give you the authentic taste of Bengali alurdom,the Paratha was also very soft and crispy. The reasonable price, the pleasant ambience,nice Bengali music in background and the courteous staff behaviour will just amaze you

Next, all you gotta do is eat.
To begin with, I am not the biggest fan of "Moghlai Porota" so was skeptical at first. But one bite in and I was floored. And the Alur Dom was just the perfect accompaniment to the porota. The spices and the aroma of it all was enough for me to grab another bowl of it. Equally, the Paneer Finger had juicy slices of paneer that had been fried in a tempura batter. It was hot and crispy from the outside and juicy from the inside. Coming to every bong's favorite, the Fish Fingers. Many of you would know that nowadays, in most of the places, in fish finger you find an unwelcoming taste of unecessary and extra batter with a filling of something else but not fish. Here, it was exactly how a fish finger should be. You could take a bite and know that they used fresh fish. Again, one of the best I had in the long run. The Murgir Cutlet too had a taste worth remembering (or rather thinking about and salivating). The filling had subtle taste of coriander and the spices elevated it an all new level.
The bhoj company is one of the finest bengali food junction in Kolkata. They've also opened couple of outlets in Dhaka. We went there on a wintry sunday evening.

The cutlet and fish fingers were absolutely awesome and rich in taste. The special attraction was moghlai paratha with kashmiri alur dam. It was extraordinary. The filling was so good that it uplifted the taste.
We've also ordered late night menu at our place, dhakai chicken roast along with dam polao. They were absolutely incredible in taste.
An amazing experience today at Bhoj. Ordered various items like gondhoraj chicken fry, luchi, Kashmiri aloo dum, Bhetki Bindas, Mutton Kasha and Dhakai Morog Pulao. Stand out items were Dhakai Morog Pulao, Aloo dum and Gondhoraj Chicken Fry. Definitely, people should visit once with there family and friends. The food was so delicious. Mouthwatering.
Awesome food and ambience. Had daab chingri which was heavenly, also tried chitol curry and fish fry the size and taste is unmatched. Lastly the daab ice cream is a must try.
Very nice decor. We enjoyed the mahabhoj thali with ilish along with postor bora. The food was excellent barring the mutton which was hard and undercooked!

The ambience is also good, with a lot of focus lights and open space. I loved the concept of placing a large tree in the middle. đ
The staff is really courteous and polite. They have excellent service skills and conversed well in English. đ
Coming to the food, the food was succulent and tasty. Nothing was too spicy nor too bland. We ordered a special veg thali, chhanar dalna and luchi. The channar dalna was one of the best I ever had. The luchis were soft as butter. And for dessert, the bill itself was enough as it didn't even burn a hole in our pocket (Psst, the bill didn't cross even 550 bucks after the taxes!)đ¤¤!
Though there were a few issues, it was a really splendid experience altogether. Keep up the good job! đđ
Good place, serves a number of cuisines. Had biriyani and chicken kosha. Both the dishes tasted good though chicken was a bit spicy for my taste. Zomato gold 1+1 is available over here but not on the thaalis. Ambience is also good with Bengali songs playing in the background. Would like to taste bengali dishes on my next visit.
If you wanna try out on authentic Bengali dishes go for "The Bhoj Company" undoubtedly . Visitied this place a fews days back with frnds .The ambience is nice too .. We opt for Dhakai chicken roast ,Dhakai Morog Korma with luchi & trust me together they taste like HEAVEN .. This place also serve Chinese as well .. Overall a great experience ..

Visiting here on a holiday we found this place super crowded and felt under-staffed to cater to the needs of every table .Also their card machine was not functioning so we were bound to pay by cash which disappointed us quite a bit but everything could be overlooked as the food here is really quite delicious and upto the mark!

