One of the oldest joint in the city who make mainstream and ordinary sweet and are well known for.
I absolutely love their Rosagulla, soft and filled.
Staffs are well behaved and pocket pinch is ordinary and reasonable.

This place has always been a favourite. Love their mishtis ever since I was in school. Kathal Sandesh was kept by my tiffin box when mom visited this place. I also live their korapaker Sandesh. Haven't been there in the recent times. Need to pay a visit very soon!
Entered this visibly antiquated place, while walking by with a few friends. The lyangcha and the roshogolla were really good, and bigger than most places. But I didn't like the green pesta shondesh much. The butterscotch one had ample butterscotch bits and hence I liked it. Though not a fan of kanthal, I tried their kanthal shondesh, which smelled and tasted and even looked like kanthal.

"Sen Mahasaya" is a brand, almost every sweet toothed foodie is aware of, specially the Bongs. But it seems like the quality they serve nowadays is a bit let down, if compared to the way they used to be earlier.
However, the small, humble outlet at Bhawanipore, have a limited range of descent sweets to offer. Good in taste, descent in quality.
That's it.
It was a small bengoli sweets outlet with 1 old table to sit. Place was very old looking and not so clean too. Ambitious and hospitality was average. Sweets were limited in number but all the sweets were very delicious, fresh and some sweets were unique too. I really like the presentation of sweets. Must try their sweets I'm sure you gonna like it. Recommended to all
50m from my place and its a very good place to have quality sweets. However, this branch is not as good as the others. Not very good stocks of sweets as in compared to other Sen Mahasays.
I don't have a sweet tooth unlike many. I have a very few & specific choices when it comes to sweets. And the only place from where I have sweets is the Sen Mahasaya. It is a legendary sweet shop in the town. They have a lot of outlets in Kolkata. The joint at Bhawanipore is a small one situated opposite to the Jadubabu's bazar adjacent to the netaji bhawan metro station. I have some personam fav from here like the barfi, chomchom, singara, kalojam, rasmalai and sarbhaja. The prices are moderate and the sweets are always fresh. If you are a lover of sweets and is in Kolkata, drop by Sen mahasaya sometime. You'll love it in here.
Situated right on Jadubabur Bazar bus stop it's a well known and reputed but a small outlet. Luv the samosa. Murray try the makha sondesh...
"Sen Mahasaya" is a well known name in the confectionery world of this town, having multiple number of outlets all over Kolkata. This outlet of "Sent Mahasaya" is located in Bhawanipur, nearby netaji bhawan metro station. It is a small joint as compared to the other outlets in town. But serves the similar varieties of their signature mouth watering sweets and savories like- paradise sandesh, mango sandesh, sandwich sandesh, darbesh, sitabhog, kirer chop etc; the staffs over here are very friendly and welcoming perhaps connected to this joint since its inception. Overall another joint of "Sen Mahasaya" serving pure quality and succumbing sweets with perfection.
This Sweet Shop just 5minutes distance from my house. When I require Sugar Free Sweets, I always buy Sweets from here. Staffs are very good. Also I want to go there for Rollick Ice-Creams.