We had taken the home delivery through Zomato. Before that I called them over phone and asked about different dishes. Staffs explained properly. We took Dum pulao, mutton kosa and Katla kalia. Dum pulao is awesome. Taste and flavour is perfect. The quality of rice is too good. Properly boiled. Visual appeal is strong. Yellow in color. Blend of the flavour is really nice. It's a mix of different spices which creates it's own signature. Where mutton kosa regards the spices are really good. The ratio of mastered oil is also proper. But mutton tasted to be stiff. So I cannot give full marks to it. If they choose mutton from shoulder and rib, I think it would be better. May be a bit more boiling needed.The fish was very average taste wise. Overall it was a good experience. But would request them to look into the factors mentioned.

Very popular restaurant. They basically served authentic Bengali cuisine. You will find a huge range of food on their menu. They have a huge acceptance from the Bangladeshi tourist community. Many people from Bangladesh go there to have some good Bengali food. But their price is higher than other restaurants.
The atmosphere was pleasant, and the cuisine was excellent. We opted for the fried rice and chili chicken, both of which were exceptionally delicious. Furthermore, the restroom was impeccably clean.

We visited here for dinner for the first time. There are two outlets, One at New market area and the other one at Dalhousie, We visited the second one. Naturally this outlets means to be flavours of Bangladesh.

Good bengali cuisine..overall test of food is nice ..pocket friendly price ..Mutton was little hard ..sile Bata murgi was too good but a bit spicy..rice quantity is ok for rs 80 ..there is no half plate rice option in menu card ..but if you want they will serve you half plate rice at rs 50.. fresh lime soda of rs 70 was good ..salad rs 60 serve with onion ,cucumber, green chilli and slice of lemon.. Sunday no thali is available except mohabhoj thali ..Monday to Saturday different thali option r avaliable..

If you are looking for some amazing Bengali cuisine that would be good for your health as well, you must visit the Bhoj Company. Less oily but more tasty items are being served here. Dum Pulao, Murg Dugbunglow and Murg Korma are a must along with Aam Pora Shorbot and Nolen Gurer Icecream. You can also try the Mutton Kosha as well. I tried the Paturi the last time I visited and it was scrumptious as well.
When I visited the Mirza ghalib outlet the owner insisted that I should visit the Dalhousie ,when I visited it I knew why he made me do that and why this outlet had a better rating although being under the same name.
The ambience is very classy and spacious. It also has another floor of sitting arrangement.

I ordered the special veg thali which had same dishes as the veg thali but luchi was extra.
The dhokar dalna and aloor dum was lip smacking.
Along with that dum pulao with chicken kosha and bhetki bindass.
Note - the dum pulao is a sweet pulao i mistook it for its name had "dum" in it.
The bhetki bindass is very hot. I couldn't eat it and it all went wasted. Nothing made me sadder than that.

If you don't have a good spice tolerance better don't try this.

We have ordered Gondhoraj Chicken (shredded peices), Plain Rice (2portion in the image), Murgi Sheel-e-bata, Loitta Sheel-e-bata, Chicken Bhuna (4pcs in one plate) and Masala soda.
All the foods are excellent.
Murgi Sheel-e-bata & Loitta Sheel-e-bata must have, their signature dish, which is enough for 3-4 people if you ordered other items as it is a side dish best goes with plain rice.

And I can suggest that one must try their Fish or Chicken Cordon Bleau, Kochu Pata Chingri, Chicken or Mutton Dak Bungalow, Bhetki Bindaas and Daab Malai Ice cream... Cordon Bleau tastes heavenly.. Kochu pata chingri can give you a hit stroke of mustard which is just Ahaa! Bhetki Bindaas is spicy but Chatpata.. Don't miss Daab Malai Ice cream, because without that your meal will be incomplete.. You can also try their other dishes too.. I'm now a fan of bhoj Company..
Food was good -pure Bangal preparation ,particularly Dhakai,main thing was they tried to make the dishes innovative,not very expensive,spacious,beautiful ambience,kids friendly,extremely courteous staff
